Chapter 4

after the fight, the prisoners were freed from the restraints and where they promise themselves to now serve rod. then rod finally slept in a room inside the mansion being guarded by all of the yakuza.

There was a knock in the door.

“hey rod san.” Kaori said as she enters the room with a coat

“umm.. kaori san.. wh—“ rod said as he hadn’t yet slept in his bed

“kaori is fine.. can I sleep with you?” she said as she undressed

“why is that?”

“im your wife now, remember?”

“b-but according to sasuke, you have a bo—“

“hes dead. And I don’t know what to do anymore, all of this is too sudden for me.” Kaori said as she sat on the bed

“im sorry about that. Though it doesn’t mean I can be a replacement for him.”

“no you aren’t, which is why this will be temporary.”

“yes, it might. But knowing your father, he wouldn’t take no for an answer from you.”

“true. So let us just be friends for now.”

“yes, lets just be friends.”

“just what are we going to do about the wedding?”

“nothing, its mostly a settled matter anyway which is why im here right now.”

“a womans body is not a thing, you are yourself.” Rod then approached kaori and touched her shoulders

“yes, your right. Anyways, we will now always be together, so let us get to know each other more.” Kaori then faces rod

“h-hold on. Are you really sure on what your doing?”

“yes.” She then kissed him

“hold it. might you just be sad for your fallen love?” rod said as he slightly pushes her away

“maybe. We were only for 6 months anyway, though im sure that he would have wanted me happy.” Kaori said as she faces the floor

“I see.” Rod then hugs her from behind and pats her head

“there is no need to force things you know. If you truly don’t want to, then its alright. I will just command the yakuza on my end while you will live a happy life of your own.”

“that’s really sweet of you rod san, which still leaves me the option to follow the ways of the yakuza as I have been taught—“

“no, the yakuza will change through me.”

“how?”

“the yakuza will now be changed to a peace keeping force under the darkness.”

“hmm.. I think I might fall for you.” Kaori giggled

“whoa.. hold on.”

“just joking. Though not now, but maybe in the future I might fall for you if you keep this up.” Kaori smiled

“what?”

“you know, atsushi, my former boyfriend, wanted us to be far from the yakuza which was also why I like him. But with you, maybe you can change everything.”

“yes, I will change everything. Though are—“

She kissed him again and pushed him back.

“no more buts, cause im taking the lead.” She said as she got on top of him

“umm-- be gentle with me?” rod just smiled at the inevitable

Kaori smiled as she kissed him with a deep kiss and continued on.

Then that night, at the pier once more, rod in his suit prepares to engage in a deal with the muslim trader. They have then arrived at the pier where rod got out of the car and walks straight into the trader.

“hello my friend, I believe that you are new.”

“yes, I am. Can you now let me see the goods?”

“yes yes.”

The trader then lets him see the energy weapons in his car where he looked at every weapon thoroughly. Then rod aims the energy weapon at the trader where his men also noticed and readies themselves.

“men, you can come out now.” Rod shouted

Then in the darkness behind the warehouses, all of the yakuza appeared before them.

“make your men lower their weapons trader.” Rod

“lower your weapons, we are outmatched here.”

His men then lowered their weapons and surrendered themselves.

“now, tell me all the information you know, starting with the routes where the black market is selling the energy weapons.”

“no, I wont tell you—“

Rod then shot him with an energy bullet in the shoulders which really exploded it when it landed a hit.

“these things are really dangerous.”

“alright alright! owww..” he said as he cried

“now tell me the routes or I will blow up your limbs..”

“o-okay.. please spare me..”

His men saw what happened and cowered in fear of what he might do to them if they wont sit still, and with all the yakuza aiming on them.

“one route is through the middle east and the other would be in china, through the triads and the mafia as well in Europe.”

“I see. Thank you for your service.” Rod then faces sasuke who was behind him listening all the way. “hey..”

Sasuke was also busy thinking of all the connections that would lead them.

“hey!”

Sasuke snapped out of it

“what?”

“tend to his wounds please, I got some questioning to do with the rest as well.” Rod said as he lets go of the trader and gone to the other men still holding the energy weapon.

The next day, the police station in Kyoto was surprised of some people being tied up at their doorstep with a letter addressed to the president. Then the letter was given to the president where he read it.

“dear president, I give these men to you as a sign of my own apology for the crimes that the yakuza had done over some years. Please do take note that the yakuza will now be taking a new leaf as a peace keeping force under the darkness. Love, your newly made man.”

