“your sister has been kidnapped!” eva

“what?!” josh said as he stopped when he was now almost at the entrance of manila airport

“yes, she was supposed to be at the hospital, still recovering with her injuries. but by the next day, shes gone!”

“i see, hold on mom. Let me contact the souls on who might the culprit be.”

“wait, before you do that, you okay right? Your not hurt in any way.”

“yes mom, im not. though I might get hurt a bit for this next mission.”

“mission? What mission?”

“saving jade.” josh said before he cuts the line

He then hurried towards the exit where he sat on the waiting area for the taxi.

“oh souls, please tell me what I need to know. Calling of souls!” josh said under his breath when he was sitting

With “calling of souls”, he can call on any soul around the whole city, as his radius of effectivity. After about 5-10 minutes of waiting, souls from around the city gathered towards him.

“is it you who called us?”

“yes, I have got no time to explain so I will just directly ask, can you ask all the souls in the whole philippines and ask what happened to my sister, jade mavric?” josh said in a low voice

“got it. Will come back as soon as we can!”

“who you talking to dude?” the person before him asked

“just souls, since I have a third eye.” josh said with a smile

That person then didn’t ask for any other question as he thinks of him as insane. Then after a few minutes, josh was able to hail a taxi and got to the same hotel that he stayed in before in manila. As the flight from tokyo to the philippines happened at night, after taking a quick shower, he then got a call from an unknown source.

*ring*

“hello, may I know who this is?” josh said as he sits on his bed

“hi josh mavric, this is general cesar hail from the pentagon. We would like a word with you.”

“so, the pentagon called at last, what business do you have with me?”

As josh was on the phone, the souls before came back.

“josh, we know who kidnapped jade mavric!”

“hold on general, I have some visitors. Please wait.” josh said before putting down his phone. “where is she now?”

“shes at the pentagon where shes being treated and her blood taken for testing.”

“she also did prove that she can fight on her own with her powers, but after they explained some kind of mission for you, she immediately agrees.”

“well, shes got no other choice on the matter anyways, based on her condition. Thanks a lot.” josh

“if its for the great josh mavric.” the souls bowed before they disappeared

“as you were saying general.” josh said after he picked up the phone

“from your voice over the background, I guess you more or less guess the situation your in.”

“the situation im in? I should really be the one asking you that general. Do you want a war?”

“whoa, hold on there. Im not asking for one nor does the US military want anything from you.”

“then why are you calling me? And even taking my sister as a hostage.”

“its just to insure your compliance.”

“i see. Compliance or not, I will do the mission depending on the information im getting.”

“really?!”

“yes. Though I should also thank you, even if your also the ones responsible for me being like this now.”

“for what exactly?”

“for sending soundwaves not visible to the naked ear, and mind controlling me, making fun of me until your satisfied. So that your client can kick me out of the company.”

“that information is classified, and im not indulged with sharing it with you.”

“your “pride” does get in the way, please tell me the truth.”

With pride, he can control someone with their pride and make them do anything possible just for their own pride.

“my pride isnt in the way! And yes! We did all that just for the client! We even had you under a voodoo spell! We have also been observing you for the last few years from our operation eagle eye for we felt sorry for what we did, but what we found also shocked us!” cesar said before there was a bit of a pause from breathing. “what did you just do to me?”

“is my sister safe there?”

“answer me god damn it! What did you do to me?!”

“like I said, where is my sister?”

“hahh.. you already know don’t you? Shes at the pentagon taking some tests to see if shes alright.”

“are you really telling the whole truth general? Or should I cast the same spell of you?”

“tch! We are just getting some blood samples and testing her brain waves for any anomolies. Since she claimed that you have activated her soul reactor, as you call it.”

“yes, I did.”

“we have been observing you for quite some time now and recently found your movements to be very weird. You just entered a mansion without anyone else noticing, bullets don’t hit you, fires don’t affect you. What are you really josh mavric?”

“before I answer that question, or my sister does, let me ask first. What is the mission your going to give me?”

“you found out about that as well huh. So its true you talk to spirits."

"I talk to souls general, and entities, not spirits. What you call spirits are just entities as well."

"Anyways, i will just ask your sister about your story. For now, will you listen to the mission details?"

"If you want, i can just come over there so that i can get my sister and get out." Josh said nonchalantly

"Your an unknown new factor in this world, we cant have you just walts in the pentagon. Besides, shes our insurance."

"Shes no ones insurance, shes my family. Would you like a sample out of it?"

"Try me."

"Hahh.. all your "pride" is in the way. All you who is listening to this, point your gun at yourselves and see if your country needs you!"

When josh said that, they went quiet for a whole minute.

"Shocked arent you? Dont mistake me for someone you guys can just control. I am myself, and my sister is no ones property or insurance. I will deal with your mission, but if i dont hear my sister safely back home by the end of the mission, there will be more than just that." Josh said, threatening them."so, whats the mission then?"

