Chapter 6_2

The next morning, rod was a bit tired so he slept for the entire day. Then afternoon came and they all went to tokyo and hired a tour. At night, they came back only to know that there was a local festival going on in the area.

Rod was waiting for the girls in the lobby of the hotel as yukiko had held them for a while. They even also had the students do their free time to enjoy the festival or stay in the hotel as they please.

"sorry for the wait.." yukiko said bringing along with her the girls, all of them wearing yukatas.

"you girls look beautiful in your yukatas.." rod said staring at the four ladies

"i-is that so.." sheryl was embarrassed as she rolled her hair with her fingers while facing to the side

The girls just smiled as rod gave a positive comment to what they were wearing. It was also the first time that the 3 girls wore such a pretty dress such as the yukata. Sheryl then walked at a distance and waved at them

"l-lets go.. Its getting late and the festival is starting.." sheryl

"were coming.." rod

They then go to the festival at the nearby shrine where they enjoyed and ate at the festival.

"hey guys! Come with me for a second." yukiko was waving at them at a distance.

They came to yukiko where they were lead to a place where there was a clear view of the fireworks. Then as no one was paying attention, yukiko pulled rod out from them as the fireworks started and pulled him to the back of the shrine.

Yukiko then put her arms at rods neck. "hey rod, i want you to notice only me for this one time.."

"okay.. Just this time?" rod said as he smiled

Yukiko also smiled before they kissed. By the time the fireworks was over, the girls then searched for them. They eventually found them going at it at the back of the shrine and was angry at both of them. Later at the hot spring baths at night, both of them were being punished by the 3 girls.

The last day of their trip, they all had a trip to kyoto before going back to the philippines

One morning as rod was about to wake up, he felt a heavy object crawling through his body and woke up to the familiar soft sensation that he felt before. When he woke up, he saw flores right above him naked and rubbing herself upon him.

“her flores. Don’t you think you would still have a duty to do later?”

“yes. but ever since our trip and that day, i have been aching for more.. and i like you very much now so that counts.” She said as she licked his body

“alright then. But don’t you think this is a bit overboard?”

“no its not. You should take responsibility of what you did to me so this is the possible consequence.”

“oh boy. “

Stacey then went to his room to wake him up when she saw the sight of flores on top of him naked.

“what are you doing?” stacey

“checking on him if he has any illnesses.”

“that is a good way of checking up. Are you a doctor?” she then approached them as she slowly undresses

“no, but I can try to be one. Watch me.”

“no way. Im a doctor and I should check up on him.” Stacey

“girls, please. Im fine as you can see –“

“you stay still. We will check you up real soon.” Both of them said as they began to continue with the rest.

Both Sheryl and yukiko then got up to his room after a few hours where they were supposed to deliver a message

“rod! We got great news! –“ as they slammed the door open to see him lying down with the 2 girls

“what have we got here.” Yukiko said as Sheryl was blushing

They then approached them “wait Sheryl! Yukiko! This isn’t what you think it is!” rod said

“no way were gonna believe that. Not after your sword is still strong as ever.” Yukiko

“to hell with it! Im totally not gonna lose to these women!” Sheryl shouted when she got to rods sword

“oh well. Let me in with the fun.” Yukiko

“oh boy.” Rod

After a few hours more, they then made their way to the office where a military man was waiting.

“hello rod, I am with the US army and I have great news.”

“good morning. And who might you be?” rod said as he was dressed with just pants and a tshirt as always

“I am colonel kevin sanders, one of the siblings of the man you have saved.”

“oh I see. Send my regards to your sister. And how may I help you?” they then shake hands and proceeded to his office

“I have good news for you.. the culprits have already been arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment. Though they refuse to let you know of who they are as it is a company secret to the government. “

“its alright actually. I have made peace with my past and moved on to the future. Though they deserve to be imprisoned for what they have done to me.”

“yes, they even asked to be imprisoned and surrendered themselves than to be hunted down.” Kevin

“alright then. Though what brings a colonel of the US army in here?”

“there is actually a development where a number of young people try to adventure the forests of Cuba and have disappeared.”