The president and his staff thought of it as a riddle where the president was seriously pissed off at the answer, at the same time glad for the situation being resolved. Then in the afternoon, the yakuza searched all over the mansion for them only to have no signs until another letter was found in kaoris bedroom.

“dear father, please do forgive me for this as I will now go with rod. we decided to not inherit the yakuza and just run away. Though we also prepared a special gift for you, I don’t really know if you will be happy or not but we will remain firm with our decision on this.”

Then on the next few pages are all the contracts and titles which were now entitled to rod that was given to him the other day. At the last of those contracts was another contract stating of a transfer of everything that they own and manage, and the entire yakuza group to mitsuhiro and that the group shall now become a peace keeping group or else they would face the wrath of the president.

*ring*

“hello mitsuhiro nii san, can you confirm of this letter—“

“so it has been received huh. And yes, I even confirmed of this before they left.”

“j-just where have they gone now?!”

“I don’t know. They never told me.”

“just why are they doing all this?! Do you even know nii san!?”

“yes, I have a hunch. Though I would also be including all these contracts on my will for him. He has made me so proud that I would be proud to make him as my own son.”

With that, mitsushi dropped the call and committed suicide due to his pride being shattered into pieces.

At the airport in china, they have finally arrived where a ride was waiting for them.

“hey kaori, are you really sure you wanted to come along?” rod said as they were walking towards the exit

“yes, I do. Im your wife now—“

“do you really even know the possibilities of what would come next with your own old man?”

“yes I do. I would be lying that I would have regretted coming here, but after what he did with my mother, leaving her as she was dying by mafia hands, I would be glad for him to join with my mother now in heaven.”

“your ruthless you know that.”

She giggles. “a woman has many secrets you know.” She also smiled.

“hey guys! Here is our ride!” sasuke waves at a distance as he was accompanied by a man

“hello. and im detective xiao yin tin. Nice to meet all of you, and specially you rod mason.”

“why is that?” kaori

“because sasuke here speaks highly of you and you have the attention of the world ever since your stunts in the atlantic ocean and south korea.”

“I see.” rod said as he shook hands

“lets now get in the car and find that source of yours xiao.” Sasuke

“yes, of course.”

After their ride to check in to a hotel, they then go with xiao to their source.

“just how long does xiao need to get to his source?” kaori

Xiao and sasuke had gone to the source where rod and kaori was left for a while at the side of a local warehouse.

“patience kaori, patience.” Rod said as he was playing with his phone

“your just glad that you have something to do while we wait. Im tired of waiting.” Kaori

“then how about sleeping on me.”

“hmm.. that’s alright.. but I am sure getting sleepy from all this waiting so I will ride along.”

“alright then, hop in.” rod invites her to his shoulder

After a few minutes, kaori fell asleep in his shoulder as they wait for xiao with his information. Then after a few hours more, xiao and sasuke came back.

“were back.” Sasuke said as he opened the door

Sasuke and xiao then hop in the car for a long explanation

“glad your back. “ rod said with a smile as kaori was sleeping on his shoulder

“we now have information for a trade off in the outskirts of the city where both the Chinese mafia and triad will trade with a weapons dealer.”

“hmm.. sounds like time to mess up their plans. Though you also remember it right sasuke?” rod

“yes yes.. this time, I will stay still.” Sasuke

“just what happened there with him?” xiao

“he almost ruined the plan with his sense of justice. Though I cant blame him, this time, were seriously outnumbered.” Rod

“yes, which is why we should stick to the plan and be like ghosts.” Kaori suddenly wakes up and rubs her eyes

All nodded to the plan and have gone back to their hotel where they wait until nightfall.

In their hotel room, rod and kaori rested for the day.

“hey kaori, what do you think about our relationship?” rod said as he was in his bed

“we should still get to know each other more, as friends.” Kaori said as she was tending to her face

“as I figured. Though what did happen to us that time, what do you think?”

“that time did happen, but it might not happen anymore ever since im now free from the yakuza.”

“hmm.. so it was just friendly, right?”

“yes. the times called for it. But I did like that time. Do you?”

“me too.”

“should we do it now?”

“no. we should reserve our strength for the next mission. I feel that this mission will be tougher.”

“I see. so what now?”

“we sleep for now. aren’t you sleepy?”

“ just slept earlier so im still active.”

“what would you like to do now?”

“I don’t really know. It’s the first time that i got out of my comfort zone and out in the world.”

“let me guess, in the past, you were granted almost anything of your desire.”

“yes, that’s right. Clothes, shoes, toys, you name it. Though I was always curious of the outside world.”

