Chapter 18

“today, we are here to celebrate with the triumph of jake burns and his team, in their mission against the monsters. Though a week has already passed ever since their triumph over the monsters, we cant thank them enough for what they have done. Which is why me and the middle eastern leaders agreed to enact a statue in saudi arabia, in remembrance of their valor and courage in handling the situation. Which we also agreed to enact a list of names beside the statue, in stone, of the ones who were lost in the fight against the monsters." Percy said in his speech

They were now at the site in saudi arabia, where jake and his team were invited, along with some reporters and wprld leaders. Where it was also a cloudy day, with dark clouds in the skies.

"Thank you president percy, now we move on to the awarding of medals. Please come to the stage for the awards." King saman saud, king of saudi arabia said

Jake and his team, including kiara, got to the stage to receive their medals of honor.

"And who will take the stage for the honor of answering some questions?" Saud said

"You take the stage jake, you know more than us about the current situation." James said as natasha agrees

"Are you sure?" Jake

"Yeah, you are our team leader." James said as they agree

"Alright then." Jake said before going to the podium to take questions.

"Jake burns, how and why did this series of tragic events happen?" A reporter said

"All i can say is that this has been a carefully planned by the neo nazis." Jake

"Why?" That reporter said

"All i know is the fact that they are to visit the aliens, to maybe negotiate or something." Jake

"How and why would they negotiate with the aliens?" A reporter said

"That, i dont know. I may not know what their plan is, but i do know that paul manhattan is there among the ones who captured the ship and its crew." Jake

"Paul manhattan? Isnt he in prison?" That reporter said

"No, not anymore. The neo nazis probably helped him escape from prison." Jake

"And why would the neo nazis help him get out of prison?" That reporter said

"Their motives are unclear, but it is clear that they might have a common enemy, me." Jake

"And why does aliens come into play if they just want you?" A reporter said

"As i have said before in my report to the world leaders, which was also released, i was almost killed by the aliens. If it werent for the death god sparing me and taking me back, i wouldnt have been here to save the world again. And who knows what more dangers this world will face, now that science and magic have become one." Jake

"So your saying that there is a death god?" A reporter said

"Yes, in a way." Jake said as this caused murmurs among the crowd

"Anyways, so you mean to say that there are a lot of things that you dont know yet?" A reporter said

"Yes, which is why intelligence agencies around the world are now looking into what the neo nazis are doing, and what they may be planning. Which is also why the americans havent yet released the information yet, they may be ashamed of what the former president of the united states has become." Jake

"No comment on that, though do you have at least some information that you can share to us about the event?" That reporter said

"Nope, aside from the fact that paul manhattan has kidnapped the crew of a ship, which was suppose to be used for project apollo. And now headed to space, to make contact with the aliens, in order to negotiate or make a deal with something." Jake

"So, how do you feel after taking care of everything? Slaying all those monsters?" A reporter said

"I feel nothing. There is no winning and losing in a battle or war, its just losing something along the way." Jake

"What do you mean?" That reporter said

"I mean that i just feel nothing, like im just doing my job as the monster hunter, nothing more and nothing less. I dont feel accomplished at all or anything, though im just a bit proud to help." Jake

"About the case with paul manhattan, wont you be doing something right now?" A reporter said

"Yes, actually, a ship is currently preparing for a team to launch into outer space. We plan to engage with paul manhattan and his men, if they may still be alive." Jake

"How do you plan to capture paul manhattan, what if he has been granted protection from the aliens?" A reporter said

"We will try to capture him as much as possible, but the best option for us right now is to kill every alien on site, which might include him." Jake

"But arent you superheros? You will save the day, and maybe, save the villain from himself?" That reporter said

"That is just wishful thinking. Besides, this is reality. We provide hope for all people as best as we could." Jake

"But whats the use of saving people if you cant provide hope for all?" That reporter said

"Ignorance is truly bliss. Next person please." Jake said, rubbing his temple

"Then what are you here for? If you arent a superhero?" That reporter said

"I dont know about the others, but im only doing my best so that me and my team could return home to their families, and go back to mine, since the reason im doing all this in the first place is to protect my family from any evil entities." Jake

"But--" that reporter said

Jake cuts them off, "look, its up to you if you will name us as superheros, but we cant always save everyone. Though we try our best to give hope to everyone with our very presence. Do you really think that saving the day would give people hope? Its our presence in that very predicament that gives everyone hope, and we also hope we could save as many lives as possible. This isnt the comics, this is real life."

That reporter then didnt say anything more.

