(S1) Chapter 3 – Confrontation

It took a few, but powerful kicks to knock the gate down. The entire lobby was in shambles. Torn books were all scattered around the floor, with some mechanical robot parts on the floor, as well. Haywin’s only choice to get to the top would be through taking the stairs.

*Bang!*

She nearly avoided a gun shot aimed straighter for her head, from upside. It was the perpetrator.

“Damnit! Just die, you scum!”

He continuously shot his guns until they were out of ammo, Haywin took her chance to counter by shooting a couple of shots back whilst covering herself with a broken piece of metal that was laying around the floor.

The man ran back upstairs, but Haywin would not let him. The man turned his back and ran at his fastest towards the summit of the place, it was already half-destroyed. You could see the outside sky from inside of it.

She continued to shoot her gun to apprehend the man, but he narrowly avoided them, whilst shooting back while he was running. The shots did not go anywhere, but he did so anyways because he felt extremely anxious.

*BOOM!*

A gigantic robot that was armed with installed guns slammed its gigantic arm from the opening into the Tower, its arm penetrated the entire building, blocking Haywin’s view of her target.

She used the arm to climb towards the summit, however, this was noticed by the robot itself. With great speed in lunched its arm back into the air, taking Haywin with it, sending her flying high into the sky. Where she could nearly see her target safely entering the robot through its chest part.

The robot attempted to go for a powerful swing, it took Haywin, but she escaped from its grasp and ran at high speed towards the robot’s chest from its arm, her blades ready for any conflict, she ran with confidence.

One of the arms the robot was armed with was an installed Great Sword, it brought it upon itself, Haywin, upon noticing jumped off its arm. She saw another man standing on its shoulders, dressed in a white cloak.

“In the name of The Founder, we shall bring execution to Helmvel. You scum know nothing, nothing!”

The robot slashed its sword onwards Haywin, who stood still in shock, she reacted right when the gigantic sword was about to hit her. Firmly standing her ground as she withstood the tremendous pressure.

“Urgh…”

She slashed off the sword and jumped on its arm, this time, going for the man that stood on its shoulder...
