Chapter 4

On the day after the attack on earth, there was chaos all over that people couldn’t even begin where to start if its either from the past or from the present situation that made it chaotic. And due to the recent events, all the people of the world are now busy tending to what to do in the upcoming war between aliens and humans.

“hello cleo, is my brother there?” jackie was at the phone and on a break from work

“hi aunt jackie, if your looking for father, he hasn’t returned yet.”

“just where is he now? Its his little sister thats worried about him. He should be thankful for that.”

“haha. I think of that sometimes as well, though if your looking for dad, hes with mom reporting on their mission.”

“hahh.. does he even know when to have a break?”

“i think he does, but as the world leaders really need them right now, I also think he cant escape from his responsibility.”

“well yeah, I can get that. Though they could have just skipped the whole meeting for now, you know what I mean.”

“yes, I know. Though if they don’t attend that meeting, who knows what the world leaders might do.”

“your right. 2 years ago, they were all just representatives, that due to the emergency of the situation, a leader must be made for each country to lead the people.”

“you already know right? Their responsibilities through the mutant society.”

“they also have a responsibility for being parents as well you know.”

“yes, I know. In any case, what would you need from dad anyways?”

“i was going to ask either him or you on what to do with these people that just came from the future.”

“well, lets all see what they will decide over the UN meeting.”

“yeah, even if I hate the idea.”

“well, thats all. For now, I will just order for these people to be checked up.”

“please do that.”

“bye.” jackie then cut the line. “hahh.. just how does my brother ever manage being busy all the time?”

At the UN meeting room, where jason is now giving the status report of the mission live on international TV. The reptilian was also encased in project iceman where it was loaded with lots of anesthetic, to have the reptilian sleep.

“and thats all there is to report on the mission.” jason

Jason and his team were now all sitting on the stage of the UN meeting room again.

“what?! is that all? All you just did was just destroy their bases!” russian president

“yes, we cant deny that fact. Though you must understand that it wasn’t an easy feat.” jason
”well, your the jason wild! You could have done more than that! And then you bring us this?” russian president

“yes. My plan at the last minute includes for information on the enemy.” jason

“ugh..” russian president being dismayed

“well, lets all leave it at that. Though it would have been more useful if you have brought back a bug alien instead.” american president

“bug aliens are proven to be more problematic to catch mr president, and when they are captured, htere is also no guarantee if the bug aliens will also hack my or any telepaths mind.” jason

“is that really how it works?” chinese president

“yes. Its a theory but im pretty sure of it.” jason

“hahh.. fine, we will believe you. But what now? What do you intend with the reptilian?” american president

“yeah, how can you extract information from a mere unconcious alien? When they cant even talk?” chinese president

"Thats why we have mr josh thumb and mike hump here, sitting with us." Alexa

"Yes, shes right. With mikes telepathy, he can get into their mind." Fox

"And with josh, who just came from the future with his quantum entanglement." Max

"I see your point." American president

"Just how do they suppose to do this?" Russian president looking at the american president

"With telepathy, he can get into their minds, and spread it with us through quantum entanglement. Is that right jason?" American president

"Hold up, i cant just do it with multiple people, there is a limit to my powers!" Josh

"Dont worry, i will help you ease the pain, or wont feel any pain at all." Jason said with a smile

"I see! If you help with your power of quantum, it might be possible!" American president

"Yes, but before that, what are you guys going to do with the evacuees? All of them are human. The only mutant there is only me." Josh

"By the way, just what exactly happened in the future?" The pope said as he and ali lama made a special appearance

"Why are both of you guys here?" American president

"Because all of the worlds faiths is at the crossroads." Pope

"Its either crumbling or gaining more people with worries towards the future." Ali lama

"How can i just answer it, when if i mess with time, we just cant.." josh said being frustrated

"I permit it josh, answer the question." Jason

"Since at this time, cleo cant be of use with her vision of the timeline, Thats why jason and i decided to bring you here." Alexa said as they all agreed

"A-alright then." Josh said looking at everyone and taking a deep breath. "We came to a future where earth is destroyed, or soon will be. Since we all decided to be on the defensive, specially the world leaders decided it, we have been losing. Resources, people, and our solar system will be depleted in this war. Earth is doomed either way, so the remaining survivors decided to evacuate. But jason said there is a better solution and we all agreed to it, so which is why we are all here now, with majority of mutants staying behind to help us escape." Josh

