Encounter Part 2

1521 hours, 25 June 0145…

We've arrived at the warehouse and jumping through the broken square ventilation above this big iron door. After both of us landed inside this warehouse, I inspected some explosive material inside this warehouse to find any existing explosive materials that Joshua had mentioned before.

Unfortunately, there are barely any explosive materials in this warehouse. All we found in this warehouse are just tons of sugar bags, bags of fertilizers, box of papers, and small jars of potassium powder stacked in each rack.

I was confused and disappointed because Joshua has lied to me. He's claimed that there's a 9% of explosive material in this warehouse.

"What the hell is this? Is this the 9% explosive material that you've mentioned before? How does it make any sense if sugars, fertilizers, paper, and potassium powder were explosive? Are you fucking kidding me?" I said in frustration when looking at these materials. And then Joshua replied.

"What I meant by 9% of explosive material, is from what are the chances these materials are explosive,"

"What do you mean by that?" I asked again in frustration and confusion. Then he replied to me by asking me a question.

"Did you know these materials are flammable?"

"What? Does it make any sense at all?" I asked back by raising my eyebrows.

Before answering my question, Joshua brought 1 sugar bag, 1 fertilizer bag, 1 box of paper, and a small jar or potassium powder. After that, he opened these bags with his knife to answering my question when looking at these materials.

"First of foremost, crystalline sugar can trigger an explosion. The finer the sugar, the greater the risk. So, confectioners'/powdered sugar (i.e.- 10X), which has a particle size in the order of 60 microns, can be a particular hazard. Furthermore, the milling of the sugar to achieve this fine particle size presents a potential ignition source. And when you look at the grain of this sugar, it seems like it can ignite into flames from how firm these crystals are," He explained while holding the grain of the sugars in his left hand.

After that, he explained the fertilizer.

"Secondly, fertilizer is flammable and explosive because it contains an ammonium nitrate, and it's a nitrogen for fertilizer. So ammonium nitrate is like the engine behind the explosion, but the engine needs fuel,"

"And finally, potassium nitrate is the substance that's used to make gunpowder or fertilizer like that one. And it can create a high explosion if we put tons of them and ignite it with a fire," He continued while showing me the potassium powder jar.

"And because of these materials are flammable, it'll be able to create an explosion when you give it a maximum heat source," He explained again.

I nodded in understanding. And then, I said to him while reminiscing something.

"Actually, I remember when I used to make a firecracker using fertilizer,"

"Yes! That's exactly what we're about to make," He said while pointing at me in confidence.

"Firecrackers out from these? How does it possible to combine these materials to create firecrackers?" I asked confusedly while looked at these materials.

In a few seconds, Joshua picked up a piece of paper from the box and start doing some experiment out of these materials for explanation.

"Well, it's simple. If you combine the sugar, fertilizer, and this potassium powder into this piece of paper. You're able to create an explosive material out of this. Considering these are flammable and create an explosion of you, put this perfect amount of material inside this paper.,"

"After that, we're rolling this paper into a cylinder shape, double it with another layer of paper, rolling it again, pinching the tips of each cylinder, do a flipsy-whipsy technique to prevent the materials from spilled,"

"And finally, don't forget to use the small piece of cloth from this bag as the ignitor. Just put it right into the tiny gap through this cylinder tip.,"

"And, here it is," He said while showing me his firecracker from his origami.

"Heh, no wonder why you're such a tech-expert," I said jocularly.

"What's the point of you yapping 'Think outside the box!' while you're always sleeping in the class," He replied to me sharply.

"Also, we need something to trigger the explosion of this firecracker," He continued. And then, I replied by giving him a suggestion.

"How about if you throw at his face and then shoot it? Or maybe ignite it first with the heat source from the tip of your gun, like how you throw a Molotov?"

"Sounds like a plan," He replied while nodded.

Suddenly, Taken-Ki shouts heard from outside from this warehouse. And it seems like his shout is getting closer and closer.

"DON'T… RUN AWAY… FROM ME!!! FOR… I WILL… KILL… ALL OF YOU!!!" His shout followed with a heavy iron stomping that causing a mini earthquake like before. That causing both of us flinched and alerted.

