Chapter 5_2

There, after a few minutes of gruesome waiting until the zombies finish eating, they then dragged the body and threw it towards the port. Then other zombies approached it and identified it first before slowly dragging the dead body towards the city center.

“all teams, report back to the origami once you have also rescued civilians from the place.” Sheryl

“rod, we were now able to gather reports from some of the victims and have formulated the history of the event.” Stacey

“tell us what happened.”

“it seems that the event happened at this port where we believe that a group of zombies where being transported via sea route when maybe at night, when they inspected the container, they accidentally unleashed the group of zombies.” Stacey

“i have also contacted the military for a list of cargo routes via sea.” Maria

“great. Lets also wait for that list while we trace where this zombie is going with its loot.” Rod

For a few hours, they have observed the zombie drag the dead victim until it dragged into the trees, to the direction of one of the hills or mountains.

“switching view to heat sensor.” flores

The monitors then switching to heat sensor where they saw the zombie emitting a hot temperature due to exposure to the sun. After a few minutes, they then got a list of the cargo routes via sea for the last 4 months.

“i just received transmission for a file from the military.”maria

“alright, send it to Sheryl where she will examine the data.” Rod

“roger”

“received the data..” Sheryl then scrolls over the list. “whew.. this will take a while.”

“take your time Sheryl. We are all right with you.” Rod

“you know, you have been in very high tension ever since the start of this mission. Im almost starting to regret—“ sheryl

“sorry about that. Im just assured of my mission now that your all here with me.” Rod

“hahh.. your now acting like a kid rod. “ flores

“what? cant i just be like this?” rod said as he scratches his head

“your the captain.” Flores

Everyone smiled but then flores got a reading from the sensors.

“what have we got here..” flores said as they now saw a horde of zombies gathering in one place

The zombie that was dragging the dead body now stopped at a group of zombies where it dropped the dead body to them. They then saw 2 zombies from the group, a male and a female, who examined the body first by touching it all over.

The readings for the group of zombies all had a shining thing on their chests while they also emit high temperatures of heat, as if they were alive.

After they have examined the body for its gender, the female zombie who was also undressed, then dropped itself on top of the dead body. It then bounced on top as if it had sex with it then after a few minutes, the dead body shaked before it started to stood up and become a zombie.

“i see now. It might have something to do with what they were doing that made the dead bodies into zombies. “ yukiko

“But i would really need a sample to make certain of the exact reason how the zombies were created.” Stacey

“and we will get you those samples. Assault team, prepare for sortie. This time, ready for a fight.”

Rod then stood from his chair and walked towards the door

“becareful there rod.” Sheryl

“yes, do becareful.. for us.” Yukiko

“yeah, i will. Sheryl, take charge while im gone” Rod said at the door

Sheryl nodded before rod got out. Rod then readies his combat titanium armor along with the assault team and flew towards the horde of zombies that stretches over a mile wide.

“this would be a lot of zombies sir.” A team member said

“yes, but lets all do our best. The plan now is to capture a male and a female in that group of zombies at the center. Any form of combat would only be used if necessary, understood?” rod

“yes sir!”

They then flew towards the group of zombies, neglecting the horde of zombies surrounding them. When they arrived right above the group of zombies, those zombies detected them and stated to jump towards them. They had to back up for a bit before they could land in front of them where they engaged in combat.

It turns out that the group of zombies were programmed with punching and kicking, though sloppy as it was and others would just fall.

“don’t give up men! Stick to the mission!” rod said as he beheaded one of the females in the group of zombies

As the others were able to also behead a male one, they then ran towards an open space while fighting off other zombies in front of them. With the help of their jetpacks, they were able to run very fast like floating while evading or fighting off other zombies. Then after a few minutes of running, they were able to find an open space where they were able to take off.

On the origami, Stacey then prepares for the operation as rod was also observing. There they found a circuit embedded just below the neck of each zombie where they also found very thin wires directly connecting to the brain.