"I see.." the pope and everyone agrees and was deep in thought on what to do

"Which is why i say we go with jasons plan." Josh

"What?! What do we do with such information anyways?! Invade their planet? We already have limited people and resources already!" Chinese president said as some leaders agree

"if we dont do something, earth wouldnt even last!" Josh said being desperate

"Hes right sir, it will only be a matter of time before.. and we even still have plans for the rest of our lives!" Erwin

"Just how can you all be so selfish!" Anna said angirly

"If your all so desperate about it, why dont you lead a nation huh?! If it were so easy!" Chinese president

"Hes right in a way, and besides, how can this be justice for what they have done if we stoop to their level?" American president

"What do you think jason? As the leader of the mutant society, what should be the best action?" Russian president

"Yes, you have been quiet there for sometime." Chinese president

"Your all just using jason as a scapegoat to push all the responsibility, am i right? Ever since the illuminati are no more." Max

"What?! We are asking a sincere question here!" American president as the rest agrees

"You guys are probably being--" max

"Thats enough max, we get you. But as long as jason agrees to his reponsibility on this, as the third party for decisions, us mutant society should be here to back him up." Alexa

"Fine." Max said, giving up

"I have been thinking here, since both decisions are heavy, i need time to think." Jason

"What if they would attack again jason? What do we do?" American president

"Maybe we will just do both." Jason

"How?" Russian president

"It is predicted that they will attack after or during this 3 more years, we will use that opportunity to strengthen our defenses to its limit, before we execute the plan." Jason

"Yes, your right. So, whats the--" american president

"But before that, we should get the information from the reptilian." Russian president

"Oh yeah, right. If you would please jason." American president

As jason, mike, and josh agreed, they then held hands.

"For this to work, we should all hold hands." Josh said, reaching out his hand towards others

"And dont just forget your role in this charlie." Jason also reached out his hand

"But can i really do this? I mean, i can only talk with machines!" He said being nervous all this time

"Yes, you can do it. You can talk with machines, so the opposite would be true." Alexa said, grabbing his shoulder

"Ok then." Charlie said finally hokding jasons hand

"You just have to imagine your a computer to do it, so here is a tablet with a USB." Jason said, before charlie agrees

With that, everybody on the meeting room walks towards the stage to hold hands. And when all of them were now holding hands, jason then gives the signal so that mike can touch the unconscious reptilian. With the touch of his hand on the tube, they were all now connected to the reptilian.

"Now mike, show us his memories of the planets hes been and his home planet." Jason said, telepathically communicating

"No, show their culture." Chinese president

"Show their military and tech." Russian president

"Guys, we all should be just focusing on what jason said." American president

"Its fine, lets all see everything starting from his origins or home planet." Jason

"Roger." Mike

"Dont worry, with josh here, we can also dive back towards the data inside their genes." Jason

"Will try my best." Josh

With the camera set on them all, somewhat like holding hands and meditating with their eyes flashing light, they then dive inside the reptilians mind on the movie that is their way of life. What they saw was:

Just like humans, reptilians evolved to the top species of their planet, the top predator of their cycle of life. They built their civilization thru hard work and intelligence, though as their culture is based on violence as they posses power that no other animal possesses and intelligence, they often have wars and fights among their specie, also eating the dead to honor them. They dont eat everything cooked, they eat everything raw, and they dont have any languages aside from some sort of simple sign language and fighting to better understand one another. This way of life thrived until the bug aliens arrived, that they all had to fight the bug aliens with all they have. As the days go on and they are losing and as winning is in their nature, new type of reptilians rose up which replaces the old, the geniuses of their time. The geniuses were all medium in build and medium in height, but all of them still the same reptilians. With those geniuses, they began to have a fighting chance against the bug aliens by studying bug aliens and their tech, thus the war truly began for them. They were able to fend off all bug aliens from their planet as they replicate very fast, and because of their ruthlessness in battle. They sooner or later came to claim back their planet, but only to find it withered from its natural resources and food, thus they came to the conclusion of going from planet to planet to eat and get its resources. And soon, they rose in power, 2nd to the bug aliens in the universe, gathering food, power, tech, resources, and other sentient aliens. With their culture of fighting, they always send some alien species to battle with them. Those who won will fight again with an even stronger opponent only to lose and be eaten, and those who lose will either be pitied or killed and eaten. The females on the other hand, will be kept by the geniuses and raped, before they will either be killed or kept again for more reproduction between same or other species.

