Chapter 21

"bravo 1, we have been found out! We need back up!" alpha 1 said, as they were hiding at the side of the entrance

"roger that!" bravo 1 said, before he slides downwards to the ground

As the elevator cant be used for now, the only way in was either from the front, or from the back. So bravo 1 team came down using many ropes, in order to back up alpha 1 team.

"we are here!" bravo 1 said, before providing cover fire

They then brought out a grenade launcher, and was now aiming at the entrance door, to destroy it.

"shoot now!" alpha 1 shouted at bravo 1

Then bravo 1 shoots the launcher, to destroy the front door.

"alright! The only thing now is, to--" alpha 1 said, before they heard a sniper shot

"sniper!" one of them shouted, before they all took cover

"damn it! I thought this was just a research facility! How come they have snipers here?!" alpha 1 said

"dont ask me!" bravo 1 said

"anyways, you guys must now move forwards! We have the back side!" charlie 1 said, as they were now going through the escape route

"roger that!" bravo 1 said, before they could hear gunfire at the back

"charlie 1, do you hear--" alpha 1 said, before an interruption

"we are also under fire! But no worries!" charlie 1 said, before they couldnt be contacted again

"we must press on forwards, for now." bravo 1 said, as alpha 1 agrees

"fire again! We must move to phase 2 of the plan now!" alpha 1 said, before one of them contacted the surface

Then on the surface, a signal flare was fired, signalling phase 2 of the plan.

Back to leo and the others..

"hey general, can i also use the suit?" leo said

They were now moving along through the other advance tech research, when leo found something on interest, even when the lights were on red.

"wait, what?!" ken said. "you want that? Its still experimental you know!"

"all the more reason." leo said, with a smile

"i will take responsibility for it sir." ivan said, seriously

"alright. But you guys must come back us upafterwards!" ken said, as they agree. "colonel, you also stay, to grant them access to the rooms." he said, as she also agreed

With that, leo, ivan, flower, hikari, and ruby, stayed behind to help leo.

"just what is lacking in this powered suit?" leo said to hikari, as they were walking towards the suit

"according to this tablet, the only thing lacking is a power source, but theres maybe no power source here available." hikari said

"ruby and mom, accompany the colonel, and search for an independent power source." leo said, after opening the container for the suit

"roger that bro!" ruby said, before the 3 of them has gone

"are you really using this thing leo?" ivan said

"yes." leo said, seriously

"why?" ivan said, curious

"i have a bad feeling about all this." leo said

Then back to the frontlines..

"alpha, bravo, charlie, this is delta 1. Please respond."

"delta 1, are you ready?" alpha 1 said

Both alpha and bravo teams were still exchanging fire with the security forces at the time.

"yes, ready when you are." delta 1 said

"alright guys! Retreat! Provide back up too!" alpha 1 said

"alright! We have been waiting!" one of them said, as they all agree

With that, they then retreated upwards.

Then later, back to general ken..

"whats the status there?" ken said to a soldier

"we now have many casualties, but we aredefending well sir." the soldier said

"and?" ken said

"they seem to be retreating sir, but we cant be too sure." the soldier said

"so have you secured the perimeter already?" ken said

"yes, the whole situation is already under control." the soldier said

But then, they all felt very tired all of a sudden.

"damn it! Sleep gas!" ken said, before he went unconscious

Then at the surface, there was a private chopper which has landed..

"is the situation under control?" ibrahim said, as he got out of the chopper

Both ibrahim and alba were now going down the chopper, where they were hoping for the missions success, and the data retrieval. The chopper was parked near the beach, away from the trees.

"yes sir!" alpha 1 said, as they were now walking towards the main entrance

"i told you that we should have used sleeping gas earlier." ibrahim said

"sorry sir, but that thing costs a lot--" alpha 1 said, before he was interrupted

"i value efficiency more than anything else, you know." ibrahim said, as they arrived at the entrance of the facility

"yeah right. People like you dont care about us mercs anyways." alpha 1 said, sighing

"you will do the job, as long as you get paid right?" ibrahim said, after getting some cash from his wallet

"yeah, whatever." alpha 1 said, before he gets the cash

"anyways, whats the situation down there now?" alba said

"they all should be asleep by now." alpha 1 said

"and what are you waiting for? Get clear the mission now!" ibrahim said, ordering them

"are we really going thru all this? Just to murder some kid?" alpha 1 said

"thats just a side mission.. Your main mission is to steal all the data inside there." alba said

"yeah, but even murdering his family in the process?" alpha 1 said, seeking logic to it all

"is the elevator operational?" ibrahim said

"no, since we have cut the power to it anyways." alpha 1 said

"if i cant go down there, you will have to do! Now go!" ibrahim said, pointing to the entrance

"hahh.. I would still like to seek the logic in murdering a whole family, for your pride." alpha 1 said

"you are one to say? You also have killed those other security personnel down there, all for the sake of money, my money." ibrahim said, angry

"they are all ready to serve their country with their lives, thats what it means to be a soldier." alpha 1 said with confidence

"whatever, just go down there and retrieve the data." ibrahim said, annoyed

"alright then." alpha 1 said. "but we will do this, my way." he added, before he signals the strike team to go down
