Chapter 24

"Ehh?!" Aya said, surprised. "Are you sure you chose the right members for this mission?"

They were all at johns office, when the mission briefing started.

"Yes. Regardless of your country, I have chosen you girls only cause of your powers and skills." John said

"Even though im half mexican and american?" Claire said

"Even though im the first to be with you john?" Beth said

"Even though I just started training as a mutant?" Aya said as frey agrees

"Even though im of asian descent, regardless of which country I come from?" Alex said as silk agrees

"Yes to all those questions. If you have any other questions--" john said befor being cut off

"When do we leave?" Silk said, as it also left a smile with john

After that, a helicopter picked them up at the facility training grounds, where they arrived somewhere in cuba after a few hours.

"At last, I can move! Am just tired of all that sitting." Silk said as she stretches herself after the heli landing

"Come one silk! Lets move!" Aya said, also bringing silks bag with her, and both are wearing pants and a blouse

"Yes, yes." Silk said before they were all able to walk forwards

"Lets just take it easy girls. We have all the time we need." Claire said, as shes wearing a one piece with a bikini underneath

"Girls, we are here for the mission, not vacation. Like I said before we took off." Aya said, a bit pissed

"Hahh.. please calm down aya. I know silk can be free spirited, and claire a bit of all of the above, but we must focus on this mission like you said." John said, as he gets silks bag from aya to calm her down, and with a smile before she calms down and smiled as well

"Sir storm, is it really wise to bring these girls along?" Colonel luke caster, commanding officer in charge of the operation said

"Yes. They can definitely be of use when the time comes." John said before they arrived at the camp near a beach

They were now at a camp near a beach in cuba, which the US military is currently based for the whole operation.

"So? When will we leave for the bermuda triangle?" Silk said, as the monitor for a satellite view was laid out on the table

"This is the satellite view of the current situation, where the object is currently at 6 miles away and 6 miles under. There seems to be something down there, thats what the 3 treasure hunters told me." Luke said

"And where are they now?" Claire said

"We sent them home, since they just clearly want the treasure if there is." Luke said

"So you have already sent many drones under there, and found something right?" Aya said

"Yes. We believe it to be some kind of advance ship." Luke said

"According to the spirits, yes, it is a kind of ship." John said as the girls agree

"In any case, we have already sent divers and drones to that location, but it would take some time before we could actually determine if its really a friendly or not." Luke said

"Why do you say if its friendly or not?" Claire said

"Cause whenever the drones got too close, the ship seems to attack it with lasers! We totally cant get too close to it at this rate!" Luke said frustrated

"So you are now counting on john to get the job done right?" Aya said

"Yes. We had no other choice but to rely on you, please do help us in our investigation." Luke said

"Alright then. Though what do you have in mind?" John said

"Thank you so much sir john!" Luke said, now excited. "Also, we were planning to have the whole thing be lifted up by you, while we will go inside the ship and investigate."

"What if we will just dive down there, and all of us will go inside?" Aya said

"That would be the easiest solution, but not that practical. Our scuba gear can only get so far, and while using an exploration ship is good, it costs money but it also cant be used when in a fight." Luke said as john agrees

"What about we just destroy it?" Aya said

"No can do. What if we trigger some kind of war? Or maybe destroy part of the environment?" Luke said as john agrees

"What if I just lift the ship and put it on the beach?" John said

"But that would really make the operation known to others." Luke said

"If we are gonna start something, just let it be known now than later, or else we might be dealing with something we cant handle." John said as the girls also agree

"Alright then, I just hope you are right john." Luke said before going out to relay the plan to the others

"Are you sure we will be fine in this mission? As you said, there is a risk." Claire said

"Yes, we will be. As long as we so things the right way than being rash." John said before leaving the command tent. "I will be back soon. Just wait for me at the beach girls." He said with a smile

Then after the final preparations were done, john was accompanied by some helicopters towards the place where the ship is, where he flew all the way.

"I can feel some metal under there alright. Now lets begin." John said after getting to the place

He then used electrmagnetism to lift the whole ship upwards, which is considered very heavy due to the ships weight and the water inside it. After a few seconds of struggle, a ship appeared from the water, which was also 5 miles wide. And with that, the choppers guided john towards the beach, where the military has also evacuated every citizen in it and placed the tip of the ship there. Where the beach only occupied some of the head of the ship, and made some kind of engine noise.

"Whew! Now this is a big one." John said after landing at the beach, where the girls go to his side

"Thats an alien ship right?" Silk said as they marvel on it

"Yes, it is indeed." Aya said

"Now the problem is its defense systems, if only we have a way around it." Silk said

"Not a way around girls, we go from the entrance as usual." John said with a smile before walking forward. "Girls, get behind me. Its gonna get really messy here."

With that said, the girls then walked behind john, as the soldiers all get ready with their anti laser barriers at a distance. Then as the defence systems activate, and as all front lasers were aimed at him, john also striked with his lightning. But this time, john moves forward as he shoots his lightning, until he also destroyed barrier and lasers due to overload.

"Whew! Let me catch my breath for now." John said as he stopped near the ship

"Go now! Secure the ship!" Claire said, and luke agrees

After that, luke gave the order to secure the ship with all the available soldiers.

"Ok, lets all go for the entrance." John said after all the soldier were in formation, and after he catched his breath

As the girls agree, they then go forwards towards the entrance, where the girls all try to open it with their powers to no avail.

"Let me try." John said before he touched the front of the ship

After 5 minutes of pouring much lightning towards the whole ship, as it overrided the controls for the whole ship, the ship then went silent.

"Now girls, try to open the entrance with all you got." John said with a smile

The girls then agreed and attacked the entrance once more, which soon made a crude kind of hole, big enough for all of them to enter. Luke then ordered some to guard the entrance, and when they entered the ship, claire made herself glow inside the dark ship.

"Careful guys, we dont want anyone missing just yet." Luke said as they were now deep inside the ship, and the soldiers agreed

Until they heard a scream behind them.

"What was that?!" Luke said as all of them were now alert

"Girls, why dont you go to the entrance along with the soldiers." John said

"Why?" Luke said as the girls agree

"Although this isnt the time for pride colonel, I think that the enemy this time will be tough." John said seriously

"Alright then, I hope you are right." Luke said as they now go back towards the entrance

"Now then, how will I do this?" John said as he stretched his hands