“just one question though. Are you sure your really up for this?”

“as the heiress of the yakuza group, I have also been trained in my teens by my father, kendo and aikido.”

“hmm.. the outside world isn’t that forgiving you know. Though I wont risk the chance of you getting hurt.”

She was done combing her hair and sat in rods bed.

“are you belittling me?”

“no, im concerned for your well being as a close friend.”

“thank you, your sweet which is why I like you. Aside from my lost uncle being my last family, you are the closest as it gets.”

“I have no words for that only that I will also ensure your safety as a friend, that I promise.”

She then kissed him. “you can now go to sleep my king. I will come with you later.” She also smiled as she lies beside him.

Rod then slept through the afternoon.

At a black night at the outskirts of the city, rod and kaori hid in the trees as they hear the conversation done while sasuke and xiao does the same on the other side. The trade was done the same as with the yakuza only that there were 3 parties involved.

“just why is the mafia here?” a triad rep said in chinese

“why? Are you afraid of us?” the triad rep

The 2 representatives were walking towards the muslim trader

“don’t ever disrespect us mafia. We will always be ready for war if you ever lay a hand on us.” Triad rep

“hmm.. lets see.. with the new weapons that we will buy, the balance might shift to us.” Mafia rep

“gentlemen! Welcome! Please come and see my new products fresh from the production line.” Trader speaking in english

“lets now see the goods.”

First, the trader had them see their orders for MK-16s and other weapons on the black market. then after careful inspection of their items, the trader had them see the new energy weapons. As the area had quite a lot of trees, the trader demonstrated the rifle at a nearby tree besides rod where kaori almost screamed. Good thing that there was an aftershock of electricity which emitted a sound which covered her voice.

Rod shushed kaori where she obeyed. Her heart beating fast as the blast was at a tree near them. Then the trade was almost finished when the mafia handed 2 suitcases filled with money to the trader. Threatened by this, the triad rep stopped the mafia from their trade.

“what are you doing?” mafia rep

“you mustn’t trade with them yet, I haven’t yet received the payment for our share as well.” Triad rep

“so what?”

“do you want a war with us?”

“if that’s how it is, then so be it.”

The mafia rep then shoots the triad rep causing an internal feud. The muslim trader witnessing the fight then goes back to their car and scrams with all the goods. Sasuke and xiao, knowing this, ran back for their plan to rendezvous about 5 yards down the road.

“kaori, you go back to the rendezvous point now.”

“what about you rod?”

“I still got some business to do with them. Please stick to the plan.”

“damn it! It really had gone this way. We were this close at putting a tracer on them.”

“yes, I know. Which is why you should stick to the plan now.”

There, bullets had gone blazing everywhere even in the trees near them that kaoris heart went bumping hard. It was also the first time that kaori has experience this as she looked everywhere. Rod then redirected her attention to him.

“your experiencing it now right? The extreme bumping in your heart.”

Kaori nodded

“that is called fear kaori. Even I want you to still live so you should run and stick to the plan. Go with them for now and join the investigation for their next move.”

Kaori cried as she nodded since she knew that her closest friend was going to do something very dangerous. After that, she ran while crouching towards the rendezvous point while rod readies himself for his part of the plan.

Rod then goes into the fray where he sided with the triads and pulled out a gun that lay beside a dead triad. Guns blazing, triad and mafia fought it out until the last man. The triads wondered who he might be under that helmet but just didn’t mind as they were busy with the mafia.

A few minutes later, as both sides were almost running out of ammo, rod then runs towards the mafia side and draws out his ninja sword. There, he then killed the rest of the mafia under a black night. Later, as gunfire wasn’t heard on the other side, the last triad standing took aim and goes to the other side.

As he nears the cars of the mafia, he then saw the armored man stand up from the darkness and took aim.

“who are you?!” he spoke in Chinese

“speak English.” Rod said in english

“I no speak English. Thank you for help.”

Rod nodded as the triad member lowers his weapon. Rod then gestured him to come near only to pick the pockets of every mafia member which he did eventually before going back to the car. Then rod knocked at the car and the triad member notices it.

“take me to your leader or boss.” Rod

The triad member nodded as it was the least that he could do for rod saving him. After a long drive towards one part of the city, they stopped at a local building where local Chinese people all pass by in the night. There they went to the building even as the people were staring at them, for the triad members torn clothes and the man in black armor.

In a room at the top floor, local thugs stood guarding the door where the triad member spoke in Chinese explaining the situation. There, they let the member in where as rod tried to get in, the thugs bumped at him and understood that that member must explain the situation first.

