“this is carol yap again, for the talk, on CNN. We now have general tuba here with us to discuss on matters concerning about jake burns.” carol

General tuba then appears on the screen, sitting beside carol.

“General, what are your thoughts on the matter?” carol

“well, where do I start? I mean, there is basically a lot that I can say.” tuba

“for starters, lets begin from the very beginning. What can you say about him himself? Regarding the past and towards what he is now.” carol

“when I first met him at the malacanang, he was very collected and knows what he is doing, but I feel sorry for him when I heard about his past and what the americans did to him.” tuba

“yes, he did mean in his words that the americans has done something to him that he cant forgive.” carol

“true. Cause if I were in his shoes, I also wouldnt forgive the americans for what they had done to me. But since to forgive is to forget, knowing him, I don’t think that he wont ever forget about the facts.” tuba

“he also said about low frequency something, isnt that a form of hypnosis?” carol

“yes. Normally, only animals can hear such frequencies. But due to recent technological advances, it is now possible to have a low frequency signal be transmitted directly towards the brain via the ears. Normally, we can hear about how many decibels, I forgot. But during low frequency sound waves, our brain automatically translates those sound waves.” tuba

“i see.” carol

“the americans even sent some soldiers to get jake burns, only to fail, due to jake awakening at that moment.” tuba

“really? They really sent soldiers to pick up jake?” carol

“yes. As pitiful as his situation was, we are glad that he is what he is right now.” tuba

“can we go back a bit? Like, can you tell us more about when the americans came to kidnap him.” carol

“i don’t really have the exact details, but I heard from him that the americans first came to him directly. And in that instant, the a voice inside him said something to him which gave him his lightning.” tuba

“i see. And with that, he just kick their american asses right?” carol

“wrong. As it was the first time he used his powers, someone or something took over him and killed those soldiers, an entity if may be. And you know what he said?” tuba

“no, what?” carol

“he said the god of death was protecting him. Cant you believe it? Death itself?” tuba

“uh-uh.. and you believe all this?” carol said skeptical
”nope, since we basically have no evidence. What we have is just his word for it, all except for all his achievements in the field.” tuba

“yes, lets talk about that next. Waht are your thoughts of jake as a superhero?” carol

“first of all, jake isnt a superhero. Hes more of a valuntary military personnel that we call in case of emergencies.” tuba
”but everybody is still calling him the hero, the monster hunter or slayer.” carol

“let them call him whatever they want. To me and the military, hes a valuable asset.” tuba

“i see. Lets skip the part about his adventures, since jake already told us his adventures.” carol

“yes, lets skip that. Its also a good thing that he knows about privacy for victim protection.” tuba

“he didn’t say any other names aside from big names like president tramp anyways.” carol

“speaking of president tramp, it shows that a general really ordered the kill for jake.” tuba

“what?! and are you sure to be saying this?” carol

“yes. Its really a matter of national pride. Anyways, that general was subjected to a lie detector machine and shows that he was lying when he said he didn’t want to kill jake.” tuba

“so, what did he intend to do with jake?” carol

“he intended to inject viruses which was genetically modified by CRISPR to cure jake of his being a mutant, but only backfired instead.” tuba

“wow! And just how did he manage to not revert back to normal? didn’t the US label him as a mutant?” carol
”they had a theory that he is a mutant. I don’t know about now, but theory says that his speed healing took care of all the viruses inside.” tuba

“while on the topic of blood, I received news that jake burns donated his blood, is that true?” carol

“yes, he even made us guard it. There was one time in the past, where the blood was missing, and it was also during the time when the tikbalang and the garuda appeared!” tuba

“i see. So the attack might have been a diversion to draw away attention from the real crime.” carol

“yes, but jake cooperated again and provided his blood once more. We gave it to russia and china, even though china was hesitant at first. But during the battle of the zombie king, they suddenly had a change of heart.” tuba

“On that note, have you found something in his blood that labels him a mutant?” carol

“yes. Even though jake claims that hes a combination of all 3 kinds of people, mutant, psychic, and people with gifts, evidence shows that his blood was slightly modified. We currently don’t know how it happened, but his dna definitely was altered or mutated.” tuba

“ok, so is it also really true that jake is still under attack until now?” carol

“what do you mean?” tuba

“you saw the last episode right? On how his lightning barrier or whatever guarded him, and made sparks along the way.” carol

“oh, that. I don’t really know, since the US would have many things that are classified. And you already know how secretive they can get.” tuba

“ok, so on the next topic, what would you say about the recent threat about the nazis?” carol

“i also don’t really know anything about that, though the US is also getting their resources into finding this new threat.” tuba

“what in the world could they really do right?” carol

“yes, info even says that they are responsible for the recent spurt of monsters around the world.” tuba

“so that means jake suddenly have lots of calls right?” carol
”yes. Though he turned them all down saying that he can only kill the monsters, not capture them alive.” tuba

“what?! they want to capture the monsters alive? Are they insane?” carol

“this is what jake said to all of them, curiousity kills the cat.” tuba

“really? Thats all he said?” carol
”yes. I can relate to what he said, and as the only way to protect others from monsters is to kill them or reason with them, surely he could have agreed to one or two of them.” tuba

“well, killing is one thing, but capturing is extremely difficult I think.” carol

“you may be right on that. He even proved that the japanese yokai, the tengu, can live among us in this new times.” tuba

