How it all started

Shiro was a diligent Japanese programmer who was going back home late from the office one night. He was unfortunate enough to fall prey to a tragic accident that night. He woke up in an entirely different world, reincarnated as the third son of the royal family into the Kingdom of Helmab. Keibetsu was the name he received there, and soon he found out that life was not going to be so easy in this world.

Keibetsu has always been shunned and hated by his brothers and parents since young. Being of a royal status, he felt himself to be the least in magical ability and skills with a sword. As the weakest among the brothers, he was often ridiculed and scorned due to the greater achievements that his brothers obtained.

Matters came to a head one day when the king summoned him. The cruel hand of fate had Keibetsu exiled from the kingdom, branded as a failure. Alone and forlorn, he wandered the wilderness until he was discovered by a mysterious figure known as Merlin.

Merlin was one of those wise and powerful people who saw something in Keibetsu and he decided to take him under his wing. While Keibetsu started training and perfecting his skills, he gradually began to unlock the true depth of his magical abilities. Under the tutelage of Merlin, he was cast onto a journey of self-discovery and vengeance: to rise from the ashes of his past and take back his rightful place within this world.