After a few minutes of waiting, another thug got out to let rod in and guided him towards the far corner of the room. There 3 old Chinese men playing mahjong were present as well as a young beautiful Chinese lady in china dress, maybe in her twenties, was also playing.

As he stood there, and after one of the old men declared a win did he feel their stares at him.

“speak english.” Rod warned first

“okay strange man. Who are you?” one of the old men

“my identity is of no matter as to what will happen to you in the next few days.” Rod got straight to the point

“what happened there was unfortunate. But rest assured, we are capable of fending ourselves.” One of the old men

“hmm.. okay then.”

Rod just stood there, still not lowering his guard as he also felt a strange air around the large room filled with men just gambling and tobacco

“what do you want from us stranger, to help us?”

“yes. I want to help you get rid of the mafia.”

“then how much will you want?”

“its for free.”

“no way, your offering your service for free? What is your aim?” the lady spoke

“let me get to the chase. My aim is just to destroy the mafia.”

Rod didn’t say anything more since he had a feeling that these people would also want those energy weapons.

“listen here. We are not idiots. Work for us or get out.” One of the old men took an interest in rod

“should we let this guy in? like really?” the girl

“yes we should. He has no other choice” one of the old men later agrees with the other

Rod then notices the restlessness at his back where one of the men tried to threaten him with a knife, he notices it and got around the man only to catch his head and break it with his shoulders. The other men took notice of this and ready their arms pointing at him. But as rod notices this, he then ran straight to the men, drawing his ninja sword to kill those men one by one.

The old men took notice of this and ordered to stop in Chinese.

“stop now rod mason!” the lady shouted

Rod then stopped only to kill the man who tried to go near him.

“I know of you rod mason, you were wonderful with your video.”

“on what ground do you think im rod mason?” rod said walking towards them, splashing blood on the floor before unsheathing his ninja sword

“because of your armor. I think it’s the same armor as with the video.” The lady said

“whats your name?”

“im lin lin yao”

“well, your wrong lin. Im not rod. im just a ghost.”

“well ghost, you certainly have done well in protecting the last man in the fight with mafia.”

“yes. Because we share the same interest.”

“what is that?”

“to destroy the mafia.”

“what do you have against the mafia?” one of the old men said while shivering, fearing for his life

The other old men even scolded the other men in laying a hand against the ghost.

“now that is personal. So, which will it be? Me helping you or I go out?”

The old men argued in chinese on what to do.

“what makes you special? We can always hire others.” lin

“wont you take free of charge as an answer?”

The old men argued even more on their current situation.

“you know, im just glad that you’re here. Its true we now need men.” Lin

“lin lin! Watch your mouth!” the 3 old men

“just who changes your diapers? And who suggest to buy new weapon from trader?” lin

“we have been in charge ever since before you were born! So you listen!” one of the old men

“no, I wont. And who even takes charge here now a days?”

The 3 old men then had no say.

“now back to ghost.” Lin

“so, whats your current status?”

“we are in bad need of men to fight mafia, if its true they pick a fight.”

“yes, its true. You wouldn’t be able to watch it on the news since it will be covered.”

“probably. Does anyone object to him joining us?” lin said towards the men at the back who were cowering in fear to what he can do.

“so, what are we doing staying still? Lets fight them now.”

“do you know where they are?”

“yes. I just searched all the mafia members for any clues and found their base.”

“I see. Let me call all my men then.”

“we must act now or else they will grow even more powerful by tomorrow. The trader will be swayed by all their money and give the new weapons to them.”

“what?!” lin said as the 3 old men couldn’t believe it

Lin then brings out her phone and calls all their forces hiding in the city.

After a few hours, at an abandoned parking lot, all of the triads gathers.

“listen men! We must act now!” lin said after she got on top of a car in her china dress

“for what?”

“war!”

There were then murmurs among all the members. Rod remained in the roof where the 3 old men had him remain for a while. Rod then enters the room once more towards the 3 old men who were standing.

“what is really your purpose here ghost?”

“my purpose? Is just to destroy the mafia.”

“we may be old, but we have dealt with far more people than anyone and we know character.”

“hmm.. im being found out huh.. well then..”

With a smile under the helmet, rod then heads to the doors to go outside.

“lets say to destroy and bring balance once more to the world.”

With that, rod left the 3 old men and gone downstairs where lin lin was done with her speech.

