Chapter 13

Hello there, my name is jake burns, and im now 36 years old. In the past, my life was of a total bummer since my parents just wont let me go out with friends and stuff. But now, my life is going smooth that my parents let me out when i was now of age, and I now even have my own house! Straight from my savings. I now have a stable relationship with a girl named mica yap, which we met at work, and now engaged with. And here is now my story..

“hey mica! Im back!” jake said as he enters the house

Jake just came home from work, where mica and jake was now living with each other, and in jakes old family house.

“how is work jake?” mica said as she was preparing for dinner

“just fine, just like I had hoped they would.” jake said, walking towards the dining room

“i see. Im amazed on how you can handle high schoolers, though im not one to speak.” mica

“haha.. with practice and patience, and lots of patience, then you might be able to master the art of teaching high schoolers.” jake

“yeah, good thing im a preschool teacher, my children are just so behaved.” mica

“so, want to make children then?” jake said, hugging her from behind

“whoa there tiger.. we arent even married yet. Just chill.” mica said, slowly pushing him away

“haha.. is that so? Well, its time for dinner anyways.” jake said as he takes a seat at the table

“well, do you know what day is today?” mica

“yes, the death anniversary of my parents. Just how long has it been?” jake

“it has been about as long as our relationship.” mica

“i still feel a bit guilty, but im glad I didn’t get on that plane.” jake said sadly

“cheer up jake, at least you have me. Though joy didn’t have to move out of the house just to give us space.” mica

“just how could she be now right?” jake
”yeah.. anyways, dinner is ready.” mica said as she turned the stove off

After that, they then had dinner, before making love and going to sleep. After some time, jake had nightmares, of some memories from another time that he is living.

“whoa!” jake shouted as he suddenly woke up

“whats wrong jake? Is it another nightmare?” mica said as she also woke up

“yeah, its another nightmare. But the nightmares were just so vivid to be called nightmares!” jake said, being stressed out

“calm down jake, they are only dreams, they don’t mean anything.” mica

“yes, you are maybe right.” jake said, calming down

“i guess your my alarm clock for the day, i just woke up an hour earlier schedule." Mica said as she looks at the clock by the drawer

"Yeah, let me just go to the shower to freshen up." Jake said as he was about to stand up before mica grabs his hand

"Can we do one more for now?" Mica said with puppy dog eyes

"It just cant be helped, can it?" Jake said before he happily made love to her again

After that, they both showered, ate breakfast, and went to work.

"Hahh.. work again, though this life isnt so bad." Jake said as he was stretching in his chair from checking papers

"Jake burns." An unknown voice was calling to him

"What is it?! Cant you see im busy?!" Jake said as he turned around, to see no one behind him. "Weird." He said before going back to work

"Jake burns.." the unknown voices was calling him again

"Who is it? Who is this?!" Jake said calling out to the voice but no answer again

"Jake burns!" The unknown voices was calling him again and again, like i broken tape.

"Who is it?!" Jake shouted towards the voices and stood up

When he shouted again towards the voices, he was then able to remember broken pieces of the nightmare.

"This has to be a joke, thats right. I dont have powers right now." Jake said as he now has got frgaments of the nightmare, starting with how the marines tried to kidnap him

"Jake, face facts! We say truth!" The unknown voices said

"No way, american couldnt do that to an ordinary person, no way!" Jake

"Yes way, we are testament of our respect to you! Come back to real life!" The unknown voices said

"What?! But im already here!" Jake said before his mind hurted again

"Jake! Fight it!" The unknown voices said

"I have to go to a psychiatrist for this." Jake said as he still couldnt believe what they said

Gladly, no one was around the faculty room yet as jake was doing all that. After that, jake went out early so that he can go to a psychiatrist from the city. Then within a few hours, he arrived at panaon hospital where there was a doctor he needed.

"Doc, whats really happening to me?" Jake said after relaying his story

He was now face to face with a doctor at the hospital.

