Conflict

The War of the Royals, a war that lasted for 9 years between the four cardinal kingdoms of the continent, Deas Astral. 

Northern Kingdom, Audacieux. 
Southern Kingdom, Lumiere.
Western Kingdom, Souhaiter.
Eastern Kingdom, Espoir. 

All four kingdoms had friendly relations, but something sparked between them that led to the 9-year disaster. One of which being the assassination of the King and Queen of Souhaiter. Rumors had spread that King Nova of Lumiere had hired an assassin to kill them, provoking the initial conflict of the war. 

After the deaths of the King and Queen, their only child, Cheryl, was locked away before the war had even started, and soon her grandfather would rule over the kingdom, ultimately leading them into war. 

Despite being situated across the continent, King Nova made his move to attack the Northern Kingdom, and greeted the royals of Audacieux, personally. 

No one understood his intentions, maybe not even himself. Alas, he infiltrated the palace of the North, and slaughtered King Roy and Queen Ianthia Vaughn with his own two hands. 

Their deaths spread like a wildfire, reaching the ears of the Audacieux soldiers causing them to lose their will to fight back.  Taking over the North was a big accomplishment for Nova, as his dream to conquer all the Kingdoms of Deas Astral and unite them as one was now a step closer to coming true. 

Once the war had ceased, restoration to each kingdom began with haste as each domain worked hard to rebuild their cities, towns, and villages, however, they could never replace the loved ones that were lost. As time moved on, peace began to settle in, and soon 3 years would pass.

King Nova now rules over the North and South, but to him it wasn't enough.
