*knock*

"Excuse me miss! I have something to ask by the way." Josh

It was also only after a while that neysha opened the door to hear him out. She was still in her formal clothes by then.

"Excuse me miss, but--" josh

"You dont need to say it twice, and yes, im going somewhere that you will never appreciate." Neysha

"You dont know that, and it is my job to protect you anyways." Josh

"Like i said, i dont need any protection!" Neysha said before she slammed the door

"Hahh.. why are all rich brats like this?" Josh said as he waited on the door

Josh was only waiting by the door and fidgeting his phone when he sensed something amiss. He then used his scan on her room to know what is happening and found out that she has escaped from her room using her bed sheets, where her room was on the second floor of the mansion, as with all living quarters are. So josh used his scan ability while flying to find her on the area where there there were lots of homes, and descended right behind her.

"Hello there miss." Josh said as he touches her shoulder

"What?! How did you find me! No one was able to do that before! And on their first day!" Neysha said as she was surprised and backed away

"Well, im different. Anyways, im also new here, so can you also guide me as you walk to your destination?" Josh

As they converse, a crowd was building up around them as they were all amazed at what they saw.

"So, shall we stay or go?" Josh said with a gesture

"Come with me." Neysha said as he pulled josh towards one of her friends house.

*knock*

Josh continued to say no towards the crowd of many questions in hindu language, as neysha continues to knock on the door. They were now at a regular house which has a gate and a parking lot inside for their car.

"Who is this?"

"Its me alex, neysha. Let us in first." Neysha

"Alright then, hang on." Alex said as he was opening the door

Once the door was opened, they immediately entered before immediately closing the door of the gates.

"Neysha, what is going on here? And why are you with josh mavric?" Alex spoke in hindu

"You know this guy?" Neysha

"Hes like, the guy who saved america!" Alex said as he did a high five with josh. “oh yeah, im alex adah, very glad to meet you mr josh.” he said as they shook hands

“glad to meet you too. Anyways, why are we doing here miss neysha?” josh said before looking at her

“hmp! don’t just expect for an answer from me!” neysha said acting like a brat

“hahh..” josh said with a face palm

“well, shes basically here to meet me mr josh.” alex

“josh is fine.” josh

“hey! don’t just tell him!” neysha said pouting

“haha.. anyways, please do come inside.” alex said inviting him

“mind if I do. Come now miss neysha, you got business here as well right?” josh said with courtesy

“hahh.. fine.” neysha said as alex was smiling as they all go inside

Once inside, josh saw 2 coffins in the corner.

“can I?” josh said to alex before he nodded

“is this your parents?” josh was asking after he saw the faces

“yes, they are one of the victims of the batterings from others.” alex said as he was holding out his tears and comforted by neysha

“can I just ask, what does neysha have to do with you?” josh
”are you really asking that now?” neysha

“dont worry neysha, its just a question, he doesnt mean any harm.” alex said before responding to josh. “neysha and I go way back, we are also best friends.”

“i see. Does anyone know your both friends? And do you know about her status?” josh

“my parents know that we are best friends, but I didn’t tell anyone about her status.” alex

“good, im glad you also understand your position alex. Since if anyone will find out, it will be problematic, depending on the situation.” josh

“hey! We are best of friends! Period! And im glad to be friends with him! Got a problem with that?!” neysha

“no problem at all, was just saying something.” josh said with a gesture before facing alex parents. “its no problem at all, but to your parents, they just became very concerned.”

“what are you saying?” neysha

“so you can really converse with the dead, am I right?” alex

“yes, I can.” josh said facing them both

“can I also have your powers?” alex said stepping forward

“oh? So you have the courage, but what you lack is the wisdom. Though I will just ask, what do you seek in gaining such powers?” josh
”I only wish to talk with my parents one more time, and know that im gonna be ok here.” alex

“so what you want then is just a way to converse with them only, is that right?” josh

“yes.”

“hold on, I sense something bad about to happen.” josh said before going to neysha. “alex, hurry and get over here!”

In that instant, as alex also got to them in time, many grenades were thrown inside the house and exploded sending the house on fire as well. All of the grenades were thrown in random directions where it all came from the window. As the house burned, and the men still there right outside the house, the men outside were surprised to see the door opening and positioned themselves. When josh and others were now outside, the men outside started firing their guns, which were all rendered useless by josh shield ability. As josh was able to get them out, he them faces the men outside with his body control, rendering the men unable to move. With nothing else that the men can do aside from moving their mouths, they then chewed on the “death pill”, which later killed them.