“i see. Also, rumor has it that the nazis already has a copy of jakes genetic information, is that true?” carol

“really? There is a rumor about that already? I don’t quite really know about that.” tuba

“well, no offense but the security here is like childs play to hackers out there in the world right?” carol
”it might be true. But still I have to say, that I don’t particularly know about this matter. I will discuss this to the president though on our next meeting.” tuba

“and what of jakes family, are they well protected for the incoming war?” tuba

“as far as manual security goes, they are already well protected. As any more would be a breach of contract of security, I will only say that they are safe.” tuba

“i see. On the next topic, with jakes genetic information at hand, how will you proceed with it?” carol

“right now, we are working with american scientists who are also staying here, to research of jakes blood. Right now, we are at the point of doing human trials on those willing volunteers.” tuba

“will the project fail? And wouldnt the data from this fall into the wrong hands, like with the nazis?” carol

“right now, I cant say anything if it will fail or not. But on the matter of security, it wont fall into their hands that easily. Though the americans do have a point that they might be anywhere.” tuba

“you got a point.” carol said with s gesture before facing the audience. “Anyways, thats all for todays show on the talk, see you again next time!”

“that was a good talk.” jake said at the counter

It was now about a month later from the zombie king incident, and jake was now enjoying his time helping his parents at the store, along with his parents and a new employee as they were watching TV.

“yes, certainly.” paipai

By then, his parents got back to their individual jobs at the store.

“by the way, why are you here again?” jake

“are you daydreaming jake? Shes here for you!” jacob said teasingly

“dear, we all know that paipai is only here for the job.” emma

“yes, yes. I know.” jacob
”and while also convincing jake here to help me with my problem, which is to either find my parents or to avenge them.” paipai

“yes, yes, I know. Though you have certainly improved your english a lot paipai.” jake

“beautiful and sexy to boot! You’re a great match for jake paipai!” jacob said as emma hits his side with her elbow

“thank you. This is the result of much training in the training center for english.” paipai said smiling

“we call that SPED, but whatever. Anyways, I hear that the philippine military is currently seeking volunteers all around the country for the first ever human trials.” jake

“whoa.. talk about dangerous.” jacob
”about that, I was thinking of having joy volunteer.” jake

“what?!” both jacob and emma said

“are you out of your mind?! thats your sister!” emma

“yes, I know. But isnt it maybe time? With all the dangers in the world and stuff--” jake

Emma cuts him off, “how about you protect us jake?”

“for me, I cant. Maybe not now anyways, since im also bound to duty with the military as a standby unit.” jake

“you always say that, though you really don’t want to protect us.” emma

“i do! I do want to protect you personally! But as things stand, I cant even get out there and help others in need!” jake
”you don’t need to help others jake, you have already helped enough people! Why wont you just retire yourself--” emma

Jake cuts her off, “no mom, the gods chose me for a reason. This is already my second life, so I have to do this. But joy is different, and its now up to her to decide whether to take the risk or not. Besides, the DNA structure will just change to that similar to mine.” jake

“really? It will be similar to yours?” jacob

“yes. But not entirely a copy of my whole dna genome. I will ask her later if she wants to.” jake

“but wont the operation be dangerous? Wont there be side effects?” emma

“that, I don’t know. It might probably have, but I trust that it will be lesser with joy.” jake

“why do you think so jake?” paipai

“cause shes my sister, thats why.” jake said with confidence

“oh..” they said

“well, I might also sign up for that.” paipai

“what?! why?!” jacob

“if jake wont help me, then I will have to help myself.” paipai

“jake, cant you do anything with her request?” jacob
”nope, as long as the chinese military wont request for me, I wont go to them. Besides, having those divine beasts is sort of like a good luck charm for their country as I heard.” jake

“but the one in my province, in chengdu, is the white tiger.” paipai

“oh.. thats a bit bad.” jake
”right? And you don’t want to even help me with it! Why?!” paipai said being close to jake and face to face

“like I said, the chinese military still hasn’t requested for my help yet.” jake

“hahh.. if only the chinese government or military isnt like this in the first place.” paipai said walking slowly to get the mop from jacob

“cheer up paipai, there will come a time where your prayer will be heard.” emma said with confidence

“thank you maam, that means a lot.” paipai

“Though in the meantime, how about giving the trails a shot? I will vouch for you.” jake

“really? You will?!” paipai said running towards jake, almost stumbling

“yes, I will.” jake said with a smile

All was fine until a customer entered the store, and it was now afternoon, where the customers were low.

“hello there, can I get jake to meet with me?”

When they saw the customer, she was yet another beauty, who sought out jake.

“who are you miss?” jacob

“im ai yukino, the one who jake helped in japan.” ai

“oh! Hi there ai! I didn’t recognize you there!” jake

“hi jake! Guess what?” ai

“what?” jake

“im to live here from now on!” ai said with happiness

“what? Congratulations!” they all said

“thanks. But the biggest factor in me choosing to stay here was jake burns, I still have yet to repay your kindness back then.” ai
”oh, you don’t need to mind that--” jake

Ai cuts him off, “but I do! I owe a great debt to you! So big that I cant even sleep properly at night!”

“oh, ok then.” jake said as he saw paipai with a dead look
”so you helped her and not me.” paipai said pouting

“like I said, it cant be helped, unlike with japan.” jake

“and who is this jake?” ai

“im lim paipai, glad to meet you.”

