Chapter 9: The curtain rises on the finale

Back above Rome, the crowd watching the game worldwide were cheering loudly.

 It was an all out battle royale of 7 people.Everyone was about even with each other and trading blows for blows.The first to break the stalemate was Regulus who activated his lion's roar ability and destoryed rover.Rovers entire body, which was made out of Ronove, whom Reinhard could not even scratch when they fought, was destoryed by Regulus in one blow. Regulus was surprised Rover was destoryed so quickly. Sure his punch was powerful but he knew that it still shouldn't have been able to blown up a high tech android so easily.Reinhard who was trading blows with Rilim took this chance to launch a lightning sonic wave from his sword at regulus.Regulus could not dodge in time and got hit with the wave, leaving a deep wound on his left arm. Next to break the stalemate was Rubert who took the chance to launch Drei Luft at Reinhard who deflected all the blow but in doing so, left an opening for Rilim.Rilim then commanded gyna to munch down on Reinhard, completely biting off his non dominant left arm. Roxy then followed up with a storm of fire arrow she had launched Abit earlier, with fire arrows now raining down on Richard. Richard, who looked like he didn't move at all managed to shoot down all the arrows.In just this short 2 minutes, one contestant had already fallen while one lost an arm.

While everyone was preparing for the next round of exchnage, a playful laugh can be heard over the speakers flying over their heads.Across the world too, TVs playing the games were being hijacked and their screen was changed to just show a young girl.It was Rose. She then told everyone they weren't seeing things.She has hijacked the sacred games to bring everyone a special news, as of this moment she declares the rule of the Russo's over. Almost on cue, the screen then cuts to the room where all the stakeholder were holding their meeting, the audience started to panic as they saw what was on the screen.All the stakeholders were dead with only one survivor, Rudolf who was currently held captive by a mysterious hooded figure.Rose then declares herself the new empress and the screen then cuts to another location.At this location, one could see an entire army of robots. There was no end to the number of robots, there were hundreds maybe even thousands of them.All of them looked like Rover who had recently been destoryed.

Rose then started to make her intent of this hijacking clear, she wants 3 thing.First, Richard is to be killed on sight by anyone, he was not to live.Two, all countries surrender their leadership to Rose and her army.Three, hand over the Mother Stone.The 3rd annoucement was what made everyone surprised, as they have never heard of this mother stone.As she finishes her annoucement, the 6 remaining participants who had their eyes on the screen, were now seeing that they were surrounded by a huge army of robots.As everyone ponders their next move, the first to react was Rilim who immediately ran away with Regyna through a small opening, leaving her new partner Regulus behind.The next to move was unexpectedly Rubert, who dropped his weapon and raised his arm.He was surrending to the army and asked to meet his granddaughter to find out what on earth is going on.Regulus and Roxy were panicking while Reinhard, who was still bleeding servely kept trying to get up.He was gonna help his master Richard escape, even if it killed him. Richard then told him to stand down, and took out a mysterious rock from his pocket.The rock looked like Ronove but was not black, in fact it was shining bright platinum.The rock then shined and in the next moment, all the robots were gone. The only person who would know what had happened was Rilim who was already gone from the scene.Roxy then took this chance to immediately fly away on her jet, but not before she grabbed Regulus.Despite his protest, he was still Abit too weak from lion's roar to object and just let himself be taken away.Reinhard then finally collapsed from a lack of blood.Richard then carries Reinhard and placed him on the back of his bike.He then started to follow in Rilims direction but not before Rubert stopped him.He pleaded with Richard to allow him to follow Richard.Richard however, just knocked him out with a quick hand chop to his neck.

We cut to Rilim on Regyna and she's riding as fast as she could.Rilim thinks back to the old days, how Rose was always sickly but was the kindest girl from the orphanage.She was never one for violence or any large scheme.Even when she had explained her own plan to Rose, about how she wanted to destroy the Russo, Rose wanted no part in it.However Rilim then remembered that at some point during the 7 year planning when she had stayed with Rose. Rose had changed one day all of a sudden, she was no longer sickly and was more emotional.She easily agreed with Rilims plan and convinced her three followers to follow and help Rilim.Looking back on it, there was a ton of red flags but Rilim was too deep into her revenge and let it cloud her judgement.She then felt she was responsible for this change somehow and she's gonna stop her friend.Back at the underground bunker, Rudolf who was tied up still tried to make small talk with his captors. He asked what was their goal.The hooded figure, then took off his hood and Rudolf who saw his face was shocked.
It was a striking mirror image to Rover, the robot who was just destoryed.What's more, he then declares that mankind arrogance will be what lead to their doom.The were the force who would wipe out humanity for their transgression.When Rudolf asked what transgression, the figure just responded with, the day you guys landed on the moon.