"I.. i dont really know. What i do know is that it might be a slight schizophremia on your part, which might be caused by stress." The doctor said

"What?! Whats that doc?" Jake

"Its a mental illness which lets you hear sounds within your brain, causing you to believe those voices. And sometimes, become even violent." The doctor said

"Me? Become violent? I have never been violent before." Jake

"I only said sometimes.. anyways, you must take these medicines that i prescribed and some outdoor remedy." The doctor said

"Outdoor and meds huh.. alright then doc, i can work with that." Jake

The doctor then prescribed some medicines that he didnt know of, and went out of the hospital.

"Jake! You have to listen!" The unknown voices said

"No! This is just an illusion created by my mind!" Jake said as he braces for some head pains

When this happened, all the background people were gone.

"Please listen to us jake! You have been brainwashed!" The unknown voices said

"No! This cant be true! I have a life here! And im married! And free!" Jake shouted

"No! Those are mere illusions to keep you contained! Wake up jake!" The unknown voices said

"Why is it that your words sounds more believable that the doctor?! Why?!" Jake shouted as he grabs his head as he kneels down from the pain

"Thats your real you saying that all that isnt real jake! Wake up!" The unknown voices said

"Jake?! What happened?!" Mica said as she suddenly arrives

"Mica? Tell me your real." Jake

"Yes im real jake, dont you love me?" Mica

"Yes, but--" jake

The unknown voices cuts him off, "jake! Focus! Your a warrior and a sage! You must fight it!"

"Jake! Answer me! This is real!" Mica

"No! Come back to us jake! Come back to the real world!" The unknown voices said

"Focus jake! I need you!" Mica

But the more they all said, the more believable the unknown voices did become.

"SHUT UP!!!" jake said with rage

With his roar, a bright light then raged all over, obliterating everything in its path. Meanwhile, about some time backwards, general derik miles is on a meeting with scientists.

"Sir, you just wont believe what we found!" The head scientist said as he was standing with his paperwork on the table

They were now at the meeting room at an unknown facility, where general derik just arrived

"What is it dr jack lock?" Derik said as he took a seat

"Jake burns isnt only mutant! It shows that whereever we cut him, he will just either heal or regenerate!" Jack

"What?! So you mean that he is immortal?" Derik

"In a way, yes. Even when we try to separate his limbs, the separated limb would always go back to the main body one way or another! And without even a scratch!" Jack

"What is he then? We might able to classify him as alien or another specie if its like that." Derik

"Probably." Jack

"So, how is he holding up?" Derik

"We have already figured that we cant separate the stones in his body from him, yet alone separate his limbs." Jack

"But you did get a sample of his limb right?" Derik

"No. since if we separate even just his hand in a container, that hand would shrivel up and turn to ash while the original would regenerate his hand." Jack

"I see. So how is containment holding up?" Derick

"We now currently have about 20 of our best hybrids contain his power, and making an illusion in his mind, aside from the machine sucking up his own power and turning it to electricity." Jack

"So they are all doing good right?" Derik

"Yes, for the meantime." Jack

"What do you mean for the meantime?!" Derik

"Well, literally containing the worlds strongest super hero is a great challenge to all of us, physically i mean. True that we are using virtual reality for this, I mean all 20 hybrids must work together without sleep, so that it can contain his powers!" Jack

"Then lets put another 20 in the myx! Simple as that!" Derik

"Sir, why are you so desperate in containing him? I mean, he has not done any bad to the world." Jack

"He is a threat to the world, and president paul knows it, i know it. So he must be conatined at any cost!" Derik

"Hahh.. Is this because he got you demoted?" Jack said as he seated

"What?! Where did you hear that?!" Derik

"Rumors about it is circulating all around the facility." Jack said with a face palm

"Whatever! Anyways, all of you must produce results now!" Derik

"Oh, we have produced many results alright. We have actually collected much blood and sperm from him." Jack said with a gesture

"Good. With this, the US will now have a fighting chance against every other country, including any monster that will go against us." Derik

"Hahh.. i really feel sorry for him." Jack

"Feeling sympathy on the enemy now jack?!" Derik

"Nothing." Jack

"Anyways, you guys better produce results the next time i visit this place." Derik said as he stood up

