The unknown scientist begins to experiment something that can unlock and change the course of human history, meanwhile at his basement, as he begin to continue his research, trying to lock the hidden potential of his discovery but he finally felt that the time was running out. As he discover it, the realization that this could end the humanity in a darker path, he decided to hide the research because it will doom humanity if it was rediscovered
50 years later, in a bunker where another unknown scientist were creating a device he find from the other unknown scientist before him as he make the better version of the creation the scientist before him who discover the hidden potential, once he learned and discover something the same fear as the scientist before him, now he decided to hide this doom from humanity that no on else can discover this ‘artifact’ it’s like a Pandora’s Box that was given to him, now he did what he needs to do, the same choice as the first scientist before him, he hide where no one knows this revelation he saw before his eyes.
A sudden Scientist named Halbert discovered the ‘artifact’ where Elias hidden, in a year 2014 he studied what is this research on both the unknown scientist and Elisa created, understanding the way of the human kind and how it will required, luckily, he studied programming and computer engineering, now he is creating a machine that can interact the mind and how to interpret them, in year 2019 he got it and he begin to test his creation few hours later, he saw a huge success..
Halbert released and introduced the world about Neural Nexus, many people both civilian and military that they saw the potential the Neural Nexus, knowing the minds and how they will know what kind of things they are going to know and see what was inside the human mind…
In a year 2145, as many of the people of the city have Neural Nexus on their temples, they went to work, go home and sleep then it’s vice versa, in a house where no one knows, many computers were watching the ‘advertisements’ when a lone male figure was watching them.. knowing that this is all lies, hiding the painful truth of the suffering the people in this city..

After work, the CEO visited Alex as Sarah and him got called by secretary of the CEO, they make their way to the office and saw that, when they reached the destination, CEO begins to question
About the product that they propose. After few hours of discussion, the CEO happily accept the proposal and they begin to create and introduce a product to their clients yet they will need a approval in different departments to make it happened. Alex and Sarah were happy to hear it, however to Alex, he found a linger of doubt about this companies’ real intentions, so he stay professional and he will do what it needs to be done while observing the company’s behavior.

As Alex Harper was going to go home, he stopped by to the grocery store to buy some food to cook for tonight, he grabs some ingredients and buy it. He saw other people were minding their own business, the machine of ‘Neural Nexus on their temples, as he got his groceries and begin to make his way to his apartment. Along the way, he noticed how the people used the Neural Nexus in their temples, some using for music, for job, mostly daydreaming and use for fantasy of themselves. He reaches his apartment room, and start cooking, he uses the device on his temples as he begins cooking. From tutorials to music, as he tastes and 3 hours later, he began to eat.
Next day as he woke up from his bed into the apartment, he got up and began to fix his bed then begin to cook his breakfast, after some time he take a bath, dress up his work and left the apartment, few hours later as he reached the company and start navigating to the building to his work area, after that, he begin to work as he tap his neural nexus machine on his temple on one of 4 small LED circles to start his work.
# Chapter 1: The Awakening
Alex Harper awoke to the soft chirping of a digital alarm clock, its gentle tones blending into the hum of the city outside his apartment window. The sun peered through the blinds, casting striped shadows across his cramped living space. With a groggy stretch, he swung his legs over the edge of the bed, the chill of the wooden floor sending shivers through him.
He began his morning routine with the usual motions—fixing his bed with practiced precision, tucking away the wrinkled sheets and fluffing the pillows until they bore a semblance of order. The apartment felt oddly still, a pocket of tranquility amidst the bustling metropolis beyond its walls.
Alex ventured into the kitchen, the small space streamlined and efficient, replete with futuristic gadgets. The smell of sizzling eggs and brewing coffee soon filled the air as he prepared his breakfast. The neural nexus machine embedded in his temple—a smooth device with four small LED circles shimmering white—reminded him that each thought would be amplified, feeding directly into the city’s vast digital network. He had grown accustomed to its presence, always there, a companion of sorts, but he couldn’t help but wonder about the freedom of days long past.
After the satisfying meal, he stepped into the shower, the warm water washing away the remnants of sleep. He dressed in his standard corporate attire, a tailored suit that felt more like armor in this world where appearances mattered as much as aptitudes. Finally, with a gentle tap on the neural nexus, he activated its array of functions, preparing it for the day ahead.
Leaving the apartment, Alex immersed himself in the pulse of the city. The streets thrummed with life, a cacophony of sounds and sights. People maneuvered around him, their own neural nexus machines glowing softly, connecting them within the intricate web of shared information and real-time communication. It was a semi-futuristic landscape, where everyone was interconnected, yet somehow more isolated.
As he approached the towering glass structure that housed the company he worked for, a familiar thrill coursed through him. This was where he had spent years of his life, entrenched in a digital realm where productivity intertwined with personal ambition. He swiped his keycard at the entrance, stepping into the sterile yet bustling atrium, where holographic advertisements flickered like will-o'-the-wisps.
Navigating through the maze of cubicles, Alex felt the familiar sensation of the neural nexus connecting him to his workstation—a streamlined hub of screens and data. He took a seat and, with a deliberate tap on one of the LED circles, awakened the machine. Instantly, information flooded into his mind, a torrent of tasks and projects that needed his attention.
The atmosphere buzzed with electric energy as employees around him juggled multiple tasks simultaneously, their thoughts synchronized with the larger corporate hive mind. Alex dove into his work, his thoughts becoming a symphony of clicks, keystrokes, and neural impulses, propelling him deeper into the digital world where every decision, every action, was monitored and optimized.
But amid the routine, a lingering thought tugged at the back of his mind—a yearning for something beyond this life of constant output. Something that whispered of freedom, perhaps lost in the lines of code and connectivity that governed his existence. In the depths of the interwoven digital tapestry, Alex wondered if there was a destiny waiting to be discovered, or if he was merely a cog in the vast machine of progress.
And so, as the day unfolded, Alex Harper was not just another worker in the city; he was a seeker, poised on the brink of an awakening that would force him to confront the very essence of his existence in this brave new world.
