Chapter 4

Somewhere in the city of New York, at the guard house of some tall building, early in the morning.

“hey, you seen the news on tv?” guard 1

“nope, why?” guard 2

“there is a news right now all about this electro freak. Cant believe mutants are here—“

“nah. They aren’t real.”

“but according to this news, there is one in the Philippines.”

“nah. Probably just some stunt.”

“maybe your right”

A car then drove towards the guard house.

“who is that? Show me some ID—“ guard 1 said as he approached the black car

The black car then opened its windows to show the CEO of the corporation.

“sir! Welcome sir!” guard 1 saluted towards the CEO with guard 2 following suit

The black car then drove towards the parking lot beneath the tall building.

“bring me the head scientist! Now! And where is now my money at?!“ the CEO shouted upon his arrival in the meeting room at the building

The meeting room was filled with the board of trustees and about 4 scientists altogether where the scientists were frightened upon the CEO’s arrival.

“sir, please calm down.” The CEO’s secretary said to him after she went in after him

“how can I calm down after what I heard! And how can you fools even pretend to let me on deaf ears!”

“sir, if I may, please listen to our report on the situation as of now.” Another from the board

“hahh. Fine! Make it worth my while Bernard.” The CEO said after he seated on his chair and looked at the CEO who said last.

The board then brought their attention to the scientists who were fidgeting at the side on who might go first.

“hurry up doctor! We all got a very busy schedule ahead of us!” one of the board said

“y-yes sir.” The scientists said in unison after a few seconds of pushing each other.

“h-hi. My name is Dr. Gracie Jones from the science department. I would—“

“would you make it quick!? My day isn’t as bad as it already is! We must not let our client’s trust go to the toilet on this!” he said very angrily

“y-yes sir. If I may proceed.” The doctor then goes to the screen at the opposite side of the CEO. “sir, please don’t be alarmed from what you are about to know from the next few—“

“just get on with it!” CEO

“Yes sir.” Dr gracie then put in a USB on the computer which will show a power point of her presentation. “Ehem.. as our clients have requested, we have now gone through with project ‘supers’, as they named the project. We have now some results from our experiments, but you will not like it.”

“show me.” CEO

"Ok then." Gracie said after a click and then gave a short explanation on the common knowledge about the brain and genetic alterations. "In this project, just like in rod masons case on his first contact, we hope to establish a telepathic contact with one another with ourselves and maybe even other life forns. In the video." The previous encounter with rod and the aliens, he claimed to display contact with them and thus, the aliens changed somewhat in their behavior and changed some parts of their own body to adapt to the present environment and finally lost their phsycic connection."

"In the past, there were even radicals who claim that only his bloodline can access this, because he was an octaviano. A proud race of warriors and maybe mystics, as the old ones claimed as well." Scientist 2 said

"Yes. But their efforts were all for naught as he and his family went in hiding, spacially rod whom he and his family went to neptune and destroyed all relay ships so that no military can ever reach them." Gracie

"Enough of history. Go directly to the point." CEO

"Alright then." She then go to the next clip. "So far, our research also proved to naught as most of the subjects all died."

"Didnt we also put on a contract which our client provided 1 subject which was related to rod?" Another board said

"Yes. But unfortunately, it blew up with what our client calls it a 'quantum blast'."

"How do you know this is certain?" A board said

"Because the one whom our client gave is the one who provided the information."

"What?!" The board and CEO said.

"But.. how?! Didnt he also blew up in the explosion? And our research facility that he is in is in outerspace!" CEO

"Yes. Its really weird but its true." Scientist 3

"Whats his status before and right now?" One of the board

"Our client said that he was in a coma when they found him on the wreckage of the facility. But when he woke up, he didnt display anything at all. But according to the Philippine government, he was discovered to be displaying some sort of power." Gracie

"That is fascinating! Please do tell us more about his powers and everything there is to know about him." CEO said with an evil smile.

At the malacanang, where jason, the governments of the world, and his family was discussing and about to listen to Jason after a brief explanation of what has already happened and records of it. His whole family was suddenly summoned at the malacanang 3 days after the previous incidents. His sister was still studying at that time when all of them were being called, all four of them.

"Its been a while there jason, how are you feeling today?" American president

"Just fine sir. Just relieved from my duties and is now free."

"Good. Cause we all have questions for you. Do prepare yourself boy."

"Yes mr president."

"Please do be careful of what you say son." His father raised concern over him

"No worries. I can handle this."

"Sir, they are all now online and ready." The operator said

"Good. Lets all now be ready." Tuba

After they all exchange greetings and introductions, the other governments were questioning now why they were all called as they already know about their situation.

"Hold on. I know you all wonder why your all being called for, but please bear with me as we will now discuss on what the reaper knows. Or what jason wild has to say." Richard

There were some murmurs for a few seconds before it finally went quiet with hushing each other up.

"As you can see, i am still a human, even though my brain has now evolved."