"What other results would you want anyways?" Jack

"Like the source of his own lightning, would be an example." Derik

But when derik opened the door, a scientist was running towards the room

"Who are you?" Derik said to the huffing scientist

"Jack! Its jake burns!" That scientist said to jack

"What? What is wrong?" Derik said to the scientist

"The hybrids are saying that they cant contain jake burns anymore!" That scientist said

"What?!" They both said

"Lets go and see dr jack!" Derik said as jack agrees

They then ran towards the section where jake was contained, but as soon as they arrived there, there was only white all over.

"Ugh.. what happened?" Jake said as he woke up

As jake surveys the area and stood up, he found that he was at the side of a hole, in the middle of a ruined land filled with all rubble and destroyed houses. Then it all came back to him, all of his memories, as well as the memories within the illusion. Specially the fact that he was lying down on dirt and rock, being naked, and it was also night time where the cresent planet was high up the sky.

"I remember everything now, though it all seemed so real!" Jake said after careful analysis on whats really happening.

But as when he surveyed the surroundings again, he found some sort of cap which was almost fried, and the wires also cut from some sort of burn. He then analyzed that the only place and only one who could do this to him is the american military, with president paul as one who hates mutants and all that.

"Now look what you guys made me do to this place, and maybe even the whole US. Hahh.. such idiots to even let such a jerk as president." Jake said with rubbing his temple

He then thought of what he would do before flying back to the philippines, before taking to the skies to see the aftermath of what he has done.

"Whoa.. this has to be like a 7 pointer, since i just took down a whole town or city." Jake said referring to the very big damage he did around that city

He then flew south, to see that there were still lights in the next town.

"This is good. Now for the requiem." Jake said before he made a lightning storms all over america

With the lightning storms brewing all over the US, the lightnings then hit ever power grid in every state, causing a massive blackout all over the US, before he also took down all the satellites that are near the US with his electromagnetism.

"That should be enough." Jake said before he descended towards that town he was hovering

There at a local mall, which was closed for now, he then broke inside so that he could steal some clothes and a compass before flying out of the mall, along with smashing some cameras along the way. And with the help of signs in the mall and on the streets, he immediately knew that he was on montana, again.

"Hahh.. president paul really never learns, does he?" Jake said before he flew high up before the lightning clouds dissipated

There, high up in the clouds, he used the compass to know where is west, before he flew towards it. Then after some time of flying, where it was now night time now, he was now back to the philippines. There at his newly built house, where the children was playing right at the parking space, jake finally got back home.

"Children, im home!" Jake said as he descended towards the parking space

"Daddy!" Both children said

"Kids! Time for dinner!--" ai said as she got out of the door only to find jake with the kids

"Jake!" Ai said as she couldnt say anything else and ran towards jake to hug him. "I thought i couldnt see you again!"

"Me too. And im ever thankful of the help that the sacred beasts has given me." Jake

"Dragna and the rest helped you?" Ai

"Probably. Since the only thing that can interfere with magic is magic, and my connection with the sacred beasts is what can interfere with my brainwashing." Jake

"It has been about 3 days now since you have been gone jake, where have you been?" Ai

"Lets both talk inside, and after we settle the kids to sleep." Jake said with a smile

Ai agreed, and ate dinner along with the kids, before getting the kids to sleep.

"Now jake, tell me where you were and what happened." Ai

They were now in their bedroom.

