Chapter 3

With fear, courage, and determination around the team, the team went forward towards the unknown that is waiting just for them on the other side of the gate. after they passed the gate, the whole team was on high alert for anything to happen.

“guys, please becareful.” jason said on the comms

“yes sir.” all of them agreed while they walked towards the center of the room.

The room itself was also like an arena when they saw it up close, where there were also weapons on the walls.

“analysis report.” jason

“atmosphere clear, we can breath here.” anna said after she brought out the air analyzer from her backpack

“jason wild! You took too long to arrive here!” a voice vibrated throughout the room

They then saw at the distance, reptilians going out from the gates of the arena. But as the reptilians got out of the gates, they were also in for a surprise.

“what?!” max

“they even had the world leaders in custody? Why?” gerald said as they saw the world leaders in pods

“i also see jeremy! And hes with them, that snake!" Max said cursing

"So this is maybe what they said that they are counting on us on this." Alexa

"Welcome everyone! Specially jason wild! To our negotiations!" Jeremy

"What are you doing there jeremy? Depending on your answer, i might annhialate you along with the reptilians." Jason said clenching his fist

"Oh, scary. But if you do, you wont be able to have the world leaders released." Jeremy said with a smile

"Why are you doing this?" Alexa

"I have come as the speaker for the bug aliens, nothing more, nothing less. As for the reptilians, they insisted they dont need to talk, but they only need to battle to understand." Jeremy

"I see. So a battle is inevitable." Jason said as he also released a bit of lightning

"Whoa there! Its not you who will battle them, its the rest of you who will." Jeremy

"What?!" The others said

"This is a negotiation right?! So why are you making us fight?!" Erwin

"Unfortunately, its the only means of communication with these reptilians. Anyways, who will be first?" Jeremy said as a reptilian walked forward

As the reptilian stopped at the middle of them, it also gave a roar. The reptilian was also carrying some sort of bloody battle axe and a sword.

"And note that these are some of the chiefs of the reptilians as said by the bug aliens." Jeremy

"Can you tell us why they only fight?" Jason

"Its maybe their culture, though they had respected a specie once after a fight, but it ended badly thanks to that specie not respecting their culture by eating raw meat. Thats what a bug alien queen said as they invaded a mind of a chief once." Jeremy

"I see. So who will be first among you guys?" Jason said looking at his team

"Why are you looking at us all of a sudden?" Erwin said being nervous

"There is no other choice. The representatives of nations did tell us to make peace as much as possible, though failure will not be an option." Jason

"I didnt remember you saying for us to fight!" Erwin

"Yes, but its only one on one, So we cant lose this. Though also note that to them, this is a battle to the death." Jason said as erwin still thinking

"Well, do remember your training with jason you guys, he even trained you in hand to hand combat--" alexa tried to reason

"So jason knew this would happen right? As one of his visions!" Erwin

"No, i didnt know. My visions only work as a threat detector which revolves around me and whom i care about. Though i did anticipate something like this to happen." Jason

"So this is why--" erwin

"Oh just dont be such a wuss erwin!" Anna said as she slapped him

"Anyways, you all remember your trainings. Its not only because i need you guys that i recruited you, its because i believe in you guys and know you guys can do this!" Jason said with a gesture. "Are you with me then?"

The rest of the team agreed.

"Damn it, i would look like a total loser if i back out now. So yes, im with you." Erwin

"Are you guys done with your meeting? They are getting antsy now." Jeremy

"Alright, just give us a minute to decide--" jason

"I will be the first then." Erwin said as he walks towards the reptilian

"Thats good then!" Jeremy said as the rest were surprised

"Are you sure about this erwin?" Fox

"Sure, im scared to death. But i wont be able to move forward and face up to expectations if im just curling at the side." Erwin said before he was face to face with the reptilian

The reptilian was more like 12 feet and erwin like only 6 feet in height that he can really feel the fear. And where both sides were sitting on opposite sides of the arena, where monitors also show them aside from the fighters.

"Oh, and i even had all this relayed to earth as well, aside from the bug aliens. They should be able to see this." Jeremy

"Thats really supportive of you." Erwin said as he gulped

"So how does this battle start jeremy?" Jason

"Oh, i forgot. This whole arena is the battlefield, so lets all move upstairs first. Also, the match doesnt start unless one will attack first. Its also said that the fight can go on for days if one wont move, so one usually moves first." Jeremy said as he and the rest of the reptilians were going inside the gate again.