With all that information passing through their minds, the presidents were all sort of exhausted from it, after the session was done and they all sat or lied down on the floor. And only the mutants werent that tired from the session at all. While the pope and ali lama also almost fainted after the session.

"Did you get all that charlie?" Alexa

"Got all the video footage on USB." Charlie said with a thumbs up

"Thanks for the hard work guys." Jason said towards all of them

"No problem." Mike said as all mutants agreed

"A-anyways, did you also get which star system they all came from?" American president said as he was sitting on the floor, wiping his sweat

"Which one? There were very many to even count." Fox

"I dont know which, all of them seemed like their planet." American president

"I dont know about you guys, but it seems that those genius reptilians hold power over every other reptilian, and i want to talk to them." Russian president said and chinese president agreed as both of them were sitting as well, tired from the information exchange.

"What?! So this is also why my future was doomed, all because you guys want yo talk with them!" Josh said angrily

"Hold on there josh, we did say we want to talk.." chinese president

"Doesnt mean we want to really talk with them. Remember, they have no language at all aside from fighting." Russian president

"Yes, they know no morals and values, unlike us." Ali lama

"Which is why, even if its against our better judgement, we decided also to support for you to kill them. Specially the bug aliens." Pope

"Should we also view the information they have on bug aliens?" Jason

They all declined this time, as they now know the feeling of literally having so much power in ones hands.

"So thats how those with vision powers feel." Indian president

"Yes, and i believe that the one with premonition is safe in your country?" American president

"Yes, but he died of old age. So all we can trust now is whats presented to us." Indian president

"Ok then, what about my question earlier? Did you note which star system they came from?" American president said now looking at jason

"We believe so." Jason said as charlie agreed

"So, whats the plan now?" American president said as the rest of the world leaders now trying to stand up

Jason only smiled as he had one plan all along.

3 years later, earths forces now have strengthened their defenses to the point that it just became a military planet with lasers and more space ships.

"Hows the weapon looking?" Cesar

He was now at space where he oversees the whole fleet.

"Just a little tweeks to project rockstar, and it will be done."

"I mean, this is probably the last project that was last worked on by people ever since the last time people from the future appeared and disappeared." Cesar

"Yes, your right. Jason was even insisting on renewing project rockstar."

"So that project quanta can be mounted on it and fired upon motherships at the other planets." Cesar

"Though, this would also be an advantage. Since we dont have to do anything anymore in extracting resources there."

"True, but we also dont know just how much resources they would use at the same time." Cesar

"Hmm.." the scientist said, thinking. "Anyways, is it true that jason didnt do anything with the information that he got from the reptilian?"

"No, not yet anyways. Since earth still lacks the essential resources for battle." Cesar

"I see. Makes sense though, since there are rumors that he could have just gone there already and eradicated the reptilians already."

"Yes, i thought so too. But i also thought that they might attack anytime that jason isnt here. Remember, only the presence of jason wild kept all enemy ships at bay." Cesar

"Yeah, it really has me with mixed feelings about it now."

"How so?" Cesar

"That we humans are nothing in the face of impending doom, that we also couldnt do anything to help jason in his fight."

"No, its humanitys fight." Cesar said as they all agree. "Well, gotta go now."

"I wonder where jason is now."

"Oh, that? I bet hes busy with preparations right now." Cesar

Back on earth, at the olympic stadium at atlanta, where it was decided where project stargate is to be used.

"Whats the progress of project stargate?" American president

The world leaders and the best scientists in the world were also present in the event where they spared no time preparing for the plan.

"Just fine sir, and ready to go."

"Before, we just cant believe that dark matter can even be used like this right?" American president

"Yes, though jason is quite a genius in coming up with these ideas."

"Lets just call him imaginative." American president said with pride and as the rest of the scientists just accepted it without a fuss

"Mr president, general cesar is on." a soldier said after he ran towards him

“alright, put him on the big screen. I will just be there shortly” american president

“yes sir!” the soldier said before running back towards the control room

The american president waved to the scientists before going to the center of the stadium, where all world leaders are gathered.

