different feeling

Ilya shocked when Tanya fell on her. She tried to communicate with Tanya

“Tanya…”

“Tanya, what happened”

“Tanya!” Ilya shouted

Ilya moved Tanya here and there, It is a way to wake up someone I assume. Ilya is about to get panicked, but Tanya slowly opened her eyes, her face is looking pale and she looks tired. It seemed Tanya is opening her eyes forcibly. Ilya relieved that Tanya is okay

Ilya quickly stood up and hold Tanya’s hand and said to her

“Tanya, get up”

“lets go to the infirmary”

Tanya is in the tiring mode, she is mumbling something, when Ilya taking her to the infirmary. I really don’t know how to react to it. Tanya is usually the silent one but I never expected to see her collapse like this. Ilya rushed Tanya, it felt like all this happened in seconds. Wait a minute now it is only me and Mira here right. I turned towards Mira, just to see what she is doing. Mira is just eating her lunch slowly, she is looking at the view infront of her and slowly chewing the food, she may be thinking about something, not even a single reaction for what happened here. It is kinda weird if you ask me. I turned away from her and I saw Ilya and Tanya lunch boxes are left there, they are not even closed, I closed lunch box lids, I think I may deliver these to them, what a pain work for me. I moved Ilya and Tanya lunchbox to make sure I will not forget when I will move from here. I started at the view and was about to resume to eat my lunch by Mira suddenly started a talk with me.

“So, what is the thing of you and Ilya”

“Well, we are friends… I would say”, her face felt serious than before

“don’t you feel lucky, you got two girlfri… I mean female friends”

“I don’t, I always find myself in hard situations”

“Why can’t you just break that and just be yourself”

“I don’t think I can do it, I know them for a long time, I simply can’t leave them”

“I see…”

“What about you Mira, any friends here or in your home town”

“May be a few in my hometown, but I am not in contact with them though”

“Can I know why”

“I want to start everything fresh again, so that I can reach my goal”

“That’s a great motivation you got I say”

Mira looked at me with a small smile. That smile is a very new kind of one I saw, I never seen it before, it is filled with some sense of acknowledgement and a very little eerie feeling looking at her face, on the top of that the wind that just blown moved her hair, that just gave an extra stuff to the entire thing. I Observed Mira completed her entire lunch. I looked at mine, there is still some left, I started eating it. Mira stood and started walking away from there, I just ignored her because I thought she will be going to the class anyways as her lunch is completed. While walking Mira mumbled something for some reason I was able to hear it completely.

“It is sometimes better not to get attached to someone”

I don’t know how to react or reply to her sentence. I didn’t catch her intention on what she really wanna imply. Did she intentionally mumbled louder so that I can hear her or she mumbled out loud mistakenly I don’t know, but I am feeling odd with Mira. The wind suddenly intensified I thought I could peek into her skirt as wind was enough, but I was unable to do it. I am just looking at the view from here. Mira also left from there, I am alone on the rooftop. After a while I was able to complete my lunch. When I was about to stand something touched me from beside, I looked at there to see what are those, they are Tanya and Ilya lunchboxes. I took a hold of them with me and left the rooftops and entered the steps.

I thought of going directly to the infirmary first but I dropped that idea. I think I first do somethings these lunch boxes. So I decided to go to the classroom first. After some walk I reached the classroom. Most of the students are still eating lunch, some are chitchatting. Class isn’t that full though I think everyone got their special places for lunch time. I simply went to my place and placed my box in my bag. I thought it is better to put Tanya and Ilya lunch box in Ilya box, as Tanya seat beside my seat. Okay I completed it, I think it’s time to go to infirmary. When I was about to turn around I saw Mira at her seat. She observed me and lifted her hand slightly and said “yoo” and made a little smile, but I did not felt strange like before. I replied to her in the same way and I walked out of the classroom.

I am now in the hallway, it is pretty much empty. It might be due to lunch period, I saw one or two students on my way though. I quickly reached the steps and walked to the ground floor, where infirmary supposed to be. Even though it is the school I always used to go, I kinda felt lost while finding the infirmary here. At last after some hardwork I reached near to infirmary. I saw Ilya from a distance. She also saw me, and turned towards me. I reached her and started enquiring about the situation.

“Well, how is the situation now”

“Tanya is talking with the nurse”

“For how much time, lot of time passed since then I thought”

“Yeah, nurse gave some stuff and they are talking from then”

“It is strange, isn’t it?”

I went near to infirmary door to take a look what is happening inside it, unlike other doors infirmary doors hear have a small glass window type things with which others can see the main nurse sitting area. I take a look inside the infirmary through that window. I can see the main nurse from here, she is talking with someone who sat infront of her. Nurse is talking with Tanya, I can identify her from backside. It seems they are in a serious talk. I don’t think It is a better idea to get in between them. I took some steps back to get back to Ilya. All this time Ilya is seeing me what I am doing. Ilya started to talk with me

“so any clues?”

“not much, it seems they are in a serious discussion”

“haa that would be pain to get lecture from nurse”

“I can’t deny that”

As we are talking like that, Tanya came out of the infirmary, she still has that sleepy look on her face. Tanya is just looking at us, with her sleepy face. Ilya is about to ask her about the situation but for some reason this time I want to talk with Tanya. So I asked her before Ilya could ask her.

“How are you feeling now, Tanya”

“O.. Okay… now”

“I think you might need some rest, I can say from seeing your face”

“I don’t think so, I can manage it”

“Oookay, but be careful of your health”

I made a small smile at the end. Tanya did not gave any one in return but she just looked at my face with her blank face. I think it was not much good idea to do it like that. At this time Ilya rushed at Tanya and hold her by clinging to her shoulders. Ilya might have became tensed with the Tanya situation. I can say from looking at Ilya, she can’t hide from me anyways. Now Tanya made a small smile when Ilya hugged her. I just find this moment very wholesome. I reminded them that they did not complete their lunch, if they make late the bell will ring.

Ilya and Tanya rushed towards the class. I followed them with all my strength, catching upto them is hard for me. After some time, we reached the classroom. I took my place, Ilya and Tanya seated I said to Ilya that I put the both boxes in her bag. Ilya handed the Tanya box to her and She took her and started eating it. I am just sitting there doing nothing. As I was watching through the class my eyes naturally went towards Mira, she is just enjoying the view from her window seat I would say or she is thinking about something. I thought as I was bored lets just talk with her. But Ilya asked me something.

“any plans after school today”

“umm not much though” I felt I am forgetting something saying this.

“so no plans huh”

“haa, do you need anything from me”

“not much, we will go to home together just as everyday”

“oookay”

Our classes completed, nothing much special just the usual classes. I decided to pack up my things and Ilya also packed up her things. I observed Tanya, it seems she also completed the packing stuff, I think its time to go. I followed Ilya and in between the students Tanya joined behind me. We were able to move freely after entering into the hallway. Ilya and Tanya are doing the regular talk. I am just walking beside them giving them company or being a third wheel, you can think of anything. We finally reached out of the class in the crowd of students now I am feeling fresh. After a while we parted our ways and now I am walking alone in this empty alone street. Suddenly I heard some voice

“I think you are forgetting something”

The voice felt unfamiliar and mysterious, I turned around to see who it is, it is Ilya. She saw that I looked at her and she made a smile, but not the ordinary it gave me eerie and strange feeling like the one she made at school rooftop.
