Encounter Part 1

1517 hours, 25 June 0145…

We're sneaking behind, wandering Taken-Ki through this long and dark corridor. We're thought the situation was going along with the plan. Until Taken-Ki felt something suspicious in his behind. And then, we quickly hiding behind the wall gap preventing us from getting spotted by him. After that, Taken-Ki continued walking through this dark corridor like nothing happened.

"Is this our perfect time to strike him from behind?" I asked while peeking Taken-Ki behind the wall gap. And then, he replied while looked at his hologram watch that's showing the map of this abandoned sugar factory.

"Not yet. However, I detected another threat is coming from the 10 o'clock and it's going right into Taken-Ki.,"

"So you're saying we will strike him from behind under certain circumstances, right? Like, we'll start attacking him from behind, when he's distracted in the front. So, what do you think?" I asked him back. And then he replied.

"Might be. Considering Taken-Ki is a little stupid,"

"Ok, let's go," I said while nodded.

Wasting no seconds, we're continued tailing Taken-Ki from behind while remain undetected.

*stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp*

The heavy iron stomping feet sounds were echoing through this dark corridor when we're tailing him from behind. We're so lucky that Taken-Ki doesn't pay attention too much from his behind. Until he said something in a sudden that causes us to flinch and quickly hiding from another wall gap.

"Kill… everyone… who… get in… my master… way!" He said in a growling, and deep robotic voice. Then, Taken-Ki continued while inspecting his Greatsword that's smeared with a blood.

"To protect… my master… I have… to kill… everyone… who… get in… my way!" He continued with an angered, growling tone while holding and looking at the blade of his Greatsword.

"What master?" I asked to him while hiding in the wall gap.

"Probably his creator or someone he used to protect," He answered.

"Kind of sad to hear. Unfortunately, we have to do it.,"

"Heh," Joshua replied while smirked in a slight and nodded.

Suddenly, we're heard a walking sound echoing in this dark corridor. And it seems like it's a monster step sound.

*DRAP DRAP DRAP DRAP*

An eerie sound shook the corridor and lifted the curtains from their resting position. The Ragodrome's roar soared from the depths of hell, from its rusty wind pipe exited a dreadful sonata that shook us to our bones. Much more than an invitation for his meal to jump straight into his mouth, it was a battlecry that announced an incoming massacre. Oh boy was this thing hungry.

*Hooooaaaaaahhhhhh*

*Hiyaaaaaagggghhhhh*

*HOOOOAAAHHH HOOOAAAHHH HOOOAAAAHHH*

Taken-Ki's in the fighting stance position with his Greatsword to counter Ragodrome. Then, he said while swung his Greatsword into the right side.

"Intruder… ALERT! Must kill, INTRUDEEEEEERRRRR!!!"

"Kill… everyone… who… get in… MY MASTER WAY!!!" He continued. He dashed toward Ragodrome as his feet crushing the floor and causing a mini earthquake.

*STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP*

"A fucking Ragodrome? What the hell is that monster doing in here?" I asked to Joshua.

"I don't know. Probably for food,"

"And their food must be that Infectoid, right?"

"Correct.," Joshua replied while nodded.

It made little sense in the first place, like a living being eating an iron. However, Galean's monsters food chain is really unstable.

Because, there's a history of the 1st great extinction during the late Exordian age (Prehistoric age). The cause of the 1st great extinction alleged to be a large meteoroid falling into the largest and most dangerous volcano at the Northwest of San Martino called Mt. Giuvila.

After the large-scale explosion because of the large meteoroid striking Mt. Giuvila and causing a massive eruption that's almost destroyed half of Galean planet, there's a Gelusian age (Ice Age) that's causing most of the Galean being starved to death and can't feast any edible foods. Because most of the foods they wanted to feast dies because of the thick snow that's covering most of Galean land.

And because of that, many Galean living beings in the Gelusian age (Ice age) committed a large scale cannibalism by eating each other for their survival. Even they're eating a hard object like rocks, irons, ores, and so on. Day after day, eating these kinds of objects, and committing cannibalism, the ancient Galean beings are evolved into a resistant being.

And even till this day and age, most of the Galean living beings, including the humans on this planet, still did these things. However, the humans' arrival from another planet is becoming the turning point for these natives that's used to do these.

Looking at that hungry Ragodrome about to devour Taken-Ki gave me a little pity for the life of this planet during that age. However, it's also useful for their own survival and for their body resistance. Because the hard objects that the Galean monsters used to feast containing great substances that can add their resistance to their body for the survival. Even I remembered I used to swallow 3 Protein Rocks for a supplement during my early days as Minerva's Authonoid.