“all preparations are now ok, where is jason and his team?” american president

“dont know, why don’t you ask the soldiers around? We have all been standing here for a long time now” russian president

“good point.” american president said before he walks towards a soldier. “soldier, where is your commanding officer?”

“sir, up there at the control room sir. Shall I call him over?”

“can I borrow your radio instead? I want to ask him something.” american president

“sure.” the soldier said before he gave the radio to him

But when he was about to call the officer, they then saw jason descending towards the world leaders which have gathered.

“your late!” russian president

“yes, I know.” jason said while carrying his helmet

“jason! Glad you made it! Where is your team?” american president said running towards him

“they are all waiting aboard titan, in space.” jason

“wait, isnt that the military ship that general cesar is on? Why didn’t you also had your team come over here?” american president

“because, we cant let our guard down, specially that its now been 3 years since that time.” jason said with a serious face

“well, they could just come here right? For celebrations sake. Whats the rush? Its almost new year!” american president

“this is why I didn’t want to come. Anyways, cleo predicted that there will be an attack from them starting from this year onwards, so we cant just let our guards down.” jason said as the american president is nwo starting to get nervous

With what they heard, the other world leaders also came forward towards them.

“what is the meaning of this? Why wasn’t we notified about this?” chinese president

“you didn’t tell them? I said over the phone to warn them right?” jason

“well, yeah. But I cant just cancel this event! Your call came 3 days ago and the world leaders all reserved schedules just for this day!” american president

“hahh..” jason said as he facepalms and the world leaders also being disappointed

“we all need a break sometimes right?” american president

“you know, our families are also inside this stadium or in a hotel somewhere, and we just received this kind of information just now?! what would you do if they suddenly attack?!” russian president said as everyone else agrees

“dont worry, america is the safest place in the whole world right?” american president said with a smile

“were all dealing with a universal threat, not a global one.” chinese president

“anyways, can I deal with all military matters for now? I want to go back to space where preparations are now complete.” jason

“preparations for what?” they all said

“since the prediction says that they will attack within this year, so I want to attack them first.” jason

“what?! no! We still havent had enough forces yet to execute--” american president

“my military will be listening to you for now.” russian president

“mine as well.” chinese president said as every world leader agrees
”alright fine! Do as you wish also with my military. But make sure your plan works!” american president

“ok. You may also watch the battle on the big screen if you want.” jason said as he put on his helmet and flew

“alright guys, lets all have a seat upstairs, so that we can see the big screen.” chinese president said as they all agreed

“hahh.. why does jason always have to be right?” american president said as he goes with everyone else to upstairs

With the world leaders permission, jason then flies towards space and into the hatch for the titan.

“whats the status of the motherships in each planet?” jason said after he arrived at the bridge and only standing at the side.

“no movement still, as well as no movement from every enemy mothership all around the solar system.” cesar said as he was sitting on the captains seat

“good, lets keep it that way. They seal my quantum entanglement with their mind powers, so its only natural I take the initiative.” jason
”no, humanity takes the initiative over them jason. For too long have they attacked us first.” cesar

“i would agree to that.” the others said and agreed

“yeah, that too. Anyways, is the rockstar ready?” jason

“yes, shes ready. Anytime and on your word.” cesar

“alright then. First off, fire at the motherships on mars before firing on other planets.” jason
”roger. Project rockstar, ready to fire!” cesar

As the project rockstar was also around a fleet of ships, its well protected from almost any attack.

“charged dark matter loaded sir! Its ready!”

“open portal and fire!”

with that command, the rockstar then started its operations again to open a portal towards the top of a mothership on mars, and fired on it.

“visual confirmation!” cesar

“visual confirmation from the moon clear. Its a hit!” one of the crew said as they tuned in to the satellite telescope up in the moon

“yes!” all of them celebrated

“its too early to celebrate yet! Target the other one and fire!” cesar

“yes, before any of them would suspect!” jason

“yes sir! Fire at other target now!” a crew said over the comms

With another confirmation to fire, the portal closed and redirected its target to another ship before firing. They all did this with all motherships around mars and cleared mars of any working alien motherships.

