Anesidora's Box

What are people willing to do in the pursuit of knowledge? That is a question that genetically-engineered catgirl Anesidora "Dora" Schrödinger ponders as she sits in the darkness of an opaque metal box. In such a state, wherein Dora cannot be observed by the outside world, is it fair to say that the catgirl is simultaneously both dead and alive at the same time?

Wrote this story as part of a contest. Definitely not as good as the other novel that I wrote as part of a contest, LOL.