"Alright guys, lets go up stage." Jason said towards the rest of the team

"You attack first erwin, you can do it! They are a warrior race as well, so once they see a weakness, thats when they strike!" Max said before he flies up with them towards the stands

"Damn it! Why did i just go first. I just want this to finish fast." Erwin said as the reptilian put up a mean face against him. "Here goes nothing."

With that, he slapped the reptilian first. This does nothing. He then moves to punching and kicking, it does nothing again. He even did a low blow, it did nothing again. And thats when the reptilian sort of laughed at him.

"Dont be such a wuss erwin and use your powers!" Anna shouted

"We can all hear you anna, dont just shout over the comms." Jason

But that was also when the reptilian found a weakness and slammed erwin back.

"Erwin!" The team all said

"Hehh.. if it werent for this armor, i would have been dead. What a fool i was to think about being afraid of this thing." Erwin said as he struggles to get up

As the suit is also a bit uncomfortable, it gave them the necessary protection against the enemy.

"Erwin, i know kason just said hand to hand, but were facing against reptilians--" max

"I know! I have been a fool. Let me start again." Erwin said as he finally stood up and in a boxing stance

With the stance, the reptilian also sensed that he was serious now and also did a battle stance.

"Here i go!" Erwin said as he finally rushed towards the reptilian

Again, erwin punched the reptilian, but with his power over space. With one punch at the side, was like feeling a very big hand being able to punch at the reptilians side, along with enough power to make it cough blood. The reptilian attacked as well with his axe, erwin dodges it and went for another attack at the other side. With erwins every attack, it felt like the reptilian was being punched by a giant which is more taller than it, so the reptilian finally went to the defensive. With this chance, erwin was able to move forwards to attack the reptilian, but it caught his hand and was almost able to chop off his hand. But erwin noticed this and put some space from the reptilians hand and weapon from his hand, and was able to retreat.

"Its adapting to him" jason said as the whole team was watching seriously on the fight

As the reptilian was adapting towards erwins fighting style, this really made the whole fight to a draw, as erwin not only displayed boxing, but also muai thai. After a few minutes, they were both out of breath as the match was about to turn to a draw.

"Erwin, you can do this. Put an end to this fight." Anna

"Thanks, that means a lot. Love ya." Erwin said as anna couldnt believe what she heard

With that, erwin then moves to the final battle. As both draws near, they then sped up their combat as they clashed at the middle. And as the final blow, erwin kicked the reptilian upwards which launched the reptilian upwards. Erwin jumped to give a kick downwards with his power of space, which sent a shockwave. And finally, erwin fell with a kick using his 2 feet using his space ans the gravity, which also sent the reptilians blood flying all over the arena.

"Wow!" Jeremy said at his seat

"The match is done jeremy!" Jason said with his team celebrating

"Nope, the match isnt done yet." Jeremy said as a reptilian got out of the gate

As the reptilian got out of the gate, it walks towards the unconscious reptilian and killed it with his sword, before anyone could ever say anything else.

"To them, losing is against their pride. So thus the match is literally to the death." Jeremy

"Erwin, get back here now!" Jason said before erwin retreated and as the team were in horror of what happened

"What just happened?" Erwin said, still catching his breath as he flew towards the team

"Its just as jeremy said. They wont accept if a regular human would just win against them." Jason said with a serious face as erwin was tended by anna

"Are you alright?" Anna said, tending to erwin

"Yes, im alright." Erwin

"You mean what you just said erwin?" Anna

"What do you mean?"

"That you love me."

Erwin was at a loss of words that he remains quiet.

"You know, its better if you just say it all erwin." Alexa sais smiling

"A-alright then. Its true." Erwin said blushing

But then, a roar came from the distance before they could continue.

"Leave your love comedy later erwin, anna. It seems that they are eager now for the next match." Jason said suddenly being serious

"Alright then, let me go now." Max

"Are you sure?" Jason

"Yes, this will be a piece of cake. Also, i owe you now for your trust." Max said as he flew down towards the center

"Be careful." Jason

As max left an ok sign as he flew down, he then picked a weapon from the weapons on the walls from the distance and magnetized it towards him. It was a small sword designed for small reptilians that he chose and which it was big enough for him, thus the match started with max giving the first melee hit at the shoulder, which gave the reptilian a small graze. As the reptilian was also the same height as the last one, though a bit small in figure, the reptilian then showed his specialty which is speed and ran away from him from a distance.

