The Jindaiji Temple Daruma Doll Fair is an annual festival held in the early spring time that is said to have started over four centuries ago. Patrons come from all around to purchase round red painted dolls known as Darumas and have them blessed by temple monks in hopes that a wish they make will come true the following year they return. Unfortunately for one tourist, who happens to like alcohol a little too much, he's about to experience some misfortune thanks to the doll he received the year prior.
