Chapter 3

"Ugh.. how long was I out?" John said as he woke up from his slumber

As he checked the time in the wallclock, it was already 7am. Where his mind felt a bit tired even though his body isnt, so he slept once more.

"John! Wake up!" Angel said, trying to wake john up

"Hahh.. mom, whats the time?" John said, just waking up

"Its now 8am! Its time for work!" Angel said

"Its still early mom." John said

"Its not early! Its late! Come on and get to bath already!" Angel said as she now tries to pull john from the bed

"Hahh.. fine.." john said as he finally got up from bed

After that, angel then goes down the house towards the store, since the family store is right below the house. As john gets some clothes for the bath, he remembers his mission and the conversation he had with the energy beings, also known as angels and gods. Though after hyawei gave him some power, he cant remember anything else, like the training he would eventually go through in that world.

"I remember everything now, though just how will I prove my own powers?" John said as he thought, after starting to bathe

As he checked the mirror, he could see that he has really slimmed down. It was also then that he got an idea, where after taking a bath, he then got a powerbank and a small LED light for circuits. But first, he locked the door. As he is also an IT guy, he still have some circuit parts left from his college days, inside his room. So after quickly wiping himself up with his towel, he got the power bank and LED, and used himself as a conductor to try to light it up. To his surprise, the LED lit, and it filled him with excitement to what he can really do. He also tried to light the LED without the powerbank, and it works!

"John, just what have you done now?" Angel said as she knocked the door

"What do you mean?" John said as he stopped the experiment

"The police are here searching for you!" Angel said

"What?! Why?" John said as he quickly puts on some clothes

"I dont know! They said its a matter of national security." Angel said being very worried

"Give me a sec, will be done soon." John said as he was almost done changing

After a few seconds, he was done changing to his home attire (which is a sleeveless shirt and pants), and gone down to the store to face the officers.

"Why do you seek me officers?" John said after coming down the stairs

The store wasnt yet opened by then, where the officers were at the kitchen, just waiting for him.

"John, just what did you do?" Tod storm, his father said

"I dont know! Why do you people ask the same question that I dont know the answer to?" John said

"Cause these officers also dont know why you were suddenly--" tod said before he was cut off

"Let me take over from here sir." The officer said as he touches his hand on tods shoulder. "Im officer brock magaan, and we are here to take you to the mayors office immediately."

"For what exactly?" John said being suspicious

"That, we also dont know. But we are instructed that we must bring you there alive no matter what, please do cooperate with us." Brock said

"Alright then, I will come. Though there is no need for any force, I just need to know." John said

"Can we come as well? As we are his parents after all." Tod said to john, as angel agrees

"Im not so sure if I can protect you guys if anything bad happens, so im against bringing you along with me." John said seriously

"Why? The officers have come for you in order for a peaceful talk right?" Angel said

"I dont know maam, am just following orders." Brock said regretfully

"As he said mom, they are probably here to bring me to the mayor, so that someone higher than the mayor can talk to me privately. Though it may be a talk they want, its not certain if they will go rough with me or us. So its better if you guys stay here, so that i can focus on protecting myself more." John said seriously

"Its time to go." Brock said as the officer agrees, and they go outside towards the patrol car

"Like I said john, just what did you do this time?" Angel said angrily worried

"Not what i have done mom, what was entrusted to me. I will now go and talk to them so that no one can mess with us." John said as he goes to the door

"I wont permit it john! You are our son! If anything happens to you--" tod said angrily worried as well while about to grab johns shoulder

But as he tries to, his hand was suddenly shocked by electricity, which he suddenly pulled back with slight pain.

"Dont worry dad, I will certainly come back, promise. And once I do, I will explain everything to you guys." John said as he waves them goodbye for now

After that, john goes towards the patrol car, where the officers were waiting and left the house. Then as they arrived at the city hall, all eyes were on him as he was escorted by 2 policemen towards the mayors office.

"Mayor sanchez, we have brought him." Brock said after he enters the mayors office

There at the table, was the mayor, which is ordinary looking and a bit chubby. He was wearing his formal attire with glasses, while sitting in the room painted with mint green, and with the aircon turned on.

"Let him sit down. After that, leave us." Sanchez said as he leaned forward a bit

"Yes sir." Brock said before guiding john to sit by the table, and before leaving the office

"Please wait for a while as I finish these paperwork a bit, so that I will call president dueta." Sanchez said as he sorted his desk and finishes some paperwork on his table.

"No worries." John said as he sat on a chair

"As its just us two in here, can you tell me on what really made president dueta personally call for you? Make it brief please." Sanchez said as he was about to finish the last bit of papers to sign

"That, I also dont know. Though I assume its for me to explain some things that happened to me." John said seriously

"Then just what happened to you exactly?" Sanchez said while signing

"That is for us to discuss later mr mayor, though I can give you a hint if you want." John said smiling

"No, that can wait." Sanchez said before he signed the last importamt paper. "Now then, lets get started." He said before going to his tablet to join a video call