"How much of it has now evolved? And why only you?" A president said

"In terms of brain capacity, i might be able to access about 90 percent at will, though i normally just use about the normal of maybe 15%, as im holding back on everything. And as for your question on why only me, there are 2 reasons for it. One is that i was a guinie pig for a lab experiment."

"What?!"

"Yes. I may assure you of that." At the back of the US president was a soldier named Chris, jasons childhood friend. "Ever since he was found on that wreckage up in outer space, we did many tests on him to see if he was alright but so far, nothing was out of the normal. We--"

"Let me finish now Chris. We only have a short time frame before something else starts." Jason

"What?! What will start?!" Some people said including his family.

He then calmed his family down and to trust him as the richard was also doing the same.

"Tell us boy, what is this predicament your talking about?" A president said

"The first reason that i was chosen is because i was a volunteer, or thought that i was doing it for the good of the people or of the world, instead i was a guinie pig for an experiment to link minds. The second reason that i was chosen was for the gods to deliver to you guys a warning and to protect both worlds."

"What?! What are you saying sudden--" a president said

Jason then displayed his right hand which produced electricity all over, to show and silence the governments.

"If you wont believe me, which you eventually will, then it would be too late before you even know it."

"J-just what are you implying boy?" A member of a government said

"A prophecy of doom. Not displayed on the bible, not anymore, as our curiousity and thirst for power shall now drown us with the ultimate destruction."

"Rubbish! Your saying that only you can save humanity?" The queen said

"Nope. Not only me, since i will need help for this."

"How can we help jason?" Tuba

"I can seek help on my own sir. But the only reason that i want everybody to hear me now is for the prophecy and to warn you guys of a 3rd party. Their thoughts are evil and yet they dont even know what will happen if they will do something."

"Do something to what jason?" His dad said

"To the quantum."

There were murmurs all over as they all try to deny his claims. Scientists and government alike denied what jason said. After a few minutes of jason being quiet, richard tried to silence them.

"Anyways, what do you mean boy? That not to mess with the quantum?" Richard

"As i have said mr president. As science is now almost at its limits, they are now trying to probe into the very essence of life itself and with the quantum realm. Its good and all to theorize and stuff, but to probe into it and control it would disrupt or maybe even destroy the very fabric of our reality and many more as we know it."

There were murmurs again as the governments take to their scientists if he knows what he is speaking and confirmed it.

"But i dont think that--" US president

"Nope. Your government is also experimenting on a mind control device im afraid." Jason

The people were shocked as they now all look at the US for answers.

"We deny such a thing! Also, if your claim was real, it would be classified top secret and only for US military only!" The secretary of defence said angrily

"I will leave it at that, though let me say that by doing so, you will risk humanity in the brink of destruction along with all the universe. And if you can also hear me those who are hiding in the dark, you shall fear and heed my words. If the prophecy shall come to pass, even i cant help humanity anymore."

There were then murmurs and major unrest amongst all governments by jasons words that even richard wasnt even able to calm them down. Others threatened about a war and others just still deny his puny words. After seeing the sight of them fighting, jason then goes to the door.

"Where are you going sir? I suggest you stay." Guard 1

"Please let me pass. I have nothing else to say to them." Jason said before facing to his family who rushed towards him. "Come, let us now go home."

"What do u mean son? We cant go anywhere. With you as it is, we cant even go anywhere." His mom said

"Little sis will protect you mom and dad." Jason said as he touched his sisters shoulder.

Then in an instant, she felt her brain on fire and almost like moving. Jason then untouched her before she kneeled to bear the pain. She was about to scream but in a second, she didnt feel pain anymore as she now feels different. And during that time luckily, there wasnt anyone looking except the guards and maybe some people who wondered what is going on with jason.

"What was that?!" She said as she punched him on the arm

When she punched him, her anger turned into electricty which he then caught with his right hand.

"I have bestowed upon her the power to control the weather. This way, she can protect you guys from any harm. Enjoy learning that power." Jason said with a smile

"Ya, you really have changed."

"Really? Im still me though"

"What was that?!" the guards said as they point therir guns at them

"Its better if you guys dont know. If you will now excuse us." He said as he walked away and into the malacanang building where they are now looking for chairs to sit on.

"Why only her?" His dad asked.

"Because its better if a young one shall weild such power. Also, so that you guys can guide her to use her powers wisely."

"What about you ya?"

"Dont worry about me jackie. I was already taught by the gods on how to weild my powers. So its now up to you if you shall go back home. I have still got some business to do with them."

"Your going back there?" His mom

"Yes mom. And dont worry about jackie, i just activated her x gene and rewrote some of her genetic code."

"You could do that ya? Are you thinking of making super soldiers for them?"

"If you guys are safe, then no. If you will excuse me, i will get to the president to ask for some a ride and permission for their secret files."

Back at the coms room, richard is still arguing with the other presidents along with tuba, helping him calm the situation down before jason came to the room again.