“oh yeah, I also received a request yesterday in finding their child who had gone missing saying that he and his friends are off to cuba for an adventure.” sheryl said as she and the girls have just arrived

“hmm.. let us think about this request though is this the contents of your request as well?” rod said as he then faced kevin

“yes. We received a number of notices about people who were lost and never to came back. They were all American teens and adventurers who pursued what you have wrote in your book.”

“oh boy. I even said there that those places are haunted.”

“some people really don’t get the warnings don’t they?” Stacey

“and the request goes like this. Please take a look at a last known place in the jungle that one of those people were last found. Am I right? “ flores

“yes. There is a last known transmission from one of them stating that they are going after the memories that are stated in your book.” Kevin

“oh boy. We got a situation here.” rod

“your right. This is bad. I also have another news that other people are also starting to go after the memories stated in this book from all other the globe. The other presidents are having a hard time controlling the situation as investigators are all over the place investigating. They even have some dirt on some politicians which made it quite a mess in their respective governments.”

“I see. But we will not agree to the project that your suggesting colonel kevin. We already have our hands full with our research and managing the company.” Rod

“then let me treat you guys to some mcdonalds. It’s the least I could do for saving my old man.

“sure!” they all agreed and go to mcdonalds.

At mcdonalds where they ate.

“are the other projects proceeding as planned?” Sheryl

“what plans?” kevin

“like NASA with project paper plane, or the air force maybe. And other projects.” Yukiko

“well, I wasn’t briefed with the projects but some might be able to see the light of day.”

“I see.” Rod said as he ate his burger

But then there was a rumor spreading that an australian cargo ship was in the atlantic doing the same thing they did.

“what they heck are they doing.” Kevin said as he pulled out his smart phone to see a live feed of the ship. Rod and the girls also did the same thing with their smart phones.

The ship did the same thing as with them but with some customizations. For a while, it went smoothly but then they didn’t catch anything out of the nets they have added to the drill drones. Then the squids came back with a vengeance where the people there then used a mobile armor to defend themselves. For hours they fought but eventually, the ship was flipped around where the boat sank and the flying drones all went black as they fell down.

“this is why I said in the description that the adventure was a perilous one. “ rod

“those poor souls. Don’t you feel responsible for them?” kevin

“yes we do. As we have already warned the people many times, it is now up to them if they will believe us or not.” Stacey

A boy then came to them. “are you the iron guy from the video?”

“this was the guy.” Kevin pointed at rod

“wont you save them? You are a hero right?”

“no were not. Were just human. “ Stacey

“but my dad said that with you guys, you can save everyone.”

“its already too late for them. “ yukiko

“how about everyone else?”

“there is a limit to what we can always do kid. “rod said as he patted the boy in the head. “now run along to your dad give this to him.” He then handed a paper with their signatures

The boy then got back to his dad where they then immediately got out and gone home.

“innocence is bliss huh.. “ kevin said as he broads over thinking “you mean that we were better off not knowing your secrets is that also it.”

“it is a part of it. The only way we can help is to help mankind.” Sheryl

“that is true.” Yukiko

“can we just move along and go back? We got something else to do.” Flores said as she was mad at the whole situation that she cant help

They then go back to their house where all was quiet and the soldier returned to their country.

One day, he got an invitation for a sponsorship with a south Korean technology research company.

“hey rod. You got a mail from a sungsung industries.” Sheryl then brought the mail to his room where all of the girls are also sleeping beside him.

Sheryl was still on her night gown and haven’t yet showered so she thought as always, she would be the one to first wake him up. So while he was asleep, she then lowered his shorts. After a while, he then woke up to the scene of her doing something and woke up entirely.

“morning Sheryl your up early“

“morning rod. Here is the mail this morning.”

“thanks. “

"Though what are you doing sheryl?"

"nothing but just the usual. Now hurrybup and read the letter."

He then read the letter from a Korean tech company that would like to sponsor as well for their company.

“its from a south Korean tech company. Should we respond?” sheryl

“yes. The more to sponsor with our research facility, the better. Only your family financing this facility would be very hard on you Sheryl.”

