Chapter 51 Olivia's Tent

While Suzuka and Olivia were talking, the rest of the adventurers were busy with their own tasks.

Thomas and John were discussing the plans for the next day's journey, going over the map and discussing the best routes to take. They were also discussing the potential hazards and dangers they might encounter and how to best avoid them.

Sarah was preparing the evening meal, she was cooking over the fire, Sarah was in charge of the meat and the vegetables. Sarah also checked the equipment and supplies, making sure they were in good condition and that they had everything they needed for the next day.

Michael was sharpening his sword, making sure that it was in top condition for the next day's journey. He was focused on his task, carefully honing the edge of his blade.

The group watched from a distance as Olivia and Suzuka talked. They were all curious about what was going on with Suzuka, but they trusted Olivia to handle the situation and they knew that she would come to them with any information she found out.

They could sense that something was different about her, something strange. They didn't know what it was, but they could tell that she was hiding something. The group didn't interfere or go to talk to Suzuka, they left the information gathering to Olivia who was known for her charm and ability to get people to open up.

Suzuka and Olivia were sitting by the campfire, talking and getting to know each other better. Olivia had been quite open about herself, but Suzuka was still curious to know more about her.

"Olivia, if you don't mind me asking, what's your story? How did you end up at this adventuring party?" Suzuka asked with a curious tone.

Olivia smiled at Suzuka and while still holding her in her embrace whispered in Suzuka's ear so nobody else could hear it, "Well, I've always been interested in adventure and excitement. So, I left my home when I was young and started traveling. I've been on many adventures and met a lot of interesting people along the way," she said with a hint of nostalgia in her voice.

"And how did you meet Thomas and the rest of the party?" Suzuka asked, taking a sip of her tea.

"I met Thomas a few years ago, back then, I just joined the hunters guild and was about to go on a quest, alone. Thomas has a keen eye, he noticed me right away and offered to form a party. We worked together on a quest, and we've been together ever since. The rest of the party joined us later on, and we've been traveling and adventuring together ever since," Olivia said, her eyes shining with excitement as she spoke about her meeting with Thomas.

"Wow, that sounds like quite an exciting life. I'm envious of all the places you've been and the things you've seen," Suzuka said with a hint of awe.

Olivia chuckled, "It definitely has its ups and downs but not every quest turns out good. Adventure is in my blood, and I can't imagine living any other way," she said with a smile.

As Olivia and Suzuka continued to talk, their conversation turned to the darker side of adventuring. Olivia opened up to Suzuka about how adventures are not always good, and how they can bring a lot of sadness and sorrow.

"It's not all sunshine and rainbows, Suzuka," Olivia said, her expression turning serious. "Being an adventurer can be dangerous, and we've all lost friends along the way. There are people who may use you by inviting you to their parties. If you really want to be an adventurer, choose your partners wisely."

Suzuka nodded, understanding the weight of Olivia's words. "I've lost someone who I considered a friend too," she said softly. "And I met more than a few bad adventurers who did me wrong."

Olivia's curiosity was piqued, she wanted to know more about them, she asked "Can you tell me their names? I'm an adventurer too and I want to know if they are still out there."

Suzuka hesitated for a moment, her expression becoming more serious. "It's a long story," she said, "They were only interested in their own gain and didn't care about my life that they destroyed. Names I remember were Alex, Kane, Dixson, Derrick, and Jacob. Also, that Clive guy I told you about. Have you heard any of them?"

Olivia listened carefully, but she didn't recognize any of the names Suzuka was mentioning. "I'm sorry, Suzuka," Olivia said, "I don't think I've ever heard of any of those people before. All I can say is that they are not from Rockmine town."

As the conversation between Olivia and Suzuka went on, Suzuka started to feel tired and sleepy. She had been up early and the journey had taken its toll on her.

"I think I'm going to turn in for the night, Olivia," Suzuka said, stifling a yawn. "I'm feeling a bit tired."

"Of course, Suzuka," Olivia said, whit a slight smile on her face. "You should get some rest. We've got a big day ahead of us tomorrow. But one more thing, I couldn't but notice, you don't have a tent to sleep in and it would be rude of me to leave you out in the cold. So how about you join me in my tent? I know it's small but we will fit. I promise I won't do anything silly."

Suzuka nodded, "Well, I don't want to bother you but if you insist, I will take the offer," Suzuka said as she stood up and stretched.

Olivia pointed at her tent and said, "My tent is over there, you can go on first, I need to speak with Thomas before I go to sleep."

Suzuka bid Olivia goodnight and made her way to her tent. As she settled down for the night, she couldn't help but feel grateful for Olivia's understanding and support. She felt that she had found a good friend in her and that made her feel more at ease. Olivia was nice to her all the time, unlike certain someone who lives in the cave and calls her stupid. (Talking about Bill)

After Suzuka went to sleep, Olivia made her way to Thomas's tent to report the information she had gathered about Suzuka. She knew that Thomas would want to know what was going on with Suzuka and she didn't want to keep him in the dark.

