UPDATE 2: If anyone's wondering why I'm not participating in this year's contest, there are a multitude of reasons, the biggest of which is that I'm currently recovering from a life-changing operation and am finally able to live my life (relatively) stress-free. The last thing I need RN is the inevitable drama that the contest always brings with it.

Happy one-year-anniversary to The Gift That Keeps On Grieving! :D

...I *think* that this chapter is one of the weakest ones so far, although maybe I'm just not used to writing for Gift. It's been over half a year since the last chapter, and it's kinda hard for me to get into Merry's headspace after so long. ^^;

As for *why* it's taken so long to release new chapters, the simple answer is that I've been very busy this year. Hopefully, I'll be able to release more chapters next year, although I wouldn't hold my breath. On a more positive note, I'd say that Gift is about 50% completed, according to the (very rough) estimate in my head. So yeah, maybe I'll actually be able to finish it in another two years, LMFAO. 🤞

Finally finished! :D

Overall, Magical Knight Lune XY was a very nice, wholesome read. Love the romance between Daniel and Jack, and Red is always a delight whenever she shows up. :3

I'm not quite sure what you're referring to I'm afraid. Are you referring to when I —for example— do this? Looking over this chapter, I can't find any instance where I surrounded anything with two em dashes, although according to the internet (which admittedly isn't always the most reliable source), spaces between em dashes is purely optional.

"An em dash is usually written without spaces on either side, although some style guides do recommend using spaces. When in doubt, opt for no spaces, and make sure you’re consistent throughout your text, whatever you choose." - Some website, LOL
