The preparation in the Center Hall for a huge attack was on the go, everyone kept calm and collected without any fear. This was the first time Hailey and Helen felt very welcome in a community for the longest time they could remember.

Hailey said, "Hey, you guys pretty chill here. How come you all be so calm?", to Collen.
Collen answered calmly, "We simply don't."
Hailey confused and asked, "What? What is that supposed to mean?"
Collen looked at Hailey and said, "Huh? Didn't you walk here yesterday with Fillian? There is no way she never told you about this."
Then Hailey got a little jolt and said, "Ow. I'm sorry. I didn't piece that one together."

Two more days, huh? Thought Hailey while figuring out the machinery in front of her. I still can't believe he convinced me to do this. How did that even happen?

*Flashback*
"Huh?" Hailey stood there shocked at what Makori asked her to do.
"I need you to figure out those chips, with your daughter. How does it work, or what it can do is not in my knowledge. That's Kyle's design, I don't know all about it before you and your daughter test it out."
*End Of Flashback*

Why, oh why am I the one suffering? It's like my own life is not miserable enough, he put me in line for this kind of thing.
"If you are already here, you've screwed anyway", the statement from Collen made Hailey confused.
"What... what do you mean by that?"
Then Collen looked at Hailey with a serious face, "Din't you know already?"
"No," Hailey answered with a straight face, "What is it?"
"Upward above us! You don't know whose place was this?"
"I never thought of that, I thought this was just a big building of a hotel or something."
"It's Makori's family's lab."

Hailey went silent for a moment before saying, "We... are... below... what?"
"Makori's family's lab. This is his family bunker. They called it Center Hall because it's literally in the middle of District 7."
Hailey was speechless and said, "I... lost for words."
"Thankfully, this place never got swarmed by robots before because this place was prohibited by all human and robot kind."
Hailey remained silent, so Collen continued, "That's why if we can get rid of these robots in two days, we will be fine."

Hailey's mind wandered off and just thought about it, "Wait! Hold on! If this place is prohibited, then they need paperwork so they can search this place, right? When they can go down here then..."
Collen completed Hailey's statement, "This place would not be our safe place anymore."

Hailey became pale for a second and said, "Shit! Couldn't this day get any worse?"
Collen replied, "I wouldn't said that if I were you."

Meanwhile at Gerald's Van
"Makori!" Leonard called Makori that doing some engineering outside from inside the van.
"Yeah, what is it?" He stopped from his work to respond to Leonard.
"We have made the code you order."
"Ah, brilliant. Thanks, Leonard", Makori stood up and rushed straight to the van.

Gerald responded to Makori's rushed, "No, running in the van, man. Stop that!"
Makori just simply apologized while doing a sorry pose, "Ah, sorry."
Leonard then showed Makori his laptop, "Here, this is the code that I extracted from the gems earlier this morning. We can mass-produce that helmet now."
Makori answered, "Nice. I'll be taking over from here. You guys can go ahead and code another machine."

Gerald was curious as to why Makori always felt fired up whenever he asked for these tasks so he finally asked Makori, "Hey dude, aren't you sick?"
Makori was stunned by the question, "Huh? What was that?"
"I mean you created those robots and now you had to destroy them, with your other creation. Aren't you sick?"
Makori answered with trenchant, "You kidding? Of course, I'm sick!"
Gerald was surprised by Makori's answer but then Makori continued, "I hate that I had to destroy my creation. They literally my baby and I had to basically kill them. Isn't that sicko?", and made Gerald disappointed.
Leonard then intervened, "What was that all about, Gee?"
Gerald answered, "Nothing. Forget about it."

20.00 (08.00 PM)
Everyone gathered inside the Center Hall, even other residents who lived around the District's sewer to listen to Makori's speech.
Makori asked Gerald who is behind a man-made stage that has just been built, "Is everyone here already?"
"Just as you wished, Macky", Leonard answered with a thumbs up instead of Gerald.
But Gerald still replied, "Yeah, we're ready."

Stood up straight before the stage, Makori took a deep breath. Then when he came up to the stage he said, "Okay, everyone. Listen up;
Thanks for coming today on such a short notice. I know not all of you know what going on but this is an important matter and I would like to talk about it in front of you guys."
Everyone murmured around the crowd.
"Before I explained what's going on. I would love to say this again and again. Thanks for your continued support of my ridiculous plan to put down my creation. I always felt pressure run down in my veins but because of you guys, I still stand here and help many of you guys. As well as sharing my gifted "power" with all of you."
Everyone was pleased and eager to hear the announcement now.
"So, onto the main announcement...
I told you 3 hours ago to upgrade everything around the district sewer, whether it's a defensive or offensive machine. Well, I'm sorry to announce that in roughly two days we're going to get swarmed by SWAT robots.

After hearing that, everyone in the crowd was despaired and became loud. Makori was ready for this and said, "Calm down everyone, it's not that it will be an all-out war. You all know how to defeat these robots, so let's give them what we made off."
Not long after, everyone cheered and chanted Makori's name.
"You all won't be disappointed. I swear to my ancestors that I put all into protecting you. I know I have done wrong in the past but y'all still support me and help me get back on my feet. So, let me give back what I have to you. The robots will know my name, and they'll run in fear upon hearing my name. We are all going to destroy them all. Who's with me?"

And with that speech, everyone became hyped and readied to fight for what was about to come. Hailey, who saw Makori's speech, was stunted by how he could lead everyone in the district. But it also made her open her heart a bit for the guy.
"Maybe... I can trust him a little more."