"If you will excuse me sirs, i have something to ask." Jason said after he got the empty mic

"What?!" Some said while some were arguing

"Can i ask some of your secret files?"

"What?!" All of them said "what now?!"

"Just gonna help some people in need, thats all. I just need permission to access files related to almost or impossible cases which doctors have difficulty. Also files related to people with special abilities of some sort, i will need to convince them and teach them the wisdom of the ages." He said with a smile

There at the desert sands of the Middle East, a helicopter was flying towards Iraq.

“it’s a pleasure to meet you mr Jason. Or also known as the reaper in the Philippines. I heard about your reputation there. Is it true that you have powers?” a soldier

“Yes. Though I wouldn’t like to use it always since it sometimes wears out my brain.” jason

“I see. But how come your coming here? Don’t you still have business in the Philippines?” soldier 2

“yes. But my mission takes priority over other things. Also, they all agreed to do this fairly so I decided to have everyone play roulette, and whoever wins shall be the first country I shall visit and help.”

“who are they?” soldier 2

“the world leaders of every country.”

“whoa. No comment on that.” Soldier 1

“yeah. It was a real pain just to keep them in line and calm them down. So I decided to earn my worth.”

“that’s good.” Soldier 3

“so when they rolled the roulette and it landed on Iraq, some of them looked frustrated while some just doesn’t care. Anyways, its now up to them if they will believe me or not. Since this time, the only action they can take is to believe in me.”

“pardon me but why are you sounding like your so special?” soldier 1

“im not. Im just stating facts. Since I was sent here by the gods after all.”

They all laughed as they heard about it except his own body guard.

“enough about this. Are we there yet?”

“we are almost there. We are now in the city.” Driver said while holding off his own laughter

“alright then. And just like I said people, it would depend on you if you would believe me or not.”

“alright.” The soldiers said and agreed before they went quiet again

“we’re here.” Said the driver

At some distance below the helicopter was the president of Iraq, waiting for the helicopter to land.

“hello there mr Jason! Welcome to Iraq.”

“yes, thank you for inviting me mr president Abdul.”

“the pleasure is all mine.”

They then did a short briefing and some introductory to some officials where he was then taken to a room for a short briefing of his mission, to end the wars of the middle east.

“May I ask that you use your powers to end all the wars of the middle east? It would be convenient for me if you could.” Abdul

“nope. That wont even solve anything just yet. We need a plan of action mr president.”

“alright then. I believe that your plan of action might be to avoid conflict as much as possible.”

“there is that, though conflict cant be avoided in this mission. Your mission now is to locate all the enemy bases and I will just walk right through it.”

“with your powers, it might be possible. But why just walk when you can take—“

“there is that option, but I wont. I will just set a magnetic field around me, bouncing back any bullet towards me. While I also do an EMP burst to disrupt their comms.”

“you can do that?!” a general asked

“yes. And your soldiers will just go inside and take care of the rest of the armed men. “

“Why cant you just take care of that yourself? Don’t you have the power for that?” an official asked

“Nope. Not yet anyways.”

“what do you mean?”

“the world will find out soon enough. In any case, I should hurry up before they produce more soldiers and rescue hostages along the way.”

The meeting ended after a few minutes later where Jason just answered a few more simple questions. After a few minutes of waiting in the conference room after the meeting, he then received the Intel he was looking for and the list of his team. There, he then stood up and gone towards the team so that he can start his first mission.

There in the desert, almost near a small town, they then rode a Humvee with a team armed and ready to fight.

“are you sure that a Filipino is up for war against terrorism? I mean, hes just 25 on his file and with his body guard which is also a Filipino.” Soldier 1

“what are you talking about?” Jasons Body guard said

“With all due respect miss jane, we think of such since no Filipino has ever set foot to war in these parts.” Soldier 2

“yes, I believe your right about that. Though if I would tell you guys about it, you would just laugh at me.”

“believe him, he has already told someone yet they just laughed it off.” Jane

“I see. Though in these parts, almost any story is believable.” Soldier 1

“alright then.” Jason said before he told his own story to pass by the time in getting to the

“wow, that’s just some story you got there. I cant believe your part of an experiment that has gone awry.” Soldier 3

“yes. But right now, my top priority now is to rescue hostages and kill the boss.” Jason said before they arrived

“alright. Were now here. Lets see if your up to the task and what you said.” Soldier 1