After a few more minutes of waiting, with their shacking voices, they then replied.

"Wh-what did you do to us?!"

"Its a secret. Well, i will be willing to be tested over there if you like, since i also have business with america."

"Wh-what business do you have in american soil?"

"Bringing order and balance to the world, since i see america tiping a bit further towards evil with my ability world order."

"What? So you can also see the balance of the world?"

"Yes. Anyways, whats the mission?"

"O-oh, right. Your mission is to go to iran with a team of marines. We have information that iran is making a virus for biological warfare, and we have no idea where the target is. So your mission, confirm the information and destroy any data of biological warfare. Extract any informant is any and provide protection."

"Good. When and where?"

"The team will go there first to pick you up before the mission starts."

"Thats good. So i will just wait at where?"

"The mission will start by tomorrow, so you can rest for now."

"Ok, thats very good for me."

"By the way, i just have to ask, why cant we control you?"

"You guys already have used every measure to control me right? Even with your prized operation eagle eye. Its because i have a shield that protects me. Thats all i can say. Dont just experiment on me, or else."

"O-ok, was just asking."

"If thats all, then i have to book a hotel room and sleep for now." Josh said before he cut the line

When josh cut the line, he also called his mom for what really happened.

By the next day, josh was called by the pentagon again, that the team is waiting on the manila airport. By the time he got to the airport, a military pick up was already waiting for him by the entrance where they transported him to clark airbase, and where he then flew towards iran with the team.

"So your that josh mavric huh." A soldier said

They were now inside an airbus A400M atlas, going towards iraq, where the plan is to land there and go to iran via jeep.

"Yeah, why?" Josh said on his seat

"Im jorge hike, you can call me jorge."

"Yeah, and im mich falls. The one up front is our leader, chad stone." He said also pointing to the cockpit

"Anyways, is it true that you have powers? Are you a mutant?" Jorge

"You can call me that if you want."

"Whats your power?" Chad said as he appeared from the cockpit

"Many. Though with me, maybe no man might die." Josh said as the soldiers salute

"It isnt clear to us what your powers might be, so i cant fully rely on you in this mission, even though they tell me to fully rely on you." Chad said as he now sat on his seat

"Alright then, my power in simple terms, is the power of the soul." Josh

"Whats with that? You can do voodoo with that?" Jorge said as they laugh

"Well, just wait and see. Though is the four of us the only ones on this mission?" Josh

"Yes, i even said its a suicide mission, but they insist that you are going to protect us." Chad

"Those people really like to dump responsibility on other people." Josh said doing facepalm

"Oh yeah, if you have powers, why dont you go ahead with the mission yourself?" Mich

"Yeah, what he said." Jorge

"I can, but i dont really care much about the mission, i just want my sister back from the hands of those geezers at the pentagon." Josh

"What happened to your sister?" Chad

"Shes been held hostage. I can destroy the pentagon if i want to, but that just wouldnt set the balance straight." Josh said with a smile

"What balance?" Mich

"The balance between good and evil." Josh

With that phrase, they all laughed.

"Are you being serious with us?" Jorge said as he stopped laughing

"Do i look like im joking? Anyways, i want to take a rest before arriving there." Josh said as he sleeps in his seat

"Guys, lets just stop laughing. We will all know once the mission starts anyways, so for now, lets all get a rest." Chad

"Roger sir." The 2 men agrees and they all go to sleep

As they fly towards iraq, they also made some fuel stops along the way where josh also joins in on some idle chitchat, befriending the other 2 soldiers.

"Were here! Time to wake up!" Chad

He was at the cockpit along with the pilots while the rest was sleeping at the back.

"Are we there yet?" Mich said as he woke up

"Yes soldier, now lets move! We got no time to waste!" Chad said as he wakes josh up. "Josh, were here."

"Ugh.. its time now huh." Josh

“and wear some military gear josh, this is a military mission, don’t you forget it.” chad

“sure, no problem.” josh

"Yes, its time. So lets all go towards the jeep." Chad signaled for all 4 of them to go

As the US airbase was near the border, they all departed and arrived at their destination in about 3-4 hours, right somewhere at the tip of the persian gulf.

"Hey commander, are we there yet?" Mich said to chad who was the one driving

"Were almost there mich, just a little bit more." Jorge said while holding the map

"We could have just hired some local driver to drive us" mich

"Mich, this is a covert mission as the commander said, so we cant just expect to hire a local driver here." Josh

"In short, we are on our own." Jorge

"Hey josh, whats your story suppose to be? Can you tell us? Im bored here." Mich

"Yeah josh, can you tell us while on the way?" Jorge

"Hahh.. well, if you insist. Though i require us exchanging stories, would that be ok?" Josh

"Sure, we can do that. We should also start from the one who suggested it." Jorge

"Haha.. fine.. i have a wife and kids back at home, and i would like to come back from this mission as fast as i can, its almost my kids birthday." Mich

"As for me, i have a wife and shes almost giving birth. By the way, can you give me a name for my child?" Jorge

"Haha, your dumping the responsibility of naming the child to us?" Chad

"Yeah, whats wrong with it? Its my first child." Jorge

"Anyways, whats your story josh?" Chad

Josh then told his story, which they have no comment at all. From all smiles to just pure seriousness.