“and im ai yukino, glad to meet you too.” ai said as there was a spark flying

“son, you are really a sinful man.” jacob said with a thumbs up and a smile

“hahh.. oh boy.” jake said rubbing his temple

“anyways, jake, I would like your guidance.” ai

“what is it?” jake

“i have already submitted my form as a volunteer for the human trials.” ai
”whoa! Why? You don’t have to do--” jake

Ai cuts him off, “no, I need to do this. So that I can properly repay you.”

“i see. So we will be on the same spot then.” paipai

“yes. Im excited on what powers we will have.” ai

“oh boy..” jake

On a secret military lab at london, where a group of scientists were working on a project, they stumbled upon an idea so revolutionary that it could change the tides.

"Dr tod, were ready." Said a scientist

"Good. Whats the status of the framework?" Tod

"Perfect sir, all systems are a go."

"Where is the stone?" Tod

"Here sir." Said a scientist in a hazmat suit carrying the stone

"Good. Lets now proceed with the testing phase of the projects." Tod

With that said, the stone was placed on the mechanical 7 foot giant. The giant also had artificial skin and titanium framework for bones, as well as wires for nerves towards curcuits for the whole system.

"Whats this stone for again?" Tod

"Its the power stone for ghouls or mummies, it has no quite specific purpose."

"I see. No matter, we shall proceed as planned. Start charging the stone!" Tod

After the stone was placed and the word given, power from the generators then flowed to the stone, which then shone brightly.

"Sir, its not desponding to the power source."

"Pour in more power." Tod

"But sir--"

Tod cuts him off, "pour in more power, now!"

With that order, they then got 3 more gemerators to plug in along with the other 2, but still no sign of life.

"Stop the test, the test has failed." Tod said before they stopped the test. "This is 3rd time the test has failed, what could we have dine wrong?"

"Sir, aside that we have confirmed that its parasitic, maybe it only latches to organic materials such as skin?" A scientist said as the stone was put in a briefcase

"Unthinkable! Your saying the stone has a mind of its own?!" Tod

"Its just a theory sir."

After stopping the test, as tod sighs and the others were working and thinking, he went towards the stone.

"If this doesnt work, then nothing can." Tod

With all his coworkers realizing all too late to stop him, tod touched the stone only to have his life force slowly sucked away from him by the stone.

"Argh!! I cant pull it out of my hand!" Tod said as the stone shines

"What should we do?!" The scientists said as they all wonder

"How about putting it now on the machine?"

"Great idea!" Tod said before running towards the machine framework

There at the forehead of the machine, he placed the stone where the stone assimilated to the machine framework, connecting everything as if making another living organism. after tod was able to free himself from the stone, and tired, the machine framework suddenly moves and faces tod in the eye.

"Mama?" Said the ugly hideous figure of a monster

"No, its papa." Tod said, as he was smiling

"Sir, would this be a happy ending or not?" Said a scientist

"Call the queen, if this would be a happy ending or not would be up to us." Tod said before that scientist goes

"What should we name it?" A scientist said

"The way i see it, its like a frankenstein, So we will name it frank." Tod

In the meantime, in a military base down at fort drum, at the ocean in the outskirts of manila, the base camp was converted into a testing facility to test out for the human trials.

"Are you sure you want to be here joy?" Emma

They were now at the side of the island chatting

"Yes, im sure. Brother offered me the chance of a lifetime, why wont i accept?" Joy

"Besides, im always here if soemthing ever happens." Jake said with confidence

"Thats really reassuring jake." Emma said sarcasticly

"Anyways, we are all here now, so there is nothing to be afraid of." Jacob

"Im glad you are all here and all due to the special invite by jake, but you guys need to move away from the side of the island, its very windy out here." Tuba

"But sir, there are over 50 volunteers!" Jake

"Dont worry, we can all fit just fine! Now come here to me you guys, And have her prepped up!" Tuba

"Yes sir!" Both joy and jake answered

"Mom, dont worry about me. If what brother said is true, then i have a chance to have powers like brother." Joy said before she walks towards the other test subjects

"Its a shame that dutuer cant come here." Jake said to tuba

"Of course not! God knows what will happen to him here! So we will just be filming the whole thing." Tuba

"Oh, alright then. This location was intended if something might happen during the test right?" Jake

"Yes. Of course, you are here to protect us all, but its to be safe and all." Tuba said as they all agree

"Hey, is the test ready yet dr mary manalastas?" Jake said to the head scientist

"Yes, we now have over 50 vails for each test subject for the test." Mary

"We cant fail in this, for we have the attention of the international community, along with their volunteers." Jake

"Ok, so lets start the test." Tuba

With that go signal from tuba, they started to distribute the vails to the 10 scientists in the area, before they injected the vail filled with generically engineered viruses. The test subjects were each also strapped in an operating table specially placed there.

"God, i hope everything will be ok." Jacob said as joy was now injected as well with the virus

Before long, each subject dispalyed some symptoms where they coughed blood or mutated their physical appearance. Although joy, paipai, and ai were still the same, they all had the urge to scratch some parts of their body as their body somewhat rejects the new changes to their dna. After a while, the sky darkened as clouds gather on the island and surrounding it, as all the test subjects suffer in some kind of feedback from the changes. After a while, drugs were also administered to ease the pain a bit on all test subjects, where jake, his parents, and tuba were watching from the side. Then a flash of light shone, and there were very strong winds in the area that it basucally blew away one of the scientists to the ocean.