“damn, this might be a bit troublesome.” max said with a smile and with some nervousness

Max then flew straight towards the reptilian but it suddenly hid itself using camouflage.

“man, these creatures can really adapt fast.” max said as he stood there for a while

Until an attack happened from behind, did the reptilian show itself. But the attack was deflected by max magnetic powers, which was stuck in place.

“sorry, weapons dont work on me.” max said as they both backed away from each other

As the reptilian abandoned its weapon when it backed away, it hid again from plain sight.

“its useless, as long as I can sense the metal from inside you, your no match for me.” max said as he now got himself serious

Max then magnetized all weapons in the walls to come around him, before he threw a barrage of weapons all around the arena, except in the stands where all of them were watching. With that attack, it then left the reptilian with only one arm left.

“give it up, will you?” max said as he reached out a hand towards the reptilian which was suffering in the side

Even with his hand reached out towards the reptilian, it was refused when the reptilian hid itself again and reappeared at a distance. With it bleeding, it couldn’t conceal its presence no more with its camouflage. Instead, it resigned the match by kneeling down.

“whats this mean?” max said as he gazed upon jeremy

“i don’t know myself, but it seems that its waiting for something?” jeremy

Then all of the reptilian chiefs stood up to jump down towards the arena and walked towards the injured reptilian, only to kill it with their swords. But this time, they all went to attack max.

“hey! Thats against the match!” jeremy said in shock

“let them all come.” max said with confidence

“no! Everyone! Back up max!” jason ordered

“what about you dear?” alexa said as the rest of them backed up max

“i will be here, its really unfair for you guys if I join right? Besides, its your debut.” jason

“you are really something dear. Well, I hope I wouldnt betray that expectation.” alexa said before she also goes towards the fight.

The fight was at a chaos, max was controlling weapons and launched them into the reptilians, fox was throwing reptilians into the air like trampolines, anna and erwin were back to back with fighting and guarding where anna using her force fields and erwin with his space. Then with alexa, she finally shows her powers which is the power of sonic booms, which each of her punches and kicks were like typhoons that blew all those reptilians away.

“enough!” one word that vibrated throughout the whole arena which also generated lightning all around it

As they view the arena of signs of the source of those lightning, they all saw that it was jeremy who made those lightning, which also fried everyone except the team if they hadnt worn the suits.

“damn it jason! I didn’t even think that your team would be this capable!” jeremy said with glowing eyes

“whats happening here?” max

“why does he have your lightning sir?” fox

“the blood samples.” alexa said with a serious face

“it truly was a wonder, that I became a mutant because of jasons blood. by fooling--” jeremy

“i wasn’t fooled! I intentionally gave my blood to every country so that they can analyze the genetic markers for mutants, for determining on how humans can evolve somehow. It was all for science and progress!” jason said on his seat

“yes, it was all for science. But its also your fault that everything came to this!” jeremy said with a smile

“tell me, why are you doing this?” max

“because jason wont become our god, and also cause we want to become gods ourselves! Thats what! And now, I have become zeus himself! Or thor!” jeremy said as he laughed

“you arent a god and you know it!” anna

“shut up woman! You literally don’t know how it feels when you are powerless!” jeremy

“but why would you do this? Why all this fuss? And why involve all the countries in the world?” max

“because I am a god, the moment I entered the illuminati. Well, the illuminati cant hide its existence anymore, so why the hell should they hide, thats what I have always said to them.” jeremy

“but they said no right? A society as ancient as the illuminati, with all its traditions and secrets, cant just go into the light.” jason

“you really get it jason. Yes, they didn’t agree with my plans, so the aliens took care of the remaining heads of the illuminati. Im the only god that is needed.” jeremy said as he struck lightning all over the place

“but why only lightning? I mean, sir jason has many elements aside from lightning.” fox

“no matter.. as long as I have this power, im unstoppable!” jeremy said with a laugh

“team! Remember your training!” jason suddenly said

“huh? What training?” gerald said as the rest was smiling

“gerald, keep up with us. You be the distraction.” fox said as he and alexa both flew towards the right side

“even if your my mentor, I--” gerald

“just do it!” the whole team said

“alright then.” gerald then fired lasers, which is his power, where jeremy was avoiding all of it with his electromagnetism

When both fox and alexa was on the right, the rest was on the left, which left gerald on the front.

