The downsides. [Arc 12 end]

I wish I knew what I was getting myself into when I talked with Kuze-kun for the first time. Him being a muscle head had its downsides too.

As I peeked through the classroom when I was going by the hallway to reach my classroom the next day, I saw Kuze-kun patiently reading the light novel that I suggested. "I guess he did actually buy the novel..." I felt a bit happy that someone is reading a book I suggested. I wanted to ask him how the novel was as I was hoping my suggestion wouldn't let him down, but I couldn't just go to him and ask him.

I was hoping he would keep my name a secret, but Kuze-kun had other plans.

"Hey Kuze-kun, what are you reading?" Some girls approached him, curious that the energetic Kuze was now peacefully sitting on his bench reading a novel.

"Oh this?" He closed the book and showed the cover to them. "This a sports novel. I didn't know anti-red anti-key had light novels, so I was excited to read this."

"A new hobby, huh?" the boy in front of him looked back at Kuze. "Seems nice to find a new hobby.

"Actually..." Kuze's face brightened as he wore a smile. "Miko-san was the one who suggested me this."

"Ehhh?" The girls looked at each other in awe and disbelief. "That introverted and composed Miko-san? I thought she disliked talking to others."

"She is actually pretty nice." The girls were unable to absorb the light he was emitting.

"But when did you ever talk to her?" The boy sitting in front of him asked. "I have never seen you talk to someone like her.

"The previous class." He replied. "During lunch break." He seemed idiotic at the fact that they forgot when he left the crowd to chase after her.

"So when you left amongst that many people, you went to visit her?" The boy in front of him seemed interested in the topic now, when he was previously aloof from the conversation. "Having a crush or something?"

Kuze blushed. "W-wait n-no! This isn't like that!! I just went to apologise!"

"Apologise for what? That you couldn't spend time with you precious lover? Ehh?" He teased him even more. While the girls stood silently, watching the conversation. At first it was okay as they though Miko just gave him a light novel suggestion, but seeing Kuze's reaction the envy grew stronger in their hearts...