"I will go get that guy." Jake said to tuba

"Sure." Tuba said before jake went

And as the sun shone from the skies, the changes were over and they all had come to sleep.

"Whew, glad that was the only victim of this experiment." Jake said coming from rescuing that scientist

"How was he?" Tuba

"Just fine, he just drank some water thats all. Anyways, is it over?" Jake

"It might seem like it." tuba

"Hey dr mary, is it done yet?" Jake

"Yes it is, we are just waiting for them to wake up." Mary

"Is it safe now to go to joy?" Emma said to tuba

"No maam, its not yet safe. We still need for them to wake up." Tuba

Then after a few more minutes of waiting, the first ones to wake up were the 4 girls, paipai, ai, joy, and one other. When they woke up, their eyes glowed as their hair also levitated.

"Whats happening to them?" Emma

"They are currently feeling their powers for the first time." Jake said as the 4 girls now stood up after being unstrapped

"Bro, is this how you always feel?!" Joy said smiling

"Yup. But now, i would like all of you to control it." Jake said walking towards them

"Jake--" emma said as she was being prevented by tuba

"But how bro?" Joy

"We can literally feel all the power surging inside us." Ai

"Yes, as if it wants us to use them." Paipai

"Yes, i know the feeling. But know this, the gods first prevented mankind from having powers, as it would be like handing an armed nuke to a baby, you got me?" Jake said as he stopped in front of them

"Yes, we heard you jake." The girls said and agreed

"As your power is now a part of you, you can feel the power flowing inside you right? I want you to control it." Jake

"But how?" Ai

"At this rate, only you know how to control yourselves with reason, as controlling it is just like breathing air. Cause at this rate, you will only do harm than good." Jake

"Alright, we will try bro." Joy said as the girls agree

With that said, they were able to control their powers after breathing deeply, where the scientists now approached them for assessment. Their eyes now wasnt glowing and they look normal compared to the others.

"As for what your powers are, depends on what you received. So use it wisely." Jake said as the girls agree

"With this, each country would have their own hero right?" Jacob said to tuba

"Yes. Though this doesnt mean that they can be independent, since we all chose volunteers which have close to jakes situation or has a good family of their own." Tuba

"For leverage i see. Which is why they are all now bound to the military even if they dont want to right?" Jacob

"Yes. But as for jake, he is a special case, along with the 2 girls paipai and ai. All 3 of them are bound to the philippine military, but they can move accordingly as they want." Tuba

"I see." Jacob said as the experiment was over by the time all the subjects woke up

But as the subjects woke up, it turns out that only about 10 people got powers and the rest didnt.

"Sir, it seems that only about 5-8% of them got their powers, so which means the percentage for mutation with powers are quite low." Mary

"It seems that way. Well, keep up the good work." Tuba

"Yes, though im amazed, that what jake burns picked would turn out to be high level mutants." Mary

"I see. What are their powers then?" Tuba

"Jake is currently assisting with us right now." Mary

"So you dont know their powers yet." Emma

"Yes. Well, jake will be training them anyways." Mary

"And what happened to the others?" Tuba

"They arent dead, im sure, but the rest are a little bit sick from the intake of the viruses." Mary

"Have you now treated them?" Tuba

"Yes. Treatmemt for them is underway." Mary

"What about joy? Is she ok?" Emma

"Yes. In fact, shes doing great." Mary

"Oh thank god." Emma said relieved along with jacob

"Your son really picks great people, you should be proud." Mary

"Yes, we are indeed." Jacob said as they were smiling

With that, the test was a success and word now spread about it. And after the test, comes their training with jake, which was also filmed and distributed to world leaders for their own purposes.

After word spread of the success of the test, it also eventually reached the ears of the nazis.

"We are all gathered now right?"

They were all now sitting at a round table at an unknown location only known to them.

"Yes, where do you think we all are?"

"Good. Lets start the meeting. As you already know, im jonah sanders, the leader of the nazi organization which recruited all of you."

"Thats good and all, but what are we here for anyways?" Fu jin jin, the triad rep

"Yeah, i also want an answer for that." Arnold agustus bratva rep

"Havent you heard about the rumors about the tests? The nazis are here to discuss with us about it thats what." Greg kilay, cartel rep

"Yes, the rumors also reach me too. So, whats the plan mr jonah?" Ahmed abdalla, terrorist leader

"Well, im only here to hear out what they have in mind, nothing more, nothing less." Masayoshi warui, yakuza rep

"Haha, ever since the recent downfall of the yakuza, you lot are left without a leader right?" Jinjin

"Yes, but that is only back then. There is already someone else who has come to power, and is now leading us in secret." Masayoshi said with confidence

"Anyways, we are here today to discuss about the future." Jonah said before signaling at the back

When the signal was made, men in black got inside the room to bring many kinds of power stones.

"Whoa! You could build an army with all this!" Masayoshi said amazed

"What are these?" Arnold and jinjin said

"Oh? So you guys dont know about the power stones? Haha!" Ahmed

"What are power stones then?" Jinjin said being irritated

"Power stones are stones with power inside them, which can bring forth monsters from another realm." Ahmed

"Monsters? You gotta be kidding me." Arnold said laughing

"Do we look like kidding to you?" Masayoshi said with a serious face. ""The city of tokyo was even rampaged by a monster or yokai."