They arrived at the town where they were presented with armed men, walking towards their Humvee. Without them getting the chance to view whats inside the Humvee, Jason then climbed up the Humvee from the easy to open roof after he put on his mask, where he deployed his electromagnetic and jamming shield. The armed men were persistent, in their language, to identify them. After a few seconds, Jason gave the go signal where they ran over the armed men and rush towards outside their hideout. There jason went inside without any fuss as they silently kill the guards by the door after they were all in position, where jason just walked into the front door. But as jason was also disguised with rags, a turban he got from one of the dead guards, some cloth on his mouth and some light military clothes inside, the ones inside didnt even notice him go around at all as he blended in with the crowd. The house was like a normal house poor mans house, only that there was a hole right at the center of the floor. There, jason pulled out his gun with a silencer and shot the remaining guards inside, after he activated his shields. It was then that they had a small window of opportunity to sneak into the house undetected got inside the hole after jason went in first. At the bottom of the hole, there was a hallway lit with some light bulbs at the side, fit enough for 2 men in the hallway. There, he proceeded after the whole team was in formation and examined the rooms one by one where they silently killed terrorists, some resting while some doing some dirty jobs like rape, eating food, and many other things. After a few seconds, the others in other rooms noticed or felt something wrong and slowly got out of their rooms where they were silently shot one by one by jason leading up front. But as they were gaining strength in numbers, they opened fire upon jason where he just walked towards them with his shields while the rest of his team took cover by the other rooms. Jason just walked towards the other terrorists with his shields up where others try to contact the outside to no avail, until jason was able to go about a meter on front of them before he threw a grenade at them. As bullets were flying towards the walls and ceiling from their encounter and the blast put a mark on the floor where many of the terrorists died and many others wounded, jason then put out his gun and shot others dead. There at the other rooms, his team continued slowly to kill others on site before they all reached the control and the rooms where the hostages were taken.

In the rooms where the hostages were at.

"Its safe now. Were here to save you." Jane said as she got close to the hostages and cut their bonds

"Thank you!"

"Now get outside and wait for us there. Dont just go without us or we will leave you guys." Jane said as she continued to work with the other hostages

While on the control room.

"This is a miracle!" Soldier 2

"Yeah. No one got hurt from this mission." Soldier 3

"Guys. You better hurry with copying data or just get their hard drives from their computers before their back up arrives" jason said peeking at the door

"Yes sir. Though we have you on our side, this mission will be a breeze." Soldier 2 said as soldier 1 was getting the hard drives from the computers

"Hes right! Hurry up! Get as many routers as you can! I will deal with the hard drives!" Soldier 1

They then went around the room getting all the important stuff before they all retreated safely and called in helicopters for the rescue. After some time of waiting for the choppers, they finally arrived but to only be shot down by anti air missiles. The local people even went in hiding at their homes as they saw and heard the blast.

"Men! Get ready! And how they arrive too fast jason??!" Soldier 1

"Damn it. It might be when i put down all my shields after they all were down. They must have noticed it."

"Damn it! One wrong--" soldier 1 said pointing his finger

"I know! But i also gotta rest for some time. Im still human you know."

"Whatever! Get ready to shoot! Hope you know how to shoot." Soldier 1 said handing over a gun

"Thanks. Though i will only use my shields for this. Get ready to call in another one, i will deal with the missiles."

"What?! There are no heroes here! I wont be able to get cover fire for you in time."

"No need. Just get to me when your all done loading all the hostages to the choppers, with the humvee. I might need an escape as well."

"Sure thing, but you gonna be alright there by yourself?"

"Yes. Just have your sniper watch over me if you want."

"Ok then. Good luck soldier." Soldier 1 said with a salute

They then parted ways where jason, with his mask still in his face with his glowing eyes, ran towards the enemy lines. When he got near enough, he deployed his electromagnetic and his jammic shields again where after some deep breaths, he walked towards the enemy lines. They all fired at him to no avail, only to have their bullets orbit around jason as he walks. And when he got close enough, jason pulled out his 2 guns and shoots those who he could shoot near enough. There, they pulled out a grenade launcher and shot jason to yet again orbit around him. He then magnetized all the bulletsin mid air and threw it to the rocket launcher when he saw it. The rocket launcher exploded after the bullets hit it, where the terrorists all fired all their weapons at jason to yet again orbit him. Until they ran out of ammo, jason was orbited by so many bullets that he eventually sped up the orbitting and launched them in all directions, some hit the targets and some didnt. From seeing that they cant do anything to him, the remaining survivors switched to hand to hand combat where they slowly rush towards jason with their knives, though he just shot them with his own guns. After some time fighting, they all retreated.

"Whoa. Now thats what i call putting your powers to good use. Sir, hes done with all of them." The sniper, who was just sleeping on the humvee finally said his words

But then a suprise guest was about to launch to jason at his back where the sniper noticed it and shot the terrorist.

"Thanks." Jason said in response to his surprise

"Come here now soldier and lets wrap this up. The hostages are almost finished loading here." Soldier 1 said over the comms after jason put down his jamming shield.

"Ok. Shall we also use the choppers or still go on land?" Jason said when he ran back

"Whats the status on any terrorist activity men?" Soldier 1

"All green. No sign of terrorists." They all said one by one when they scanned the area at the rooftops of houses.

"Good. Lets all head home via chopper then. Get here real quick guys!" Soldier 1

"Yes sir!" All of them said before they packed up and moved out of the place.

