With no memory of his life beforehand, Xess finds himself locked in a facility where he must participate in the dreaded Hunts of the Hollows; a series of "hunts" where he needs to search and kill off his prey: captured criminals sentenced to death.

It is from this point on that Xess is forced into a cruel path, in which he bears witness to the true nature of both humanity... and his own.