"Just one question ai." Jake

"What is it?" Ai

"Will you still love me after hearing my story?" Jake said being uncertain

"Yes i would, what wife wouldnt want to love their husband." Ai said, soothing him

Jake then told her about his story within the illusion, from start to finish

"It was a good life right?" Ai said as she touches his hand on their bed

"Yes. It was a good life." Jake said as he cried and hugged her

"Did you love your wife the way you do with me?" Ai

"Yes, everyday was as happy as we were together." Jake

"Then they shall pay for what they did to you." Ai

"No, i already did that." Jake

"But How? You just woke up from the most sweetest dream ever." Ai said ending the hug

"Yes, i did. But remember what i just said before? That thanks to my connection with the sacred beasts, i could talk to you like this." Jake

"Actually, it was joy who told dragna that you were missing." Ai

"Really?" Jake

"Yes, everyone has been very concerned that the great jake burns just disappeared. even your parents were most concerned as well when i told them that you were gone by morning 3 days ago." Ai

"Is that so? Then i have to notify them of my arrival by tomorrow." Jake

"Thats good and all, but today was paipais death anniversary." Ai

"Oh yeah, got to set my priorities as well by tomorrow." Jake

"You did say that she will be reunited with her family in the underworld right?" Ai

"Yes, and speaking of it, can you recap with me what actually happened? I need to refresh my memories." Jake

"You need to make sure of the events right? Ok." Ai said before telling him all the events of his life so far

Then after a few minutes, ai was done with the story.

"alright, everything is as I still remembered it to be.” jake
”ok then, lets recap again for what happened these last 4 years.” ai

“i told the world about natasha on what they have done, thats one thing I will remember, since it happened to me too.” jake

“yeah.. the US, or the US president, didn’t quite like that.” ai

“if only I had also gone towards the monitor room to get some video evidence, it would have also saved me some international court time.” jake

“im glad that the court has decided only on half a decrease on your salary for a month, after understanding the situation.” ai

“i still remember nat being so angry that she almost used her powers on the judge, for the verdict.” jake

“now shes living in the philippines, and under new management. I guess she may now be happy here, just like I am with you.” ai said with a smile

“oh yeah, speaking of which, the truth about the nazis was almost found out, all because of frank sanders.” jake

“it was also found that during frank sanders escapade that he has spent quite a lot of money just to hire men, bought 2 cargo ships, bought a sub, and book many appointments.” ai

“yes, that. It really cost him his own life in the end, by the time we found him. Is there any nazi movement when I was gone?” jake

“nope, nothing yet. These last 4 years, they have been very quiet.” ai

“too quiet in fact, though whatever the case may be, I will face all of them head on.” jake said with confidence

“and there is also the fact of the colonization that I forgot to mention, I believe that they have almost finished building settlements for each.” ai

“yeah, one on mars, then in between earth and mars. That is going to be a colossal undertaking by the US.” jake

"There is also the case where you and the sacred beasts moved the alien planet towards the outside of our solar system, where its now circling around the sun as the tenth planet." Ai

"Yeah, and all of it was to avoid the planets colliding with each other." Jake

“well, the US lost some of its confidence anyways due to the fact of how the case with natasha was handled.” ai said as jake agrees

“speaking of which, how is dragna and milky doing? Along with my family?” jake

“dragna and milky is fine, they are living normally now along with joy and your parents.” ai

“i see, thats good. I also need to thank them by tomorrow, maybe after I visit paipais grave.” jake
”oh yeah, the US elections will be around this month.” ai

“just how would the current US president, paul manhattan, be able to handle the pressure now. Once I will deliver my message by tomorrow.” jake
”he probably would be so frustrated that he would find ways to kill you.” ai

“dont even joke about that ai.” jake rubbing his temple

“sorry, I just couldn’t resist due to all the relief that im facing now.” ai said while she smiles and cries

“dont worry ai, you already know that nothing can kill me in this world yet.” jake said as he hugs her
”of course, you make the impossible possible after all.” ai said smiling

“not everything. But I do have you.” jake said before he kissed her

After that, they made love until midnight.

“good day everyone, I would like to announce something once more, a situation so grave that it might even cause a war.” rick

They were now at the malacanang, where jake was sitting at the side, and rick was at the stage.

“just around 3 days earlier, all the people have just wondered why jake burns is nowhere to be seen. Usually, he would take missions on international level, which cant be done by just regular people. But the events that have happened will shock all of you as well.” rick said before turning the stage to jake who also brought the cap

“hello there my fellow citizens, its me, jake burns. Today, im proud to announce, that I was being abducted by the americans ever since 3 days ago.” jake

The statement really shocked many viewers, including many international personalities and people.