"When will you guys go?" A reporter said

"Maybe by tomorrow, we will go towards cresentia, along with all the sacred beasts." Jake

"Sacred beasts?! What do you mean by that?" A reporter said

"There are about 2 kinds of monsters, the regular ones which just eat you and make havoc, and the really powerful ones which has intelligence and can speak." Jake

"Seriously?!" That reporter said

"Yes, and they are as equally powerful as me. Did you know? That my extra power comes from them?" Jake

"And they actually released such monsters to this world." A reporter said

"They arent as what you think they are, if you get to know them. Though they are all benevolent, i will give you that." Jake said as joy and natasha agrees

And in that instant, as the questions was suppose to go on, hail suddenly fell from the sky.

"Whoa! Joy!" Jake said among all the chaos

As jake has his own lightning barrier around him, he was able to strick the hail with lightning before it even fall to him

"I know bro!" Joy said as she deploys a thick umbrella barrier around the site

"Guys! Stay within the barrier! So that you will be safe and until the storm passes!" Jake said on the mic

The crowd then slowly notice the hail not reaching them, and calmed down, before following his order, where only a few were wounded from both the stampede and the hail.

"Jake, what could have done this?" Percy said as he walks towards jake

"I have no idea sir, can you call the pentagon about this?" Jake

"They already called." Percy

"Wow, that was fast." Jake said being surprised

"Yeah. It seems that the weather is currently affecting some parts of northern and middle africa, which some parts of the middle east is also affected." Percy

"It may be the weather device that was used on algeria." Joy

"Oh yeah! I almost forgot about that! Thanks joy!" Jake

"So you are saying that the weather device is causing all this?" Saud

"Yes. It will only take little by little amounts of magic to make the molecules in the air unstable, as unstable as our atmosphere already is thanks to global warming." Jake

"My god! We have to make them stop!" Percy said as he suddenly turns around

"Wait sir! You dont even know the cause yet on why this is happening." Natasha

"Right. So, what caused all this? We already know that the weather device is to blame right?" Percy said, turning around again

"Yes, we all fully know what made our atmosphere even unstable, but its also not the final blow." Jake

"Then what caused the weather to go haywire?" Saud

"Its with the release of the monsters." Jake

"What?!" They said

"As some monsters are able to change the weather to their liking, plus other african countries would also like to share and use the weather device, which led to the start of all this." Jake

"So you are saying that all these events are connected in a way?" Percy

"Yes. Since once the weather device is used, which it probably uses magic by the way, it will create ripples of disturbance in our atmosphere little by little." Jake

"Alright, we now have enough evidence to prove your claim about the weather device. I will now inform the other african leaders to never use the weather device ever again." Percy said before he goes down the stage

"I will come to, let me help convince them." Saud said, following him

"Oh, and if they ever continue to use that device, the earth might begin some nasty changes. So please do warn them properly." Jake

Percy stopped in the middle. "If we would threaten them with a nuclear strike? If they would not listen to us?"

"A nuclear strike would only make things worse, not only politically, but maybe environmentally." Jake said as saud as staring at percy

"What? That was a what if situation." Percy

"Hahh.. i hope so. You did nuke some parts of the middle east after all." Saud

"Dont worry, i wont do that again. I promise." Percy

"Fine. Lets go!" Saud said before they both go down the stage

They both then go towards some african leaders, which were also there at the event, to warn and not use the weather device.

"So, what do we do now?" Natasha said to jake

"We cant go yet, since this hail storm would hurt people in the process." Jake

"Then lets get them all to safety first, within a building maybe, since i cant do this all day." Joy

"Sure, and after that, we go as planned." Jake

"Are you sure that i would be part of the plan?" James

"Yes, in fact, we are counting on it." Natasha

After that, they got all the people safely to a building, before they flew towards nigeria.

"Are you sure im worthy of being here master jake?" Lim wei feng said, mutant representative of china

They were now at the ship, where jake and the team just got there, at nigeria, where the ships were also on standby. They were all just sitting inside the ship, as they wait for the others to arrive.

"Yes, in fact, we need you in this mission." Jake

"Yeah, if china were just to shut up when the world is in crisis, i dont know what would happen politically." Joy

"Well, i kinda have gone against the wishes of the president to remain silent. After all, you have gone and meet with me personally." Weifeng

"If anything should come up upon your return to china, just let me know." Jake said with a smile

"Nope, the chinese government isnt like that. Though i dont know with the military." Weifeng

"Anyways, we will always be there for you, if you may need some protection from the chinese military." Natasha

"Yes, i do hope this is the right choice for me." Weifeng

"Yeah, it is a good thing though that you were under the protection of tiger as well." Jake said before looking at the hatch. "Ah, there are the rest of the team."