"Well, thats how my story goes." Josh

"Tell you the truth, im no fan of any god or whatever, since im an athiest, but i do believe in voodoo stuff. Though i didnt expect also for the pentagon to also be involved." Mich

"What kind of account where you in when you were an agent?" Jorge

"A document signing account. I already forgot the name, but i theorized before that it might have some relations with the military." Josh

"Weve now arrived at the village men, get ready." Chad

When they arrived at the village of kumus depe, it was just like any ordinary village.

"Hey commander, lets try asking some locals." Mich

"Yeah, its no use with just us going around this village." Jorge

"Can anyone of us speak iranian?" Mich

"Uhh.. i can try?" Josh

"Really?! Thats also part of your power?!" Mich and jorge said as they were surprised

"Its called "auto translate". But I dont know how many languages i might be able to interpret." Josh

"Give it a go josh, i hope you know what your doing." Chad said as he stopped the jeep

"Excuse me, can i ask something?" Josh

As josh spoke in english and slowly, but the people only slowly avoid them.

"I guess the people here are conscious that im around soldiers, and they dont want anything to do with us." Josh

"Maybe your abilities fail you josh. I shouldnt have agreed with this mission." Chad

"My abilities work just fine, its just their attitude towards us." Josh

"Whatever it might be, we have no freakin clue where to find this facility of theirs." Mich

"Wait, the souls wants us to go towards the water." Josh said as he was looking at the sky

"Huh? Your asking us to head to the sky?" Mich

"Im saying that they said, to head to the water. Im just looking above us as there was a soul that spoke to me." Josh

"So your asking us to search somewhere by the persian gulf?" Jorge

"Yes." Josh

"Thats it, were going home." Mich said with a gesture

"Yeah, maybe me too." Jorge said closing the map

"You know, as situation stands, im the only one with the resources to get us there." Josh

"Where is your resource anyways? Maybe your just as insane as i thought!" Mich

"Mich, your voice. Your attracting unwanted attention." Chad

"In any case, its now up to you commander if you should trust me or not." Josh said with a serious face

With just a second to think, chad thought about taking the chance.

"Alright then, lets all head for the water. This will be my responsibility." Chad

"Your call." Mich said as jorge opens the map again

With that, they were now off towards the part where there was water, and found children playing by the grass.

"Stop for now." Josh

"What is it now?" Mich said as they stopped

After the jeep stopped, josh jumped out of the jeep to go towards the children.

"Hi there, can I ask you something?” josh asked the children who were playing

The children then agreed and gathered.

“do you know of any building here that is suspicious?”

They nodded and pointed towards the northern part of the gulf, towards no mans land.

“i see, thank you very much. I hope this is much.” josh said as he gave them candies from one of his pockets.

The children were happy as they each received candy, before the children started playing again, and josh got back towards the jeep to tell them to head north. As night falls, they just venture towards north until they saw lights ahead, right after a cliff.

“commander, this may be some sort of facility here.” jorge

They were now sitting at the side of the cliff as they review the situation and coming up with plans

“i cant believe that josh was right, way ta go josh!” mich said praising josh

“now then, how to get past their defenses. We have to confirm the information of any biological warfare in this facility.” chad said as he was now looking at the binoculars

“and extract the informant if possible.” josh

“but who might be the informant?” mich

“in any case, we have to get past their defenses.” chad

“uhh.. commander, can you leave the distraction to me?” josh

“wait.. what?!”they were all surprised

“this isnt just fun and games you know, that you can just go first.” jorge

“i know. But let me do it.” josh said with a serious face

Chad thought about it for some time, also when mich and jorge were both trying to make josh think otherwise.

“alright josh, you got one shot. If you die, don’t ever blame us with anything.” chad

“but sir, he will die for sure!” jorge

“we all got here through his help, so its only natural that we should trust him as well.” chad

“well, the man volunteered, so let him do as he please.” mich said, giving up

“thanks. Though I have just one advice.” josh

“what?” chad

“dont even peek at what im about to do to them.” josh

“or else what?” mich

“or else, you will think im even cooler than you think mich.” josh

“haha, funny.” mich

“anyways, I will take note of that.” chad

“lets go.” josh said as he stood up

“but sir, on what basis do you trust josh with his plan?” jorge silently said as mich and josh were going to the jeep

“i don’t, though I know in my gut that he can do this.” chad

“if you say so.” jorge said before they stood and go towards the jeep.

