Chapter 3_3

“hahh.. anyways, that should..” jake was about to say when he noticed that the kraken still lives. “how many times do I have to kill this guy?”

Then he remembers an old japanese legend from an anime, that consuming mermaid flesh would make anyone immortal.

“oh yeah, right. Which means that I have to just kill it again and again.” jake said before unleashing another set of lightning bolts towards the kraken

But no matter how many lightning bolts were struck towards the kraken, it would just regenerate itself.
”this has gotten boring, and a bit tiring, so I should finish things up.” jake said as he readies for another attack

This time, he attacks with about 13 lightning bolts towards the kraken before he came down towards its head and forcefully pulled out the 2 power stones. After he pulled the power stones, which made him step back a bit after getting it, he flies again upwards before striking another set of lightning bolts towards the kraken. And this time, the kraken finally dies.

“whew! Now off to commander cruz take these stones to safety.” jake said

By the time the fight was finished, the sun then rises from the east, as the corpse of the kraken sinks to the bottom of the lake.

“aww man, this means I havent slept for a whole 24 hours. Oh well.” jake said with a gesture

Jake then flies towards marawi city, back towards the camp where commander cruz was waiting.

“whew! The fight took longer than usual.” jake said as he descends inside the camp

“tell me what happened jake.” cruz said after he rushed outside to meet jake

“i think that general delta just summoned the sirens, or the mermaids, and the kraken.” jake

“why? And how can you say that?” cruz

“look at these 2 power stones. at first, they look like regular stones, but if you infuse them with some power, they will turn into either siren or kraken.” jake said as he shows them the power stones

“so this is the power stones that was mentioned. Oh, and they are safe by the way, paul and the others. All thanks to you.” cruz said as jake hands over the stones

The stones were both the size of a regular mans hand, and weighs about as much as a rock would, which also shines like a jewel.

“i see, thats good. Though what should we do with these power stones?” jake

“these stones can only do more harm in the wrong hands, I will be sending these stones to the generals for safe keeping.” cruz

“what about me? Can I go home for now?” jake

“sure, you can. though how will you get home now?” cruz

“i think I will fly home this time, right after some midnight snacks.” jake said as he goes towards the canteen

“alright then.” cruz said before he looks at the stones again. “to think either of these stones would become a hideous monster of legend.”

“oh, and one more thing commander.” jake said, coming back

“what is it?” cruz
”please don’t ever let those stones fall into the wrong hands, so it might be better to deliver them right now than later.” jake

“i will note that.” cruz