"Hi tara! its been a long time!" Natasha

"Yes, its been long my friend." Tara said with a smile, tara gaba, indian representative

"And you must be--" jake

She cuts him off, "tamara napolitano, italian representative for europe." She said as she stood and shook hands with her

"One of the second wave of mutants i presume." Joy said as she stood and also shook her hand

"Yes. Though i would have hoped for the great jake burns to teach me of my own powers, i get to go on the mission to save the world instead" Tamara

"So, whats your power again? While we still have time to practice your powers." Jake

"Wait bro! What about the plan?" Joy

"The plan is simple, go to the alien planet and ask the aliens what they are planning to do. Am i right?" Jake said with a smile

"Bro, thats the most irresponsible plan i have ever heard." Joy

"Yeah, i know. But as we have little info about them, we have no other choice but to ask. Besides, if we just attack them head on, it would mean that we are still barbarians right?" Jake

"Yes, but what if they would suddenly attack?" Joy

"Then we fight back, with the 6 of us." Jake

"Yeah, until we get to the surface of their planet right? So that we could ask them what they may be planning." Natasha

"Yes." Jake said with a smile

"Hahh.. fine." Joy said with rubbing her temple

"As this trip would roughly take us about roughly a week, and we still have time until launch, we can still practice for tamara." Jake

"Yeah, sure." Joy

"So, what is your power tamara? And where did you activate your mutant gene again?" Natasha

"Its shield generation. And the 2nd wave are activated in the UK." Tamara

"Can you show us your powers? On how you handle it?" Jake

"Sure!" Tamara

She then forcefully activated her force field, as like a bubble surrounding her.

"I can even enlarge the force field if i wanted to, though i could only shield a group of people." Tamara

"I see. Did you feel being one with around you and to let the shields activate around your surroundings?" Jake

"Really? I havent even tried that yet." Tamara

"Alright. Feel all the atoms around you, tell them to align themselves around this ship, and release their energy." Jake

"Alright, here i go." Tamara said before concentrating

"Remember what i told you, just feel the atoms around you, you dont need to concentrate that hard. Just close your eyes and feel." Jake

"Ok then." Tamara said before she loosens up

As she closed her eyes, she was then able to feel all the atoms around the ship, and imagined the atoms aligning before releasing energy, thus she was able to make a force field.

"Whoa.." tamara said as she smiles as everybody was relieved to be ok.

"Alright, to release the shield, you just have to do the opposite of what you thought." Jake

"Alright, opposite." Tamara

"Meaning she must release negative energy from the atoms?" Joy said as tamara stopped

"Nope, just doing the reverse order of what she thought." Jake

"Got it." Tamara said before thinking the reverse order of things, disable the release of energy, and dispurse the aligned atoms.

"Whew! I really thought that she was going to implode on us." Joy

"Concentration is important, but whats more important is to feel and control the flow, and not to go against it." Jake said with a gesture

"What just happened? We really cant see anything." Weifeng said as tara agrees

"Thats alright, you both dont excel in this field anyways, though you both could do it subconsciously." Jake

"Really? We have really been doing our best to master what you have taught us master jake." Weifeng

"Though for you tara, your laser attacks are ok. Though just dont increase the output of the lasers itself while in space." Jake

"Why is that?" Tara

"Because depending on the output of the attack you put in, against the laser blast from the enemy, it might cause so much gravitational waves that it would disturb space time and cause a black hole to emerge." Jake

"Seriously?!" They said

"Thats also what happened to me during my last fight with thr aliens. I had no choice back then, since it might hit earth if i just dodge." Jake

"Oh, that part." Natasha

"So i just have to hit them with regular laser fire." Tara

"Yes. It might be a very tough battle, but remember, the sacred beasts will also accompany us this time." Jake

"Thats great!" They said as they were relieved

"But note that even the sacred beasts have a difficult time dealing with the aliens, so we must all try our best." Jake

"Roger that." They said

"Oh, and weifeng, i have a request for you." Jake

"What is it?" Weifeng

"Hmm.. wait a minute." Jake said before facing joy. "Joy, is there any asteroid belt around pluto or something?"

"Wait, let me search." She said before searching the net. "Yeah, there are about 2 asteroid belts in our solar system. One after mars, and another before pluto." She said after a few seconds

"Weifeng, when we get to the asteroid belt, can you get some asteroids for you to use?" Jake

"Why?" Weifeng

"So that you can use it during tbe fight." Jake

"Bro, are you expecting a fight between us and the aliens?" Joy

"Most probably, yes." Jake

"Oh, alright then." Joy

"Well, how do you feel right now tamara? You ready to go?" Jake

"Yes. Though a little bit uncertain of things to come." Tamara

"Why?" Natasha

"Since i just got more control of my own powers, and feel that i somehow reached a new level with them." Tamara

"So your uncertain if you can contribute to the team right?" Natasha

"Yes." Tamara

"Well, dont worry about it. Since all you will be doing will be shielding the ship from anything." Jake

"Ok then." Tamara

Then outside, they then heard thunder and lightning roaring in the skies.