“all enemy motherships on mars hit!” a crew said before they celebrated

“whew! I think that the aliens are now in a state of confusion there.” cesar

“well, the way project rockstar was configured was that the rockstar itself would still rotate at one direction at the speed of light, but with the use of charged dark matter. Before firing the quanta into the portal and the portal with theoretically magnify the laser beam to a laser blast.” jason

“yes, and you just thought of it 3 years ago?” cesar
”on the spot while I was devising a plan for the world leaders.” jason

“i see. don’t really want to make an enemy out of you though.” cesar

“haha. Anyways, lets now concentrate on another planet to strike.” jason said as cesar agrees

“alright men! Like I said, its still early to celebrate! Lets target the next one!” cesar

“yes sir!”

With that, they targeted every mothership in each planet in the solar system, and they repeated this cycle for about 2 days.

“any movement from them?” jason said while drinking tea

Jason just came back from his break when he arrived at the bridge

“nope, not yet.” cesar

"Weird, they should have attacked by now. Not that im asking for it, strategically, its just weird." Jason

"I see." Cesar said as he started getting doubt for a second. "What you might be saying is true, they arent attacking yet. Though lets keep it that way." Cesar

"Sir, ive got readings on radar!" A crew member said as he immediately noticed

"All stations, brace for battle! Satellite imaging, are they clear?" Cesar

"No sir, no signs of ships in the surrounding areas!" A crew member

"No wonder it took us this long to notice. Camouflage." Cesar

"One meter more until effective firing range for lasers!" A crew member

"Will you make it j--" cesar said as he noticed that jason was gone. "Hes on the move now huh"

With the situation unknown, jason then ran towards his team which was all waiting by the excalibur 1.

"Your late! Haha. Always wanted to say that." Max said smiling

"We heard the alert, whats the mission?" Alexa said as they were all now in their battle suits and holding their helmets

"Enemy, invisible.. ready.." jason said as he was still catching his breath. "Man this place is big."

"Sir, you should catch your breath first." Fox

"Dude, you could have just used your lightning speed to get here you know." Mike

"Haha. Am preserving my strength for the battle ahead though." Jason said as he finally catches his breath

"Anyways, lets do this team!" Alexa said as she reached out her hand

With her hand reached out, everyone else also reached out their hand in like a group cheer. After jason was now all suited up and buckled in his seat, the enemys laser attack now had commenced from opening of the hangar.

"Good thing we have you anna" erwin

"Its also a good thing we warned the people at the hangar as well." Anna said as she was shielding the ship

But as the hangar was only open just for excalibur 1 to come out, they were able to get out of the titan, while also bumping some alien fighters along the way.

"Hey gerald, easy with the ship!" Anna

"I cant help it! There are just many fighters around." Gerald said as he was the one driving the excalibur 1

"Anyways, team, lets now go out and kick some aliens!" Jason said as he unbuckles his seat

"Yes sir!" The team said

With max, fox, erwin, jason, and alexa, they all then flew towards their positions and launched an all out counter attack against all alien fighters, while jason was out further at the front mowing down motherships

"You guys know our mission now right?" Anna

"Yes, protect the rockstar, i know. Im heading there now." Gerald said as he steered the ship towards the rockstar

With everyone now in their positions, where there were now lesser fighters aiming at the hangars, they now opened the hangars to let all fighters take flight to fight the alien fighters. As jason now goes at the front lines, the signal then reached earth where they also prepare for a large scale war once more, and with jackie now flying towards space to fight on the other side of the earth. Even though she was alone and surrounded by enemy fighter, she still smiles in the midst of overwhelming odds and summoned thunderstorms all across the globe, to strike lightning towards enemy fighters and motherships, thus damaging their control systems and frying aliens inside their fighters. And even though the strongest mutants all got space around earth covered, there were also some fighters which manage to pass through to earth, and thats where earth forces attack against alien fighters aiming for each city.

"Whats the status?!" Cesar

"Sir, a lot of them was able to pass through the thunderstorms and is now in battle with ground forces."

"Damn it, their numbers are just overwhelming!" Cesar

"Whats the situation now?!" The american president suddenly appears on monitor

Cesar then explained the situation

"Isnt it time yet for the sub plan to work?" American president

"Nope, not yet. We still havent heard a word from jason about this." Cesar

"Why cant we just do it?! Its now the right time is it not?" American president

"We still havent taken care of pluto ships! And we also even dont know how many more they are out there just outside our solar system!" Cesar

"I dont care! Just do it! We are losing people as we speak!" American president

"Get jason on the line, now!" Cesar said to the crew

"Ugh.." american president

"Sir, no response. Hes too far for our regular radio signals to work!" A crew member said

"Then go for the amplified signal! Since this plan deeply involves him." Cesar

"Yes sir!"