“rod. You care about me and my family that much.”

“well. Lets just go and hear what they would say.”

“alright then.”

Sheryl then abandoned what she was doing and woke everyone up to ready for the day.

On the airport, they then arrived. Sheryl with her white dress, rod with his gray suit, suit case, another big case, and flores with her body guard outfit.

“we finally arrived in seoul. Where would our ride be?” Sheryl said as she was looking around outside the airport

“lets wait for a while. They said they are close to the airport now. There must be heavy traffic along the way. “ flores

“maybe. Alright then, lets all wait.” Rod

They waited for a few minutes then their ride came where they were taken to the company building.

“that was a long ride.” Sheryl said as she stretched

Rod then saw a speeding black car pass by and saw a girl crying before they proceed to the building. On the top floor where they were presented with a guard opening the door and on towards the president of the company.

“welcome to my office ladies and gentlemen. Please have a seat.”

“hello and good morning. Thank you for the invitation.” Sheryl

“im kung shao chun, the president of this company. How about a breakfast?” a man with gray hair said as he ate breakfast while gesturing for them to sit.

“no thanks. But if you might have some, we could use a little breakfast. “ rod said as they sat on the chairs

“alright then. Jun, please prepare breakfast for them.”

“yes sir. “ his secretary said as he prepare breakfast for all of them

“I hear that you have been busy since the..atlantis project is it?”

“yes sir. “ rod

“good to know that a company is doing good. Though as a research center, you definitely lack the resources to build or research more is it not true?”

“true. And we could use another investor such as yourself in helping with our research center.” Sheryl said and rod agrees

“I would also agree to that so here is my proposal.” He then lets rod see a paper containing his proposal

Rod and Sheryl then read the papers and after a while, a man came in and whispered at kung.

“what?!”

“yes sir. And we are now on it.”

“good. So why are you still standing there?! Go!” kung said as he orders the man to go

“what happened?” rod said as he is still reading the papers

“nothing that you should be concerned.”

“really? As another investor, it is also our duty to protect their interests. “

“hmm..” kung was thinking.

After a few minutes, kung then came to a conclusion. “since you guys are the ones on the video, with the atlantis project, And also with the armor and exposing those generals from their misconduct, I guess I will let you in on this.”

“alright then. So what is the issue at hand?” rod

“my granddaughter has been kidnapped.” Kung said after he stood up to face the windows

“what can we do to help then?” Sheryl

“right now, my men are conducting a search for her and maybe in a matter of minutes, they might find something. Just when we just met each other earlier, this happened” kung said while gritting his teeth.

“I see. It might have been that time when I saw a crying child pass by from a speeding car.” Rod

“what?! You saw her?!”

“yes.”

“did you also see the plate number of the car?”

“unfortunately, no.”

“I see. We have to widen our search to the whole city then.”

“let us also help.” Flores said as she brought out her phone

“that would be great.”

“let me also call from some of my newly acquired contacts.” rod said holding his phone

They all agreed and both flores and rod called their contacts with the government. Then After a few minutes later of waiting.

“they said that it would still take some time before they can find some clues.” Flores

“same here.” Rod

“my men have already reported to the police about this and is now on the search for her. I think that we should wait for this.” Kung

“for now, lets hold this meeting as a life is at stake. Though you would agree to being an investor at hurricane industries right?” Sheryl

“yes. If you can also find her and help us, we would be glad to finance your projects as well.” Kung

“no, let us work together as well.” Rod

“yes, anything at all just to get my granddaughter back!”

“alright then. What should we do for now until word will arrive?” rod

“lets take a tour of seoul for now. I would like to see its sights.” Sheryl

“alright then. Lets do that.” Rod

“are you guys mad? There is a life at stake and this is all that you can do?” kung

“yes. Until word has arrived, there is nothing that we can do.” Rod

Kung gritted his teeth over the fact and just sat there in the long table, sad.

Rod, Sheryl, and flores then go outside the building and hired a taxi to take them around seoul. They first go to Gyeongbokgung where they enjoyed dressing up in Korean attire.