"They really like to make an entrance." Jake said smiling.

Jake then goes outside to meet with the sacred beasts, which they were all in their beast form when they descended from the skies.

"Jake burns, we have no time to talk right now. Is your team ready?" Drago said via mind link, the same as with all the sacred beasts

"Yes, they are." Jake

"Good. We will take you there, where its faster." Drago

"Dont you want to preserve your powers for the fight?" Jake

"If there would be a fight. What were you expecting anyways?" Drago

"I was kind of expecting something the same as before, since its the aliens that tried to attack us after all." Jake

“i see. Anyways, let us all try for the peaceful approach, before we fight them.” drago

“yeah, with this number and power, we can surely annhialate a planet if we wanted to.” tiger said with a roar

“yeah, I know. But remember, they have the superior technology or magic. We cant just let our guard down.” jake

“true.” they said

“anyways, lets just go and fight these things!” jack said being a tough guy

“yeah, right.” they said

“lets stick to the plan shall we?” red said

“you should go back inside jake, your teammates might be scared by our presence by now.” black

“lets go now.” drago said as jake agrees and goes inside the ship

Jake then went back inside the ship, before the sacred beasts transforms to their beast form.

"Everyone, strap in. We will be going now." Jake said, as he now straps into his chair

"Wait, what? We leaving now?" Weifeng said as they now walk towards their seats

"Yes. Now buckle up, we in for a ride of our lives." Jake said, before he orders the captain to close the hatch

"Hurry! We dont have much time to prepare!" Natasha said as she now hurriedly straps in

"Why?" Tamara

"These guys usually dont give us a lot of time to prepare, and since this is an emergency mission." Natasha

"O-oh.. yes maam!" Tamara said before hurrying up

And as tamara was able to fasten the last buckle, they were immediately lifted up by drago and off they went to space.

“so its time.” said the alien queen

They were now on the bridge of the ship, where other aliens were also operating on the ship.

“yes my queen.” they all said

“then, we go now.” said the alien queen

“yes my queen.” they all said

With that, they set the ship towards earth, where they were also close to earth, using a cloaking feature in their ship. Their ship was a very big ship, where it was also the size of mars. Meanwhile, with president percy, where he was enjoying a sweet rest at his own bed..

*ring*

“hello?” percy said, picking up the phone after a few minutes of ringing

“sir, this is general bruce. We have a problem.”

“what is it? Its like, 4am in the morning.”

“sir, there is an alien ship that has just appeared close to the moon!”

“you are joking with me, right?”
”in these times sir, do I have the liberty to joke around?”

“good point. Tell me more.”

“satellite imaging shows that the ship is as big as mars itself!”

“after all these series of events, im not even surprised anymore.”

“and thats not all sir, the ship also appeared right when jake and the sacred beasts left!”

“now im surprised, this might have all been planned.”

“yes, and im doubting that it was paul manhattan.”

“probably. Is this info fresh?”

“yes, the news just came in from NASA about 3 minutes ago.”

“good. Then we prepare for what is to come.”

In that instant, there was a transmission directly towards the brain, which every human in the world also had some form of headache.

“people of earth, this is the queen of the cresentians, forward your leaders now towards the white house or else. And not your representatives, we will know if otherwise.” said the voice in the head

“or else what?” percy said as he also hear others say the same thing and many other things in many languages

“damn it! If you want the people of earth, take me instead!” percy

After that, the voices in his head was gone, and so was the headache that they all experienced.

“tch!” percy

“you hear that sir?!” bruce said at the phone

“yes, I also heard it. The voice said that all the world leaders are to meet at the white house.” percy said, picking up the dropped phone

“it also said that the voice was the queen of the cresentians.”

“now I know how jake burns feel about voices in my head.”

“yes, and I for one want to keep my own thoughts for myself as well.”

“with our current tech and mutants, I guess all we could do is to obey.”

“sir, shouldnt we try to make contact with jake burns and his team?”

“yes, you try to do that.”

“what about you sir?”

“i will try to contact all the world leaders if they would go to DC now.”

“and about that sir, news just came in that there seems to be some satellites from the aliens orbiting earth.”

“damn, they might be blocking us from calling jake and his team.”

“what should we do now?”

“you just try to call him from there, I will take care of matters from here.”

“ok sir.” bruce said before percy cuts the line

Percy then walks towards the window, where a lot has been going on in his mind.