There at the mountains, lies a mansion where it was heavily guarded which was just right on the other side of where they trade from earlier took place. In the car, rod listened to their plan which was just to attack them upfront as they knew that the mafia boss would be there.

Rod just nods at their plan for an all out war where he is also the focal point of it. At the entrance of the mansion, where 2 guards were guarding, triad snipers shoots the 2 guards. Then the doors to the entrance suddenly opens and for a while the guards on the other side of the gate noticed something off and readies their guns.

Then humvees drove beyond the doors where thugs with high powered weapons shoots at the men. This had attracted attention with the inner guards where a firefight has begun. The triads didn’t give the mafia any time to prepare as they drove towards the mansions front lawn where there was a fountain at the center.

With an army of thugs, rod and lin lin came out of the humvee and goes to the front door where the mafia boss was about to shake hands with the trader. Then in a flash, rod ran towards the trader where he injured the traders limbs. At the side, was also an energy weapon aimed at lin lin where rod noticed it and threw the trader at lin lin. The trader went straight to lin lin and bumping into her, and being shot in her place with the energy bullet.

Then rod ran towards the side where men were carrying with energy weapons and killed them. But during the commotion, the mafia leader suddenly went upstairs to hide himself only to be spotted by rod.

“are you okay?” rod said after running towards lin lin

“im alright. but can you find another way for that?”

“no, I couldn’t. anyways, lets get the mafia boss now.”

“okay.”

Rod then got lin lin to get up and ran upstairs with a couple of thugs. There, the thugs checks every room there is until rod and lin lin heard gun shots in a room. They then got to the side of the door where the boss was holding a gun pointing at who ever shall enter the room.

“why do you wage war on us.. the deal would be fine if you not buy the new weapons!”

“I do—“

Rod then ran inside the room running in a zigzag pattern before going to the boss and knocked him down.

“great job.” Lin said as she enters the room

They also saw that there were also slaves inside the room which was cowering in fear of what happened, then rod directed his attention back to lin lin

“now lets get out of here.” Rod

Then with rod holding her hand, they got back downstairs where the firefight was getting worse as more mafia members came in from the outside. they then go inside the Humvee that slammed into the front door where rod drove the Humvee to escape.

“what are you doing?!” lin

“hold on tight.”

Rod backs up in full throttle and drives the Humvee towards the exit with guns blazing all over, even when they exit, they got passed a few cars that were on their way towards the mansion.

“wait! Are you leaving them?!”

Rod didn’t say anything during their escape with all the questions that lin lin barraged him. Then in the night sky, they heard the sound of helicopters passing by, where rod made her shut up just to listen up in the sky.

“what is that?”

“it’s the military, as expected.”

“wait, you knew?!”

“to an extent.”

Lin lin went quiet during the whole ride back to the city. And when they got back near the road leading to the building of the triads hideout where the 3 old men was waiting, they stopped in order for rod to pull lin lin out of the car and talk.

“whoaw.. what the hell!” lin lin said as she was being pulled out of the car

“this is your stop.”

“why?”

“down this road would be the triad building right? You now have over 2 choices.”

“wait, what do you mean?”

“option 1.. go back to the triads.. 2.. get a decent life.. which will it be?”

“wait.. can I do that now?”

“yes you can.”

“b-but they will find me!”

“no they wont. Knowing what might happen in the next few hours.”

“what? What would happen? Tell me!”

“I don’t know which is why im giving you the option to hide yourself.”

“the triads will come to kill me for betraying them!”

“I don’t care.”

“wait! Please hear me..” lin lin was then crying

“make it quick.”

She nodded. “when I was a child, my father was a gangster and my mother was ordinary saleslady at drug store. But one day, mom could not take it and left so its just me and papa. And when I was teen, there was fight with mafia for land and my papa was killed. They say my papa was one of the head of triad in this land. With nothing left, I got my way to the top so I could live. So what are you now telling me to do when my life will now change?”

“go search for a job like everybody else and earn a living. Make a new name and live.”

“all I know is just manage triad. This first time I also kill but I was humiliated and tortured my way to the top. I don’t know what to do.”

For a while, There was then a silence as lin lin cries her heart out and rod was thinking.

“how much do you know about the triad?”

“many”

“in exchange for your information will be your freedom from the triads. Do you understand?”

“yes! yes! I understand!” lin lin was then smiling with tears on her face

They then got back to the Humvee where he took her to the hotel where they were staying.

There was then knocking at the room where xiao and sasuke were staying.

“what is it?!” sauke said as he answered the door

“yo.” Rod then greets him

It was early in the morning, like 3am where sasuke and xiao was reluctantly woken up.