“give it up jeremy! We got you all surrounded!” alexa said as they ready themselves to attack

“the hell am I going to give up!” jeremy said before he ran forwards towards the arena where gerald was

“gerald! Its now or never!” fox

as gerald readied himself to shoot a big one, jeremy became lightning itself and struck the ground, so that he can attack gerald. But when he attacked, there was a force field around him, and everyone else then tried to attack jeremy only to escape. Jeremy then tried to attack each member of the team only to find that each member was protected by their own barrier. Though as jeremy saw jason only sitting there on the other side, he then disappeared to make a surprise attack on jason only to find himself repelled by another barrier.

“what is with you guys and barriers?!” jeremy said as he stood some distance from jason
”you drank my blood only to have such a power, pathetic.” jason smirked at jeremy

With that, jeremy was pissed off and then tried to surpass jasons barrier by trying to reach out to him by hand, which in turn led to the discovery that he can self regenerate.

“this only makes certain what you are jeremy, you have now turned into an energy vampire.” jason said still sitting

“damn you jason! If I cant have you and your team!” jeremy said as he struggles to get passed the barrier without even getting burned to much that he would slowly be reduced to bones

As jeremy realized that he cant get into jason, he then disappears like lightning, and pops up into the center of the arena.

“give it up jeremy! We got yo surrounded!” alexa said as the whole team flew towards jeremy to surround him

“just how could you do this? Betray humankind?” max

“its never about betrayal max, it was for my personal reason.” jeremy said before a large scale mind attack on everyone.

“damn it!” jason said as he stood up

With that attack, he immediately rushed towards his team to disable the mind attack.

“what are you planning jeremy?” jason said as he concentrates on shielding the whole team against mind attack

“nothing. I just joined forces with those which benefits my plans, thats all.” jeremy said before an explosion was heard from the top of the arena

From the top of the arena, queens all dressed in battle suits of their own came down one by one.

“at this rate, I cant hold them off for too long. Team! hurry up for battle! Questions later!” jason

“yes sir!” fox said immediately as the others later agreed

“anna, call earth for immediate extraction. Unfortunately, we will need to escape.” jason said as he also strikes the alien queens with lightning

“yes sir!” anna said before getting the communication device inside her backpack

“not on my watch you will jason.” jeremy said as he covers the queens from jasons attacks

“damn you!” jason then deployed the electron so that he can fight him

As the team was busy with fighting the alien queens, jason was busy fighting jeremy which he only dodges jasons attacks, which jason knows that jeremy will only suck if he fires any type of element or energy. So he has to rely only on his lightning speed and to catch him, so that jason can annhialate jeremy down to the last particle, as that is the only choice he has. Anna was also busy fighting alongside erwin and sending help towards earth, so that they can open a portal using project stargate.

“sir! Communication sent!” anna said after a minute of waiting.

“so it will just be you and me now jason! Do catch me if you can!” jeremy said as they battle it out with speed, running from each other

As jason has the elements by his side, he also fires small blackholes towards jeremy where it just wont hit him, as well as blasting supernova blasts on the ground to make him lose footing. Until he noticed that the whole mothership now has many holes and damages all around. The team also try to dodge and redirect jasons attacks as best as they could, as many alien queens are now flooding the whole arena.

“father! I mean, jason wild! Stop this fight now!” a womans voice came from beyond the gate where the reptilians first came from

In that instant, jason also stopped himself by the gate, in front of the woman which was standing by the gate.

“who are you and what are you doing here?” jason said with a serious face

“this would be our first meeting father, my name is cleopatra.” she said before looking at the arena. “dad, please take care of jeremy, we will talk later.”

She was wearing rugged military clothes and in her 20s as jason scanned her from head to foot, and instinctively knew that its his daughter, before he turned back to find jeremy standing behind.

“oh? So who is this girl standing there?” jeremy said with a smile

Jeremy then ran towards them, but was repelled by using a quantum force field.