“i should have known that paul manhattan was up to no good.” percy said, looking at the night sky from his window

After that, he then called the world leaders, informing them of the current situation and letting them come towards the white house.

“this must be worth it that I have to cancel my plans for the day.” justin truman said, prime minister of canada

They were all now at the lawn, at the front of the white house, where a makeshift stage was immediately made.

“yes, I agree.” takeshi aki said, prime minister of japan, along with other leaders agreeing

“greetings my comrades, I don’t really know as well what this might all be about, though I am just abiding to the aliens demands.” percy said through the mic

“seriously? Are we really that desperate now?" Jaxon lewis said, prime minister of UK, as this caused some murmurs among the crowd

"Yes, unfortunately." Percy said seriously

"Then what about our armies? The mutants and hybrids?" Jaxon

"We are talking about aliens here, the ones who almost defeated the jake burns!" Percy

"Are you sure about this?" Jaxon said, as even some couldnt believe it

"Yes." Percy

"In fact, it was already in the news once. Dont know if the news reached you guys." Rick bautista said, the current president of the philippines

"And we also confirm it. General bruce and NASA were keeping track of jake on his fight against the aliens that time, and a black hole almost ate jake burns." Percy

"My god." Justin

"The aliens are here!" A world leader said as he notices them from the skies

And there, an alien ship the size of the white house, floats above it. Then a teleporter beam teleported one of the aliens to the ground, where some of the leaders moved aside. The aliens were all sentient beings which has pale white skin, a human like thin body, and a mantis like head with a big insect eyes and insect mouth.

"Are these all the leaders of the world?" The alien said, mimicing sounds with his insect like mouth

"Why do you ask?" Percy said, stepping forward from the crowd

"Her majesty wishes to see you all, kindly step back." That alien said

"Where should we step back?" Percy

"From your side, you all should step back." That alien said as it looks at percy and the others, before percy agrees

"Guys, we should step back a bit." Percy said, signaling the other world leaders to step back

Then after they moved a bit, a bigger beam beamed down the ground, and teleported the queen. The queen was human like, a beautiful woman in fact, but her insect like eyes remained big and with a human mouth, and she was also about 9 feet plus tall, and with her head glowing from all that brain power.

"Greetings earthlings." The alien queen said, with a voice of many female voices.

"What do you want from us?" Percy said with a serious face

"We only want peace." The alien queen said

"Peace you say? There has to be a catch!" Percy

"As the new queen of the cresentia, it is my new mission to make peace with you earthlings." The alien queen said

"New queen? Does this mean that the old queen was dead? And who are you really?" Percy

"Yes. And i am what has become of paul manhattan, along with 2 more other people which was merged with my own brain." The alien queen said

"So thats what happened. Anyways, what do you want?" Justin

"Heed my proposal earthlings, i propose for a truce between our races. In exchange, i will present to you technology beyond compare." The alien queen said

"And if we refuse?" Rick

"You have no choice aside from this. Your so called, mutants, cant stop what is coming." The alien queen said

"Alright then. So, what kind of technology should you give us? Which we also dont have." Percy

"What? You side with them?!" Rick said as everyone else agrees

"What choice do we all have? It took jake everything he had fighting against these aliens!" Percy said as the rest gritted their teeth from the fact

"Very well then. Based on your current level of technology and capabilities, i shall present to you, the technology of the exocortex." The alien queen said

"What does that do?" Percy

"Its a huge mechanic cortex which is used to connect the minds of all people in the planet." The alien queen said

"Wait, that would only mean that everything that we know would be out in the open!" Rick

"Secrets revealed, mind control, you name it! We would also all be under them!" Aki

"But this would also eliminate wars from happening, and connect us all in a way you couldnt bring yourselves to do in a million years." The alien queen said

"Yeah, but as jake said, ignorance is truly bliss!" Percy said as they all agree

"Why is it that you earthlings would refuse to take what must be taken?" The alien queen said

"Its not a question of why, its a question of what! We are humans, and thats what makes us who we are!" Rick

"Yeah! Thats why we shall resolve our own issues ourselves!" Percy

With that said, everyone voiced their own opinions on what made them refuse such an offer, and with the uniqueness of humanity from all other species.

"Enough! You all have no choice on the matter! Accept my offer or perish!" The alien queen said, angered

"No! Today, we take a stand! For all of humanity! For our individuality! And for our freedom!" Percy

"Even if it means going down to the last man or mutant, we shall never give up our freedom!" Justin said as everyone seriously agrees

"Well then, you leave me no other choice but to use force." The alien queen said

After that, the queen commanded the other aliens to use their exocortex aboard the mothership to control the people on earth.