“i know right? Just how can the americans really do this? He must be lying. Well, fact is, I was abducted by the americans to be experimented on and to become their guinie pig. But luckily, if I hadnt have my link with the sacred beasts, I would have been trapped there for maybe years now.” jake

“if thats true, how did you get out?” a reporter said

“lets take everything one step at a time shall we?” jake said as that reporter agrees. “Remember the time when I made an announcement about what I did with the hostile aliens? I did negotiate and they didn’t agree, thus that happened to them. Im even glad I survived from the black hole itself! And they treat me like that? You know, if the black hole hadnt disappeared, it would have gone for earth! Though I didn’t also know how that black hole closed on its own.” jake

“i see. So lets go back to the question, how did you get out?” that reporter said

“let me first explain how I was captured. You know, my only weakness, as the weakness of lightning and magnetism are, are non metallic objects. So by using a non metallic cap to transmit magic to my brain, or maybe anesthetic, they were able to capture me and put my wife to sleep. Then were they able to get me towards a chopper, then a cargo plane, towards a secret US underground facility. Where they were able to contain my powers, made me dive into a virtual environment, and experimented on me.” jake

“a virtual environment? You mean virtual reality?!” a reporter said as this shocked everyone

“yes, that one. I will have you know that once you dive into it, if you are not conscious that you have dived into such an environment, you will be trapped there forever. Thats what the US military is now using for their prisoners.” jake

“can that really be done?! I mean, virtual reality?!” that reporter said

“yes, of course. Why you think that flying cars arent the only new tech out there? There is also virtual reality! If used properly, it can be beneficial for mankind. But a military has used it for their own ends, that that is the US military.” jake

“but wasn’t there a law that made making dangerous tools of magic forbidden?” a reporter said

“the law also states that making or managing such tools are left to military supervision, which states that only the military can use it as they please.” jake

“but it isnt the militarys fault, is it?” that reporter said

“yes, with the wrong leader, you get crappy results.” jake

“anyways, underground facility? How did you get out then?” a reporter said

“i told you right? I had my link with the sacred beasts, which is why I was able to snap out of my dream, or from the very realistic illusion. After that, I forgot what happened, though it seems I went berserk.” jake said with a smile

“what?!” they all said

“what happened then? When you got berserk? Can you explain to us?” a reporter said

“currently, I can manage my powers that only very little electrical radiation comes out of me. But I currently control enough power to destroy the whole planet.” jake

“what?!” they all said

“Gladly, I think that the sacred beasts manage to control all that power, and was only able to destroy a whole town instead. Rest assured, the lives of innocents who died from that quake will be on me.” jake

“but we didn’t receive any news about that, or about any news at all from the US!” that reporter said

“thats because as a penalty for their crimes done to me, I served justice my way.” jake said seriously

“im afraid to ask, but what was the penalty?” that reporter said

“oh, i just destroyed their power grid and destroyed the satellites which are in orbit around the US that moment, you may never know which ones are the ones they use for their brainwashing.” jake said with a gesture

“What?!” they all said

“excuse me jake, but isnt that going a bit overboard?” rick said as he stood

“but considering what they did to me in the past, as well as what they just did, I think its just fair retribution for them.” jake

“ok then, though might this end up in a war with the US? Also, will the US be able to rebuild their power grid in time?” rick

“knowing what the US can do, it may take 3 days to fix everything, but who cares!” jake said with a gesture

“hahh.. we will end up in a war between the US and the Philippines.” rick

“dont you get it sir? The real reason why im opening a press conference now?” jake

“wait, the US elections!” rick said as everyone agrees

“yes. Bring down his ratings, and he wont get reelected. Though he might have some bit of power left, but I will take care of that, personally.” jake said with glowing eyes
”whoa there, its already enough that you made a scene internationally. I will deal with political matters, when I need you, I will just call you. Alright?” rick said as he sat down again

“yes sir, but don’t blame me if a town will go down again if they manage to capture me.” jake said with a gesture

“hahh.. fine. I will arrange some security in your house, and place you under strict observation.” rick

“sure, am welcome to more security on my house.” jake

“anyways, the americans just wont move without a reason to do so right? There must be a reason.” a reporter said

“alright then, let me give it to you. One, the US president doesnt like mutants. Another would be that many would want to study me and become me. Many would like to give birth to my child, just like a rock star. And many want me dead, since I get in the way of their own business.” jake said as the reporters laughed a bit. “really, I mean all of it.”