"Why wont you guys follow my orders?!" American president said frustrated

"We follow you as well sir, but remember, hes also part of this plan." Cesar said seriously

"Tch! Fine then!" American president said before cutting the line

"This is jason speaking."

They celebrated as they finally got through to jason

"Jason, can we proceed to sub plan A?" Cesar

"Yes! Of course! Its almost time anyways. I will be there in just a minute, please contact them to prepare." Jason said before he actions to fly towards earth

"Yes sir!" Cesar

With jason now heading to earth, and the others also notified of his absence on the battlefield, cesar contacts cleo to proceed to the plan.

"Your late dad." Cleo said with a smile

They were now at the big satellite dish in china where cleo was waiting for him.

"Give me a break will ya, im now a bit exhausted from firing many laser blasts." Jason

"I know. Lets just proceed to the plan." Cleo said as they walk inside

Inside the facility, there was now project voodoo also attached to the main controls.

"Is everything ready?" Jason said as he talks to the head scientist

"Yes, everything is ready."

"I mean the food. I really need a recharge." Jason said as his stomach was rumbling

"Oh, right this way." The scientist said as he directs them to the cafeteria.

"Is the food ready?!" Cleo said to the chefs and hurried to serve the food

"All we have are chinese cooking, woukd that be alright?" The scientist said

"Yes, im starving." Jason

With a full course of chinese dishes, jason was then able to fully charge himself, which cleo also ate as she was drooling.

"Alright! Now that im full, lets all go to the control room. Where is josh?" Jason

"Ah, hes at the control room now. He could have also ate with us but he declined." Cleo

"No matter, lets hurry up now, things maybe getting a bit dicey all over the globe."

As jasons prediction was right, that things around the world are getting dicey with many injuries and less casualties, jason and the others now prepares on project voodoo.

"Its the first time i have tried my own invention." Jason said as he wore the cap

"This isnt the time for awe dad, lets do this!" Cleo

"Ok, so what do we do now?" Josh

"First we hold hands. And since this project connects all of our brains rogether, once the machine is turned on, you can leave everything to me." Jason

"When do we activate our powers?" Josh

"I will tell you telepathically. Anyways can we start now?" Jason said before looking at the scientists

"But we arent done reading the data."

"Just flip the switch now! We dont have much time left!" Jason

"Yes sir!"

They flipped the switch and turned on the machine, thus connecting the 3 of their brains together.

"Josh, while our signal is connected as far as possible with this satellite dish, i now want you to turn your power to max. At the same time, cleo will use time stop, got it?" Jason said telepathically

With that, josh and cleo turned on their powers to maximum and stopped time for all aliens within the solar system and at a certain range outside the solar system, thus stopping the aliens brain activity making them brain dead.

"Is it over now?" The american president was on the monitor now

"Yes sir, i believe so. Since all signs of alien activity has now stopped." Cesar

"We did it!" They all celebrated

"No mr president, they did it. Im just asking sir, just where are you now?" Cesar

"At my bunker, where else? Along with the other world leaders as well." The american president said as he magnified the whole place in the screen

"Whoa, that place must be cramped by now." Cesar

"Anyways, lets proceed to phase 2 of the plan." The american president

"Yes sir. Contacting jason now." Cesar said as he contacts jason

"Yes, we are eating now." Jason said as the monitor shows the 3 of them eating.

"Oh.. im just here to let you know that phase 2 is a go." Cesar

"Alright then, will go to the stadium once im done here. Man this shaomai is delish!" Jason said before he cuts the line

"Ok.. contact his team now, to rendezvous with him at the olympic stadium now." Cesar

"Yes sir!" A crew member

"So, what now?" Cesar

"At the same time they carry out their mission, operation requiem, we will all go and clean up our solar system of every alien using project brokkr. And inspect what they have done while on the way." The american president

"Alright then. Will carry out the mission now." Cesar said before cutting the line

After some time, when the whole team was finished eating, including jackie, they all rendezvous to the stadium at atlanta to proceed with operation requiem.