Back with jake and the others, as they just pass by the asteroid belt after mars, they stopped.

"Whoa! I thought we were going straight to pluto within an hour or so?" Natasha

"Wait everyone, the sacred beasts are trying to tell me something via link." Jake said with a gesture for them to quiet down

"Jake, we have a problem." Red

"What is it?" Jake

"It seems that the cresentians have arrived on earth." Drago

"What?! Please tell me the details." Jake said with a serious face

"Long story short, milky was undercover at that time. And she said that the beings have now come, and is now trying to take control over the world as we know it!" Dragna

"Damn it! I should have known!" Jake

"What is it bro?" Joy said as the rest of them grew concerned

"The cresentians are on earth! And they are now trying to do a mind control over the whole planet itself!" Jake

"What?!" They all said

"What do we do now?!" Weifeng

"Nat, can you handle the team?" Jake

"Yes, i can." Natasha

"Joy, i want you to be backup just in case." Jake

"What you got in mind bro?" Joy

"I was thinking that you guys should go towards cresentia while i go back to deal with them back on earth." Jake

"Did they say what is happening there on earth?" Joy

"Nope, but i think they are up to no good." Jake

"How will you get there?" Weifeng

"Dont worry, i will have the sacred beasts fight with you, while i go with dragna towards earth." Jake

"Alright bro, be careful alright." Joy

"Yeah, i will." Jake said as he unbuckled from his seat

"How do you intend to go there? Isnt it space outside?" Weifeng

In that moment, as jake got close to the isolation room, he equipped his sacred armor out of thin air.

"Any questions?" Jake said, where they all had nothing to say. "Good, once you are all done in cresentia, go back immediately with the sacred beasts alright?"

"Yeah. As it stands, earth is now very vulnerable, since all of us are here." Natasha

"Really?" Tamara

"Yes. Since the only ones who can fight them head on are mostly us big 3: jake, natasha, and me." Joy

"Anyways, lets all stick to the plan." Jake said before he opened the isolation room, and before he opened the hatch

"Lets go dragna, you will be enough." Jake said as he flies towards dragna

Jake was now talking to the sacred beasts with the mind link.

"And what about us?" Tiger

"Can you guys fight alongside my sister and her team? It will mean a lot to me." Jake

"Alright child, i accept." Red

"Yeah, count us in." Tiger said while the rest of them agreed

"This isnt the time to argue, so i agree for now." Black said a bit reluctant

"Anyways, what would you do jake?" Lotus

"For me, dragna and i will have to go back to earth to defeat them." Jake

"Jake, milky said that the queen is also there." Dragna

"What?!" Jake

"I shall go along with you then, for assurance." Lotus

"It will be reassuring for you to be with us mother lotus." Dragna

"Alright then, lets all go." Jake said as everyone agrees

Jake, dragna, and lotus then took off towards earth, where the others left for cresentia to finish things off. Then after some time, joy and her team got to cresentia, which was also moving towards earth by then and was now near jupiter.

"Look guys, is that what i think it is?" Tara

"Yeah, we can see that." Weifeng

"So thats cresentia." Tamara said as they were all now staring at a distance from the cresent planet.

"So, what now?" Weifeng

"We go with the plan, locate paul manhattan, the ship, the crew, and destroy the planet itself." Natasha

"Yeah, lets go for it." Joy

They then suit up with their customized space suits, which is customized for mutant battle in space, before they landed towards the moving planet itself.

"Be careful out here, you will never know what might hit you." Natasha said as they all were walking

The planet cresentia was now a cresent shaped planet, which also has air, or whats left of it.

"Yes maam!" The team said

"What about you sacred beasts?" Natasha said towards drago

The sacred beasts were now transformed to their human forms by the time they landed, which they were all without their space suits and just being themselves.

"We shall remain here, where you might need us." Drago

"Maybe i shall come with you guys, i smell an adventure." Jack said happily

"Fine, as long as you shall behave yourself." Drago

"If he can." Black said, being the brains of them all

"What was that?" Jack said, being a bit pissed off and goes towards black

"Enough! Lets all stick to the plan, alright?" Drago said, separating them. "Now go along jack, do your stuff."

"With pleasure." Jack said happily as he goes with the team.

There at the planet, while joy was off flying to scout the entire area, natasha remained with the team to scout on the ground, as she is also the team leader. Meanwhile, with jake and his team..

“we are now near earth, but why is it I feel that the planet might be sleeping or something?” jake

“that is because, it might be.” lotus

“jake, what do you think of all this?” dragna

“i have a bad feeling about this.” jake

“yeah, since milky said that the world will be put into a state of mind control. We still don’t know what really had caused the event, but I think the world will be in a state of chaos after this.”dragna

“yes, and it will spell badly for all of humanity, unless if someone stops--” lotus

Jake cuts her off, “look! Its earth!”

