From University Graduate to Soldier in an Interstellar Conflict: I Got Isekaied to an Alien World at War
Hello to one and all. I'm writing an afterword for whatever reason. I didn't even know afterword was a thing until yesterday, so go along with it, okay? An author's note is what I'm more familiar with, but someone clarified that they're similar, so no worries.
Being here was nice. I wrote like I never did before. For me, to be here was amazing. To meet so many people from around the world, including the Meme God, Sevenlock, (he deserves to win for his AOT meme on the Discord server) was a treat even though I wasn't there as often as I would like.
I must thank all the people who took the time to read my work, however few they may be... Annnnnnnnnd that's my problem.
I always struggled to gain reads, not because I'm bad, or that I don't improve, it's just I don't generate any buzz. All those imaginative premises, quirky characters, and intriguing world-building can't beat a Wattpad billionaire book. I thought Honeyfeed would change that with the large influx of people to the site, but few have taken notice. Hopefully, I will get some interest if I make it to the public voting segment. That would be nice.
I do wish everyone the best! Win or lose, we tried our hardest. And for those unable to complete theirs in time, this is not the end! There are many other contests and opportunities out there. Keep writing what's in your heart and head and you'll get somewhere. Trust me. Maybe you'll be the winner of next year's Honeyfeed contest. But how will you know if you don't continue honing this craft? If you really do love this thing called writing, you'll do it whenever you can.
I think that's enough passionate, motivational writing for tonight. Hopefully, I'll be able to have my Twitter up soon, so if you want to follow, then you should! I'll inform you all when. I might post some poetry and whatnot if you're interested.
Peace, love and god bless. I'm out!