“alex, im sorry it has come to this.” neysha said to the grieving alex

“dont worry, no one is to blame but the government.” alex

“but they all wore police costumes, in fact, the fact that they swallowed something proves that they are trained. I saw something like that on the movies.” josh

“hey josh?! what are those men after?! is it really me?!” neysha

“calm down miss neysha, we don’t know that just yet. And its now almost getting dark, we have to move fast before the real police comes.” josh said as he walks towards them

“what are you going to do?!” neysha

“hold on to me guys, we are getting out of here.” josh said as he held both of them on the waist

“hey, what are you--” neysha

In that instant, josh and the others flew back towards the mansion, where the situation was explained to aadrik

“so that is what just happened.” aadrik

They were now at the waiting room of the mansion where josh was explaining to aadrik what happened while others just went quiet.

“yes, and what I found out about the attackers was that all of them were wearing police uniforms. You can just ask the police chief for more details on the men who attacked us.” josh

“i see. Anyways, why have you even gone towards this boys house?! huh neysha?!” aadrik said as she was on the verge of crying

“dont just blame her too much sir, no one could have anticipated this.” josh

“yes, I know. But this could have all been prevented if she just stayed here!” aadrik said with a face palm

“anyways, its now clear that someone is after neysha or any of the royal family.” josh

“my wife passed away some time ago due to a disease, so maybe they are after me or neysha.” aadrik said as he rubs his temple

“yes, and you have to put absolute protection for yourselves. Though first and foremost, we have to find the perpetrators of the attack and who are the masterminds.” josh

“yes, I couldn’t agree more.” aadrik

“but what do they want from us?--” neysha

“you shut up neysha!--” aadrik

“no! Shes right. What do they want from you guys and why? And there is also the fact that they know about alex, so he must stay here, if you would agree to it.” josh said as alex was riddled with fear from what just happened

“hmm.. I suppose it would be alright, since he just lost his parents, but what will he do from now on?” aadrik said as alex just heard

“for now, maybe he can work here as your daughters butler perhaps?” josh

“nonsense! He will just live here as a guest! Period. Even if he shares the same memories as my daughter as her childhood friend, he is a muslim!” aadrik

“whats wrong with being a muslim? Anyways, he didn’t do anything to you or to anyone. Heck, he doesnt even have a crime record yet!” josh

“mr josh, why are you standing up for him? When he is clearly a muslim, the ever hated enemy of christianity?” aadrik

“first of all, like my speech at the awards ceremony, im stating that im a christian as well as a spiritual person. Meaning that I believe in one god, and respect other gods as well.” josh
”no comment on that, but answer my question, why are you covering up for him?” aadrik

“as the bringer of balance, I couldn’t just abandon an innocent soul. Also, I see potential in him.” josh

“what?!” all 3 of them said

“yup, you heard me, hes got some potential. Even though its my first time meeting him, I can sense from his soul, something big sleeping.” josh

“really?” alex said with a glimmer of hope

“yes, if you will approve mr aadrik, he will stay in this mansion while being trained by me as your daughters butler.” josh

“your would really train me? Really mr josh?!” alex said standing up and grabbing josh hand

“yes--” josh

“hahh.. fine, but he will also be tested in the end.” aadrik

“yes!” both neysha and alex rejoiced
”good for you alex.” josh clapped his hands

“as for the assassination case, how will you approach this josh?” aadrik

“i can always do it my way, but its better to do it your way right?” josh
”and what would that be?” aadrik
”to ask the government and your close confidants about what happened and to let them also investigate.” josh said with a smile

“oh, that. Alright then, I will try.” aadrik

“for now, let all just sleep, its now night time and im starving.” josh said as he stood up

As they now finished the meeting, they all went to eat.

“hahh.. nothing beats bed after a hard days work.” josh said after he landed on his bed

After a while, also after calling his mom for any reports, josh was visited by someone.