"He's about to attack Ragodrome. However, he's a bit fucked up this time," I said to myself while peeking at Taken-Ki dashed toward Ragodrome while swinging his Greatsword to beheading Ragodrome's neck.

*SWUNG*

Unfortunately, Ragodrome dodged it in a lightning speed and did a payback attack toward Taken-Ki by spitting toxic saliva toward Ragodrome's mouth. It hit Taken-Ki's left belly and did nothing toward his big and steely body.

"YOU… BASTARD!!! I WILL… KILL YOU!!!" Said Taken-Ki angered while dashed toward Ragodrome by swinging his Greatsword to slashing Ragodrome body.

"Is it our time to strike him from behind?" I asked while take a peek behind the wall gap. And then Joshua answered.

"Not yet. We should wait until he's about to-" Suddenly, Taken-Ki smacked Ragodrome's left body with the blunt part of his Greatsword and thrown away Ragodrome toward this wall gap harshly.

However, I realized this wall gap that's used to covering ourselves was really old and fragile, and it's easily destructed by any harsh collision.

"Wait, watch out!" I said to Joshua while ducking together to avoid from Ragodrome getting thrown away by Taken-Ki toward this wall gap.

*DSSSHHRRAAAAAKKKKKKKK*

Ragodrome hit this wall gap harshly, and it's causing a chunk of these walls thrown away at any direction. We thought about the debris of these walls covering our bodies, but thankfully we're safe and sound.

The smoke covering the rest of this corridor because of this crumbled wall, and then I saw sprawled Ragodrome covered with wall debris. Although his body was covered with heavy wall debris, he's desperate to get up and fight back against Taken-Ki. And then he screamed in desperation.

*HIRRYYYAAAAGGGGHHHH*

Suddenly, Taken-Ki throwing a large sharp steel that's enough to kill sprawled Ragodrome. And it stabbed right at his waist.

*STAB*

*Hyaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhnnnnnn*

Ragodrome breathe his last breath and died under that wall debris after stabbed by the large steel at his waist.

"Holy shit! What the fuck was that?" I asked while wiping off my clothes from the debris dusts. And then, I looked behind and saw a large being from the smoke with a 1 threatening red eye staring at us menacingly.

And when the smoke was cleared, Taken-Ki revealed himself staring at us and clenching his Greatsword from his right hand.

"Great… we're fucked up right now," Said Joshua while drawing his dual guns and did a fighting stance for engaging against Taken-Ki

"You… Authonoids… must… DIEEEEEE!!!!" He shouted as he swung his Greatsword from above to slashing us.

*SWUNG*

With a sheer luck, we're avoided his slash.

*BWOAAAAASSSSSSHHHHHHH*

"Tsuyuki! Get ready!" Joshua said to me while preparing for a fight.

And then, I said.

"Looks like an evil robot needs some teaching, eh?" After that, I revved my Nakajima from my back.

*BRAAAAAAAAAAP BRAAAAAAAAP BRAAAAAAAP*

Feeling intimidated, Taken-Ki swung his Greatsword left and right.

"HUUURRRRYYAAAAAAAGGHHHHH!!!!"

*SWOSH SWOSH SWOSH*

"EVADE!" Joshua said to me when he sees me about getting slashed by his Greatsword..

Both of us evaded Taken-Ki Greatsword's swing in a lightning speed by rolling to the side.

*SWOSH SWOSH SWOSH*

After we've evaded Taken-Ki's Greatsword swing, I quickly draw my Kiryu and shoot Taken-Ki 3 times toward his right chest.

*BANG BANG BANG*

"You… foolish… Authonoids… killed… my master! And all of you… MUST DIEEEE!!!" Said Taken-Ki, angered while chasing me as his heavy steely feet stomping the ground.

"Tsuyuki! Dammit, that bastard!" Said Joshua while following my lead from behind while chased by Taken-Ki.

I keep shooting him with my Kiryu to pushing him further to increasing the gap behind me.

*BANG BANG BANG BANG*

*CHICK CHICK CHICK*

My Kiryu is running out an ammo, and I reloaded it only using my right hand. After I reloaded, I saw Taken-Ki enraged and shouted.

"KILL… KILL… KILL… MUST KILL… ALL… AUTHONOIDS… FOR… MY MASTER!!!" Shout Taken-Ki in deep growling robotic voice.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!" He shouted again as he swung his Greatsword harshly and it would create a shock-wave projectile that can slash any objects.

