Ascendance

On April 1st, 2033, the release of the DC Max a VR headset and its first game a VRMMORPG called Ascendance, marks the beginning of the Full Virtual Reality age. Where people can truly be transported to new worlds. Immediately both the headset and game sold out around the world. People are desperate to experience something new, beautiful and exciting. As release day drags on, however, it becomes clear all they will experience is horror, fear and pain. As players become trapped in the new virtual world of Ascendance, their only means of escape is to beat the game. But that simple-sounding goal becomes a lot more complex as the players dig deeper and start to piece together the truth.
