Lights Out on Christmas Day

The new year has the folk of Bauble Lane unfurling tapestries and jolly carols to sing. But jubilations like these are for merry folk, and Harolde is as unmerry as unmerry can be. Lights mean the day has yet to settle — yet this time of celebration is proving unbearingly onerous for the overworked elf.

{I wish I would close my eyes and the world come to rest.}

As ev'ning draws near and just a few lights are dimmed, we remember the season of wishes and giving. This year, as it always has, will be no different. What would Harolde do to have his perfect Christmas?