“hey rod, were gonna dress up, would you like to join us?” flores

“no. for the sake of common courtesy.”

“that’s too bad. We will have more fun without you.” Flores

“well, have fun.” Rod said as he headed to the changing room

Flores then pouted and gone to the womens changing room.

“oh! Look at this! Sheryl, you have really grown much.” Flores in the changing room

Rod also overheard from the other room.

“will you stop it flores. Ummhh.. “ Sheryl moaned as flores fondled her breasts

“come on. Let rod hear you loud and clear.” Flores

“stop it! He can always fondle them as he wants but not here!”

“oh? Why not?”

“lets just finish changing!”

On the other side of the wall, rod was blushing while a girl was dressing him up which she was also giggling.

When rod was done, he got outside first.”you girls done?”

“yes dear.” Flores said as she got out

Sheryl also got out where rod complimented them and took pictures. After that, they had gone to many other places to eat, shop, and see its history. They then go to a mountain top scenery where they can see the whole city.

“this has been a good trip.” Sheryl

“yes. We all had our fun.” Rod

“The scene here is great rod.” Flores

“you know, I have been thinking about when colonel Kevin arrived. “ Sheryl

“me too. I mean, we literally cant do anything with the situation. “ flores

“if only we can save everyone. Though that is clearly an impossible task for us.” Sheryl

“yes. we are only humans of course.” Rod

“you know at the time when I heard that you have saved me, I was filled with gratitude for you. I mean, 6 months being out cold would really be a scary thought since I literally had no recollection of anything that happened to me while I was out. Unlike you.” sheryl

“yeah, I was also glad that time that there was nothing wrong with me though as you also have said, its also scary of the thought that you were on a coma for 1 year.”

“I also thought of the meaning of life and its importance after that too.” Sheryl

“how about you flores? You got something to share?” rod

“me? No. but I was also thankful for you too.” Flores

“why?”

“when I found out about what happened after I was caught, I was glad that I was caught. “ flores blushes “in both our time and after I got out. That I have been thinking about what you said.”

“that being with the military would really make you stiff?”

“yeah. Since I saw the video of you guys fighting those sea monsters, I was reminded how humans can be amazing and that I should have trusted you that time. I had too much faith on the military.” Flores

“no. your faith wasn’t misplaced. But that time, it was pride that has clouded their judgement. And I also think that I would understand them to be suspicious though they should have trusted me from the start.” rod said with confidence

“yes they should have. Thanks to their pride and suspicion, it has led to that predicament. “ sheryl

“though wise as they may be, some people would still make the wrong judgement. That is what makes us human.” Rod

They all agreed and they then received a text message saying that they have no information on the event. Only that the black market is awfully busy.

“this is bad. And just as I feared.” Rod

“just as we feared rod.” Sheryl

“hold on. There is a call from kung, let me get this.” Rod

“hello kung, what have you got?”

“the police received information about a trade to be conducted on the port tonight. im now at the police station cooperating with the police.”

“we should be careful since this might be a trap or something.”

“yes, your right. Which is why the police is going undercover. We shouldnt interfere with their work.”

“your right. Though we will also be monitoring the situation if that is alright.”

“they said its alright though we shouldn’t mess up the mission.”

“roger that. What else?”

“that’s all. i will wait for word from the police when everything is done.”

“alright then. Bye.”

Rod then drops the call.

“he said that they received word about a deal going on at the port tonight. The police are now on it and we shouldn’t interfere.” Rod said to the girls

“but what if it’s a trap?” Sheryl

“which is why I called Stacey to ready the private jet for a drop off. We are to go to the airport now for the delivery.” Flores

“great job flores. Lets go.” Rod

They then go to the airport where Stacey still in her lab attire was waiting for them with the cargo.

“your late! And as ordered, here are the materials that you would need in your current mission.” Stacey

“sorry, traffic. Though thanks Stacey.” Rod

“what about me?” Sheryl

“you guys stay here in the jet while me and flores go undercover.” Rod

“your coming also rod?” flores

“yes. That is why I also had Stacey make this for me in times like this. Thanks for reading my mind.”

