Chapter 1:

Chapter 1: The First Transaction That Changed a War

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Gun Dealer!

A week had passed since the incident. I finally began planning to sell weapons to warring tribes. From what I heard in the marketplace, the Dark Elves were currently fighting against the Savage Lizardmen—armored beasts whose scales were so thick that arrows, spears, and even magic barely affected them. Casualties continued to rise on the Dark Elf side, while the Savage Lizardmen suffered none.

That was when I decided to take action.

I bought a horse wagon. I could have created a car, but I chose to play it safe since I still didn’t fully understand the legal system of this world. The Dark Elves loved high-accuracy weapons, so I loaded several AR-15 rifles and Heckler & Koch HK416s into the wagon.

Entering the forest, an arrow suddenly landed right in front of me.

“Human, what are you doing here?”
A Dark Elf aimed an arrow at me, his companion doing the same.

I expected this.

“I’m here to trade. I have something you may be interested in—for example, this.”

I took out a First Aid Spray. The Dark Elves looked confused.

“What foolish object is this, human?”

“You’ll see. You up there—your leg is injured, isn’t it? Come here.”

A young Dark Elf stepped forward, limping. I sprayed the First Aid on his leg.

Instant healing.

“Huh? My leg… suddenly healed. I can walk again!”
The boy sprinted in excitement. The others stared in disbelief.

That was enough to earn their trust. They began buying various goods, until one Dark Elf noticed the rifles.

“Sir…?”

“My name is Mikael Yuri.”

“Sir Yuri, what is this object?”

“That’s exactly what I want to discuss with your chief.”

They escorted me deeper into their territory. Many were wounded—victims of a war they could not win.

We arrived at the chief’s home. The Dark Elf leader, Var’Leth, examined one of my rifles with stern eyes.

“Human… this weapon looks fragile. Thin metal like this will never pierce the scales of our swamp monsters. My clan does not buy trash.”

I smiled politely.

“Trash? Oh no, Chief. This is no cheap tool. This is an AR-15—made in another world. Accuracy? Stability? You won’t find anything like it in any forest.”

Var’Leth glared.

“We Dark Elves value precision. If your weapon cannot pierce a Savage Lizardman, then this negotiation is over.”

The soldiers chuckled—some mocking, some curious.

I nodded.

“Very well. Let’s demonstrate.”

I cocked the rifle.

“Alright, live demo,” I muttered.

I took aim.

Duk! Duk! Duk!

Three clean shots. Three perfect holes—lined up precisely in the center of a thick wooden target.

Silence fell.

But Var’Leth still didn’t look convinced.

“Accuracy is good… but Savage Lizardmen are far harder than wood. Your weapon is still lacking.”

I exhaled, annoyed, and pulled out a large olive-green tube from my bag.

AT4. One shot, one less problem.

The Dark Elves stepped back.

“Wh–what is that?”

“A toy that hits a bit harder,” I replied.

Suddenly, a soldier ran in, panicked. A Savage Lizardman had appeared—three meters tall, scales shining like wet steel. It had come straight from the front lines.

“Why is it here?”
“We’re under attack! Prepare—”

I stepped forward, raising a hand.

“Relax. This is the perfect demo.”

I shouldered the AT4, locked onto the target, and spoke calmly:

“Watch carefully. This is how otherworld technology works.”

BOOOOOOM!

A massive explosion lit up the forest. The ground shook. Hot wind swept across the Dark Elves.

The Lizardman vanished—leaving only a crater and rising smoke.

Silence engulfed the tribe.

I lowered the AT4 and tapped it lightly.

The Dark Elves stared in shock.

Var’Leth’s voice trembled.
“…How… how many of these weapons can you provide…?”

I smiled professionally.

“As many as you need. Buy three, and I’ll throw in operator training.”

Whispers spread among the warriors.

“Is he human?”
“Or a god of destruction?”
“We must learn to use that thing.”

Var’Leth finally bowed his head slightly.

“From this day… the Dark Elf clan will work with you, Yuri. Teach us… this art of destruction.”

I smiled.

The next day, I trained them like real soldiers. I even gave them military uniforms, and they accepted them with pride. For the first time, I felt like I had my own troop.

Then the attack came.

A massive Savage Lizardman assault.

They moved swiftly like lizards, charging toward us.

“Everyone, fire!”

A storm of bullets tore through the enemy. One fell—then another.

“Bring out the AT4s!”

SHOOT
BOOM

One explosion after another.

By the end, none of the Lizardmen remained. The Dark Elves cheered, lifting me into the air. They even offered me a home in their tribe, but I refused. I needed to return to Ponchiki to pay my debt.

Back in town, I handed over a pouch full of gold coins. My burden finally lightened.

That was the day I decided:

I would become a gun dealer.

Meanwhile, news of the Dark Elves’ overwhelming victory spread to the capital, Donada. The king scoffed at the mention of someone named Yuri.

He didn’t know it yet.

But I would soon become the world’s greatest threat.