“so what kind of life did you experience in the virtual reality?” a reporter said

“a normal life, one without powers, one where I just had a normal job and family, one where I finally had the love of my life, and one where my world was at peace.” jake said facing the ceiling, with a tear on his cheek and a broken voice

“it must have been some illusion, if it were me, I wouldnt have woken up from such a sweet dream.” rick

“yes. and whats more, they used that very sweet dream to mess with my mind, and do experiments on me! How dare they!” jake

“well, you are a mutant, and we are humans right?” a reporter said

“the day where humans call other humans different would be the day without peace, remember what I just said.” jake

“what do you mean?” that reporter said

“it means that no matter what race a human is, a human is always a human, is what he means. If you don’t get it, then just shut up.” rick

“thank you mr president.” jake said with rick agreeing. “anyways, I would also like to say something, how do you think I can keep up with all my lightning?” he said as it got everyone thinking and confused

“well, you are the chosen one right? You said that before.” a reporter said

“your body is made out of rare metals or something?” another reporter said

“isnt the lightning given to you by the gods? Then that must be it!” rick

“wrong on all answers. Remember what I said before? That im a combination of mutant and magic?” jake

“yes, you did say that.” rick said as the reporters agree

“i will be telling you my secret right now, for everyone to be enlightened, so that everyone wont be targetting me that much. My mutant power is regeneration, and my lightning comes from the gods, thus its a combination of magic and mutant. So with the power of lightning only, my skin would have burns all over it from by now, am I right?” jake

“so you have the speed, the strength, the power, and the regeneration?! thats like cheating right?” rick said as the reporters agree

“yes, it may be a bit of cheating, but do remember that I still have my weaknesses. And with speed healing and regeneration, which is why I am capable of handling my powers when I go all out.” jake

“so your saying that you are practically invincible?” a reporter said

“no, im not. You think that those with the power of regeneration are invincible? Nope, they arent.” jake said with a gesture

“i see.” rick

“and another thing, you now see these stones on my skin?” jake said, showing off the 2 stones on his hands

“yes, what is it? I have been meaning to ask you that for a while now.” rick

“these stones are the proof of each others trust with the sacred beasts. If it werent for these stones, I wouldnt have been able to save the earth against the aliens.” jake

“wait, what?!” rick

“you heard me now and before. when a giant laser was aimed right at earth, capable of destroying a planet, I was there along with the sacred beasts to stop the laser. Though we did make a black hole at the same time due to that.” jake said with an uncertain smile

“seriously?! you did all that?!” rick
”yes, just like I said I did. Also, I can summon the elements now, with my connection with the sacred beasts.” jake

“just how many stones do you have jake? And are that different from those power stones?” rick

“yes, they are very different. These stones are made out of compressed magic from the user, or from the sacred beasts themselves, thus they can channel all the power they want to give to me all they want.” jake said as rick was rubbing his temple

“before you said you were only able to take out a whole continent, with a consequence of 3 days of sleep. So you are telling me that because of those stones, you were made even more powerful than before?” a reporter said

“yes, though my weaknesses will stay the same.” jake said with a gesture

“i see.” that reporter said

“though I would like you guys to know, that when I was outside space time and met death god, he told me that this new age where science and magic will get even more dangerous. So without me, you guys would be toast by now from all the mistakes the other guys are making.” jake

“just like the sanders brothers.” rick

“exactly.” jake
”but just how dangerous can it get? I mean, we got flying cars and it isnt dangerous.” a reporter said