"Do you guys also ever heard of the monster slayer?" Ahmed

"Nope." Arnold and jinjin said

"Hes now quite famous for basically slaying and hunting monsters down. Specially in the philippines on where hes at." Ahmed

"This is getting ridiculous--" arnold

Jinjin cuts him off, "no, i think i also heard rumors in the underground internet in china where sacred beasts lies in about 4 places in china. I didnt even believe it was true."

"Here is also a video of jake burns battling against the kraken in the philippines, and more." Masayoshi said as he shared his phone with jinjin and arnold

"Well, i still believe it all at total bull. Im out." Arnold said standing up

"You sure mr arnold? When what we will be discussing here would also be with arms dealing, these power stones are merely raffle prizes." Jonah

"Really? Your giving it all away?" Ahmed

"Not all of them, only some. Some are for sale of course." Jonah

"There are about 5 of us representatives, so there are about 5 raffle give aways, and for free!" Greg

"I will just get what i want and earned, thats alli need." Masayoshi

"Anyways, lets get to bidding right now!" Jinjin

"Oh? Hasty arent we?" Jonah

"You believe in all this power stone crap? Though i am just aiming for firepower, i will take whatever you will give." Arnold said sitting down again after all that he has heard

"Alright then, bring out ibrahim, my company here" Ahmed said to jonah

"Why? What can he do?" Jonah

"He has dealt with power stones before. In fact, the siren and kraken came from us in the first place." Ahmed

"Alright then." Jonah said before facing his men. "Bring ibrahim here."

After a few seconds, ibrahim went inside, with his book at hand.

"What does this man do?" Jinjin

"He has a book that can identify what kind of stone you may have, and what kind of spell you may need." Ahmed

"In short, i have magic." Ibrahim

"Well, that will be helpful, though jake burns has already said it on tv, on how to activate one of the power stones." Masayoshi

"What?! How?" Ahmed

"He theorized By providing it with enough power through electricity, one power stone can summon the mythical beast inside." Masayoshi

"That is preposterous.. right ibrahim?" Ahmed

"Sir, that is but one option to summon one. As there are no difference between the 2 options, it would depend on you what you would use." Ibrahim

"Hahh.. why didnt you say so yourself?" Ahmed

"Haha! Anyways, lets get on to the bidding shall we?" Arnold

"And there is more actually." Jonah

"Whoa.. what is it?" Arnold said sarcasticly

"Data on how to become a mutant yourself, just like jake burns." Jonah

"Now that i might want to take!" Arnold said as they agree

"So then, lets start the party." Jonah said before starting the auction

Then after a while, the people present were able to buy a considerable amount of arms and power stones, along with the data for being a mutant. Then jonah heads to england after that, towards a company which was a part of the nazi organization, which was located at a local town somewhere outside oban, UK.

"Whats the status of the stones?" Jonah

He was now at the underground facility where he also borrowed ibrahim from ahmed.

"Sir, the stones are glowing as suspected, but the monsters inside wont appear!" A scientist said

"Alright then, though you do remember never to touch them right?" Jonah

"Yes sir, we all remember. Anyways, who is he?" That scientist said pointing at ibrahim

"He is ibrahim, and he will identify the stones for us. But for now, is the table ready?" Jonah

"Yes sir. And are you sure you want to proceed with this?" That scientist said

"Yes, by all means. If you have more to complain to me about how dangerous the operation will be, go to my secretary for an oppointment." Jonah

"Why? What do you mean?"

"It means i dont have time for complaining idiots, now lets go dr selvic." Jonah said before the walked towards a room

There at the room, they prepare the procedure for mutant modification.

"Alright, everything is ready now sir. Shall i proceed?" Selvic

"Sure, go ahead." Jonah said being a bit pissed

"Alright." Selvic said before he injected jonah the syrum with the viruses

After a while of waiting, jonah could feel his brain is expanding a bit, and his body a bit in pain as he couldnt move due to the restraints from the operating table. Then suddenly, he felt like never before in his life has he ever gotten his first shave, fresh like a shiny apple.

"Get me out of these restraints!" Jonah said ordering them to release him. "Whats the status of my own ecg doctor?"

"It shows a spike in brain activity sir." Selvic said as he looked at the laptop

"Good. Now what do i do next?" Jonah said questioning them, but no answer. "Hahh.. i will do it myself then."

Jonah then gets the laptop and searched for the video of jakes training, and imitated it.

"So its like this, you first feel the power from within you, then channel that power towards your hands and release it. Its then that you should use your powers, i think." Jake said on the video

"Alright then, feel the power within you jonah, then channel that awesome power to your fingertips." Jonah said before he posed for an energy blast from his hands (haduken), to nothing happened.

Confused on why it isnt working, he then turned to the doctor to ask, only to find them doing the same pose as he did.

"Wait, if my theory is right.." jonah said before facing them again. "Doctor selvic, i order you to fetch me that laptop!"

"Yes sir." Selvic said before picking up the laptop and giving it

"As i figured, my power is mind control. So according also to the video, i need to control it as well right?" Jonah said before snapping his fingers

"Wh-what happened?" Selvic said along with all the other scientists who were affected

"Doctor, you wont believe what power i have." Jonah said before he explains about his powers

After that, he went straight for the rooms where the stones were held.

