Chapter 4:
God's Guide to War
Walking down Hans sees the bunker deteriating before his eyes, from city became poverty, from poverty became slums, and slums turned into a complete wasteland. But weirdly enough, the people didn't seem to change their mood all across all the floors of the bunker. Maybe it was only because of all the drugs that were just laying around but they seemed just as happy as the people at the top.
The poverty, as Hans named it in his head, looke pretty much just like the city above, just more broken and dirty, cracks in the walls and the people seemed more dirty too.
The slums, that was where the real difference lied. No longer were there shops or any other kinds of buildings different than the giant apartments in the walls, and thoes were broken, pipes and wires running all around and through the buildings. The slums were weirdly wet everywhere Hans stepped, and the people, they looked sickly and were wearing torn misshaped clothes, not the uniforms that the others above them were wearing. Living both in the streets and in the apartments that look empty accept for the ocasional pipe.
The wasteland, or at least that was Hanses first thought when he saw it, was a concrete nightmare. But it was by far the most lived in out of all of the floors. It was such an unwelcoming enviroment but all the people that were there looked like it was home for them. It was just massive concrete in strange shape, it looked like it could crumble any minute. Broken pipes, steel beams and torn wires coming from the walls. Infcat everything down here looked broken, there were old machine parts, people living in cracks in the walls, makeshift stands and houses were here. At least unlike the slums it wasn't all wet in here. But there were shops again, farms and even entertainment, even if the most aperant one was gambling, just there in the streets, both adults and kids. It was a wasteland, miles under ground, but it was still somewhat cozy. It seemed that this floor was completly self suficiant, the world could end and all the floors above could crumble and these people wouldnt even notice.
But Hans continued down, the wet cramped halways, everything down here was weird and twisted pipes bending into strange shapes, he almost had to crawl. There were no signs of life anymore, no people not even a mold, but there was light, old and imperfect, but the lightbulbs did shine at least a little. The stairs seemed that they go down for miles, maybe they did. Why would god, or anyone for that matter, choose to live here? He couldnt even imagine what the "utility room" was if this was the way to it. The entier bunker got worse and worse the further down Hans went, so what could be at the bottom.
Finally, before him standing a door, a beat up metal sign on it "utility room". This was it, this was where this supposed go lived. He really hoped that after a way down this long the actual God, the one man he was looking for really was here. This journey couldnt be useless.
Hans opened the door. Immidetly bright lights and sounds of cheering went into his ears, the smell of burning cigars and whiskey hitting his nose. When his eyes got adjusted he realised, a casino? Full of people all the way down here. He went inside. But he got pushed out by someone, the door closes, he was again in the bottom of the bunker. In front of him a young woman holding the door shut.
She smelled like cigarettes and was shining in the bunker, her clothes were so different from anyone else he saw at the bunker, or since the begining of the war. It was a red jacket with some kind of chinese dragon on the back. Her pant were black, completly black, not a single spot was on them. She had a high pony tail from her hair that were between brown and orange. She still had half of a cigarette left in her mouth. Her blue eyes now looking at hans.
"What the hell are you doing? Didn't anyone tell you that you should knock first? And I had such a good hand, do you know how much I could have win?" She says a bit annoyed but not nearly as annoyed as she makes it sounds
"I'm ehhh... Looking for someone." Hans says still stunned by her bright colors
"For who? I'm the only one here. Are you looking for me or what? What do you want?"
"Only one? What about all thoes people?" Hans points at the utility room door
"There are no people." The girl say in a nonchalantely.
"But i just saw them."
"Nope, you didn't see anyone."
"Okay... Anyway I'm looking for God"
"That is a weird thing to just say but yeah that would be me."
"Yeah i got that but i wanted to ask do you maybe know where the real god is? I'm kinda looking for him."
"Okay, let's make it quick i gotta get back to the gane. I am god, like the real god, the creator. Got that? Now bye."
"Wait! You are god? But you're a woman."
"WOW really just WOW!"
"No, dont people just refer to you as the big man upstairs?"
"They can say whatever they want, as you can see i am not THE man, hell, i am not even A man. Now my question is why were you looking for god as if it was a person?"
"Well i found you so do i really need to explain?"
"Yes you do! You see, I get faith, i do understand why people believe in some kind of higher entity. What i dont get is why the hell did you think that God not only exists but is in a human form just living somewhere."
"Wait so you are God?"
"Yes! I already told you that. Now you tell me why did you think that finding a God in flesh and blood was a good idea and how the hell did you even get the idea that I exist?"
"I don't know, I kinda just knew? Maybe a divine intervention"
"dude" she just sighs "I AM divine intervention and i didn't tell you shit. So tell me why exacly did you seek me out?"
"I don't know, maybe i just hope that there is someone who can stop the war."
"Now why would i stop it? It's your war."
"Isnt god supposed to be good? Are you really God?"
"Yes i am."
"Prove it then."
"And why would i need to prove myself to you? I am God, if you dont believe it then i dont know, go find a different one."
"There are more gods!?" Hans exclaims, surprised.
"No, only me."
"You aren't God, i dont believe you. Where is God?"
"As i said, if you dont believe me then go find someone else, i am God and you can't change that."
"Okay okay, so you are god, i guess i just expected someone more... Godly? I dont know you dont seem like a god type."
"Why's that?"
"Just... Seems like it i guess."
F it, i give up, i have no idea how to write in words. Words are not enough for me, i'm to stupid to write something good. I hope at least someone wasted their time reading this.