They all then flew on the chopper where jason finally unmasks himself with relief.

"Whew. That was a bit tough." Jason

"This mission would have been a total failure if it werent--"

"Please call me reaper in here. Cant have my name just spread like that though."

"Alright ja-- i mean reaper." Jane

"Thank you very much reaper! Thank you! Is that really your true name though? We would like to hear from our savior." A hostage said

"Just call me reaper and you may spread my name."

"Wouldnt that endanger your family in a way reaper?" Jane

"Yes. But i got a talented family and the protection of the government with me. If something goes wrong, i will personally rush to them. Dont worry."

"We worry you know. Though if you say so, then alright." Jane

"Still, dude. Why do you have a sword with you throughout the mission if your just not gonna use it?" Sniper

"Ah. This is reserved for an even more dangerous mission in the future."

"I dont even know whats more dangerous in this mission, you or them." Soldier 2

"Nope. This mission may be dangerous, but there are even more dangerous things about to gappen in the near future. Believe me."

With that, they all went quiet as they appreciated his help and through the long journey back. Jason and his team were invited for dinner at the royal palace.

"Good! You have dressed well for the occasion mr jason!" Abdul said after jason went into the room with jane by his side, as he is already seated at the other end of the long table

"Yes. Thank you for inviting us after the long journey." Jason said as he and jane went towards a chair and he helped her sit

After some time telling his story with the president, as well as with the journey, the president seriously had many questions for jason but he refused.

"Nope. My true mission will come to light soon. Though for any questions, its really answerabke with common sense. And note that you cant make more of me with any gene altering method present. I will just keep quiet on how to make more of me as it would tgreaten not only the balance of the world powers, but also threatens the universe." Jason said as he avoids the topic with telling some of the truth

After some time of pushing, the president didnt bother anymore and went for dinner. The next few days were still exhaustingly the same, stopping terrorists, bringing valuable intel back, and saving hotages along the way. After a weeks worth of missions, he was then free for one day to venture out which he requested to take a tour at egypt.

"Hello mom. Im currently in egypt now enjoying some sort of paid leave." Jason said in a taxi as he is headed towards the cairo museum.

"Hope your alright there son. Please do stay safe and always get out of harm." His mom said over the phone

"Yes mom. Im now trying my best to help the governments with their dirty work."

"You do that. How are things there in egypt?"

"Just fine mom. Now heading to a museum as my first stop for my vacation. How is jackie? "

"Shes doing fine son. Your dad is currently training her with her powers now."

"Oh. I see. Tell her to have fun with her new powers, as your gonna need all the help you need."

"Were now being protected by the government as per your contract with them, as well as with your sister having these powers. What more--"

"You will see. I have the ability to randomly see images sent by the gods for any prophecy they might give, though its only one way and random, cant control it in any ways."

"Its alright son. The main thing is that your alright. Bye then, im gonna prepare some foods for them right now."

"Alright. Please tell dad to teach her all the wisdom she might need. Without it, our powers are nothing but a mere weapon for a child to wield."

"Ok son. I will tell them what we talked about today."

"And mom, tell her that the secret to control is to know what your feeling right now, not just to calm down and wish to control it. Be one with oneself."

"That is quite the advice. Why wait until now to tell it and why--"

"There wasnt enough time mom. Time is not something i have right now. Which is why i chose egypt as vacation spot because its the nearest."

"Alright son. I respect your decision. I will tell them this."

"Alright mom. Bye. Im here now at the museum." Jason said after they arrived at the museum

"Ok son. Bye for now."

They then hang up and as jason got into the entrance of the museum. Jason was enjoying the sights and history of egypt at the museum where he saw the mummies and stuff. When he got to the mummy section, he saw the spirits of mummies bowing towards him in respect where he had no choice but to stop and bow back, which he later drew attention to some people.

“hey. Stop that. Your embarrasing me.” jane

“nope. Im paying respects to these great kings of past.”

“are you joking? Or as if you could see their ghosts?” jane said with a spine chill on her back

“yes. Im just bowing to them, is there anything wrong?”

“anyways, lets get the hell out of here, your giving me the chills.” jane said as she pulled him out of the section

They then went to the section of kings treasures of the past. But there, he was presented with a soul where he was being warned to go down, thus he suddenly stopped and as if looking at some jewelry.

“what are you saying? And might it be wise if I should be ignorant about it?” jason said while facing the glass where the ghost was standing.

The ghost gestured that it was alright to bestow upon him, the knowledge where he should protect. There, jason slightly bowed on the ghost and faced jane where she was as if angry with him.

“hahh. You can see them right? What is it now?” she said cross armed

“they want to bestow upon me ancient knowledge. And I need to talk to the director of this museum.”

“that is gonna be tough, but I will make a schedule and some demands with president richard.”

“alright then. Please do it now.”

After a few hours of waiting on the same section of the museum, he was being visited by the director of the museum.