"Sir, we still need to run some tests on you to make sure--" selvic said while walking

Jonah cuts him off, "shut up doctor, i feel fine as it is!"

"But still--" selvic

Jonah cuts him off again, "or do you want to be mind controlled to stop talking?"

"Alright then." Selvic said as they arrive on the rooms

"How are the stones?" Jonah said after opening the door

"Sir, i dont know how you got a hold of these stones, but they are increadibly dangerous and nearly unstoppable." Ibrahim said walking towards jonah

"Unstoppable you say? You ask someone like me who is also unstoppable myself?" Jonah

"What do you--" ibrahim said before jonah raised a hand and took control of about 5 scientists to walk towards jonah

"Sir, what are you doing?!" Selvic said panicking

"Whoa.. what is going on?" Ibrahim

"what I have is far more superior than your fears over those monsters, so tell me, what are they?” jonah pointed to the stones

“yeah, what are they? No matter how much we feed power to it, it wont activate or materialize.” selvic

“thats because these stones are parasitic, and wont materialize unless you will sacrifice a human to it. Though I would advice not to activate at least 2 of these, since you wont be able to control it.” ibrahim

“and what are these 5 stones that you wont let me activate at least 2 of them?” jonah

“these are the classes of the stones that you have, even though I strongly suggest not activating them at all. Vampire, werewolf, dullahan, gorgon, and wendigo.” ibrahim

“so? I can control them with ease with these new powers of mine.” jonah

“sir, if I may borrow jake burns words, ignorance is truly bliss.” ibrahim

“tch! You have a point. Fine then, which should we not activate then?” jonah

As jonah said that, selvic could only fear of whats to come.

After a few days of training their powers, the new mutants had already gone back to their respective countries.

“hahh.. if only something were to happen.” paipai said as she was bored lining up the items

They were now back at the store where all of them were to be on standby until they are called for. It was also afternoon now.

“be careful paipai, what you ask might come to you. And in a way you don’t like.” ai said as she was calculating this months expenses

“and when did you become this store’s accountant?” paipai

“just now. Haha! Any comments on that?” ai said as sparks flying again

“hahh.. anyways, you now have your powers paipai, so whats stopping you from going back?” jake said as he was at the counter

“general tuba told me that if I go back, I will lose my assylum to the philippines. I cant have that, not after what I have told them about china, which then spread to the US.” paipai
”yeah, your statements about your life in china has already been on the news.” jake

“well, I don’t care about china anymore. Though it would be a shame that I cant get to avenge my parents, as well as not being able to fly, but I guess this is just my fate.” paipai

“dont worry about everything paipai, we are all here, and we can be your new family.” jake said with a smile

“that would be great.” paipai said with a smile as ai hits her elbow to jakes side, blushing

“haha, though wishing for something to happen would be very dangerous, specially when your power is time manipulation.” jake

“yes, I know. You told me that many times.” paipai said as she pouts

But then, right outside of the store, there was a ruckus going on.

“i wonder what is going on?” jake said as the 3 of them checked it out

Just in case, jake locked the store before going to the scene, which is very near to the store. And when they arrived at the scene, they were surprised to see another version of paipai on the street, and with blood coughing.
”wh-what is this?!” paipai said as jake kneels down towards the other paipai

“what happened?” jake said before the other paipai reaches out for the other

Jake then signals paipai to go to the other, before paipai also kneels down to the bleeding other paipai. Then the other paipai touched paipais cheeks to transmit to her some of the future’s memories.

“be careful of the gorgon, and the future.” the other paipai said before she faded away like dust

“what was that about?” ai

“i think she is the future me, sending me memories of myself in the near future.” paipai

“please tell me what you see paipai.” jake

“why?” paipai

“just do it! Before it gets erased!” jake

“o-ok.. I have memories of our next mission, that we will lose thanks to a new threat. Not the monsters that we face, though that is also important, but of a person with the ability to control ones mind.” paipai

“and?” jake

“she said be careful of the gorgon, I remember our fight to be a close one, which.. ugh!” paipai said before writhing in pain with a head ache.

“dont push it further paipai, thats the after effects of when you send memories of the future to the past, time will find a way to make it disappear.” jake
”and why did the other her die?” ai

“because of overuse of powers. You do know that you still cant flow through time, unless some kind of sacrifice must be made.” jake

“how would I know that?!” paipai

“now you know. Anyways, people are staring at us, so we should go back inside.” jake said as he helped paipai stand up

The 3 of them then goes back to the store and turned the sign to closed.

“should we really close the store jake?” ai

“no, mom and dad are still out there shopping some items for the store. Anyways, this is really big news, I should call someone about this.” jake

“no, don’t. lets all just keep it to ourselves. That way, the ripple effect for the consequences of messing with time would just come to us.” paipai

“why is that? Why cant we just say something to jakes parents?” ai
”I don’t know. The words just came right out of my mouth.” paipai

“hahh.. its like this, when one messes with time, it tends to mess back. Most of the time, it kills you while doing it. As an organism and a solid object, we cant flow back in time. Since if we do, something will happen to our bodies. I don’t really quite get it myself either, until now.” jake said while rubbing his temple

“time is really complicated huh.” ai

“be glad ai, that you only have the power of wind with you.” jake
”yes, I am glad of it. Anyways, what now?” ai

“this is really why I said your power is just too powerful for you paipai. And we should just let time flow as it is, for now.” jake

“so we are just going to let time mess with us?!” paipai

“no, I didn’t mean that. I mean to just flow through time, and redirect that what must be redirected, to proceed to a better future.” jake

“there will be someone calling you in about a few seconds from now.” paipai said to jake

“what do I do jake? I don’t want this power! Time is really a pain in the ass!” paipai

“well, with great power comes with great responsibility and sacrifice. Better use it wisely paipai.” jake said as paipai cries and ai tends to her. “I gotta answer this call now.”