But when they looked at the planet, there was also a moon sized spaceship which has parked its way right above the planet.

“thats them huh..” jake

“yes, thats them. The cresentians as you people call it.” lotus

“lets hurry up towards the planet, before its too late--” jake

But in that moment, the moon sized mothership then moves towards jake and the others.

“seize your foolish journey jake burns, your planet now belongs to the cresentians!” said a loud voice which vibrated to their brains.

“what was that?!” dragna said as they all stopped

“whats this feeling? Its as if fear is taking grasp down through my very core.” lotus

“i know this feeling, but don’t give up just yet you guys!” jake

“you are right jake, this is only little compared to the fear of what we will lose in exchange, if we don’t succeed in this mission.” dragna

“what mission are you people talking about? What brings you to hope for this chaotic world of yours?” the voice said as the ship got closer to them.

“sure, our world may be chaotic, but it also has its beauty in it. One cant just learn from being only one entity or being told, where is the freedom in that? This universe was made imperfect, as it is already perfect." Jake

"Quite the good reply there jake." Lotus

"Which is why it will take patience and universal understanding to understand such words, or is it that you are not of this universe?" Dragna

"What?!" Jake said surprised

"Good perception. Yes, we are what you call, those from another dimension." The voice said

"I see. Whats a dimension?" Dragna

"Its like another place, or another universe, existing beside our own." Jake

"Anyways, what have you done with all the creatures on earth?" Lotus

The mothership then stopped right in front of them, with their queen on sight, right at the ships bridge.

"We did nothing really, but just unified all creatures on your planet." The queen said, as the voices speaking were the queen and the others as well.

"What?!" Dragna and lotus said

"This is certainly a grave situation." Jake said seriously

"Why is it grave? Why do you creatures not seek to be one? That way, there would be no chaos." The aliens said

"Like i said, we are a limited type of life form, thus chaos is needed for us to grow. Also, where is our freedom in being one with each other?" Jake

"No, you are all free. By the time all creatures in your planet became one, every creature is free! All kinds of borders are even disabled!" The aliens said

"But what is the point then of us being human? Being human means to also make mistakes along the way, and learn from them, and grow! What your doing isnt helping us, its just taking the easy way out of everything. Well, there are no shortcuts in life you know." Jake

"Nicely said!" Lotus said, applauding

"Yeah, nicely--" dragna said as she also applaud

The queen cuts them off, "enough!" She said as she points towards jake and the others

In that moment, jake and the others had a sudden headache as the exocortex tries to take control of their brains.

"Sorry pal, but it would take more than that to control us!" Jake said, as they struggled to resist the mind control

"Then we will also--" the queen said

Jake cuts the queen off, "not so fast!"

In that moment, jake then hit the mothership with his lightning, where lotus and dragna also followed by hitting it with almost everything they got.

"What?! No way!" The queen said as the shields are failing

"Oh, and we also havent hit with our full power yet." Jake

"Hit them with our laser canon!" The queen said

Then as the alien ship charged their laser canons, jake noticed it.

"Oh no you dont! Girls, time to increase the output to 80 percent!" Jake

"But that would--" dragna

"Right now, i can sense from the huge spike of electrical signals that the machine used to control all creatures, is inside that ship!" Jake

"So if we destroy that ship, earth would wake up!" Dragna said with a thumbs up

"Im in." Lotus said, as both of them gave everything they got

Then After a few seconds, the alien shield barrier broke and their attack plunged towards the ship. But as the attack got through the shield, there were also lasers which counters their attack.

"Watch out!" Jake said before he shielded both of them with his lightning

"Thanks!" Lotus said before all 3 of them took a step back.

"Now what?" Dragna

"Lets all attack the ship while moving and spread out. That way, they wont be able to hit us with their lasers." Jake

"Thats fine with me." Lotus

"Note that the mission now is to destroy the ship containing the device." Jake said as they all agree

They then go towards the ship and spread out. Jake goes on top of the ship, lotus goes to the right, while dragna goes to the left. And once they were all in position, they went all out and attacked the ship. But as the ship has its remaining shields near it, they all had go all out again so to break the shields.

"Darn it! Just how many barriers are there!" Dragna said as she was still attacking with her energy breath

Then after some time of attacking the ship and dodging the laser attacks from the ship, they were finally able to break through the barriers and hit the ship. And in a last spurt of energy from all 3 of them, they blast their way inside the ship before the ship closed itself.

