"Hello mr johnny storm, this is the new philippine president edwin dueta, can I speak with you for a moment?"

John was now in his office, where hes just about to finish some papers for signing, while edwin was at the malacanang calling to him.

"Sure, no problem. What seems to be the problem?" John

"Nothing, I just want to talk to someone as wise and powerful as you, who also has my fathers trust. Anyways, its now been 3 months ever since the 2nd invasion of the council, so I just want to ask whats the status of everything now." Edwin

"Even though you receive reports about the ongoing status of things from reports?" John

"I dont quite yet have the time to read those reports, due to the load of papers still needing to be signed. Sorry." Edwin

"No worries. Lets begin from the end of the war. As the war has brought many deaths, specially on the councils armada, only a mere 30% remained where some surrenderred and some turn tail. The reptilians were nice enough to surrender, as well as the fishmen. Good thing also that we ran out of nukes to throw at them." John

"Haha, you are right about that. Even my father was surprised at plan B when it was first proposed." Edwin

"Yes. Ever since the quantum comm device and the spy thing, I thought that it would also be good to throw some nukes at them, like literally." John

"So what was the principle in the operation basketball again?" Edwin

"To just use the experimental quantum transportation machine to deliver nukes to them when they least expected. The theory behind the transportation device was the theory of quantum entanglement, which proved to be right only for objects." John

"Why only objects?" Edwin

"Cause unlike objects, the atoms of living organisms behave very differently. Do you ever question yourself on why living organisms move if only gravity is the one holding everything? Unlike with objects." John

"Ah, yes. Very true." Edwin

"And thats the principle on quantum teleportation. In any case, the reptilians and fishmen surrendered, so we now have more forces to spare." John

"In regards with them, what happened to them actually?" Edwin

"Both reptilians and fishmen were subjected to forced labor, helping the world recover itself from their attacks, with either their skills or technology." John

"Since they already gave their part of the info as part of the cultural and info exchange we had when they just arrived. So hows the restoration process going?" Edwin

"Earth defense systems are now back online, and we all just finished cleaning up after all the dead bodies and buried the alien bodies on the moon. Its also a good thing too that hormus was able to survive back then, even if hes now with just one hand." John

"So how is hormus and pixie right now?" Edwin

"All the aliens are now quite busy with restoration efforts around the world, where hormus is the one leading them." John

"I see. Oh, and just out of curiousity. With all that power, wisdom, and knowledge, why do you not make full use of it as a ruler or something?" Edwin

"Thats quite the question, though the answer is very simple. I just want to live normally like all others, even if I have all those that you mentioned. Also, peace is better than war right? I never will get involve in politics, as its almost always messy. Or even make myself into some kind of god, since that too is quite messy in a way." John

"True enough. Though it only seems that you lack any greed to make it to the top." Edwin

"Yes. Have you already forgotten my mission? Which is to bring balance to the universe, and save the world as well." John

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot about that. Though there are still a pile of problems left for the human race, like global warming for one." Edwin

"As our company is currently expanding internationally, we normally deal with research and development, but we also have other things in our repertoire. Like in construction, education, data processing, and waste recycling." John

"Wait, your company also do waste recycling?" Edwin

"Yes. As most humans lack the discipline to properly throw garbage properly, we have developed a system which literally recycles all kinds of trash. All by melting everything down and making a totally new metal, which is mostly used in space construction." John

"But wont the emissions be harmful to the environment as well?" Edwin

"Normally, yes. But if you contain all that emission into a facility and filter it to become clean air, then all is alright." John

"Hmm.. indeed, you also have the smarts, just like father said." Edwin

"The answers to life are simple, its just the processes and equations thats complex, specially with humans. Just like how the american military was cunning enough to send a nuke from tracing any calls towards earth, figuring it might be the council." John

"Thats quite the wisdom there. Anyways, its basically time, and I have a meeting right now. Thanks for everything!" Edwin said before he ended the call

"Whew! Thats takes care of that." John said before beth came in

"John, its about the new project that the earth alliance forces are making. With the worlds population decreased by 15% in the last war, there are some that doesnt think we should explore mars as a new planet to inhabit. In short, they are also short on manpower." Beth said as she sat on a chair

"Why dont they just ask help from all the aliens who are willing to help?" John said

"I already suggested that to the world leaders, but those who rejected to cooperate on the project also rejected help from the aliens." Beth said

"Hahh.. such hard headed people, and such pride indeed." John said

"Should we do something about it john?" Beth said

"Nope. That problem is now theirs to solve. Right now, even at a slow pace, I want the company to continue building on project ares. Like all other companies are now slowly aiming for." John said as beth agreed

"Anyways, what do we do with all the people who are rallying on the main gate?" Beth said

"You mean with all the people against aliens, or the people who believes in me as the new savior and all that?" John said

"For now, its the people of new faith, as they call themselves." Beth said

"I see. Lets leave them be for now. You remember what I told you before right?" John said

"Yes, I do. That our source of power boost comes from the energy beings, which they feed on energy coming from both the faith and and the fear of all living beings. Plus if some would place some of their faith in us, we also get some power boost, unlike with ordinary mutants." Beth said

"And that is all because of when all of you girls married me. The energy beings in this world has indeed blessed us with some of their powers. Which is why we must not mess with the people of new faith, only when needed." John said

"Like when they attempt to do something stupid in the name of their religion right? Got it." Beth said

"I never would have guessed that the day would come that I will become reveered." John said, rubbing his temple

"Me too." Beth said

But as they were about to continue to work, there was a big earthquake all of a sudden, which was active for about more than a minute.

"Whoa! That was quite a big one!" Beth said

"Lets both do the earthquake drill and check if everyone is alright." John said as beth understood

With that, they both did the drill as per SOP, and later made everyone go towards the training grounds where its more spacious.

*Ring*

"Hello president roy winston, what can I do for you today?" John said as he was just finishing the evacuation procedure

"John, we might have a little problem here." Roy

"Alright, whats the problem?" John said as he now searches for a bench

"Is there also an earthquake around your area?" Roy

"Yes, and im just about to finish evac here for the facility. Why?" John

"There has been a report from CALTECH and MIT, that a very large amount of gravitational waves was detected during the earthquake. And they calculated its origin to find that it came from just right above earth!" Roy said as john just found a bench

"So you are now asking me to check on the anomaly for anything out if the ordinary right?" John

"Yes please." Roy

"What about the satellites? Did they see anything?" John said as the girls just got to him

"Actually, no. Since the satellites were also driven off course when the quake happened. NASA and other space agencies are currently managing the situation with the satellites, so there is literally no other way." Roy

"Alright then, let me check on it after a minute." John said before he ended the call

"What was that john?" Frey said

"It was president roy." John said seriously. "I will be back in a minute." He said before he ran at lightning speed to get his space suit

Once he was on the suit, john flew towards space to check on the origin of the quake, but found a medium sized octoguy ship just at a distance away from the storm range.

"Whats that doing there?" John said before he flew closer to the ship

When he got inside the ship and searched for anyone inside, he then found 2 hybernation machines, which has 2 humans inside it.

"Oh boy, something tells me that more trouble is coming." John said with his hands on his waist
