Chapter 5

"hahh.. Student council elections are now just around the corner.. Just what will leo decide about it." theo said on his desk

They were now at their college, where leticia was sitting beside him, like always.

"its too late to even think about that now, we arent affiliated with them anymore." leticia said

"yeah, you are right. Im just feeling that this years elections might be a bit.. Troublesome. Maybe." theo said, worried

Meanwhile, back in one world high, where elections week are just starting..

"hey brian, is everything ok there at your end?" leo said over the comms, where he was guarding the front entrance

The disciplinary committee was now guarding the whole gymnasium, for the whole voting process.

"nothing new here, just the girls counting in on the votes." brian said, as he was just sitting at the side

"and thank you again tom, for also helping us with the security detail for this whole event." leo said, now leaning his back on the wall

"no problem. I know you guys were short handed, thats why i also volunteered." tom said, who was guarding the voting precinct

"i know you just want to volunteer, because maam ludric is now the teacher in charge of the committee." brian said

"yes and no, because i really just want to help my friend leo." tom said

"ok then." brian said

"guys, please concentrate on the task at hand." alba said, as she is now supervising the vote counting people

"yes maam." all 3 of them said

And after that, miku appraoches leo at the front gate..

"mr rivera, can i have a word?" miku said, shyly

"leo is fine, were now friends right?" leo said, as he patted her head. "so, whats the matter?"

"ok leo.. Im just deeply ashamed of what happened back then. If there is anything i can do to apologize." miku said, deeply regretting the event, and teary eyed

"its alright actually, no problem at all." leo said

"but.." miku said, tears about to fall

"hahh.. Its no matter at all. As long as they dont ruin or mess up my life right now." leo said

"ok then.. But what is that about the atlantean treasure and stuff? Even dad and mom wont even tell me." miku said

"there are things in this world, that you are better off not knowing miku." leo said, with a touch on her shoulder

"oh yeah, dad also said to give you a message." miku said, just remembering something

"and what is that?" leo said

"welcome back hero, thats all." miku said

"i see. No worries there, and you may go now." leo said, before she understood and walked away. "it seems that either they welcome me back, or its just a plain greeting."

"hello leo, can you come here for a sec? We have a bit of a problem." brian said

"alright, im now going there." leo said, before he enters the gymnasium

Then as leo enters the gym, there was many chatter all around from the people.

"leo, we have a problem.." lica said, as the girls are viewing a computer, and as leo just got there

As the girls were all viewing the computer, those who are present were also alba and hera.

"whats the matter?" leo said

"better take a look there." brian said, as he pointed to the computer

As leo views the computer, the votes were in, and leo won, even though he didnt campaign for anything.

"what?! How did this happen?!" leo shouted in surprise, to the computer

"isnt the voting system of this school electronic?" sheryl said

"yes, its all done electronically, and through a phone app that students also use as their handbook for the school." hera said, confused

"and the students were all assembled here, as per protocol, to prevent any sort of interferrence." alba said, also confused

"all except outside interferrence." leo said, with a face palm. "to think they would also resort to this." he added

"just who did this leo?" hera said, as everyone was curious

"if i would say the illuminati, would you guys believe me?" leo said

"we would.." the girls said, and agreed

"whats the illuminati?" hera said, as brian is also curious

"if ever they are really true, its better off you dont know." alba said, seriously

"for your own protection miss hera. They arent to be trifled with, as just knowing their existence would add you as a target for observation." leo said

"what?! If thats so, then why are you telling us now?" hera said

"this degree of exposure is only necessary, because by the time they knew a bit of my secret, you guys and this school itself, is already on the list for observation." leo said, as this surprised both hera and brian

"i can guarantee that as well, along with the principal also knowing it." alba said

"hey guys! Are the votes ready yet?" val said, as she arrived

"oh, and brian, you may also tell this to val if you want. No one else would believe us anyways, if we would tell them such an old name, filled with conspiracy." leo said seriously. "and can we just redo the voting process maam hera?" he added

"unfortunately, no. Even if we might have been hacked. Thats how the system works nowadays." hera said

"and if we redo the voting it will still take a while." alba said, as leo had no choice but to agree, and was to walk towards the stage

"wait leo, what is this secret that we ought to know about?" brian said, curious

"that im the reincarnation of kevin yu, one of the most decorated heroes in history, specially in the krood wars." leo said, seriously, before walking to the stage

Later, he then goes towards the stage..

"greetings to everyone. As there was a difficulty in the votes, we currently have me as the winner of this election, even if i didnt even put in my name as one of the candidates. So the question now, would everyone choose to redo the voting manually? Or would you accept me as the student council president? Please do comment or chat us on our social media site for your answer." leo said, before he goes down the stage

"there you go." leo said as he approaches them. "so, how long can our programmer debug or redo the programming for the votibg system?" he said to hera

"i think they would need about a day or so, but let us wait for all their replies." hera said

"got it.. Lets do both at the same time." leo said, and they all agree

While leo and the girls all wait for the comments, hera was busy coordinating with the programming team.

Then after a while of waiting..

"so, is the program ready?" leo said to hera

"yes, we may be ready." hera said, unsure

"and whats their response?" leo said to lica

"all are saying that you must give your best shot, since they dont want to redo the voting." lica said

"hahh.. Here i am, just promoted as the head of the disciplinary committee. Just how will i handle both?" leo said, worried

"i know you can do both leo, how about giving it a try?" brian said

"i know i can, but the time i will have with the girls will be lessened by so much. So i must choose one." leo said, with regret, as brian now understands

"leo, we are all with you, whatever you may decide." lica said, supportingly, as the girls also agree

"alright then, i will decide to be the student council president, and give my current position to brian." leo said, giving his armband to brian

"wait, what? You are just giving it--" brian said, but was cut off

"there is no one else i could entrust this job, other than you, my rival." leo said, with a smile

"damn it leo!" brian said, before accepting the armband, and with all the girls around applauding

"and of course, you will now have to select your own team to lead, because we are definitely going with leo." lica said, as she and the girls walk to leos side

"dont worry about that lica, i know i can manage." brian said, with confidence, and with val walking beside him

"well then, off i go, and do my speech." leo said, before he goes back on stage