"Whew! We finally got inside. Now to destroy this ship from the inside." Jake said before blasting at the wall with his lightning, towards the center of the ship.

After some time of blasting their way towards the center of the ship, all 3 of them met up at the center. The center of the ship was very hollow, as if they have their own eco system.

"We all thought of the same thing huh." Dragna said as all 3 of them were floating

"Yes, and we might have even also found the machine that is controlling everyone." Lotus

"Whats with that giant brain?!" Dragna said, feeling disgusted

"Damn, thats an exocortex! Guys, lets destroy this thing now!" Jake

The exocortex was a giant brain which is the size of a thousand brains put together.

"I couldnt agree more." Lotus

"Is there an off switch on this thing?" Dragna

"No time to explain, just destroy it!" Jake said as he strikes the exocortex

In that moment, there was laser fire coming in all directions, from aliens carrying laser guns to laser weaponry.

"We will buy you some time with it jake! Just do your stuff!" Lotus said before attacking the aliens

"Alright then, lets rock!" Dragna said as she assists lotus in getting rid of the aliens

As jake attacks with all his might, there were still barriers around the exocortex to destroy, which requires a little bit more time than usual. Then after a few more minutes of fighting, jake was now able to penetrate the barriers and destroy the exocortex.

"Eww.. Its all gross all around, after you have destroyed that thing." Dragna

"No matter, as long as jake has destroyed that machine, earth is safe." Lotus

"But there is one more exocortex where that came from." Said a voice that penetrated in their heads

In that moment, before they could even act, the alien queen attempted to control their minds, which made jake and the girls have a bad headache.

"Why are you doing all this, jake burns?" Said the alien queen, who appeared before them very elegant and beautiful

"Why you say?! Its for the sake of the world! To save it from your control!" Jake said as they were resisting the mind control

"For what sake exactly? Your world is always fighting, dont you want to bring peace to the world?" The alien queen said

"No, im here to bring balance and justice for the world, whether they like it or not. Sure my battle is wasted in some aspects, but its not totally wasted!" Jake

"Yeah! Hes got friends who will help him!" Dragna said as lotus agrees

"Then i shall start from all of you then." The alien queen said before she amplifies her powers

"Damn you! I wont let you!" Jake said before he attacks the queen with all his power

In that moment, the load lessened and the two of them also attacks the queen, but laser fire rains upon them.

"We will hold them off jake, you handle the queen!" Lotus said as they agree

"Why do you resist jake burns?" The queen said during their head on energy attack

"I resist not only for humanity, but for the sake of my family on earth!" Jake

"Your efforts are wasted." The queen said

"At least we agree on one thing." Jake said before he moves to dodge the attack

Jake then flew towards the queen for a hand to hand combat, only to have all his moves dodged. After some time of combat, when the queen finally went for the attack, jake also finally caught her hand when she was about to do a laser blast in her hand. Then jake electrocuted the queen, before getting close to her face, smiling, then charging her with an energy blast in her face without uttering a single word to each other.

"With this, its over." Jake said before he blasts her body with multiple energy blasts, disintegrating her into atoms. "The moment you aliens stepped on our universe, our laws now slowly apply to you."

"Jake! You did it!" Dragna said as she and lotus flies towards jake

Then jake descended and kneeled on the ground out of exhaustion.

"Jake! What happened?!" Dragna

"I guess i am tired, thats all." Jake

"Get him back to his house right now! He needs rest more than we do. I will destroy all of whats left here." Lotus

"Got it." Dragna said before she punched a hole on the ground using her energy blast and flies back towards earth

After some time..

"Ughh.. where am i?" Jake said as he woke up from his bed

"Jake! Your awake!" Ai said, which she was at his side the whole time

"So im back huh." Jake

"Yes, your back. Safe and sound." Ai said before she hugged him

"How long was i out? And what happened during that time?" Jake

"There was quite a lot of things going on while you were out for 3 days." Ai

"3 days huh, oh well. Tell me all the news of what happened." Jake

"Dont you want to greet your children down stairs?" Ai

"I want to, but i want to know everything else before that." Jake

"Alright then." Ai said before she told him of the news for the past 3 days

"So in short, there has been some re-elections going on with the governmemt these past few days cause of what the people now know about them, the mission on cresentia was a success, and earth was saved thanks to us." Jake

"Thanks to you jake, i heard from dragna, you took on the queen all by yourself. Which is why you were very exhausted." Ai

"Yes, your right. So, how did the mission go? Since it was successful." Jake

"We can talk later during lunch, since everyone is coming over." Ai said with a smile

"Alright then." Jake also said with a smile

With that, jake was able to be reunited with his family and friends, and the world was saved with balance restored.