After they got back to the jeep, they went around the cliff to reach near the southern part of the facility, where its darker.

“got it mich? Jorge?” chad

“yes, our mission is infiltration, got it.” jorge said as mich agrees

Chad then signals for the go signal to start the mission. They crawled at the right side, and arrived at the door where guards are guarding. Chad ordered the kill signal for the 2 guards using silencers, and killed the 2 guards. When that was done, they planted a small explosive for the lock for the metal door. After it exploded, they begin their invasion inside the facility where they go inside the facility with their night vision goggles. The same time with the front of the facility, all of the people guarding inside the facility was concentrated at the front where josh is currently at.

“hi, im lost. Can you show me the way back?” josh said as he was now inside the front of the facility and raising his hands, where it reserved as like a parking lot for cars.

“are you american? Where did you come from?” one of them said as they point their guns at josh

“no, im not american. Although coming inside here like it was nothing would surprise you all right?” josh

“boss, I was sure he looked like one of ours before we let him enter.”

“no matter, this person will be dead anyways after interrogation.”

“well, not that I care about--” josh said until he saw the same soul that pointed him to the water

“josh mavric, thank allah your here. Please do help my daughter and her daughter, they are your informants.” said the soul

“haha. Please wait one moment.” josh said before facing the soul again who is floating above. “please continue.”

“in 2 days time, they will deliver the last set of viruses from here to tehran, where they plan to weaponize it and infect china with it. Leaving the blame to the US, as their revenge for bringing sanctions to this country.”

“i see. So if these are the last, there should already be first and so on.” josh

“yes, its already been delivered. But the plan will only take place in about 2 days from now.”

“i see.” josh

“what are you talking about there? Have you gone insane?” one of them said

“ah, sorry. But please be quiet for now, im in an important conversation.” josh

“like what are you saying? We got you surrounded!” said one of them now pointing their guns again at him

“hahh.. this is what I get for talking to neanderthals.” josh said before he used telekenisis with a flick of his finger, to brush one side towards the back.

“what did you do to them? Answer me!” one of them said

“hahh.. can you please wait for one moment?” josh said towards the soul which agreed

“we don’t have time for playing games with you!” one of them said before firing on him with all their bullets, until they have no more, to find all their bullets being redirected towards both sides from josh.

“what?!” one of them said as they were surprised by what just happened

“guys, open fire!” another one said as all of them now fires upon him

When they fired upon him, all the bullets were redirected towards josh sides, where they even included firing machine guns at him. After the smoke cleared from the area, they saw that all was futile.

“is your turn done?” josh

“are you playing with us?!” one of them said

“nope, cause its now my turn.” josh said before he lowers his arms. “soul control!”

With soul control, he can control all souls in an area, at his will.

“sorry to keep you waiting. Now where are they again?” josh speaking to the soul once more.

Meanwhile, chad and the others successfully infiltrated the facility and got towards the lab.

“are these all the data from the viruses?” chad said to jorge

“yes sir.” jorge said as he was at the computer table accessing files

“make sure to copy them all before we go out of here.” chad

“what should I do with these scientists?” mich said as he has them all gathered at one side of the room

“we leave them here, this mission doesnt include them.” chad

“but should we take one? I mean, we might be able to make an antidote for these viruses, but they might need help right?” mich

“no, lets leave them here.” chad

“alright then.” mich

But little did they know that there was one soldier that they hadnt gotten to and was hiding in a room without any windows beside the exit. But there, that soldier then decided with resolve on whats best for his country, to type in the missile codes. There inside the room, there was 1 door (exit) and there was a glass window which oversees the missile. At the same time, josh headed towards the house which was beside the facility.

“hello, is anyone there?” josh shouted towards the house

After a few minutes of shouting at the door, he was then answered by a woman.

“hi there, are you american?” the woman said

“no, but im here for the informant. Im josh mavric.” josh said reaching out to shake hands

“im laiba adballa, and this is my daughter, zara adballa.” she said as there was another girl right behind her, which is about 5 feet tall.

“hello there. And by the way, this will not be a trip, so you cant expect your things to be carried along with you.” josh

“i know. But a question for you too.”

“what is it?”

“what are those men doing at your back?”

“oh, I just temporarily turned them into somewhat like zombies. Hurry now.” josh said pointing out of the house

“yes, im completely confused at the situation right now, but we will go nevertheless.” laiba said as they all exit the house

After a few minutes, both teams rendezvous at the back of the facility where chad and the others accomplished their mission.

“did you accomplish the mission?” chad said to josh

“yes, and these are our informants. Good thing she drugged her husband with sleeping pills so that they wont notice a thing.” josh

“i have something on my mind in comment to that, but lets get out anyways.” chad said as they all exit the facility

But as they exited the facility, they felt a rumble on the ground, and just heard a rocket flying towards the sky. Where the parking lot just opened itself up to launch 2 rockets.