“hello there my friends, I am ahmed ramdul, what can I do for you?” he said with a smile

“hello mr ahmed, can I visit your real treasury? Its really urgent.”

“And who might you be? You would need special permissions to enter there.”

“please let us pass. Hes really giving me the creeps.” jane

“that is not enough reason. And please, if you would need assistance from me, appoint a schedule with me next time. Your glad that im not that very busy today.”

“yes, we arent either. Though it would be wise to let me pass, or else the ghosts will rampage and cause a ruckus on the museum.”

“hah! Like I would believe you!”

“its your choice.” jason said before he turned to the ghosts at the side. “do it.”

“what do you--”

In a flash, the weather in the museum grew dark and lightning stuck the museum causing the glass on the ceiling on a separate section to break, winds grew very strong that it blew the windows open and broke some glass, and rain suddenly came pouring down. All of this was happening and jason didn’t move an inch.

“alright! Fine! You just need access to the treasury right? Please make it stop.” ahmed said begging to him where all the guests were very frightened by what happened

“guys, that was overkill. but you can stop now.” jason said to the right side where they saw no one was there.

Suddenly, the weather became clear. It was after then that the director directed them to the back of the museum where he unlocked the door with a combination, and went down the stairs, also frightened by what happened.

“you know, your the second in the history of this museum to ever summon those things. My father talked about something like this once. At first I didn’t believe it but now, im regretting to ever be director of this museum.” ahmed murmured while he was walking down the stairs

“dont be, they really like to make a grand entrance which is why they insisted. You were being contacted by the president of the Philippines himself right?”

“yes. But I didn’t expect this to happen. Damn it!” ahmed said as he cursed his day

“believe me, I know what your feeling. This was supposed to be my vacation day but these guys insisted.”

“dont tell me, they followed us?” jane said wide eyed

“what? You afraid?” jason said teasingly

“of course! I cant even kill them or touch them, how could I ever not be frightened by them!” jane said angrily

“forgive me. Haha. Anyways, are we there yet?” jason said as they were now entering another secured room downstairs.

“we are here. Though we would like to tell you guys to keep all this a secret, what you are going to see might bewilder you.”

“i wont. But she will.” jason said teasingly again

Jane pouting now, the director sighed as he opened the door before they entered the room. There, they stored levels of precious stuff and more ancient stuff, where jason suddenly walked ahead of them following the ghosts to a certain jewelry-- a scarab ring.

“yes I can definitely sense some power faintly surging inside it. Do you guys really want me to have it?” jason said before the ghosts nodded

“what is your interest with this scarab ring?” ahmed

“this ring holds unfortold power it seems.”

“what?! how did that get here? We all thought it was an ordinary ring!” ahmed was now surprised, now believing everything that he says, right after all that has happened.

“its an ordinary ring for now, though the use of this is to amplify any kind of power, specially the scarab. Though im telling you all this, please never tell any soul.” jason said as ahmed nodded

“now what are you going to do with this?” jane asked

“i believe that I might hand it over to the american government, for safe keeping, also warning them of the dangers that comes when anyone shall get a hold of this.”

“great. Another thing to worry about. Amplify yours?” jane said

“dont worry. The only ones who will know about this would be the great powers, and the Philippines. And please don’t just tell anyone about me.”

“hope you know what your doing.” ahmed said with a very worried look almost about to cry

“dont worry, really. I will handle things if it comes to worst.”

“alright then. Im handing this treasure over to you for free, but please handle with care. And never go here again.”

“well, your gonna lose customers if you do that. Are you sure?”

“fine! Come as you may. But never contact me again. I have had my fair share of weird for one day.” ahmed

“alright then. I will see what I can do. Though I might need this transported immediately to the american military or government, I cant touch it as it might cause me to suddenly power up.”

“ok. Let me arrange the transport for you--”

“after we talk with the governments about the situation. Please wait for word.” jane

“but--”

“no buts. Just do it.”

“fine.”

After an agreement was made, the 3 of them gone back upstairs to continue with their tour on the museum while jane called president richard again explaining the situation and jasons decision.

“glad to have you jason, though I hope you know what your doing. Said the president.” jane said while holding the phone

“yes, I know. Its the only wisest thing to do as of now, though please warn the american government to becareful of any moles in their military. They might do something with the ring.”

“ok. Thats all you have to say?”

“yes.”

With that, she finished the call in a matter of minutes where they then continued their tour. After that, they went to the second and last place on their vacation, to the pyramids. After hours of travel, they finally arrived at the pyramids where they enjoyed a good time together.

“are you sure we wont take a picture together?” jason said teasingly

“no! Im still mad at what you did back there. And let us just be professional here.”

“why? There is no reason for us to be unpro--”

“listen here. Im not particularly interested at you or anything, just that. The only thing that binds me to you is my job, please do remember that.”

“cold. But alright, I wont force you. But since its our vacation together, I thought that it would be alright.” jason said with a sad face

“please don’t make that face. Hahh. Alright then. Just one. Where do you want us to take it?”