“if what your saying is true, then you should finish your business here before--” jason

“already done. Lets all hurry up and get to the portal which will be opening now!” cleopatra said as she pointed towards the other side of the arena where they came from where a portal is now opening

“good. Then lets go shall we?” jason said as he looks at the portal at the distance

“jason! Im not letting you go that easily!” jeremy said as he was ranting at the other side of the barrier

“after you dear.” jason said as he gestured

“thanks dad.” cleo said as she stopped time for everyone, except jason which was immune to it

“cleo, go grab everyone else and literally throw them into the portal. I have something to do first.” jason said going towards jeremy who has his time stopped

“alright dad, though I know im messing with time, but will this be--” cleo

“its alright cleo, I forgive you. Since I was going to do this kind of thing anyways later on.” jason said as he was now able to touch jeremy

As they were pressed against time, cleo then hurries the evacuation of the whole team while jason tends to some business with jeremy.

“dad, now is the time!” cleo shouted as she was now near the gate

“alright, just a sec!” jason also shouted as well

After a few more seconds, jason was then done and both of them walked towards the gate.

“time!” cleo shouted on the other side of the gate, which lets time continue

“close the portal now!” jason ordered the team for the gate

“yes sir!” the team then proceeded to closing the portal
”and there we go.” cleo said as she pushed the button on a remote before throwing it on the portal

“portal closed! Mission success!” the team said after the portal was closed

The whole teams all celebrated with the success of the mission as everyone was back.

“sir, what about jeremy? And who is this girl?” fox said as he regains his senses on whats happening

“yes, and where are also the world leaders?” max

“nice to meet you uncle fox, it me, cleopatra!” cleo said as she hugs him

“uhh.. is this what I think it is?” fox said to jason, which max also agreed

“yup.” jason said as he looked at the rest of the teams celebrate

“nevermind that uncles, let me fill you all in after the celebration is over. We will still go to the UN meeting room after this anyways.” cleo said as she walks away towards alexa

“oh, shes gonna be surprised by what shes going to hear.” jason

“yeah, were even surprised ourselves.” max said as fox agrees

Back at the UN meeting room, where the representatives of every nation was waiting for word about what happened, and playing the videos that were taken before the time stop.

“is this all the footage that we have?” chinese rep

“yes, unfortunately.” russian rep

“well, good job on taking them all head on, but im afraid to ask. Where are the world leaders now? And can you explain the whole situation on what is really happening jason?” american rep

“basically, all world leaders, presidents, vice presidents, prime ministers, etc, are all safe.” cleo

“well then, where are they?” a representative said

“though there is but one set back, and that is that all of them are dead in the first place.” cleo

“what?! how do you know? And where are they?” american rep said as the rest of the reps were surprised

“they are all now on the sydney olumpic stadium, 20 years into the future.” cleo said with a smile

“what?!” all the reps were shocked again

“i know it will be very hard to swallow, but its my daughters power, time. You cant blame her for what is done.” alexa said as she held cleos hand

There was a moment of silence and disbelief from the reps as it was a hard pill to swallow

“anyways, can you bring them all back?” american rep

“no, since right now, I can see that their corpses are now being examined as we speak by coroners 20 years into the future.” cleo

“just what the heck really is happening?! can you at least tell me that?!” russian rep snapped towards cleo

“hold on there, I think that we all need to calm ourselves down first before anything else.” jason said as he stood up and stood in front of the rep

“tch!” russian rep said as he turned away

“anyways, I would like you all to meet my little time traveler, clepatra wild. Her power is time and I would vouch that its a very powerful ability, which also has its effects if used too much, just like all powerful abilities like gravity and magnetism.” jason said as he introduced her

“enough of that dad, your embarassing me.” cleo

“enough of that, I know you want to brag about your daughter jason, but can you at least tell us what really happened?” american rep

“its simple really, the negotiations failed, at least with the reptilians. For the bug aliens, there was never any negotiations at all.” jason

“what the heck?!” all the reps were in dismay

“also, the illuminati heads are all dead as well, I have confirmed it. And by planting a nuke at the mothership, I was able to maybe at least kill some aliens. Oh yeah, just what did you do to jeremy dad?” cleo

“during the time stop, I just changed his blood type and cancelled his powers, thats all. There was no other way of doing it.” jason

“thats our jason!” alexa said as cleo agrees

“wait a minute, time stop, time travel, it all seems too unreal. Can you basically prove that you’re power is time?” chinese rep

“hahh.. fine, I will bring the world leaders corpses back here as proof, please bring a med team here. And I will also bring their certificate of deaths along with me.” cleo said as she stood up

“what?! how do you expect--” chinese rep

“just bring some med teams here. ASAP!” jason

“a-alright then.” american rep said as the reps were taken aback

With that, cleo disappeared after walking towards center stage.