“oh no, one was able to actually launch that missile?! my husband was talking about it as a contingency!” laiba said as they now focus

“wait, thats an ICBM!” chad said before looking at laiba. “what did your husband say about those rockets?”

“he said they were going to put the virus onto the rocket if the plan doesnt work.” laiba

“does the iranian government know about this?” chad

“no, only a handful of people even know about this facility.” laiba

“if those missiles ever hit their target, there might be a catastrophe thats waiting.” chad

“just how catastrophic would one of these missiles be?” josh

“as the virus is transmittable via droplets, as I have read in their files, we wont know the extent of the damage it will cause. It will be a global disaster!” jorge

“not to mention that this would be the start of a world war.” mich said getting shivers

“that confirms my information then.” josh

“what information? Arent you listening?” chad

“i am, though I also got the same information from the soul of laibas mother. Thus this confirms it.” josh said as he looks up in the sky as the rockets fly

“what are you going to do now josh?” chad

“i never got to hear your story chad, though that doesnt matter now. Take them to iraq now, let me deal with those rockets.”

“wait, what?!” all of them said

“now! Before those people I controlled gets back to their senses!” josh said before flying off towards the rocket with “wind control”

“wow! He can do that?!” mich
”nevermind that, lets make use of the time josh brought for us.” chad

“yes sir!”

they agreed and then they escape from the area, all before the iranian military was informed of their blunder. Meanwhile, josh flies straight towards the 2 rockets which went flying side by side. With his “chemical reaction”, he was able to change the composition of the elements inside the rocket so that it wont burn, but that was just one rocket. After disabling one rocket, he guided the fall of that rocket using his wind control, back towards somewhere in iran. Not before he also reprogrammed some of the viruses to just eat each other with his organic control.

“whew! One down, and one more to go. But damn, this is the limit of how high I can fly.” josh said as he was now high above the clouds, where air is lesser

And from there, he just sees where the missile would go, and chase it. As he now knows where it might fall, he immediately rushes towards the missile at a diagonal angle. But as there was no more fire burning from the missiles end, he couldn’t use chemical reaction, so he resorted to just using wind control to drastically slow down the missile so that he can get under it. Once he was under it, he was able to use wind control now to blow a hurricane at the bottom of his foot, all to stop the missile from hitting the ground of a city center in china. As he was able to achieve his mission by a hairs breath, he then turns the missile over and slowly puts it down with wind control. All before he also reprogrammed the viruses inside the missile to each each other, just in case if the missile ever activates itself.

“whew! Finished! Well, I don’t really remember how to get back to iraq, so I will just go back home.” josh said after taking his breath.

*ring*

“hello, this is josh.” josh said as he picks up his phone

“well I be damned josh, you actually saved the world!”

“yeah, you who is only watching me do things should really do as your told.”

“haha, that hurts. Though as promised, we will return your sister back to your country.”

“when?”

But when he asked, the police just came.

“hold on there, im being surrounded by chinese police here. So I will talk to you as I fly back.” josh said before he flew upwards, which baffled the police. “when do I expect my sister to come back?”

“maybe by tomorrow via helicopter.”

Josh was now getting his compass from his pocket to know where south is, before flying towards it, so that he can go home.

“alright then, I do expect my sister to be home by then. For now, I will report all this to president dutuer.”

“wait why should you report to him?”

“so that he can ruin your relationship even more than before. America may be great and all, but its not that great to risk ones life for, when you know their dark side.”

“dont put it like that josh, we just needed you help to begin with.”

“dont you even dare play innocent with me! You who might have toyed with lives now should not wield all that power.”

“yes, we know its our fault to begin with, so we apologize for that. Unfortunately, someone has to wield such power so that a country can maintain balance between all countries, im sure you will understand that.”

“yes, I do understand. Though there could have been a more lighter approach to how you approached me you know.”

“we know, and we apologize for that.”

“as an apology for everything that I have been through all this time, you should stop operation eagle eye, or just take away the mind control thing.”

“no, we cant do that. You see, powerless people like us would only resort to these kinds of things, thats how cruel reality is for all people, probably including you.”

“yes, I know. Life is cruel in many ways. Well, if you cant do that, then just control your clients from using it! Your the military right? You can still function even without their funding!”

“you really know your stuff. Right, we can still function even without their funding, but we still need it to speed things up. Anyways, we already have those soldiers responsible for your case dismissed from the operation. You will have your sister by tomorrow.”

“thats good. Cause if I don’t get my sister back by tomorrow, I don’t think I can control myself from coming there and destroy the pentagon while at it.”

“with you, I think thats entirely possible. Now that we have a clear view of your abilities.”

“and thats not even all of it.”

“we are really glad your on our side.”