“rod! Its you!” sasuke shouted in surprise

He then noticed a woman behind him in china dress all torn up.

“yo. I came back with a present.” Rod said while getting his helmet off with a smile

“y-y-your rod mason! I knew it!” lin lin was so very happy that she bounced and kissed his cheek

“b-but how? We really thought this would still go for a while.” Xiao then came to the door

“The plan was really simple yet dangerous, though im just glad it went well enough or else I would have been the only one to manage.” Rod said as he enters the room with lin lin

“and who might this woman be?” xiao

“shes lin li nyao, a former head of the triad in this sector.”

“w-why are you bringing her here?!” sasuke

“in exchange for all her information, I promised her freedom.”

“that’s a very irresponsible act you have done rod! But were just glad your alright.” Sasuke

Xiao and sasuke was still chocked by the events that they rattled on preparing everything they need to gather the intel. Rod then explains to lin lin that she would need to stay in china for a while and being protected by the police to get all the information out of her before she can have her freedom.
“you must stay in china until you tell everything you know to get your freedom.” Rod

“why rod? You said—“ lin lin

“yes, that is right. But to earn your freedom, you must be cleaned of all the dirt around you so that you can also live in peace.” Rod said with a serious face

Lin lin then knew what she must do and that rod was right so she just stares at the bed where she was sitting.

“where is kaori?” rod said as he was still standing

“shes in your room, sleeping.” Xiao said as they were sitting on the other bed

“hmm.. alright then, I will be on my way. Call me if you need anything.” Rod then waves at them while heading to the door

Rod then heads to his room where kaori was still sleeping. He then removed all the armor and took a shower but someone then barged into the bathroom.

“I thought that you were a goner!” kaori said as she was still in her night gown being wet in the shower hugging him

“im back.” Rod said with a smile

“you could have been killed you know that! Why didn’t you—“

“yes, I could have avoided going there. But I also have a promise I need to keep.”

“what promise?”

“that I would come back.”

Kaori couldn’t find the right words to say to him so she just hugs him tightly

“hey now, I still got to shower so that I can sleep”

“you know, when I ran back, I was really scared of what might happen to me along the way.”

Rod then pats her in the head as she cried in relief

“and when I was waiting for you in the room, I was really lonely. Though I was used to sleeping alone, it was the first time that I couldn’t sleep thinking of everything that has happened. Even with you.” She then looked up to rod

“now that I am back, are you relieved?”

She nodded

“so, what would you like to do now?”

“you just have to ask a woman that question.” She pouted

Then slowly with a deep kiss.

“now can you help me with washing myself?”

“how about we get a bath together?”

“sounds great.” They then smiled as they kissed

Then at 7am in the morning, they then went to the airport where they waited for their flight

“so this is goodbye huh. I hope we meet again someday.” Xiao

“yes, I hope so. Right rod?” sasuke

“yes, though when we will only be on vacation.” Rod

“and are you sure that you will be going with rod kaori san?” sasuke

“yes. my place now is with him” she said as she was holding his arms

“and when will I go with you rod?” lin lin

Lin lin accompanied them as she was still not handed over to the police to say her farewells

Lin lin then stares at the floor, crying and sad where rod also pats her head and smiled

At the airport of manila where rod and kaori touched down, they were being surrounded by airport police where they were taken to the malacanang.

After that, they were then taken back to his home town via helicopter where both of them were set free on the city. But as there are now soldiers in every city in north Mindanao, it was highly unlikely that rod could leave the city now.

They were now in their parents hospital room while Sheryl teaches kaori what to do during the reconstruction.

Outside the hospital where rod and june were taking a stroll at the garden.

Knowing this, kaori then faced the other way once more and blushed while Sheryl just stomped at his feet

Later that day, when rod then came with Sheryl, june and kaori to the main company which is still rebuilding itself, mitsuhiro then paid a sudden visit to his office

*knock*

“rod san! I came to visit..”

Rod was still scouring through all the papers that were left for him. “ah! Mitsuhiro san! Why the sudden visit.”

“I came for a meeting with you rod san. Can I have a bit of your time now?”

“yes, of course. “ rod then stood up and walked towards mitsuhiro

“don’t worry about them. I already have them on a leash ever since the death of matsushi.”

Sheryl, june and kaori came to report to rod only to be stopped by kaori when she saw them.

Rod and the girls then took mitsuhiro on a tour to the upper levels of the research center, observatory, construction company, and the hospital.