“where did she go?” american rep said as they were shocked

“well, time travel powers are sometimes like that, it is instant. Though please do wait for a while for her, since the price she pays everytime she does that would always be a hard headache. Everytime she travels through time, the further away the time she will jump, the stronger her headache.” jason

“nevermind that, please call for medics now!” alexa said standing up

“and why should we?” russian rep
”you don’t want to smell some corpses do you?” jason said with a smile

“lets just listen to him, hes being serious.” american rep

After 30 minutes went by and after the reps were all arguing to each other on what solution would really be best, cleo came back with the bodies of the dead world leaders.

“ugh.. my my head.. this is why I don’t want to time travel thrice in one day.” cleo said as she was on her knees with a large headache

With her return, all of the corpses were taken to a hospital for another check up. Jason and alexa also stood up to care for their daughter when she is in pain.

“now do you believe me?” cleo said as she gave a tube containing the papers for their death certificates

“we now believe you, somewhat. But how do you suppose we tell this to the world?” american rep said and the other reps agreed

“right now, I think the best move is to tell the world about what has really happened. They already know about the negotiations, so they are also anticipating the results of such negotiations.” cleo said as she is still in pain. “my head.”

“what to do now? Any suggestions on what to do in this situation jason?” russian rep said as all of them were in distress

“its better to tell the truth than blaming others, for the truth is better than pride. But its all up to you guys on what you should do.” jason said as they let cleo sit on a chair

“nevermind that dad, its also because of your indecisiveness that led to them always arguing and with the future that I have now!” cleo said as she gave a USB stick to him

“i know what im doing cleo, even though I have power, with great power comes--” jason

“with great responsibility and sacrifice, I know. I have heard that line all my life. Anyways, all of them must see what becomes of the future.” cleo

“are you sure? Once the past comes in contact with information about the future, it will change what will happen to the future.” jason

“yes, im sure. Im sick of always having war between nations and the aliens altogether.” cleo

With such information, the reps just couldn’t believe what was told by cleo about the future, until they saw images and videos of what will come to pass. War between nations will break out between allied forces and delta forces, for the possibility for war between aliens or more negotiations between aliens and humans. Which also will lead to creation of more mutants within the allied forces, so that they can combat both reptilians and bug aliens. Many sacrifices, many deaths, many families torn apart, and nukes being used against motherships coming to earth and being intercepted by other nukes, causing a global breakdown of electronic devices or EMP around major parts of the world. And with all the pictures and videos that were shown, they all just sat on their seats in silence and fear. What made them specially afraid is that both species of aliens, even though they will not work together, they will also tear everything that earth has to offer. Making their own bases, cutting down more trees, more processing plants to make weapons while on the planet, more mining, scarcity of food and meat, and many more.

“guys, if your done being in awe at your idiocy, please also watch the video at the end.” cleo

They heeded her advice and watched the video, and it was a speech for the delta forces which has tried to negotiate with both species of aliens to a failure, each time. They being killed in battle, killed in cold blood by reptilians, brainwashed by bug aliens, being made as test subjects for their experiments, and many more.

“we have no words at all to describe all this miss cleo, except for the question on how will we survive all this?” american rep

Some of the reps were in tears as well as they saw what will become in the future.

“and where would be the whereabouts of jason wild and the other mutants?” russian rep

“i have an idea on what might be my decision when it comes to that, be in a community of only mutants away from all the wars and eliminate all that comes to the island.” jason

“why would you do that dear?” alexa asked in fear

“would you really need to ask?” jason said in grief

“stop it, both of you. Instead, I will tell my own story.” cleo

“would that be fine? I mean, it might change--” jason

“i know dad, and its also moms wish before she will die at the hands of other humans after all.” cleo

With this revelation, alexa was in shock

“would you like to continue mom?” cleo said as she tries to comfort alexa

Alexa instead just stood up and walks to the side.

But when they found their mother, she was already dead and buried on the tomb for heroes. Word says that she was betrayed by her fellow humans, as she believed in humans until the end.” cleo said with tears

“you finally get her sorrow alexa? The sorrow of our child?” jason said as he stood

“thank you for sharing that story--” alexa said still not facing her daughter

“do you still remember about project fireworks? We warned them and they wont listen. I want to try and warn them but I know they wont listen, which is why I let them decide for themselves.” jason

And that was when alexa finally went back towards her own daughter.