"We must set up the trap quick!" I said to Joshua while detaching the rack.

"You focusing on creating the firecracker, while I focusing on making a trap to whack his head out from these racks," I continued.

"On it!" Joshua replied while nodded and focusing on creating the firecrackers out from these flammable materials.

"Don't forget to hide your firecrackers inside that crate. So, whenever he's standing right in that place, just shoot it!" I continued to him.

"Roger!"

After that, both of us focusing on creating our own traps to slay Taken-Ki easier after he has fallen into our trap. Considering that Infectoid is too stupid.

3 minutes later…

After we set our traps, we're hiding in a separated spot where we trick that Infectoid whenever he's fallen into one of our trap.

So, the strategy is: I will cut down the rope and let the iron pole from the detached rack whacking his head like a wrecking ball does. After that, Joshua will throw several firecrackers toward Taken-Ki. And then, we're did a close combat against that Infectoid.

After we've enraged him by wounding him further, we lure him into our trap by getting whacked by tons of iron pole, and exploded with tons of firework inside that large crate.

"Did you know this abandoned sugar factory used to create a fine sugar?" I asked Joshua through the comms channel, while hiding behind the rack covered with boxes and taking a peek between the gaps of these boxes to see if Taken-Ki arrived or not yet.

"Yes. The reason they abandon this factory is that the company moved into a more strategic place for better production," He answered straightforwardly.

Suddenly, Taken-Ki slashed the warehouse door with his Greatsword.

*JSLHOSH JSLHOSH*

After that, he kicked the slashed iron door with his feet harshly.

*BBSSSSSSRRRYYAAAAAKKKKKK*

Then he entered this warehouse with a threatening stomp and growled.

*stomp stomp stomp*

"YOU… HAVE… KILLED… MY MASTER!!! NOW… I SHALL… KILL YOU!!!"

"You can run… but you cannot hide! Show yourself, AND FIGHT AGAINST ME. YOU… FILTHY… COWARDLY AUTHONOIDS!!!" He continued while walking through the corner of this warehouse, trying to find us.

Unfortunately, he failed to notice us behind these boxes where we're peeking through these gaps.

*stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp*

When he's walking around this warehouse and failed to notice us, he's standing right in the spot of my trap while looking around left and right to take a small break.

"I think it's my time," I said while sneaking and climbing through the upside pillar to activating my trap.

"Do it!" Joshua replied to me.

After I climbed myself through the upside pillar sneakily and standing right in the rope of my trap, I provoked him by shouting at him.

"HEY TAKEN-BITCH! YOUR MASTER IS A PIECE OF SHIT!"

Taken-Ki startled hearing my rant. And then, he looked at his back and saw me standing in the pillar from above while giving him a downward left middle finger as a "Fuck you, loser!" sign.

Feeling mocked, Taken-Ki anger is increasing as he clenching his Greatsword, and he said to me growlingly.

"You… filthy… Authonoid… mocked… my master! Now, I shall… KILL YOU!!!"

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!" He shouted as he swung his Greatsword toward right side to create a shock wave projectile.

*BWUUAAASSSSHHHHHHH*

Unfortunately, his shock wave projectile slashing the rope instead of me, because I ducked. And that causes the trap to be triggered, and he's about to get whacked by this swinging pole.

*CROACK*

After the rope slashed, the iron pole is swinging from the pillar and swung toward Taken-Ki.

And, the iron pole smacking Taken-Ki body harshly until he's fallen into the ground.

*BOAK*

"GYAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRGGGGHHHHH!!!"

Taken-Ki body fallen into the ground harshly after smacked by this stupid trap. And then, I rushed to the ground and shouted at Joshua to throw some firecrackers at Taken-Ki.

"JOSHUA!!"

"On it!" He replied while jumped through the hiding spot and throwing some firecrackers at Taken-Ki. However, Taken-Ki responded by swinging his Greatsword and make another shock wave projectile with his Greatsword.

