Chapter 39

"..Its been 10 days now since the very first transmission from both planets of both aliens, and thre seems to be problems in both planets. As widow, the arach, has maybe conquered those planets. It was also a major shock to know that both planets are like that, but there also seems to be a spy with the aliens! Just when will the council attack us? And will we ever be ready for it? Is the.."

They were now at the dining table in the mansion, where john is currently having finished dinner with the girls and the children. Where they remain at the table while the children play at the side.

"Gosh, im even surprised that they even broadcasted the whole thing." John said sarcasticly

"We were even surprised too." Beth said as the girls agree

"But knowing some politicians, specially when election period is around the corner, just just to make a scene." Aya said

"So girls, how are preparations going?" John said

"All preparations are complete and ready for battle anytime." Aya said as the girls agree

"Weapon systems, ground troops, mutants, all good." Silk said as the girls agree

"Thats good. So how are the kids these days?" John said

"Doing good, though jasmin said that they are all just like you, a bit lazy with studies." Alex said

"I see. Try to give them some inspiration, and they will move towards it. Though never push them too far, or else they will end up not realizing their dreams cause its just too troublesome. Thats also how it is with me." John said

"Insipiration huh.. like what?" Frey said

"Just let them watch some anime or cartoons for them to have some inpiration on what they want to become. Though do be careful with anime, as its not just for kids like any other adult would say." John said

"Haha, speaking from experience I presume." Beth said teasingly, as the girls agree

"Yeah.. well, its also many thanks to that that im the person with you right now." John said as the girls agree. "And why dont we call it a night? The children are getting a bit sleepy." He said as he saw the children at the side all sleepy

As the girls agree, and john helped carry the children to their respective bedrooms where they sleep with their mother, they then go to sleep. But during the middle of the night, there was some people who snuck into each bedroom, in order to assassinate them. And as they were going to slit the throat of each person in the mansion, john woke up and stabbed the assassin at the chest with his bare hands coated with lightning. Then at lightning speed, he checked the rooms of the girls and killed the assassins with his lightning.

"Seems thats all of them." John said as the girls suddenly woke up to the sound of thunder

"What happened?!" Beth said as john was now in her room, and the girls ran towards him

"Assassins. They are trying to kill us, but for what?" John said

"Lets find out." Beth said

As claire shed some light on the assassin in beths room, to their surprise, they found that the assassin was an arach while others were reptilians. Which totalled to 3 reptilians and 4 arachs as they gathered them all.

"This isnt good." Aya said

"You said that right, as this is now the sign of war up ahead. And it also looks like the arachs are learning human tactics." John said seriously

"You think that widow is now lowering her pride?" Silk said

"Probably not. All this is just to bring our confidence down of course, so that we will be in disarray." Beth said

"In any case, you girls better get ready now. I must now do what I must." John said as the girls agree

With that, john then quickly changes to his space suit, which was just inside the vault in a safe place inside the mansion. After checking on the dead octoguy bodyguards just outside, he calls on the malacanang to no answer at all, before he calls towards the white house. But as he calls on them, there was no answer at all from the new US president.

*Ring*

"Hello maam hillary, sorry to bother you--" john

John was currently flying towards storm range, when he was calling hillary, which she was in her home with her family.

"Yes, I know what you want. It seems that most of the current world leaders are assassinated." Hillary

"What?! The situation is indeed grave. Who and how many are still alive?" John

"As of the moment, we really dont know who is still alive. But it seems that they really killed all the US senate members, including the president and vice. The world as we know it is now in chaos, losing most of the world leaders." Hillary

"Damn it! They really have done it. If thats true, then we could also expect the worst happening to all other world leaders." John said

"I agree. Whatever the case, I now appoint you john, as the commander of the allied earth forces for now. As vested to me by the powers as a former US president." Hillary

"Got it. This isnt the time to be bickering about posts and stuff after all." John said as he arrived at storm range space station

"Good that you are quick on the uptake john. Good luck." Hillary said before she ended the call

As he entered storm range, towards the control room, he saw hormus already on the scene. Although there were also dead bodies floating all around the station as he floated inside.

"Hormus, glad to see you. How are things here?" John said as he stopped next to him

"We just arrived and we are still in the middle of restoring power to all the defense systems around the planet." Hormus said

"Damn it! They got us all good." John said before there was a sudden transmission

"Thats right johnny storm, you lose big." Widow said

"Widow!" Hormus said, now angry

"And we are here to kill!" There was then many groups of reptilians behind them, all of them very big and strong

"Dont worry, they are all there to kill all of you in that station. I will be here to claim my rewards." Widow said

"Hormus, sir john, we have detected some heat signatures all around! You were right before!" A octoguy said in charge of detection

"You may have won this time, but the war is far from over widow." John said seriously

"Johnny storm! Go! We will handle this!" Hormus said, as he drew his laser gun, along with the other octoguys

"Kill them all!" Widow said with pride, before all the reptilians charged towards them

"Tch!" John said as he literally had no other choice