“nope, im on no ones side. As the chosen one for deaths soul, im only on the side of just, as I shall set the balance straight.”

“i see. As we arent used to threats like this, what should we consider of you?”

“you can consider me a friend for now. But if I ever sense or receive word that your going to upset the balance in any way, you should know that im always here for you.” josh said as he now arrived and descending towards manila, to a macdonalds store on an early morning.

“wait, what are you doing there?” they said as they saw on their satellites where josh is now

“you should know that even I am still an organic being, so I need to eat. Anyways, thats all for now.” josh said before he cuts the line

It was now afternoon as josh made a call to his mom. Josh has checked into a hotel that morning, after breakfast, and slept for a good 8 hours.

“yeah, thats all I have to report to you mom.”

Josh was now at his hotel room where hes calling his mother.

“whew! Glad you and your sister is safe, and thats all that we could ever ask for.”

“anyways, I think I cant come home for now.”

“why?”

“cause I have to report what I have been through to the president.”

“i see. Good luck with that josh, and its good that your reporting to us before everyone else."

"Yes, its really good to hear you mom, i miss you."

"I miss you too son, your dad as well."

"Well, will see you later mom, i dont plan to be long here anyways." Josh said before cutting the line

After he got dressed in the same clothes again, he went out and hailed a taxi towards malacanang palace.

"Excuse me sir, your invitation please." The guard at front was now demanding his invitation

Josh was also part of those waiting in line at the front of the palace.

"Like i said, please call the president. Just tell him that its josh mavric." Josh

"Josh mavric?!"

"Yes, the josh mavric."

When he presented his ID, the guard immediately called for the psg, where they also came and identified him before letting him inside.

"What is it now josh? Im clearly very busy here." Dutuer said as he was still signing a bunch of paperwork

"Well sir, i just came here to report to you what happened to me right after your broadcast." Josh said with a salute

"Something really happened after that?! Please do tell." Dutuer said gesturing for josh to sit at a chair

Josh then reported to dutuer what had happened to him during his mission in iran.

"I have got a lot to comment already with the story itself." Dutuer said rubbing his temple

"I know right?"

"But its the US we are talking about, so we cant use rash actions against them. Im surprised they didnt nuke us when you used "pride" on them."

"Yes."

"Which means that only you can wipe them out with just a few words. You really have some power there josh, your even scarier than nukes."

"Well, what i have achieved is only achievable through acceptance of the facts surrounding me, including the fact that i have a third eye and has developed it even without practice."

As they agree to lunch, they immediately go towards a local karinderia or small eatery, to eat some local food.

"So, how are your parents boy? Are they alright?" Dutuer said as he was eating

"Yes they are, though im also concerned that they might be targetted thanks to me." Josh said as he was also eating

"Your right about that. I initially thought that by publicizing your achievements, everyone else would also stop bothering you, but i feel that im maybe wrong."

"No need to fret whats now in the past mr president, whats important is that they are all ok."

"And what about your sister? Will she be alright?"

"I hope so, if not, i would leave no stone unturned."

"Now thats a true filipino." Dutuer said pointing his spoon

"Hold on, let me get this." Josh said before answering the call. "Hello?"

"Hello josh, sorry for this."

"Mom? What happened?"

"Josh mavric, we now have your parents, so dont put up a fight or else." Another voice came to the phone

"Who are you and what have you done to my parents?" Josh suddenly said with a serious face

Dutuer also immediately listens to the conversation from what he suddenly heard.

"Your parents are safe for now, but you should already come home now josh, we are waiting for you."

"What you want?" Josh said clenching his spoon

"What do we want? We all want you silly."

"We? Whose we?"

"For now, follow my instructions and get back home quickly. Someone will be here at your house to pick you up."

"Ok then, but dont you ever hurt them!"

"Hurt them? We only want you. Sure they put up a good fight together, but do know that if you bring anyone else, they are good as gone."

"Im glad you know. Anyways, be here by the day or let them die. We are also busy people you know." The voice said before cutting the line

"Sir, im afraid--" josh said to dutuer

"No, go.. i will be fine, since i have the psg with me." Dutuer

"Well, my grandma always taught me to clean my plate, so will just eat before i go then." Josh said before he ate

"Thats a good mindset." Dutuer said before he finishes eating as well

After eating lunch and saying their goodbyes, josh flies back towards tanghub, and to his house where someone was actually waiting for him.

"Where are you taking me?" Josh said as he is now riding a white van with some men on it

"We are not oblidged to tell you where." One of them said with their guns pointed at josh

"Is this suppose to be a threat?" Josh said before all their guns were emptied from using telekenisis

"In any case, we have your parents, so this makes us having the advantage."

"Tch! Fine. Just take me to where you want to take me." Josh said with his arms crossed and just waiting silently

After a few minute ride towards an unfinished building, with just all walls, the van stopped.