*SWONG*

Fortunately, Joshua evaded it in a lightning speed and did a payback by throwing one firecracker toward Taken-Ki's face. However, he throws it right at Taken-Ki's red eye.

"Fire in the hole!"

After that, he drawing his gun from his right holster, point it at the firecracker that's about to hit Taken-Ki's face. And then, shoot it.

*BANG*

His bullet hit the firecracker. And it exploded right on his face.

*BOOOOM*

"GYAAAAAAK! YOU FOOL!!!" Taken-Ki growled in anger after Joshua provoked him further.

"Heh, don't let your guard down!" Said Joshua mockingly while spun his dual guns. And then, he rapid firing Taken-Ki body while throwing several of his fireworks.

*DADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADA*

*BOOM*

*BOOM*

*BOOM*

Despite keep fired by Joshua with an armor piercing round and thrown by his fireworks, Taken-Ki's enraged and rushed toward Joshua by doing an overhead slash.

"HIYAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH" Unfortunately, Taken-Ki doesn't notice that the swinging pole trap in front of him is about to hit his head.

"Watch your head!" I said to Taken-Ki mockingly, from above this pillar after I cut the swinging pole rope.

And then, Joshua ducked, evaded from getting slashed and whacked by the swinging pole.

*BONK*

"GYAAAAAAKKKKKK!!!!!" Taken-Ki body rolled into the ground. However, he stabbed his Greatsword to stop his body from rolling further.

After that, I jumped to the ground from the pillar and analyzing Taken-Ki damage rate through my smart eyes.

"I think we're dealing 62% damage toward that Infectoid," I said to Joshua.

"Whatever you do, keep whacking that guy until it reaches the critical level!" He said while spun his dual guns.

The reason for that is Taken-Ki has a thick armor. So, doing a convenient close combat against that Infectoid is like getting hit by our stone that bounced through the wall. The best way to fight against that Infectoid is whacking him with a harder object around me to break his thick armor easily.

And lastly, we'll finish him up by exploding a ton of firecrackers that'll burn down his inner frames after his thick armor critically damaged because of a massive impact from my swinging iron pole.

As the old saying goes: "I use a harder stone to break a stone,"

I'm grappling one of the iron pole with my Claws, clenching the iron pole with my hands. And about to fight against Taken-Ki again by whacking him with this iron pole.

"I... will... not lose... against... the pathetic... Authonoids... like you!" He said while looking down for a second.

After that, he looked at us with a threatening glare and growled.

"You... Authonoids... MUST... DIE!!! HYAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!"

*WOOOSH*

Taken-Ki dashed in a lightning speed and was about to slash us in a split second.

"Come on, come get some!" I replied to him sardonically by dashing toward him.

"HIIIYAAAAAAGGGHHHHHHHH!!!"

*SWOSH*

He misses his Greatsword swing because I ducked. And then I countered him by smacking his right waist with my iron pole.

"HOW ABOUT THIS?!" I said to him.

*BONK BONK BONK BONK*

"GYAAK!!! GYAAAK!!! GYAAAAARRRGGGHHH!!! YOU BASTARD!!!" Taken-Ki shouted in pain after he's whacked by my iron pole 4 times.

However, he doesn't back down and is so desperate to do a payback.

"DIEEEEEEEE!!!!" He growled. And then he did an overhead slash.

"Your turn, Joshua!" I said to Joshua while evading Taken-Ki's slash to the left in a lightning speed.

*BSRYAK*

"On it!" He replied while drawing his dual guns and rapid firing Taken-Ki's back.

*DADADADADADADADADADADADADA*

*DRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRD*

*BAM*

Luckily, he didn't even notice Joshua shooting his back and focusing on fighting against in front of him.

"I… will… make… you… PAY!!! From… what you've done… to MY MASTER!!! HYAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!" He growled while swinging his Greatsword toward my left. However, I parried it with an iron pole.

*JSHING JSHING JSHING JSHING JSHING*

Unfortunately, he slashed my iron pole into pieces after he swung his Greatsword toward my right side.