“for now, I mean, think about it. With anti gravity tech, you can practically make a new type of nuke that might be able to take out a whole planet itself!” jake said, stressing out

“whoa, im no scientist, but it might be possible.” rick said, after thinking

“normally, I would approve of integration between science and magic, but its just too dangerous to leave into a mad mans hands!” jake

“oh, you are now referring to president paul again.” rick said sighing

“yes, and now imagine and ask yourselves, which is more dangerous? Me? Or the new kinds of tech? When im even caught using that kind of tech!” jake

“same kind of tech?” the reporters said

“didnt you guys watch the UN meeting? About the new tech that will be combined from science and magic?” jake said with a face palm

“oh, virtual reality was mentioned in that meeting.” a reporter said

“yes. Virtual reality goes like this. The science provides the wires and the cap.” jake said as he lifts the cap that he brought. “then magic, or the manipulation of quantum energies, is then inputted into this very cap. Making you use magic to make a virtual environment for all to be trapped in or enjoy.”

The crowd literally had no comment on the statement.

“and lets put it this way, virtual reality, with the use of magic, can literally also make one see other worlds, dimensions, and maybe even the astral plane!” jake

“what?!” they all said

“imagine the possibilities if you use magic with science.” jake

“i see your point. Anyways, they just told me that we are out of time.” rick

“wait! I still have to read out my letter for president paul! Before he might make any revisions on my letter.” jake

“ok then, I will let you extend just a couple of minutes.” rick

“thanks sir. And don’t worry, everyone will be given a copy of my letter if they want to.” jake said to rick before reading the letter out loud.

Dear mr jerkresident,

"I would agree on general bruce here, if i were noticed about the whole plan, i wouldnt even agree to it!" Tramp

"Just delete it, we dont need his apology nor his ignorance right now." Paul

They then walked outside, and after they walked out, paul sweeped the table of all things in it out of frustration and anger.

As pauls ratings still goes down, he challenges the candidate of the other party for the elections, to a debate 3 days later.

"We are now here ladies and gentlemen! For the debate of the year! Between paul manhattan and percy trident! Oh, and this is your host by the way, barry meadows! Now, lets all have the representatives walk in." Barry

Percy and paul then walks in from opposite sides and shake hands on the stage.

"Before we start, do you have any remarks for the audience guys?" Barry

"If you make me president, i will make this country better than ever!" Paul said with confidence as most of the audience boos him

"As for me, i have no words aside from, watch me and see how i do things." Percy said with assurance as the audience were uncertain what to think

"Alright then, for the first question, what can you do for america?" Barry

"For me--" they both said

"After you." Percy said with a gesture as paul agrees

"For me, i would make more jobs, more money, and more opportunities for the US. Because i wish to make america the greatest country the world has ever seen! Or will ever see! Simple as that!" Paul

"But life isnt always that simple paul, i know you have already contributed much for the country, but everything else is so complex right now." Percy

"What do you mean? And what could you have that would outshine my statement? As the president of the United States of America, i already know the ins and outs of being a president! I can contribute more for the people!" Paul

"You mean all people except mutants and hybrids." Percy

"What?!" Paul

"We all know about your dislike or hatred about mutants and hybrids paul. Then let me ask you this, what made you hate them in the first place?" Percy

"Plans?! What plans? Plans are suppose to be top secret!--" paul

"Come on paul, fess up. In order for the people to like you as a leader, you also have to be transparent on your plans and goals." Percy

"I believe that he is right." Barry

"Tch! Alright then. I will just do what a normal leader would do, lead the people to to victory! Lead this country to greatness! And make this country ever more greater than it once was! Greater than from previous times of previous presidents." Paul said with confidence

"How?" Percy

"For starters, continue what i have been doing up until now. Construction projects, make laws, and etc." Paul

"For answers, thats a bit shallow." Percy said as the audience agrees

"What are your plans for the future of this country then?" Paul

"First off, i would like to build a space elevator, using the 2 way launch system and not rockets, since rockets are dangerous for space travel and all." Percy