“hello jake, thank god you answered.” dutuer said as jake answers the call

“yes sir, what might be the matter?”

“its the queen, shes now calling for you jake. It seems that word got out on social media about some monsters attacking england." Dutuer

"Is london safe?" Jake

"Yes, for now. Though it might not be long until they would become monsters themselves." Dutuer

"What kind of monsters were they?" Jake

"Its all in the news jake, though i will also send you a video on what im talking about." Dutuer

"I see. When will i depart?" Jake

"Now if possible. I have already arranged you a ride towards there, courtesy of the americans." Dutuer

"Ok then, will go pack my things right away." Jake

"Oh, and bring the girls along with you as well, paipai and ai i mean." Dutuer

"Why?" Jake

"Because you will need it, since there is also a recent request for the european union for you as well." Dutuer

"Since when?" Jake

"Just now! Dont ask me of when jake, its a request for you, wouldnt you normally take it?" Dutuer

"Normally, maybe? But i will take it if its your orders sir." Jake

"Good then, i order you to assist our allies in europe and england right now jake." Dutuer

"Does it benefit us any any way sir? Just asking though." Jake

"Yes, the european union and the queen will owe us a debt. Now go!" Dutuer

"Yes sir!" Jake said before dutuer cuts the line

As jake keeps his phone, ai was still tending to paipai which was still crying.

"Paipai, you now get what you wish for." Jake

"What is it? This is totally not the time." Ai

"It is the time ai, she must be strong, now that she has a responsibility to fulfill." Jake

"But arent you afraid of whats to come?" Ai

"Oh.. im afraid as hell alright, but that wont stop me from moving on forward." Jake

"But shes not like you, you know. She needs time--" ai

Jake cuts her off, "we have no more time. We can only delay time, but we cant escape the future, though we can escape the inevitable."

"How can you say all that with a straight face jake? Just how--" ai

Jake cuts her off, "with faith and hope ai, one of the strongest known powers of man."

"If you cant have hope, then your men wouldnt follow huh. Alright, im with you. But what about paipai?" Ai

"Paipai, you said you seek vengeance for your parents death or disappearance." Jake said as paipai looks at him. "At this rate, you cant even squash an ant let alone the white tiger."

"Jake, that was being harsh!" Ai said now angry at him

"No, its ok. Jake is right." Paipai said wiping her tears

"What every warrior needs in the face of battle is respect for death and courage to move forward, do you have what it takes paipai?" Jake

"Then after my parents gets back and take care of this store, we pack our things. Or should we still--" jake

Paipai cuts him off, "no, we go now. Im alright now ai." She also said to ai who was concerned about her

Then after jakes parents came back to the store from shopping supplies, ai explained the situation, before they left to go to their homes to pack. After packing, they all rendesvous on the store where a military truck was there to pick them up, and gone to clark airbase.

"Hey jake! We meet again!" Will

They were now at the hatch of the plane, at the airbase, which it was now night time.

"You here on supplies again?" Jake said as they shook hands

"No, my mission this time is to escort you guys to london." Will

"Ok then, how are chris and evans?" Jake

"They are currently with their families right now, enjoying their break. Anyways, who are those ladies?" Will said referring to the girls at the seats

"They are my students, and my new comrades." Jake

"I see. Well, you do have a good sense of sight, cause they are asian beauties alright." Will

"Haha, but dont hit on them alright? They might be girls, but they are like me." Jake

"What?! You mean to say.." will said astounded

"Yes, they have powers. So the moment someone hits on them, they will literally hit on anyone who does wrong to them." Jake

"Well, its a farcry for what you have been through, but its a start of a new chapter right? New comrades.. what could go wrong?" Will

"You just have to jinx us." Jake said with a facepalm

"Haha, its really an honest opinion you know." Will

"Anyways, lets just get to london right away." Jake said walking towards the girls

"Yes sir." Will said before he also straps into one of the chairs on the other side

With that, they now go towards london, where they also have to stop for refuel along the way.

Now at london, after an overnight of flight, they then head straight for an army reserve center at manchester, england.

"Thank god your here jake burns, our military forces were all wiped out from attacking those monsters."

They were now at the meeting room where the army top commanders and a general was there, on a meeting for a battle strategy

"Just when did this happen?" Jake

"About a week ago sir." One of the commanders said before the general did

"Who told you to speak soldier?!" The general said

"We have already told you to call him--" that commander said as the others agree

That general cuts him off, "shut up soldier! Your embarrassing me!"

"Its ok general, i get the idea now. Hahh.." jake said as the 3 of them sighed as they do a face palm

"Whatever jake, you are only here to help us, not take the lead--" that general

Jake cuts him off, "whatever strategy you impose, you cant win, unless if you have us. But if thats how you treat us, then you can call this whole thing off."

"What?! We requested for you! You should obey us!" That general said as the 3 of them goes out of the room. "Fine! Dont come back here! We can always think of something without you!"

Jake and company then goes out of the room without slamming the door.