*JSLOSH*

I retreated by grappling myself into the pillar from above to avoiding his attack.

*Chuuit*

After I landed on the pillar from above, I shoot him with my Kiryu 3 times.

*BANG BANG BANG*

Unfortunately, it runs out an ammo.

*Chick chick chick*

I was frustrated and reloaded it quick before he's attacking me in a split second.

"Too bad!" Taken-Ki said while swinging his Greatsword to make another shock wave projectile like before, right into my direction.

*BWOSH*

I evaded it while reloading my Kiryu. But, he slashed the pillar into pieces and I'm almost fallen to the ground from pillar and ended up killed by that gruesome Infectoid.

*JSLING*

Luckily, I landed on to the ground safely by doing a front flip and dashed around him while shooting him.

*BANG BANG BANG*

And then, I attacked him from behind quickly when he turned back slowly.

*JSHING JSHING JSHING JSHING*

"Kill... kill... KILL... AUTHONOIDS!!!" He growled while swinging his Greatsword, trying to slash me. However, I did a dodge and attack move several times to confuse him further.

When I've slightly run out of breath and he's about to do an overhead slash to end my life. I said to him.

"Watch your back!"

He failed to notice that Joshua was setting up the trap when he's distracted on fighting against me. And the trap is the firecrackers we've set on before burning down his inner frames after his armor critically damaged.

Suddenly, Joshua throwing several firecrackers in his back, and then he shoots it.

*BANG BANG BANG*

*BOOM BOOM BOOM*

"DON'T... MOCK... ME, YOU FILTHY AUTHONOIDS!!!" He growled and enraged further because Joshua provoked him further.

Joshua smirked sinisterly, squinted his eyes, and rapid fire at Taken-Ki with his dual guns while doing a side flip left to right.

*DADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADA*

*DADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADA*

Getting provoked, he charged in a lightning speed toward Joshua and was about to charge attack him.

*WOOOOOSH*

Unfortunately, Joshua evaded his charge attack quickly. And that causes him to smack his body into the large crate full of firecrackers.

*BURYAK*

He broke the large crate into pieces, and buried his body inside the pile of firecrackers.

*BROK BROK BROK BROK BROK BROK BROK*

And that gave us a last chance to do a finishing move.

"Fire in the hole..." Joshua said while throwing his last firecracker into the pile of firecrackers that's buried Taken-Ki's body.

Suddenly, Taken-Ki getting up and growled while walking out from the pile of firecrackers.

"YOU... SHALT... PAY... FROM-"

Unfortunately, Joshua already pointed his gun at one of the firecracker between the piles, and did a charge shot.

*Chuuuuuuuuiiiiiiiiit*

"Heh, bingo!"

After that, he shoot down his gun. And it created an enormous explosion where we had to take cover.

*KABAM*

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOOM*

The enormous explosion sound inside this warehouse echo through this entire abandoned factory. Despite that, we've defeated that 'Bulky' Infectoid.

Although his body was shrouded in flames and critically damaged, he's still desperate to kill us while walking in front of us, limped. And then, he said while his voice box buzzed because of the damage.

"YOU *bzzzt* SHALT *bzzzt* PAY *bzzzt* FROM-"

Wasting no seconds, I dashed and end his life by stabbing his face with my Axe-mode Nakajima.

*JSHICK*

And then, his body dropped into the ground, together with his slightly broken Greatsword.

*BRYAK*

*CLONK CLANK CLANK*

After that, I took off my Axe-mode Nakajima from his face, and transform it back into the normal sword mode.

*SHICK*

It felt relieving as hell after we've encountered and killed this Infectoid like breaking a toothpick. Although we've successfully killed this Infectoid, we have to extract his soul system, black box, and his core to halt his regeneration.

However, that doesn't mean I killed this Infectoid entirely. Because, I've ever encountered an Infectoid that's revived by itself even though the core, soul system, and the black box have taken out from its body.

And what's intriguing to me is about his master that he's always yelling at. And I wanted to know his backstory after both of us extracted his systems.

Who knows? Because anything goes by, and I have a right to know.