"Were here."

They then exit the van where josh saw some people at the bottom of the building, along with his parents being tied up in chains and with their mouths tied up.

"Hello there josh mavric, and welcome to the gathering of the drug cartels of the philippines. My name is julius santos, you can call me julius." He said as the rest of the goons who were with josh exited the scene

"So, whats this in it for me and my family?" Josh said as he was now at the center and surrounded by guns and goons

"Well, it doesnt. We just like a little insurance as we all go on this meeting." Julius

"Meeting for what?! This is just taking my time!" One of them said as he grabs a handgun and points to eva. "I have had enough of the stalling!"

"Now, calm down mr masayoshi, we are here only to discuss and not to make a mess." Julius

"Are you ordering me? A lowlife goon?!" Masayoshi then points towards julius

"Whoa, slow down there. Im only stating facts here." Julius

"Hes right mr masayoshi, please sit down. Your embarassing us." A woman in her 50s present in the assembly said as others agree

"Tch! Fine then!" Masayoshi said, lowering the gun. "I bet you still havent lost a loved one, did you, josh mavric?"

"What are you talking about?" Josh

"Dont play dumb with me! You did something to my daughter and i know it!" Masayoshi said pointing the gun at him

"Well, i dont know your names yet. So how should i know or care?" Josh said with a gesture

"Ahem! Going on with the introductions, im julius, and the one pointing a gun at you is masayoshi warui, the head of the yakuza."

"Oh, ok then. Now i remember. Anyways, who are the others?" Josh just shrug him off

"You just remember?!--" masayoshi

"Quiet mr masayoshi! This is a meeting! Sit down!" A man with russian accent said

"Tch! Fine!" Masayoshi said as he takes his seat

"Anyways, im arnold augustus, the representative of the bratva."

"And im fu jin jin, the representative of the triad."

"And im greg kilay, the representative of the cartel in the philippines."

"And we have here, ahmed abdalla on voice only, for the terrorist faction." Julius

"Glad to meet you all, though i literally have no business with all of you on any matters, i shall take my parents with me now." Josh said with a gesture

"Anyways, i was told that you have powers josh mavric, can you demonstrate it to us?" Fu

"I dont really know what your talking about." Josh said with a poker face

"We all wish for nothing else josh, agree to this and your parents will be safe, we promise." Julius said as they all have smiles in their faces

"Whats that again?" Julius

"I decline, thats what." Josh

This sent a wave of surprise for for all of them

"Do you really know what your position is josh mavric?" Greg said as they all draw their guns at him

“no, do you know what your positions are?” josh

As josh said that, all the guns that were pointed at him were dismantled in front of them.

“so its true! You do have powers!” fu

“bring back my daughter! Or else your parents will pay for it!” masayoshi said as he draws a knife from his clothes

“hahh.. did you even know what you daughter did to the yamamotos?” josh

“no, what did my daughter do?” masayoshi

Josh then told them what happened and what he did to her, except the sex part.

“yes, she did, and she even confessed to me of her wrong doing without any remorse.” josh said as the blade of the knife bends

“what is this? You expect me to believe you?!” masayoshi

“yes, I just bent that blade so that you wont have any weapons against my parents.” josh said as they were staring at each other, being angry and all

“anyways, wont you join us josh? With you by our side, we could even rule the world!” arnold

“yes, hes right. Forget about the triad or factions, we could even just make our own group!” fu

“for me, I cant trust him.” ahmed

“why is that?” julius

“because he is also the one who ruined the perfect opportunity for the US and china to go to war with each other, which led the americans taking my wife and daughter.” ahmed

“FYI mr ahmed, the informant for your facility was your own wife.” josh

“what?! I don’t believe you!” ahmed

“here we go again.” greg

“enough with the fighting! We are here to discuss with him and make a deal!” fu

“shes right.” greg

“anyways, if you wont agree to our terms, im afraid we cant let you leave.” julius

Julius then signals all the goons to prepare to fight.

“come.” josh said after making a fighting stance

With that, they begin the fight. With “martial arts mastery”, josh is able to master his own form of martial arts from all the information and training that he received during all his life. And as they fought, all the goons couldn’t win against him as josh just stays in “absolute defence”.

“oh? Interesting.” fu said as the fight goes on

“i will have you know that this is recorded.” julius said being impressed and all

“i see, good thing I only used this ability.” josh said while he was still engaging some goons

After a few seconds, a helicopter came from the sky.

“what are you guys doing there?! let go of those hostages!” a man inside the helicopter shouted

“tch! We got some bugs on us! Shoot them!” julius said and signaled at the back where another goon with a rocket launcher goes to the top

“ya! Im here!” jade shouted from the helicopter

This got josh attention as well. But as the goon got to the top, josh saw a premonition of a bad feeling, and saw the goon with the rocket launcher.