"Pride is nothing compared to doing the right thing, right jake?" Ai

"Yes, thats what the gods also taught me." Jake

"So, what now?" Paipai

"We go to europe and hope they know better." Jake said as they flew towards europe

As jake and company flew to europe, the new team just missed each other in the process as the new team enters the camp.

"Hello there general, im natasha sparks, representative for the US." Nat said to the general

"And im dr tod treau, one of the scientists who created frank." Tod said as he stayed right by the window where frank can see

"Im general scott williams, and you guys will be our main batter against this threat that we are facing." Scott said with confidence

"What happened to jake burns? Wasnt there also a call for him and the others?" Nat

"Yeah, i heard that jake burns would be here." Tod said as frank now goes to sleep right outside

"He didnt come." Scott said

"Yes he did!" That commander said

"Whose side are you on soldier?!" Scott shouted

"Im just following his teachings, which makes quite a lot of sense!" That commander said before going out. "Im out of here! Call me only if you need me!"

"Whats his problem?" Scott said to everybody else who was very mad at him

"General, there is a saying with jake burns that is perfect for you right now." Nat

"What is it that that rugrat has that i dont know?! Hes just a measly filipino!" Scott

"He once said, as the gods also said, pride is nothing compared to doing the right thing." Nat said with a serious look

"What?! You thing im being a jerk right now?!" Scott said to the others, which also agreed

"Fine! Jake was here alright! But hes just a filipino! What the hell could he do?" Scott

"Didnt you know general, that our genetic sequences were mostly based on his dna?" Nat

"Which means they are part filipino now. So if you insult them, it would also mean insulting them mutants too." Tod said rubbing his temple. "I cant believe im working with such a ningkapoop."

"what?! how is this possible?!” scott

“also, hes even more powerful than me, even though my power is nuclear fusion.” nat said as this also surprised the commanders

“OMG!” scott was in dismay when he heard about that.

“anyways, we are your team for now. Since you just chased away our best success in winning.” tod

“im going to get some air. Commanders, please relay the plan to them.” scott said before he went outside

“was I too rough on the guy?” nat said to tod, now concerned

“nah. Old guys like him really needs his own medicine.” tod

“anyways, here is the plan.” commander said before he explained the plan to the plan to them.

With the plan explained, they then proceeded to lancaster castle where reports says of monsters around the area, and expanding in area. Meanwhile, on europe where jake and company just arrived..

“hey, who called for help?” jake

They were now at le treport where the french military stationed temporarily there, also since paipai directed them to fly towards there. They were now at the commanders tent where strategies are made.

“thank god your here jake burns!” a general said

“i hope your not like the last general.” ai

“excuse me?” that general said

“sorry for that, jake burns, reporting.” jake

“general anton mercier, thank god really that you are here jake.” anton said shaking hands. “We are having problems right now at paris, where gorgon just appeared. Though when our soldiers came to take care of the situation, our soldiers somehow kills one another instead. The last thing they reported was the sighting of a black smoke with a glowing stone flying around, calling itself the wendigo.”

“did you say wendigo?” ai

“yes, why?” anton

“legends say, that the wendigo is a spirit like monster which takes over bodies of its hosts and kills one another or kills itself.” ai

“and where did you hear about the wendigo ai?” jake

“its an ancient indian legend as I saw in a book, I thought I might be of some use to you if I research about monsters.” ai said with a smile

“thats good, in a way.” jake said before looking at anton “Though what is the current situation right now? Aside from the wendigo.”

“Currently, the gorgon is always moving from place to place. And where the gorgon goes, the wendigo also goes along with her.” anton

“thats quite the troublesome pair. gladly, I have a strategy for them.” jake said to anton, which also surprised his company.

Back with natasha and company, they were now on a landrover towards lancaster castle..

"You think we wait for jake to arrive?" Nat said to tod

"Nah, we are fine by ourselves for now. Besides, we would call him when we needed him the most." Tod

"Yeah, your maybe right." Nat

"Also, we have frank here to protect us." Tod

"What is actually frank? And what is he?" Nat

"Frank is short for frankenstein. You basically see the resemblance right? To frank and frankenstein?" Tod said pointing at frank

"Uhuh.. and why is a monster teaming up with a human?" Nat

"I dont really know myself, but after it was able to drain some of my life, we suddenly have some kind of telepathic bond." Tod

"I see." Nat

"And why did you become a mutant miss natasha?" Tod

"I became one since i adored heroes ever since i was little, cause i grew up in an environment of only brothers and with me as the only sister." Nat

"And what do you think of jake burns? Just a curiousity question though." Tod

"Well, i think hes a really good teacher, and i respect him as the wisest i have met so far. Surely, someone has really trained him that he became as he is right now." Nat

"You really think that? That what he said about gods being real is.. real?" Tod

"Yes, i do think they are real. Cause the way he tells his story on how he was trained sounds as if like they were real, and he also holds death in high respect though, dont know why." Nat

"Weird. Anyways, its really weird." Tod

"No monsters are coming to us right now." Tod

"Its because im radiating slight solar radiation, which is very dangerous for some monsters." Nat

"Seriously? You have been radiating something that could kill me this whole time?!" Tod said as he stood

"Easy, i have only affected our surroundings like a barrier, so you can rest assured about everything." Nat

"Alright then, i will trust you on that for now." Tod said slowly getting back down to sitting