“yey! How about with the pyramids at the background?”

“alright. Lets take a picture and get out of here, the sun is really getting seriously hot.”

“alright then. Lets go. Though I have you know that the present temperatures are exactly what humankind deserve right now.”

“why you say that?”

“because of our own discipline. People talk about saving earth yet we as a whole race will only work together once a predicament has risen. Quite problematic isnt it?”

“true. But I believe that everything will be alright even still, I mean that we have already reached outer space right? We are now beginning to colonize our own solar system and even communicated with our first alien specie.”

“yes. But all would have also been naught if it werent for the efforts of rod mason and many other heroes during the space revolution.” jason said as they near the picture spot

“i know. i believe that what happened to him is ready tragic.”

“i have talked with him on the other side one time, and told me his whole story. It was tragic alright, but due to human ignorance.”

“what do you mean? isnt what history tells about him true?”

“half of it. Of course they don’t want the next generation knowing about any faults from the past, which is why they covered up some of the confidential stuff. Stop we are here.” jason said as he stopped to take the picture

“please tell me. Im now curious what happened. He is my hero too you know.”

“alright. But maybe later, lets take the promised picture.” jason said with a smile

After they took the picture with his phone, which was still a smart phone with some advance functions, they then continued with their trip with him telling her the story of rod mason.

after a few days, after the philippine government made the announcement about the scarab ring to be handed over to the american government and when jason was still in africa by that time to deal with african poachers and drug lords, another entity was on the move at the dark.

"Doctor, how is she?" The CEO said while looking at something on the other side of the glass and after he entered into the room

"Shes just fine and stable, though her bodys auto response system is blocking us from ever doing our work." Dr gracie

"Give me a status report."

"Everytime we let her feel pain or try to operate her brain, her auto response would kick in causing the surrounding environment to experience some sort of natural phenomenon." She said but as the CEO was a bit confused, she added. "Like when we try to operate on her brain, the whole room would experience simultaneously some weather patterns or something. From extreme heat, to extreme cold. Then clouds will brew inside the room and cause lightning storms causing any personel or sophisticated equipment to be destroyed. The only ever closest we got samples of her is her own blood."

"Then how about you guys just hypnotize her or something when shes awake?"

"We already tried to forcefully hypnotize her but we cant. Still the same thing would occur. And if we tried to wake her up, she would know that shes been kidnapped and cause some mayhem to the facility."

"Your right. What should we do? We are running out of time here."

"Sir, the package has just arrived." His body guard said after suddenly picking up a transmission

"Good. And you good doctor should hurry up. Or else."

"I know. We will hurry up as fast as we can."

With that, the CEO left the room where dr gracie now looked at jackie at the operating table, unaffected by everything aeound her except for a couple of skin bruises. Then the CEO hurried to walk towards another room at another floor where the package has just arrived, the scarab ring.

"Dad, whats up? You sound lik in a hurry or something."

"Son, listen to me now and quick. Dont ever panic."

"What? Im a little busy here at the home of some drug lord and in a firefight. Since i cant use the phone when my jamming shield is on, i had to retreat for now. Please begin with the good news dad."

"Alright then. Good news, we have already contacted the government about everything thats happening. The bad news is that they still havent been able to locate her."

"Who do you mean dad?"

"jackie. Shes been kidnapped. It was all too sudden yesterday, but your mom insisited on contacting you even though your very busy right now. Though i agreed and let the government know before contacting you."

Jason listened calmly as anger is rising up. "Good call. I would have done the same thing too. Now its my turn to find her before its too late."

"But what--"his dad said before jason hung up the phone.

"Jane, you guys better hold on to something fast. Cause im finishing all this right now." Jason said as he got out of hiding and deployed his shields again.

As jason was walking towards the armed men firing at him which has all gone towards his electromagnetic shield as always, they all felt a rumble upon the ground as jane and his team was holding on to the nearest hard thing connected to the floor. Then jason let out a very powerful electromagnetic shock all over the house, magnetizing everything and disabling all electronics over a hundred meters away. After the armed men all felt the blast which also blew them away, jason then pulled out his sword and sent a slash with a blast of a million volt electricity which made it to the other side of the hallway and into the room where it literally slashed the door open.

"I will leave the rest to you guys." Jason said as he ran back towards the entrance door of the house where jane and the team all were still about to stand up.

"Gods, if you can hear me, i still need her. Both as the leader and a brother, the plan is far from over." Jason shouted out

Then in response to his plea, he was shown a 3D image of where she is being held, without revealing her current state. As it always would be a rush to have those images or divinations, jason took deep breaths first before he ran towards the center of the open road and stood there for a second before he leveled up his electromagnetic shield so that he could fly. With his mask on the whole time, as he was now floating in mid air, he then flew towards the facility where she was being held.