“jade! Get out of there!” josh shouted. “tch! She cant hear me.” josh said before using the whip of justice to whip away the goons around him.

As the rocket was launched, josh then used the whip to blow up the rocket in mid air, before he used it again to make the goon fall down from the top of the building.

“tch! You remember this day josh mavric! We also wont forget what you just did!” julius said as he signaled for them all to retreat

As the signal was used, soldiers from the helicopter came down.

“oh, I wont let you guys get away with everything.” josh said with a smile before activating another one of his abilities

With body control, he can control any organism like puppets. And as josh used his ability with a wave of his hands, everybody except the military and his family, were under his control like he was in an orchestra.

“whats this?!” arnold

“is this your power as well?!” fu

“actually, yes.” josh

“wow! You did all this all on your own?!” the soldier said to josh

“yes, though I might need help in restraining them all. Can you guys do that?” josh

“roger that!” he said before he signaled the others to apprehend them. “im lieutenant jonah sanders by the way.”

“and im josh mavric.” josh said as he shook hands

“was it also you who saved us from that rocket launcher?” jonah

“yes. Anyways, where is jade?” josh

“shes with your parents by now, we also brought her here at her request, after she heard what happened from general cesar himself.” jonah said as they saw jade, crying with her parents

“im glad they are safe, they are the only reason why im doing this and why im in this world right now.” josh said with a smile.

“glad you can be with your family josh, I miss mine.” jonah

“anyways, we should all go towards their leaders.” josh

“yes, your right.” jonah said as they walk towards the leaders who were all just standing still like puppets

“josh mavric! By the time our organizations get this, you will be our enemy number one.” fu

“nope, im just enemy number 2. anyways, im not that much important.” josh

“oh yes you are, you just captured me, who is suppose to be in hiding right now. And I hate you for what you did to my daughter!” masayoshi

“hes right about that.” greg

“if the head of the yakuza is captured, there will be some movement in the underworld and you will have a price in your head.” arnold

“head of the yakuza?!” jonah

“i will explain on the way. In any case, glad that the US military held their end of the bargain.” josh
”yes, we always keep our promises whenever we can.” jonah said with confidence

“alright then, off we go!” josh said happily

2 days later, US intelligence confirmed of the information.

“josh, were afraid to tell you that you have been made as a wanted man in the underworld and in the black market.” cesar

They were now at the malacanang where the US military generals are contacting the Philippine military generals on the information about josh. They were now doing a video call via secret channel.

“I see. So what happens now? My mission is just to correct the balance of this world.” josh

“hahh..” they all sighed

“thats what it means to be correcting the balance of this world josh, you become a wanted man by the wrong people.” cesar

“this would mean for him to part ways with his family right?” tuba said as he was also there among all the generals

“yes, thats correct. Lets all weigh in his options for now.” cesar

“i see. Though I was prepared for it, its kind of very sad when I think about it.” josh

“true, since that is the reality of the situation you are in.” tuba

“what would be the best option philippine generals? I would leave the decisions to you.” cesar

“what do we do? If josh is now a wanted man, then assassins from all over the world would love to get a piece of him, specially if they will know his only weakness.” tuba

“but thanks to josh efforts, we now know the extent of how much we must improve as a country.” a general said

“but its also thanks to him that our country might be in great danger.” another general said

“our country is already facing enough problems as it is.” another general said

“then what about our country? Arent we facing some of the same problems as you are?” cesar

“tch!” that general said

“how about america? Can america take them instead?” another general said

“wait, josh mavric is a filipino, along with his family we cant just abandon them to the ones who also made him in the first place!” tuba

“i believe its the most noble sacrifice that he will ever make, if he shall defect to america.” that general said

“so your saying that its our problem, so we should solve it ourselves?” cesar

“they are saying that, but we all know that without him, there will be more imbalance in the world right?” tuba

“even if we might want to pass him towards the americans or not, it doesnt change the fact that hes a danger to our country.” a general said

“hahh.. you know, president tramp also doesnt want us to harbor some problem that came from the other side of the globe, so hes.. you know.. just leaving it all to me.” cesar said as he rubs his temple. “which is why im also consulting you as well.”

“what about you josh? You have been quiet for quite some time now.” tuba said to josh

“i have been thinking, its good that america is now helping in my case and america might offer its doors to us, but im good here. As the warrior of making order to the world, or soul warrior, i have to be neutral." Josh

"What does that have to do with the philippines?" A general asked

"Its good that you think highly of your home country, but we need concrete evidence for decisions or else, its just a decision on a whim." Tuba

"Well, aside from philippines being my home, i believe the situation wont get worse if im here and not there." Josh

"You really think the situation wont get worse?" A general said

"Nope, not that i can think of." Josh

"Hahh.." all of them sighed

As the philippine generals were discussing, there were a lot of what ifs that doesnt make sense to josh.