“come on in.” josh said after he heard a knock

“can I come in sir josh?” neysha said slightly opening the door

“sure. You can always talk to me about anything.” josh

“thank you. Well, the thing is, that my father wants us together.” neysha said after closing the door behind her

“what?” josh surprised

“yes, and he said to come and make out with you. don’t you think thats really weird?” neysha said as she walks towards josh

“yes, its really weird, specially nowadays where we all have our free will to choose.” josh

“hahh.. my father seems to really trust you, even though its just your first day working in here.” neysha

“i don’t really know about that, since why did he even send you to me? Its so that he can assure that im trust worthy.” josh

“good point.” neysha said as she sat on the bed

“so? What do you really want to ask?” josh
”its about alex, are you sure that he has potential? That hes good enough to be my butler? I mean, butler is kind of.. you know..” neysha

“kind of awkward since you two are childhood friends?” josh
”exactly! But don’t you think that what your deciding for him is against his will?” neysha

“but he has no other choice, does he? Whether he goes out on the streets and be kidnapped or work her and be safe.” josh

“what do you mean be kidnapped?”

“why does the assassins know where you are and where you will be?” josh

“good point. Hahh.. if there was something better for him.” neysha

“your concerned about him, arent you?” josh

“what? You got a problem with that?” neysha

“nope, none at all. In fact, may I ask instead.” josh

“what is it? I have a bad feeling about this.” neysha said backing away

“do you love him?” josh

“oh, just that.. oh, uhmm.. I do like him as a person, hes kind and a bit funny. But also a scatterhead sometimes.” neysha said embarrasingly

“you know, I also have this ability which can draw out the truth within a person.” josh

“is that a threat?” neysha

“yes, the question is, are you saying the truth?” josh
”yes I am.” neysha said with nervousness and embarrassment

“hahh.. the thing is, I also have another ability which sensed and controls the pride of a person.” josh said with a smile

“oh dear..” after gulping and a second to think, she immediately confesses in a low voice. “I love him.”

“what was that?” josh said teasingly

“i love him alright! Gosh! I cant even stay still when im with you! Not after how you protected us, which im very thankful for.” neysha

“well then, go get him.” josh
”huh?”

“go get him, so that I can give something to you two.” josh

“seriously? What do you really have to give us?” neysha said acting suspicious

“just do it. And don’t worry, its a good thing that im giving you something.” josh

“o-oh.. alright then.” neysha said standing up

“or maybe we should just go to his room instead.” josh stand standing up too

“ok, lets go.” neysha

They then went towards alex room, where alex just came straight from the shower. But as aadrik was also by the door of his room listening to both of them, josh just gave the old man some soul control, which he ordered to let him sleep in his room until dawn comes.

*knock*

“who is it?” alex said as he was still changing

“its us alex, can we come in?” neysha
”oh, alright. Please do come in!” alex said after he got dressed with his shirt and boxers

“hi alex, I have come.” josh

“oh! Sir josh! What do I owe this pleasure?” alex said as neysha closed the door behind them

“let me just ask you once more, what do you seek in gaining the power of the soul?” josh

“at first, it was so that I can talk with my parents once more. Now, I want revenge for what they did!” alex said with anger
”I know how you feel alex, but anger isnt always the solution.” josh

“what do you know about what I have been going through?! from what I can recall about what everyone says, your parents are still alive!” alex

“i know that, but you have to calm down. Do you want to be my student or not?” josh
”yes I do, but what do I do with this rage within me?!” alex

“find ways on how to deal with it yourself, as it is your decision, not mine.” josh

“a-alright then. Revenge is not the answer, then what is?” alex
”alex, im very concerned about you, please don’t go to that road.” neysha

“i probably wont, though what do I do with this rage within me?” alex

“if it were me, I would probably just redirect all that anger towards my training. Though you can also do that right?” josh
”yes, that I can do.” alex

“for now, that will do.” josh said before facing neysha. “can you go beside alex?”

“sure, why?” neysha said as she walks towards alex side

“this is why.” josh said as he produced the whip of justice to tie both of them up

With both of them died up together, alex could literally feel all of her body, while she can literally smell the sweet smell of him fresh from the shower.