"Hey alexa! You just went ahead from us when the fight was over, what happened?" Max said after they rendezvous with jason and the rest on the stadium

Alexa was with jason, cleo, and jackie as they also took their children with them.

"Well, i got a lot on my mind, so i rushed over to where my children." Alexa

"And i also figured she would do that so we got to her just in time. Its been 3 days since the children were being taken care by arthurs teacher." Jason

"I see. Just how a concerned mother should be." Max

"Well, you will also be like me when the time comes anna." Alexa said as she cradles elizabeth

"Haha, right." Anna said with a smile, looking at erwin who is also looking away, feigning ignorance amidst embarassment

"Anyways, who will be the members for the opration this time jason?" The american president said as the world leaders walk towards him

"For this mission, it will be the usual members." Jason

"Really? Thats all? I thought that you were going to get a whole platoon with you." Russian president

"Thats also an option, but were reserving it for earths protection." Alexa

"I see. And dont you guys want to change? You look uncomfortable in those armor of yours." American president

"Can we?" Erwin

"Nope, cause the mission will start now. I already had the team ready the stargate." Jason said as erwin looked a bit disappointed

"Alright then, we expect for you guys to protect jackie, cleo, and the kids while we are out there alright?" Alexa

"Yes, nothing will happen to them." American president swore as the world leaders agree

"So, when will we go?" Fox

"The team will go to space, to use the rockstar as a gateway to the said planet." Jason

"What?! I thought that this would be a stealth mission?" American president

"Yes, we will be going there stealthly, but we arent going there without a ship." Alexa

"I already have a military ship assigned to be with me by general cesar, so there are no worries about that right?" Jason

"I thought your going with the same team there?" American president

"I am, but also with additional forces. Dont worry about it, i will just only take about maybe 200 men with me out towards the unknown space." Jason said with a smile as alexa was saying her goodbyes to the children

"Thats what were all worried about. And when will you come back anyways? Would the earth be safe by the time you will come back?" American president said as the world leaders agree in fear

"Dont worry, will be back soon, maybe way before the time they will strike next. Since im with them." Jason said as he pats the head of arthur. "Jackie, cleo, make sure you protect earth and my children alright? An easy task."

"Yeah, right. Easier said than done." Jackie

"Like really, its way easier than what im about to do right now." Jason said with assurance

"Alright dad, you can count on us." Cleo

"Im here sir! Ready to be of service!" Josh said after he finally showed up all suited for battle

With jason saying his goodbyes to his children while the world leaders ranted their hearts out of fear for the "protection" of the earth, they then got inside the excalibur and flew towards space once more.

"General cesar, this is gerald from excalibur 1 reporting. Is the herald ready for the mission?"

"This is cesar reporting, its ready alright, 200 men, 10 scientists, 10 medical staff, and 5 miscelaneous staff all reporting on the ship." Cesar

"Everythings going smoothly as planned, and while they are still at a disarray, we must make this an opportunity for us." Jason

"I hope your right about that jason, once you go through that portal, there is no coming back here to earth if the ship will be destroyed." Cesar

"We have no other option general, its either destroy or wither. They got the numbers, but all we got is me." Jason

"You sound confident." Alexa

"Yeah, i know. But its true." Jason

"Yes, i believe sir jason is right." Fox

"Well, as they all say, ignorance is bliss. So maybe if the world leaders make a mistake, they might regret not having jason around." Max said laughing a bit

"Anyways, the portal is ready and the herald is ready, may you have a safe trip." Cesar said as the excalibur 1 was now entering the herald

"And who is the captain of the ship again?" Jason

"Ask her yourself, she volunteered anyways." Cesar said as the team was a bit surprised

After arriving at the hangar, they disembarked and checked the ship, while jason and alexa goes to the bridge.

"Im captain trisha spenser, reporting for duty sir!" The captain said with a salute to jason

"Glad to meet you captain. So i heard you volunteered for this mission?" Jason

"Yes, i did. Aside from the fact that your the earths mightiest hero, its also my dream to serve my planet." Trisha said before she sat down again

"Whats the current status?" Alexa

"Right now, there are no signs of aliens out there as far as we can see, the rockstar is now ready, and the herald is now ready, all we need now is your word." Trisha

"Alright then, mission start! First we go to planets within this galaxy before going towards other planets outside our galaxy." Jason said as they now sit down for the mission

"Yes sir! Set course for the nearest habitable planet in our galaxy!" Trisha

"Yes maam! Setting course now!" A crew member said

With the rockstar now turned 90 degrees and its head open, so that it can be a portal for the ship, the herald now set course for the nearest habitable planet in the galaxy. And as they pass through the portal, it just felt like passing through a hula hoop, where they felt nothing at all aside from a mild shacking feeling when the ship passed through.

