Negotiation

Grant, Liam and the elderly man arrive at the ChumZ restaurant. "I wish you luck on your task." Said the elderly man as he opens the door for the brothers. Liam leaves the car first and when Grant leaves the car, he stared at the elderly man with lifeless eyes, the reason for this is unclear. Grant closes the vehicle door behind him.

The Geminus brothers watched as the car drives away. They later walk inside the restaurant, finding it deserted with even the workers not visible. They look across and find a man, at the far back. He doesn't make eye contact with the brothers, his eyes locked on a photo that was in his hand.

Grant and Liam walk up to the man, Grant saying "Mr. Morrow?"

The man looks up at the brothers, placing the photo in his pocket, and answers, "Yes, and you must be Liam Geminus." He offers Liam his hand to shake. Liam shakes Jason's hand. "And you... must be the great Grant Geminus; it is an honour to meet ou." He offers Grant his hand to shake, which Grant does shake his hand. "I must say that this is a fortunate opportunity to be meeting the Geminus Twins. I have heard a lot about you."

"Really?" said Grant. "Well it's always nice to recieve some recognition from time to time, don't you agree Liam?"

Liam answers "I've got nothing to say about that."

"Of course you don't, anyway, what did you call us here for?" Said Grant, wanting to get to the job that Jason wanted them for.

"Yes, well... You've heard about the recent incident regarding my father..." Jason struggles as what he is about to say sounds personal and heartbreaking for him to speak about. "Those allegations regarding my father having cheated on my mother and him abusing me as a child are completely false... But the news media outlet don't care as..."

"Isn't the news media outlet run by Pelias Troyer?" Asked Liam.

Jason answered "Thats correct and to make it worse, the man in charge is my uncle, Pelias."

Grant looks at Liam and asks "Didn't your pops say that Pelias was running for mayor or prime minister or something like that?'

"Yeah, thats right." Answered Liam "But dad said that Pelias had no chance as many people disliked the ideas that he wanted to impliment across England."

"That is correct and its highly likely that he was responsible for making false allegations but the reason why I have yet to find solid proof of this and to make matters worse, he's got the police beside him, so... This is why I need your help, I need to find some evidence but I cannot do so with the police snooping into my crews investigation." Said Jason.

The brothers look at each, deciding whether it is worth going along with Jason's request. Grant asks "What happens then?"

Jason puzzled, asks "What do you mean?"

Grant answers "What happens after you take your uncle down? What happens then? How do we know that you're no better?"

Jason answers with passion "Because I care for those that reside in England, even the ones that don't appreciate people like me..."

He pauses, having a sudden flashback of something tragic, he snaps out of it and continues. "When my mother and father brought me here to England, they worked hard to provide a safe and happy life and I could see in their eyes that despite the issues they faced... They never gave up... My father always taught that there was always something worth living..."

Jason begins to tear up "My father is at the hospital now because he couldn't the verbal abuse from others, he worked hard and no matter the issues, he wanted to offer hope to others! Sorry..."

Jason wipes his tears. "I know that you may not trust me yet... But please let me earn that trust, thats all I ask."

Liam looks at Grant with a sympathetic look with Grant looking back at him with the same expression. Grant stands up and offers Jason his hand to shake. "We'll do it." Said Grant. He felt a sense of joy as he saw Jason shaking his hand with the same joy and with hope.

"Thank you! I will in contact with you soon. Thank you so, so, SO much!" Jason wiped his tears away and left the restaurant with a smile on his face.

Liam and Grant get up from their seat and leave the restaurant.

Liam asks "So... Where should we go?"

Grant answers "Home?"

Liam nods his head to agree and the brothers walk away from the restaurant and go home.
