Chapter 1 Kuchisake-onna

Tomoko sits in the back of her class with her long hair fiddling with it she looks outside the window ready to get out of the class two girls approach her as she dodges the interaction by asking to go to the bathroom fleeing from any interaction she fixes the black mask she is wearing  she walks away hiding her condition from others as she walks into a guy who happened to be skipping class a old school crush who she happen to like in middle school a man known for his weird hairstyle Hayato. He had pink hair and was considered weird by other boys but girls absolutely loved him including Tomoko so she had somewhat given up on the idea of even getting close to him. Tomoko had fell to the floor and he grabbed her hand and pulled her up and asked if she was alright she nodded while thinking she was totally gonna become his girlfriend she couldn't be more wrong. A boy by the name of Yuto quite short and frail had tripped on a stair while looking at Tomoko a girl he had found quite mysterious. Yuto saw her and then hit the ground and ate the floor a bit.  Tomoko saw this and had helped him up she turned to look for Hayato and he was long gone. "thanks for helping me" Yuto said. Tomoko nodded "It's no problem at all also you ate dirt quite literally" suddenly Yuto looked up and the third floor was dark there was no one he had wondered "what the heck was going on where did Tomoko go?" He looked around only to see a creepy man who held a rope and simply hung himself it was disgusting and quite dark Yuto ran but the man was still there. "What the hell!" screamed Yuto as he awoke from a dream he had the flu and Tomoko caught him before he had passed out that's what happened and the nurse gave him a cup of ginger ale and told him to go home for the day Tomoko had asked for Yuto's cellphone number and he had given it to her then he left the school for the day. Yuto had walked home without an disturbing thing in sight and when he went home he had searched up Hanging man dream on his computer to try to figure out something. There was an ask and question section with only one person asking the question has anyone had a dream with a person  hanging themself it seems to reoccur and its really troubling me? A person who had the same issue seemed like something Yuto was interested in he planned on  questioning the person by asking where did the dream occur in his dream? The user responded it happened in a school and that he had done some research and figured out that it was a curse someone had inflicted on him. The hangman curse was what it was called a quite fitting name thought Yuto. Tomoko had texted Yuto asking him why he screamed earlier that day?  Yuto responded by saying he had a creepy dream Tomoko asked if it had an hanging man in it. Yuto was shocked how did she know. Yuto asked a question Are you user 3545 on  Chat app. She responded with no saying she doesn't use chatting platforms and she only knows about it because someone in her family has cursed her with it she has no clue who. Yuto was confused who could the person who cursed her be? Tomoko had an idea of how the curse worked after she found a book on curses in her library an idea of a curse by a person who simply touched you could be the idea. yuto hadn't touch anybody that day or talked to anybody suspicious but he had touched Tomoko so he asked. "Could that work for people who already have the curse give it to somebody else?" "that could be an possibility " said Tomoko. Yuto thought the user must be someone who has touched an cursed person so most likely someone who has touched Tomoko maybe someone like an older sister or brother that could be someone who could be ruled out possibly. Yuto continued to think until he had to get off his phone and get ready for the next day of school throughout the week he would dodge people and only hang out with Tomoko to discuss theories about the curse. These two hanging out drew much unwanted attention. On the other hand Hayato had been having the same dreams Tomoko and Yuto had been after he accidently bumped into Tomoko most of the times the curse won't just transfer as quick as a bump or single touch but it just happened to that day Hayato had not been able to sleep for days and was wondering he would walk around the outside cafeteria of the school when he would overhear Tomoko and Yuto discussing an hanging man Hayato looked deranged and shook Yuto saying 'Did you talk about some Hanging man?" "Yuto looked confused "Yes I did?"  Hayato said "So you know about that cursed dreams I have been having is there a way to defeat them" "We've been having these dreams too and there killing us to" said Tomoko. "We don't know much about how to beat it though but it is contagious" said Yuto. "Contagious like a virus?" asked Hayato. "yes absolutely contagious just a couple of touches and it will be transferred" said Yuto.  "You, You touched me in the hallway yesterday you, you gave it to me?" said Hayato in a frightened voice. 'Sorry but I can't take it back and I still have it" Said Tomoko. "So what are we gonna do to defeat it" said Hayato. Tomoko responded "most likely I was given it by someone I know I theorized it to be a family member but it could be an complete stranger who gave me it that person probably killed that man that we are cursed of seeing" Hayato shook his head "That is possibly" he thought. Yuto said "We should find a place somewhere to talk about our curse theories so we can get rid of this as quick as possible" Hayato said "Ok I know of an abandoned place that no one knows of an old abandoned factory known for how it exploded a long time ago but this place has no radiation anymore yet locals are scared of it for it's creepy atmosphere" "Alright I have an suggestion give both of us your phone number and we will meet up there" said Tomoko. "Tch! Anything I guess to get rid of this nightmare" Hayato said. He handed over his number and they would have chosen a time to meet up for later. Yuto messaged Tomoko "I don't like Hayato"  she responded "Why he's a good guy" Yuto responded "Um I just think he's to good to be true he's popular why would he wanna help us"   She responded "your not making sense he want's to help because he's inflicted with the same curse"  Yuto realized something he might have liked Tomoko and just didn't want someone to interfere with him and her. Meanwhile Hayato had no interest in Tomoko but he did want a person he could call a friend after all every guy he ever met was a person of envy for him he had no person he could call a friend but had plenty of girls who swanned over him. The next day they would be heading to the abandoned factory.
