Chapter 4:

Our True Journey Begins.

Born Into Divinity.

After the duel we never saw Mihito again, it's like my father had beaten him so badly that he couldn't bother to show his pathetic face anymore. Over the next four years, my father tried to teach me the best he could (to who he thought was someone with the mind of a four-year-old) the arts of Prana. Turns out even if you have not truly awakened your Prana in the explosion that the book described, you could still utilize the Prana arts, although not NEARLY as efficient nor powerful as what it would be like when awakened. A few weeks after my fourth birthday, dad decided to put all of the knowledge I had gathered in my mind to the test, making me send a blast of congested fire-based Prana at him. It felt like I took some of the oxygen from the very air itself, and created my own oxygen to fuel this flame. After the firing, the blast which held quite a punch, a cloud of dust appeared upon impact. After the dust cleared, he had one visible scratch on his face. "Y-You really harmed me? even if you are a noble you must have quite a lot of talent champ", he said. For someone as strong as he was, I was ecstatic. He went to tell my mom the amazing news, that I was a prodigy mostly because of my genes...

Michi Azuma POV:

My son was an unheard-of talent! The fact he could even break past my skin despite me being an A+ ranked mage was amazing! Before I got lost in thought though, Kanna interrupted me, "While that is amazing, we should not let it get to his head. Let's humble and rationalize him so he does not become like some of the snobs who valued power over everything." She was right, what use was my son being 1 in one million if he was not even a kind person. So I called him inside the house so we could have a talk. He seemed to listen to every word I and Kanna said so we let him ask the question he had for us...

Yuuki Azuma POV:

After they let me ask my question, I quickly asked it, without a moment's delay, "What do you mean even if I'm a noble?" They soon explained to me that nobles were born with an abnormally high amount of internal Prana and that they are able to use it better than almost everyone else. This abnormally high Prana power went from generation to generation, getting stronger from each generation. It all made sense now, how dad was so powerful and how mom could use such advanced healing arts. In the next few weeks, I trained and trained, sparred and sparred with dad, learning both Prana arts AND sword arts. They were preparing me to go to the biggest city in the country, Seikatsu by the time I was ten to twelve.

To enroll in the prestigious Seikatsu Academy.