“that’s no problem. You’re the man that I fell for after all. “ Stacey

“well then flores, lets go.”

9:00pm, on seouls port, cargo area. 2 cars arrive along with a humvee. Then 2 more cars arrive on the other side. Both sides got out of the car, one of them had the children and another with a suitcase.

“do you have the children?”

“yes. They are here.”

“no one is following you right?”

“none. “

“the lieutenant likes it that there are no hindrances to this operation.”

They then had a representative for each side go near each other to confirm the goods. After they have confirmed of the goods, they exchanged. Then the police shone their lights on all sides.

“hands up gangs! This is the police!”

Police cars then surround the exits and policemen close in on all sides. There in the shadows on top of the building near the event, 2 mysterious figures appears and closes in.

“crap! The police!”

“you said you weren’t followed!”

“I didn’t know about this! There must be someone who told!”

“anyways, our deal here is done! Lets scramble!”

They then got to their cars but was surprised by the police.

“hands up in the air! Resist and you will get it!”

The gangs then opened fire. The one with the child then hopped on to the car. As there were 2 children, 2 cars were used.

“flores, you with the right, Im with the left one.” Comms

“roger.” Comms

Intense fire goes on as all 4 cars start their engines ready to flee. The cars then rode straight to the police barricade and went passed it. that was when they heard a motorcycle also chasing them with one of the mysterious figures.

The cars hurry up and split in the intersection leading to different directions, north and east. The motorcycle went to the north which made the other car head to the east, until something bumped at the top of the car.

a laser sword pierced through the roof of the car and the car then tries to get the extra passenger off, riding the car side to side. Until the roof had a square hole, they then saw a mysterious man with black armor. All that was in the cars try to shoot him but he was bullet proof because of the armor.

“release the girl!” as he had the sword at the throat of who was holding the child

The girl was released but not after injuring her with one of the ricochet of one of the bullets. The girl then got up as well as one of the people saying not to shoot at the foot of the mysterious figure. The mysterious figure then jumped off the car and ran back towards the port as the criminals then escaped.

At the port, there was then a mysterious figure with armor that appeared, holding the girl.

“hold it there! Drop the girl and reveal yourself!”

“no worries men! Its me!” rod then opens his helmet to reveal himself

“is that who I think it is?” a policeman said as rod still walks towards them

“yes! Its rod mason! I saw him in the video fighting with squids and sea monsters!”

“you may pass! But bring down the—“

“I cant! Shes injured! She needs first aid immediately.” Rod then arrived to one of the policemen to hand over the girl

“whatever the case, doing a stunt like this is too dangerous even for you.”

“I know. But this is also to protect company interests.” Rod

Then flores arrived at the distance riding a motorcycle.

“your friend have the other child? And who is he”

“my friend is a she and it seems that she didn’t have the child. “

Flores then arrived. “I lost them. But I put a GPS tracker on them. “

“good. This would lead us to the ones who requested the exchange.” Rod

“for now, lets explain the situation to kung and the police.”

Rod and flores then explained the situation to the police where they accompany to the police station to also brief kung. Good thing was that the child was kungs daughter, the only thing left was the identity of the other child.

"as agreed, i will fund your research facility." kung

Kung then pulled out the contract from his pocket and tore it to pieces.

Rod was about to say something when flores stopped him.

“chief! We received intelligence that another trade was conducted on the north! “

“what?! Is the info reliable?”

“yes. From one of our inside men. “

“from your inside men? Who is responsible for this whole fiasco?” flores said as she butt in the conversation

“from the mafia.”

“what?! And you know who they are dealing with?” flores and rod

“no. but lets find out by the GPS tracker.”

After an hour, the GPS tracker entered the north korean border.

“oh boy. This is bad.” Rod said before they lost the tracking signal due to signal blockers

“we have a situation here people.” Flores said as she explained the situation

“I should call UN about this.” Rod

“lets do that. This has certainly become an international problem.” Flores

Rod then picks up his phone and calls the UN.