"Thomas, I've talked to Suzuka and I've learned some things about her," Olivia said as she entered the tent.

Thomas looked up from his map, "What kind of things?"

"Well, she's been through a lot of pain, and she's still struggling with the aftermath," Olivia began, "She also mentioned some names, Alex, Kane, Dixson, Derrick, Jacob, and Clive, which I don't know, but she said they were bad adventurers. I assumed, Clive was the only one alive from the name list she gave."

Thomas listened carefully, nodding as Olivia spoke. "That's good information to know," he said, "It's always helpful to know the background of the people we're traveling with. As for the names, none of them sounds familiar, they are not from the same guild we are. But I want you to keep a close eye on Suzuka, if anything seems off about this woman or she needs help, let me know."

Olivia nodded and said in a lustful voice "Of course, Thomas. I'll keep a really close eye on her. I'll let you know if anything comes up."

With that, Olivia bid Thomas goodnight and made her way back to her tent, where Suzuka was sleeping. As Olivia entered her tent, she found Suzuka already asleep. She smiled to herself, knowing that Suzuka must have been exhausted from their journey.

Olivia quietly made her way to her bedroll and lay down next to Suzuka. She was face to face with her, and she couldn't help but stare at her. She took in the peaceful expression on Suzuka's face, and she felt a warmth in her heart.

She gently reached out and brushed a strand of hair away from Suzuka's face, taking care not to wake her. She couldn't help but feel drawn to Suzuka, there was something about her that made Olivia feel protective and attracted to her.

Without hesitation, Olivia wrapped her arms around Suzuka and gently pulled her close, holding her tightly. Suzuka stirred in her sleep, she let out a silent moan. Olivia could feel her body relaxing against hers, and she knew that she had done something to ease her mind.

As Olivia held Suzuka, she could feel her breathing slow down and become more regular. She knew that Suzuka had found some comfort in her embrace.

Olivia's heart started to beat faster as she felt the warmth of Suzuka's body against hers and the sensation of her breath on her skin. She could feel Suzuka's heart beating in sync with hers and it felt as if they were one.

As Olivia held Suzuka, she couldn't help but feel a deep connection to her, something she had never felt before. Olivia tightened her grip, gently stroking Suzuka's hair and whispering soothing words in her ear.

As the night went on, Olivia stayed by Suzuka's side, watching over her and making sure she was safe. She knew that Suzuka was going through a difficult time. Olivia closed her eyes, taking in the moment, enjoying the feeling of holding Suzuka close, and eventually fell asleep.

in the morning, the gentle sound of raindrops hitting the tent roof woke Suzuka up. she found herself wrapped in Olivia's arms. She felt a sense of warmth and comfort that she had not felt in a long time. She knew that Olivia was someone she could trust and rely on, and she felt grateful to have her by her side. She smiled and thanked her for staying with her all night. Olivia replied with a smile, "Oh, I wish I could share my tent with you every night."

Suzuka took it as a silly joke and with a chuckle said, "I would prefer spending nights in my bed, rather than in this forest."

Olivia smiled and flirtatiously said, "Mmmm... I would like that too..."

Suzuka pretended that she didn't catch the meaning of Olivia's flirting and walked outside. But Olivia was reading Suzuka as an open book and she knew that Suzuka was putting up a front of a clueless, naive, innocent girl.

"Mmmm... I like you Suzu, that fierce gaze you gave me... that intense aura you emanated when you grabbed my arm... mmmm... you little devil in sheep's hide." Olivia whispered to herself as she was looking at Suzuka as she was leaving her tent.

The early morning in the deep forest was dark and dreary. The rain was creeping in, slowly soaking through the trees and dampening the ground. The air was thick with mist and the sound of raindrops hitting the leaves was all that could be heard.

Looking outside the tent Suzuka saw Thomas and other adventurers gathered up. Only Olivia and Suzuka were still not ready. Thomas looked at Suzuka and asked, "Suzuka Is everything okay? Olivia still sleeping?" with a slight concern in his voice.

But before she could say anything Olivia called back, "Relax Thomas, the weather is bad today, we can't move in this heavy rain, let's wait a few hours for it to calm down."

Olivia answered in Suzuka's place only to change the flow of the conversation, she didn't want Suzuka to feel mistrusted.  Because the way Thomas asked the question implied that Suzuka might have hurt Olivia.

Thomas, the party leader, agreed with Olivia, "I was about to say the same thing, we will wait out the rain and move out when it let down. It would be reckless to travel in heavy rain."

The party members are professionals, they nodded in agreement, and they knew that Thomas was right. The rain would make the ground slippery and dangerous, and it would be much easier to wait it out.

Michael was standing guard, keeping his eyes on the surrounding area as they waited, the rest huddled under their cloaks and shelters, trying to stay dry. The rain grew heavier and the wind picked up, making it difficult to hear each other. The ground was soon covered in a thick layer of mud, making it hard to move around. It would have been a mistake to go out in this downpour.