“no dad, your both wrong. This time, you may need to take command of this whole thing.” cleo

“what?!” the reps and even jason was surprised on the sudden statement

“shes right dear, telling you the truth, there were times that I couldn’t bear with the thought of always following your orders, since some were just so cold. But now I get it, and I will believe in your decisions until the end.” alexa said, seriously facing jason

“w-well, that could be an option. Just like I proposed before, let the mutants handle all the alien related matters.” american rep

“yes, we will approve of it. Anyways, the illuminati already have left so much power and money, and this is wartime, so we will allow for the making of the mutant society. Name name if I say so myself.” american rep

“yeah, whats the first thing you want to do as the leader of the mutant society?” american rep

“wait, with my powers alone, I could also see a linear timeline, but all I can see now are new possibilities of many futures!” cleo said, being frantic

“no worries about that cleo, its alright. I anticipated something like this might happen once you will mess with the past, so don’t worry about it too much.” jason

“well, aside from me now not being able to go back to my future, as it looks like im stuck here, what might your first order be dad?” cleo saying to just give up and face forward

2 years later, humanity made so much progress along with the new mutant society, like protecting the earth from any danger that might befall upon it from aliens. Of course, that would include the progress of making and advancing technology until its limits.

“how is this yggdrasil?" Jason said to a worker

Jason was in a yggdrasil for work, where he was at the control room at the time.

"Its old but still functional sir, though i think it will need changes."

"Thats good, Keep up the good work. Make the necessary changes as needed" Jason said before the worker goes back to work

Jason then goes back to mason industries where alexa and cleo was tending to the children, after he was done with his initial work at the yggdrasil. Though jason bought a cake before flying back to their home in the philippines.

"How are they?" Jason said, just like any father going home from work

"Just fine dad, specially baby me." Cleo said with a smile as she was playing with the children in the kitchen

"Where is alexa?" Jason said as he puts the cake on the table

It was already lunch time when jason arrived.

"Shes at the company now, taking care of paperwork. She should be home by now." Cleo

"Is it urgent paperwork?" Jason said as he sat on the chair by the dining table

"I think so. Anyways, she will be here in a second." Cleo said with a smile

"Im here! Whew! My day today is just awful." Alexa said as she just arrived

"How was the day alexa?" Jason

"Its awful! Hahh.. the board will just go back to the previous topic that you have already decided before. Saying that the reason to reinstate such a structure would be a bit illogical." Alexa said as she also sat on a chair

"They are still saying that? Hahh.. like i said, we would need all the resources we could get, even if its to recycle old structures such as the first yggdrasil." Jason

"Its was also even decided during the UN meeting that all industrial companies are to help with the recycling of those structures right?" Cleo

"I know, i even said so myself, but they said that they lack the money for such operations." Alexa

"They do have a point, since mason industries is just a small time industrial company." Cleo

"How about mason industries will just help with the recycling of metals, and exporting it to other companies abroad?" Jason

"But arent you forgetting dad? You are also the face of the company and your the leader in the resistance against the aliens, so the company cant afford also to just be lax about operations." Cleo

"Yeah, shes right dear. When jackie, the next in command, is also helping in the effort as we speak." Alexa said as one of the children came to jason

"Yes, i know. There is just so much to do right now." Jason said as he also patted the child

"So, how are all the production of assets?" Alexa said to cleo as she was feeding the youngest

"Kids, please do eat your lunch." Jason said to the children

"Yes dad!" Arthur, the eldest said before he pulled the second towards his seat.

"Aww.. i could still remember how we played before on the island." Cleo said reminiscing

"Anyways, how are production of ships now cleo?" Alexa

"Well, production is going smoothly. We now have achieved about 20% from our expected values." Cleo

"Thats good. We have over 5 years to prepare right?" Jason

"Yes, we have over 5 years to prepare. Though we can only rely my visions of the timeline for a bit, since its like i said, there are now multiple possibilities now." Cleo

"Since you messed with the past." Alexa sais being gloomy

"Well, it beats the alternative right alexa? We are our only family, including jackie. We may have relatives and friends, but family takes priority in this time." Jason said as all of them agrees