“wait! What are you doing?!” neysha

“wait! Is this where you make me tell the truth?!” alex said at the same time as both of them were struggling.
”yes, and for my first question, what do you feel about each other?” josh said smiling

“wh-what do I feel about her?!” alex

“wait! I have already told you about how I feel about alex!” neysha

“let him say it.” josh said before she faces alex again

“u-uhmm.. I do think your beautiful neysha, and im very indebted to your family agreeing for me to stay here, but I just cant say that hold such affectionate feelings for you ever since then when everything is up in smoke.” alex

“since your house went up in smoke? Along with your parents?” neysha

“yes and yes. Im sure im being cursed by allah.” alex

“no you arent!” neysha

“listen here alex! I kinda knew allah, and allah doesnt curse anyone at all. It just depends on what people will believe that makes entities good or bad.” josh

“but--” alex

“no buts!” both of them said

“maybe your just using that as an excuse, but the truth is something you cant hide am I right?” josh

“y-yes. i just love neysha so much that I don’t know what I would do without her in my life!--”

“well, thats already enough right? What more do you need!” josh said happily

“b-but what about my bad luck?” alex

“you wont know your luck until you have lived out your life boy. Now, what will you also say neysha?” josh
”I.. also.. love you!” neysha said before kissing him

With that, josh let go of them both.

“well, off I go then.” josh

“wait, you said you were going to give us something.” neysha said after they kissed

“really? You will give us something?” alex

“sure, but let me ask you. Are you both ready for the responsibilities which will be carried out by a soul warrior?” josh

“what are those?” both of them asked

“your responsibility as a soul warrior is to bring balance to your own country, and do the right thing as a soul warrior would do. So not only will you be able to converse with souls, you will also be in charge with managing the living.” josh

“i agree.” alex

“and what of you neysha?” josh

“wh-what? You also asking me?” neysha said as alex was looking

“yes, the both of you shall have this responsibility from now on aside from recruiting trustworthy allies, so that would include you in it.” josh

“r-really? I mean, I still have my studies to manage as well.” neysha

“we both still have our studies to manage neysha, so what will it be?” alex

“a-alright then. If its with alex, we will conquer all obstacles in our way!” neysha

“very good! Now kneel before me to receive your power.” josh

As alex kneeled before josh, neysha was a little bit hesitant.

“you know, pride is nothing compared to doing the right thing, so what you will be doing now is only little compared to what you will face from now on.” josh

“hahh.. fine.” neysha said as she kneeled

“now lift your heads towards me.” josh said as they do as he said

When they lifted their heads towards josh, josh then activates their heros souls by touching his finger in each forehead. There both of them each reached inside their own soul and saw a silhouette of what their heros souls would be.

“whoa! What was that?!” both of them said

“now you both saw what your heros soul might be, so what both of you should do now is train under me.” josh

“ok, im in.” alex said happily

“i knew it might come to this, but im in anyways.” neysha said as both of them stood up

“anyways, for both of you, my first order of business is: express your love for one another!” josh ordered them

“what?!” both of them said

“what do you expect for us to do anyways?” neysha

“well, only both of you know the answer to that.” josh said with a smile as he grabs the door knob

“uhh.. josh, why do I feel so hot right now? And my heart is beating very fast” neysha

“me too.” alex

“well, I might have used some of my powers there, but hey, at least you will be with the one you love.” josh said with a smile

“alex, what do I do to stop this?” neysha said as she hangs on to alex

“sir josh, what do I do?!” alex

“well, take the lead man! Go for it! I will just go back to my room.” josh said as he exits the room
”oh boy.” alex

By josh order, alex then took the lead in making love towards the love of his life, until morning came.
”hey josh, why do I feel like im forgetting something last night? I was sure I still had a lot of work to do last night.” aadrik said as both neysha and alex were coughing from their food

They were now at the dining room where all 4 of them were now eating breakfast

“you ask me, on the bright side, you had a very good sleep that night right?” josh said as both neysha and alex were both quiet

“yes, and I havent even slept like this ever since, forever!” aadrik said happily

“thats good to know. And regarding the assassination plot--” josh
”yes, I will consult with my closest confidant, the prime minister, mr madi chandra.” aadrik

“oh! Thats reassuring!” josh said agreeing to the plan

“anyways, lets all eat. We have yet to finish and I have work to do over at my company.” aadrik

They then ate, and gone to their respective work after eating. But right after breakfast, neysha grabbed alex and josh by the hand, and dragged them towards the side.

