Chapter 2: School is weird!

I still didn't understand what people called "school", how could something be so great and so bad at the same time? There are lots of things you can do at school and lots of things to eat in the cafeteria but strangely I don't understand anything the teachers teach me, it's not hard to understand math, literature or recipes but chemistry, physics and astronomy... they're fascinating but when I go to those classes the only thought that goes through my mind is "IT'S THE BIGGEST SIN TO DO MAGIC YOU HERETIC" but thanks to Masayuki I learned that it's not magic, I guess it's science... weird. Oh but if science can do that, then I can go back to my own world through science, right? It should be possible! I immediately asked Masayuki "Masayuki well if I want to fully investigate the world what science should I use?" he stared at me, probably thinking "what the hell is using science?" but he answered calmly "Well, I think it should be physics, but if you want to explore outside the world, you can study astronomy."Surprised, I asked "What? There is something outside the world?"."Well what did you expect? That everything outside the world is dark?""Wasn't it?!"I think I had found a logical answer to all my questions. Yes, me... I fell down from my world and landed on this world and my body magically became humanoid! (A few weeks later I learned that there is no gravity in space)After that I asked my father to buy me a physics book and he did. I read the book, it was full of interesting things and I loved it and from that day on I started reading physics books every day and everywhere and of course I was made fun of as a nerd in class but Masayuki told me not to mind. Oh and my mom took me to a psychologist because I started throwing things on the ground since I learned about gravity and they said I was fine. My mom is still worried though and I told her not to worry, but it didn't help much because the next day I learned about Schrodinger's law and I put poison in a box and tried to put the cat in it and then I realized that there is such a thing as animal rights in this world, which I still don't really understand, but if animals have rights, why do we eat meat for dinner? My dad told me not to question too much and I turned to him and said, "but according to physics we have to question everything." I said, and he said, "Then question whether you should question things or not." I'm still confused about it, but it's okay, I don't need to know everything. I guess?

Anyway, but the real problem was at school, they were mean to me for no reason, I tried to stand up to them but for the first time I couldn't... I guess I was scared... How did that happen? Normally I'm not afraid of anyone, but this was different, I really felt a great fear inside me, as if I would never find the strength to stand up again if I resisted... Had becoming human really made me so weak? While I was drowning in my thoughts, Masayuki came and got in front of them and got into a big fight with them and I felt a sense of hope and I helped Masayuki. As a result... We both took a beating, but I think it was the most honorable beating I've ever taken. Masayuki looked a little upset, so I turned to him and asked:

"Is something wrong?"

He looked at me and said, "No, no, no, I just feel bad that I couldn't protect you and I got beaten in front of you."

"What? You don't have to feel bad about that, you stood up to them like an honorable warrior and stood up to them like a loyal knight should."

Masayuki started laughing "You're funny when you're serious Airi I love that about you"

I blushed slightly, what did that mean? Is he hitting on me? I don't want to break his heart, but he's too young for an old woman like me, not in this body, but I haven't lost my soul. Anyway, why do I think about such small things? Ugh, I'm such an idiot. I have to go home, I've experienced enough today (I wonder what it would be like if I jumped off the balcony and gravity suddenly stopped).