"So this is what it feels like to pass through spacetime." Trisha

"Maam, we have the planet in view." A crew member said

As they saw the planet, all they could see is a ravaged planet almost void of life.

"How horrible." Alexa

"This is what happens if you would let those creatures take over." Jason said angrily

"What is the distance towards the planet?" Trisha

"Just a hundred nautical miles away maam."

"Good, they havent spotted us yet." Trisha

"Alright then, we will now get the team together for an investigation." Jason

"Yes, and we will be here. If anything happens, we would be near enough for you to pick up." Trisha

With them in agreement, jason and alexa proceeds towards excalibur 1 where the team just came back.

"So, whats the mission now?" Max said inside the excalibur 1

"This will be a stealth mission. We save whats left of the locals and when were done, we nuke the planet." Jason

"How will we infiltrate such a heavily guarded planet?" Erwin

"Since you guys arent trained for any infiltration missions, lets just go at it like this." Jason said as alexa continues

"Before mission will start, josh will locate all locals in the planet and determine which ones are young and old. We save what can be saved with the young and leave the old behind." Alexa

"But isnt that just too cruel?" Anna

"Yes, i know. But its the only way we can save those locals from total destruction of everything, their heritage, their dna, everything." Alexa

"What you mean?" Fox

"From what we got from that reptilian before is that each planet is governed by a genius right? And its that genius responsibility to manage everything. And when another genius is born from that planet, thats when a contest of strength happens." Jason

"And they kill one another, yes, we also got that part. But if we do such a thing, we would be no less than those reptilians." Anna said in sorrow as erwin comforts her

"I know this is hard, but the ship can only take so much cargo. This makes me sad as well, but we got no choice." Alexa

"But look on the bright side, its not a total lost, since we will save at least whats left of the specie in this planet." Fox said before anna almost hit him and erwin stopping her

“i know this would be insensitive of me, but we only have enough provisions as well for 4 civilizations, including us.” fox

With that reasoning, no one was able to change the facts of the plan, and they said nothing else.

“as long as we are quiet here, there is no progress. Lets all just go with the plan no matter how horrible it may be.” jason

“arent you uncomfortable with the plan yourself sir jason?” anna

“i am uncomfortable with the plan, but we have no other choice, even if I was the one who made the plan.” jason
”so that makes you a cold hearted person, im right arent I?”anna said angrily

“whatever you say anna, the responsibility for this mission lies with me. And since you all are selected for the mission, you must fulfill it with me. I trust in you guys.” jason

“what responsibility? If you made the plan, you could have made a better plan right?--” anna

“shut up anna, I know and can relate with you on that, but what jason said is true. Lets say that we were able to save all the locals here, we still have the responsibility to save all other locals on other planets that they have conquered. So, how do you propose we save all of them? Also with very limited time as well.” alexa

She could no longer say anything as the logic seemed very sensible.

“alright then, any more arguments or questions towards the plan?” jason questioned everyone

“none I believe. I really hope we are doing whats best.” alexa

“no, we are doing whats best, its just our capability to do so thats limited.” jason

“your right dear, again. Though it vexes me sometimes.” alexa said as she touches shoulder to shoulder with jason

“anyways, whats the plan?” max

“oh yeah. Firstly, since we arent used to stealth missions, I will do the distraction. Anna, mike, josh, and gerald, hold the fort with the ship, the others will do the rescue. Once this ship will be full, we will take off and nuke the planet.” jason

“roger.” fox said as others agree

“you guys done with the strategy meeting?” trisha said on the monitor

“yes. We are all ready for the mission.” jason

“alright then, will now engage the camouflage after you will leave. We have red and yagi on standby anyways.” trisha

“yes, we will notify you when were done with the mission.” jason

“good luck you guys.” trisha said and saluted before cutting the line

With that, the excalibur 1 launched out of the herald and gone towards its mission towards the ravaged planet.