“mind explaining to me why was I sleeping with alex the next morning?” neysha whispered

“uhh.. I just used a little bit of my power to make you guys be as one thats all.” josh said with a gesture

“huh?! your just saying that all casual! Do you know what happens when a princess loses their virginity?!” neysha whispered

“nope, and I don’t care. Anyways, you two do love each other right?” josh

“n-- I mean yes.” neysha said shyly

“yes, with my life.” alex

“then there is no problem at all! Alex just have to take responsibility right after my training, thats all.” josh said casually

“what?!” both of them said

“b-but sir, I-im not ready yet!” alex

“which is why we are also going to train you how.” josh said as he about-face

“b-but--” alex

“but what? So your just going to chicken out? Shes the love of your life right? So man up! Before you become like me.” josh

“why is that sir josh?” alex

“what really did happen in the past josh?” neysha

“what im going to tell you would be just for the 3 of us, alright? I havent even told anyone yet about this aside from my parents and my first student.” josh

“so you already had a student? Thats a surprise.” neysha

“thats rude, of course he already has students. Hes a master after all.” alex

“alright, alright. Once, when I was still a teen, I fell in love with someone from class. During our high school ball, when I touched her hand, electricity suddenly came to me, which meant for me that shes the one for me. But due to my current standing, that I was always stuck at home due to my strict and over concerned parents, I never got the courage to confess to her. I did almost confess once, but in the end, I was also afraid of the outcome. The truth was, I didn’t want to get hurt.” josh said while he looked at the sky

“and then? You just didn’t bother at all?” neysha

“yes, all due to my circumstance. She was in heaven and I was also in earth, just like you two.” josh

“so shes rich, so what?!--” neysha

“you guys wouldnt understand. I also had a friend once which I made him break up with his girlfriend due to a misunderstanding that I caused, cause I was just too honest and didn’t think about the consequences back then. Besides, its a one sided crush that will never come true.” josh

“why is that?” both of them asked

“because, shes already married.” josh said looking at them with sad eyes

“oh, no comment about that.” neysha said as alex agrees

“anyways, im quite satisfied with my life right now. Even if its a slow life for me, its peaceful and I like it.” josh said as he looked at the sky again. “so, lets all train now?” josh suddenly said

“hahh.. way to ruin the mood.” neysha
”you guys should call me master from now on, since I will also be teaching you stuff you will never regret.” josh

“alright master.” alex

“hahh.. fine. But im still not yet forgiving you about the matter with me and alex.” neysha

“oh? You don’t like it being with alex?” josh said teasingly

“its not that I don’t like.. its.. because you just controlled us!” neysha finally was able to say it

“nope, I didn’t. I just increased the number of hormones you guys were excreting, and increased the number of heart beats, to make it more sexy and romantic. This ability of mine is called attraction, so don’t mistake it for mind control.” josh said with a gesture

“hahh.. fine. Anyways, both of us still have classes, so we cant have lessons for now.” neysha

“cancel them. don’t you guys remember, that assassins are after either of you or any other royals?” josh
”good point.” alex

“alright then. So, what do we start with?” neysha said with a gesture

After that, josh trained them in martial arts (his free style), meditation, and gun shooting. For alex, there were also additional lessons just for him, mannerisms, accounting, and lessons that makes one a royal. Even changing his clothes to make himself look like a royal. After 3 days of training, they were both ready, as well as their training with their fears on not to let souls scare them.

“hello there my boy, hope your doing well.”

Alex was now back inside his soul that night, where he saw a clearer picture of the silhouette

“w-who are you?” alex

“who am I? I am emperor nero claudius, remember that!”

“oh. And what do you want from me?” alex

“what do I want? You just passed my test boy. Judging from your life, memories, and many other stuff, you are fit to become an emperor like me! Hahaha!” nero said with confidence

“wow! So this means what?”

“well, before you wake up, know this. You have the power of soul control dwelling within you. And there you have it! Have fun!” nero said before alex woke up in the morning

Right after what he remembered, both neysha and alex ran towards josh.

“whoa there, please speak one by one.” josh said as both of them were speaking simultaneously

“you first neysha.” alex said

“now thats a good example of being a gentleman. Now neysha, what might your troubles be?” josh

“i was approached by this girl in my dream, and she said that her name was asoka, and that I have the power of earth!” neysha

“wow! Thats powerful! Now for alex, what you got for me?” josh

“its the same with neysha, I was approached by this guy named nero claudius, and he said I have the power of soul control dwelling inside me.” alex

“now thats also quite powerful. But always remember what I said guys--” josh

“with great power comes with great responsibility and sacrifice.” all of them said

“good. Now phase 2 of your training begins.” josh said with a smile