*JSSHHHIIINNNNGGGGG*

*BWOOOOOSSSSHHHHH*

*CRASH*

*BRYAK*

*BSSHHRRYYAAAAAKKKKK*

With a sheer luck, I avoided his shock-wave projectile by ducking while dashing.

"Holy shit! That was close!" I said while looking at the aftermath as the nearby property and the walls in this dark corridor destroyed into pieces as if this place was about to crumble down.

Suddenly Joshua jumped above Taken-Ki, did a front flip, and did a rapid fire toward Taken-Ki's head with his Dual Guns.

*DADADADADADADADADADADADADA*

After that, he following my leads beside me.

"What'd you gonna do in this situation, dumbass?" He asked, while dashing. Then, I came up with an idea and asked.

"Do you find any nearest wide space with tons of property in there?" I asked him back. After that, he turned on his hologram watch to look up at the map for the nearby open empty spaces.

The reason for us is to setting a trap for him by using the remaining properties in there. And after he fell into our trap, we can easily slay that Infectoid.

"There's a warehouse around 300m to the right," He answered while looking at his hologram watch.

"Unfortunately, there's Veronica and Christine. And it seems like they're fighting against Kalbaroth in there. We don't want to interfere with their fight, or else we're fucked up in the middle," He continued while dashed.

When I'm running, I looked back for a second to see if the Taken-Ki gap between us was getting closer. And it's getting closer for around 0.986 seconds from behind, where he's getting closer than we've expected it to be.

"Is there another one that's completely empty with no other people in there?" I asked in a hurry.

He checked his hologram watch again to find any empty places while running. After that, he said to me.

"I found one! Unfortunately, it's far away from us. It's estimated around 732m from here. However, I've analyzed that there's 9% of explosive property in that area,"

"That'll be useful. Let's go!" I said to him while dashed faster than Joshua through this dark corridor.

"Your call," He replied while following my lead from behind.

"DON'T… RUN… AWAY FROM ME!!! BECAUSE… I WILL… KILL ALL OF YOU!!!" Taken-Ki shouted and following our lead from behind as his gap is getting closer, and he's about to kill all of us with his Greatsword.

With no second, I saw a pillar from above in this corridor, and I have an idea to grappling ourselves with my Claws to get away from Taken-Ki easily to buy us times to set up the trap in there.

"We have to grapple ourselves in that pillar from above!" I said to Joshua while grappling myself toward the pillars from above.

"Good idea!" He replied, as he did the same as me with his grappling hook.

*CHUUUIIIIIIIIT*

*CHUUUIIIIITTTT*

"YOU… BASTARD AUTHONOIDS… KILLED… MY MASTER!!! I… WILL… KILL ALL OF YOU!!!!" Said Taken-Ki when he's swung his Greatsword and create a projectile slash like before where it causes a massive havoc in this area.

*SWOOOOOSSSHHHHH*

*BSSRRYAAKKK*

I did a midair maneuver to avoiding his projectile slash and falling walls in this corridor while grappling myself toward pillars by pillar quickly.

*CHUUUIIIIIITTTT*

*CHUUUIIIIITTT*

After that, I draw my Kiryu to shoot down Taken-Ki midair to pushing him back further.

*BANG BANG BANG*

Joshua did the same thing as me. But, he did it with a cooler midair maneuver by rapidly firing him in behind, grappling, and repeat.

*DADADADADADAADADADADA*

*CHUUIIIITTTT*

*DADADADADADADADADADADA*

*CHUUUIIIITTTT*

I did the same as Joshua. But, I did a charge shot when my bullet is about to running out.

*BANG BANG BANG KABAM*

"GYAAAKKK!!!" Taken-Ki shouted when my charge shot a bullet hitting right at his left shoulder.

"This… is… nothing-" Suddenly, the bullet exploded.

*BOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM*

"AAAAGGHHHHH!!!! YOU… BASTARD, HAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGHHHH!!!!" He screamed in pain while he's downed into the ground.

Suddenly, he's enraged and he's dashed faster than ever, where the gap is getting closer, around 0.417 second from behind.

*STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP*

"Looks like we've enraged him further. We have to grapple ourselves quick!" Joshua said while grappling away from Taken-Ki through the pillar by a pillar on the way to the destined place we're wanted to go.

I replied by nodding and grappling together with him to get away from Taken-Ki and buying us some times to setting up the trap whenever Taken-Ki entered the warehouse in there.

*CHUUUIIIIIIIIT*

"DON'T… RUN AWAY FROM ME!!! YOU MUST PAY… FROM WHAT YOU DID… TO MY MASTER!!!" Taken-Ki shouted as his shout echoed through this dark corridor from the distance.