"But rockets are the fastest way to space, right?" Paul

"even if airplanes have their accidents if your not too careful with your flight, at least planes are more safer than rockets. Have you heard of the story of the rabbit and the turtle? How the turtle was able to win?" Percy

"Hastiness or expectations will only lead to your doom, while having lesser expectations and speed would get you much safer to the goal." Percy said as the audience gets his point

"Yup, just like what i did with people all arpund me. They know me best, and they support me cause of that, which is why i will and must succeed in this election! Specially in this debate, Under my own hardwork and wisdom!" Percy

"America is a great country! The greatest country in the world i say!" Paul

"For me, america may be the greatest country, but let us not forget about other countries as well. They may be great in their own right, but as fellow humans living in separate countries, we are all still human." Percy

"What was that? Was that suppose to be a line for the president? Or a line for just a man?" Paul said smirking

"That was a line for both types of men, a wise leader is what america needs now in this time of crisis. As the world now heads to a more chaotic era, what is needed is truly the wisdom of a great leader, to pull everyone in the right direction." Percy

"And what are you implementing?" Paul

"Im just implementing that you may not be enough president paul, in this new age." Percy

"And you are, like the one for the job?" Paul

"Yes, if god would let me, and since the american people chose me." Percy

"Thats fair enough." Paul said with confidence

"Alright, to the next question, what are your plans regarding to immigration and international affairs?" Barry

"For me, it would still be the same. I stand my ground for mutants and hybrids as a lesser being than humans, which is why i plan to place a law which makes making mutants and hybrids illegal in the US. God made us all human after all for a reason." Paul

"Hahh.. like i said, you are a madman paul." Percy

"Pride is nothing compared to doing the right thing, right? With me as president, the world should learn from our example. Also, god didnt make mutants and hybrids in the first place right?" Paul said with confidence

"It may be, but which is also the reason why god made the option to enable us to choose for ourselves! Humanity is now at the doorstep to the next evolution, and many others have already opened the door to such an evolution, why shouldnt america also go for it? No matter what kind of evolution awaits, mankind is always mankind." Percy

"Suit yourself. I cant blame you for not understanding my point, since you are not a man of god." Paul

"Hahh.. like i said, no matter what kind of evolution, man is always man. Thus god sees man as himself, not an ugly duckling." Percy

"Alright, to the next question, what are your plans with the economy? Based on recent events." Barry

"Based on recent events? I dont recall anything going on that notes for the economy to be mentioned." Paul

"There is, and its a very recent event at that. The earthquake, the power grid destruction, and the satellite destruction as well! Just how many billions of dollars and lives were lost in the process." Barry

"I would agree to that, how would you able to get the economy back up?" Percy

"Hahh.. fine. First comes first, i would destroy that jake burns if its the last thing i would do. At the same time, make budget to make more satellites! Easy as pie!" Paul

"Hahh.. what you will do will only lead to more destruction, as the ancients once did." Percy

"Whats with the ancients anyways? Its got nothing to do with this!" Paul

"In ancient times, people would always make or build what they like, and destroy what they dont. Which is why i say, that destroying jake is a bad option to make." Percy

“why? Whats jake got to do with the american economy when he is the one who made it fall in the first place?” paul

“and whose fault is it that jake had to do what he did? My advice to you, no unwise dictator has ever lived long enough to see the blue moon.” percy

“what?! what does blue moons got to do with everything? And im not a dictator for christ sake!” paul

“maybe not, but this is a saying for any leader who is fooling enough not to heed a wise mans counsel and become sort of a dictator himself.” percy

“like I said, im not a dictator!” paul said angrily

“relax, its just an example. Im not claiming that its really you, but you just sound like one.” percy said as the crowd agrees

“hahh.. whatever!” paul said, shrugging off the statement

"Alright, to the next question, how would you plan yourself with any present court cases?" barry

“i will fire those who falsely accuse me of anything! If you were one of my employees percy, I would fire you immediately for accusing me of being a dictator.” paul

“well, any person may have a boss, but any person does not have a boss over their own souls. Which is why we are always free to choose whatever path we wish.” percy
