In a post-apocalyptic dystopia, sixteen teenagers wake up at a campsite with no memory of who they are, where they are, or why they are there. Shortly after waking up, they all work together to solve a riddle, and the deciphered code reads out: 'Only One Can Remain' ... and then they hear a scream. Forced to work together to survive, they slowly grow at ends with each other as tensions rise and relationships strain, as they all know in the back of their minds that only one of them will come out of this experience alive. With the story shrouded in mystery, questions begin to surface... Is there a way that we can all live? What are these crystal shards? How do some people have powers? Why are we truly here? Who's our real enemy??
With the cast being pushed to the breaking point as their time slowly ticks away, will they be able to work together, solve the clues and find the answers to all these questions and survive? Or will it be too late...
Hello everybody, hope you are all doing well! I've been planning this story out for almost two years now and I'm so happy I finally got to this stage of the (publishing, at least that's the goal) process. My story, 'Horizon's Calling', is inspired by some of my favorite works and shows being: Attack on Titan Manga, The Hunger Games Trilogy, The Maze Runner Trilogy, The Promised Neverland Manga, and lastly the hit reality American TV show and series, Survivor.
I have really high aspirations of making this story into a manga, LN, or comic someday. And I truly hope that my story will reach out and connect with all sorts of people from all over the world one day, just like some of the greats. But for now, this website is a great place to get started and I'm looking forward to getting feedback from all of you.
Thank you all so much for the opportunity and I hope you all enjoy reading Horizon's Calling