After a few hours later, they still couldnt make a dent at her, they now just decided to have her an anesthetic so that they can operate on her body. But before they could do it, the CEO went down to her room suddenly and put on an operating gown.

"She is really a magnificent creature. If only you werent a filipino." He said while wearing the scarab ring at his finger

"Sir, what are you doing now?" Gracie said over the other side of the glass

"Did you know that in the past, the ancient aztecs cut out hearts of enemies and some other people as sacrifices for the gods. But little did other know that the shamans also drank their blood to gain even more power."

"What are you getting in all this? And what are you doing there actually?"

"Me? Your asking me? On what i have to do with her?"

"Of course!--"

"I am about to become a god woman! Now tell me your decision with her!"

"Your crazy."

"No. You are. The moment you guys started all this just so in the name of science!"

"Whatever! Please get out so that we can operate on her! Just as you planned it!"

"No. Lets continue as is. Give her the anesthetic right now so that i can be a god!"

After a few seconds of hesitation, the CEO hurried the scientists to give the anesthetic and gave it to her. Then after a few minutes of waiting, he then got a scalpel and slowly touching it on her skin so that he could cut her skin and get her blood with an evil smile. But as the scalpel was about to reach the skin, there was an earthquake around the facility where they were shocked, and went outside to escape.

"Where are you going?! Come back here!" CEO

"Sorry sir. But this is our chance to get out." Gracie said as she also had gone out

"Damn it! Come back here!" The CEO said while the others all gone out of the other room. "Fine! I will do this myself!"

But when he was about to come back, he heard a slash at the ceiling and felt the ground drop. He then felt the ground literally drop where he was falling towards the ground and when the ground hit a solid surface, he also fell to the ground hard. But when he was about to feel pain, he then saw the reaper flying overhead. It was the reaper, whom have magnetically lifted all of the facility from the waters near new york. When jason was about to put down the rest of the whole facility, he felt some kind of force trying to control him. He then located the source of the signal in a few minutes and destroyed the disk from one satelite.

"So.. your here jason.." he said as he was in pain

"So you know my name. Good. You know why im here." Jason said as he floats towards jackie to get her

"I will have you know, i made you! You thing!"

"No. Im the reaper. And im here to reap you."

"So, what are you waiting for? Nows your chance." The CEO said while leaning his back towards the wall

"Soon, you will drown along with the whole facility. That is my justice to you." Jason said as he lifted jackie

"What?! Curse you!"

"Give me the ring, if you want to live."

"Never!"

"I overheard your whole conversation. You can also get all od us out right?" Gracie said as she suddenly barged into the room

"Yes. All of you to prison."

"Curse you son of a b****! I wont ever--"

"Give it to him right now! Or i will rip it out of you! Give it to me right now billy craw!" Gracie

"Hah! Try me!"

She then searched the room for anything and found the scalpel lying on the floor right next to her, picked it up, and went to him in a tug of war over the ring. After a few seconds of the fight, she swung the scalpel to his right eye where he was able to loosen up his own hands and finally got the ring off.

“good. Now give it to me.” jason said walking towards her

“you better do your end of the deal!” she said as she walked away from the guys writhing in pain

“yes, I will.”

With that, she slowly gave to jason the ring, and he then floats with her up in the sky where he lifted the whole level up from the water again and flies towards the harbors of new york. As he landed the whole level into the harbor, many spectators were then able to view him from above and took pictures and videos.

“please do note doctor, that no matter how much you try to clone a human or just get their blood, yo will not produce a super soldier just like that. You would need 3 elements, a willing subject, mind link device, and the gods approval. This way, you will not even be able to produce your dream of a super soldier.”

“what?! you need their permission for that?!”

“yes. Of course, since it would also determine the fate of the universe and not just with our own planet.”

“this sucks.” gracie said as she and the other scientists who were there all bended to their knees in defeat.

“you all better go to jail for this! I will count on it. As this is going viral.” jason said before he flies into the sky with jackie.

There at the skies, as he was heading towards Philippines, jackie finally woke up.

“wh-what happened ya? I think I was..”

“say no more sister, im still healing your wounds as well, though only you can heal the wounds in your heart and mind.

“seriously? Whats--”

“please don’t look down.”

“what..” she said as she looked a bit down where she was then very surprised and hung tightly to jason.

“whoa! Where are we? And how--”

“dont worry sister, your safe right now.”

“say, how are we flying?”

“as part of my powers of lightning, I can control electromagnetism. Which in turn, created my own gravity.”

“seriously? You have to teach me that!” jackie said with excitement not knowing of the dangers she was in

“you can also do this you know. Its in our blood.”

“what? Seriously?”

“yes.”

“then teach me how.”

“but first, let me tell you what really happened while you were out.”

“while I was out? The last thing I remembered was that I was.. ugh..” she said with some pain in her own head

“whoa.. please take it easy I say. Let me tell you the whole story.”

As she nodded, he started telling her everything he knew of what happened to her when he received word of her kidnapping.
