Chapter 04

The zombie had just overtaken Kurao with disconcerting ease, he broke his feet while trying to brake, crashing to the ground his body started to ricochet, thus moving him away from Kurao who was stopped looking at him with fear. 

"What the hell? This zombie is so fast he can't control his speed, mom and the one from the attic look like slugs in front of him. If other zombies like him show up I'll I'm done for," he said to himself, his face filled with fear and dread. 

The broken limbs of the zombie were already growing back, Kurao was overwhelmed as he looked to the right and left he had not seen any zombie, in the distance he saw a house on fire, all the zombies that were near the house were burning. The lightning zombie had just gotten up, its limbs had grown back, it was 15 meters from kurao. 

“This zombie represents a real threat to me, not only for its speed it can also call its peers with its cry I have no other choice than to eliminate it here and now” he said to himself with a determined look . 

The zombie launched at full speed, he had reduced his speed so as not to overtake Kurao, he displayed the posture of a baseball bat while waiting for the zombie with firm feet.

CHAPTER 04: WAS THIS REALLY A NATURAL PHENOMENON OR WAS IT THE WORK OF MEN? 

The zombie arrived at full speed, Kurao waited until the zombie was close enough to him to hit him with all his strength. PAF! The zombie's head had literally exploded due to the shock generated by the blow of Kurao's bat. The zombie's body had fallen to the ground, Kurao believing he had won wanted to distribute it, it was then that he noticed that the zombie's head was starting to regenerate. 

"But what's the problem with this zombie? Even when decapitated, he continues to regenerate, is this will just to eat me or is it an integral part of their organism? Regardless, I have to put an end to him. " Kurao said to himself while crouching down near the head of the zombie who was found under the light of a street lamp. 

Kurao was surprised to see the zombie's skin tone. 

"His skin is blue! He is completely different from the one I saw after I woke up... That would mean that there are variations and that everyone has their own characteristics! " He thinks suddenly afraid. 

It was then that his mother, who was tied up in the office of his house, came to his mind. 

"I couldn't see the color of mom's skin, because of the darkness... I will never be able to save mom if there are several variations of zombies... I have to study them all to give myself the best chance on my side, but first I have to get rid of this zombie. " He thinks while breathing to relieve the stress. 

The rain had started to fall, Kurao had eliminated the zombie then he returned home. He was locked with his mother who had become a zombie in the office, he had barricaded the broken window, he was lying near the door. 

"Hey, mom is also blue, to save my skin I killed this man in cold blood using mom as an excuse... I'm just a murderer" he thinks before starting to cry. 

The zombie from the attic had stayed in Kurao's room, at daybreak Kurao had left the office, he went to the kitchen he took all the canned food then he returned to the office to eat. After eating he looked for his mother's phone which must have been in his mother's bag, he went to see it in his car, when he saw 5 zombies sleeping, 3 had blue skin and the other two had a gray skin. 

"They're sleeping... That means he wakes up because of the noise! Yesterday after I woke up I kept calling mom, she woke them up" he said before lifting his head to look Heaven. 

- two moons... He whispers looking at the sky, just after he returned to his house. 

Kurao had gone up to his laboratory, he was sitting on the only chair in the lab, when he turned on his mother's phone he realized that the date was identical to that on his phone. 

"The date, it's identical to that on my phone, it can't be a coincidence... So would that mean that I went back in time?" He asks himself in surprise. 

That's when he sees the date on his paper calendar again. 

"Impossible, I can't have gone back in time, the banners planned for 2020 are still there and the date on my paper calendar had not changed when I woke up... If it wasn't me who went back in time is it the planet that would have done it? " He wonders, scratching his head. 

- if this continues I will end up going crazy. He said sighing. 

After being connected to the internet, Kurao navigates while looking for videos from June 30, 2019, Kurao stopped on a video whose thumbnail was two moons, he clicks on it. 

“It’s huge, after the Northern Lights, the solar eclipse and the earthquake, there is a second moon which has just appeared before our eyes!” exclaims the one who filmed the video

- I didn't learn anything from this video. He said while looking for other videos. 

After 1 hour he ends up coming across a video from the same date which lasts 1 hour. The video begins when the Northern Lights appear in the sky. "It's magical" said the person filming, 3 minutes later there was a solar eclipse, the planet was plunged into absolute darkness. 

“Damn, I have dust in my eyes!” he exclaimed 7 minutes after the solar eclipse. 

20 minutes later the earth was still in darkness as the ground started to shake "what the hell is this, an earthquake now?" he exclaimed in a terrified voice. 

5 minutes later the earthquake had ended to let the wind which had just picked up, while the wind blew, a shrill noise was produced, the sound was a mixture of the noise produced by an airplane engine and that of the cry uttered by the gray-skinned zombies. The strange noise and the wind had lasted 10 minutes, it had now been 40 minutes since all this had started, the light started to return 5 minutes later (after the strange sound) the solar eclipse had ended, while people thought it was over a sentence crosses the surroundings "there are two moons!" the one who filmed had directly raised his phone towards the sky filming the two moons. 
"What the hell is this? The time on my phone has been changed!" He exclaimed in a terrified voice, his hands starting to shake as he listened to those nearby who were also saying that the date of their phones had been modified. 5 minutes after the appearance of the second moon, people started to faint, that's when he filmed his left hand and saw black blood, everyone who had fainted was relieved 1 minute later later their skins had completely turned blue, their teeth had become black, one of them was thrown at the person who was filming the event and devoured him. The video had ended, Kurao got up from the chair and then headed towards the small attic window, through the window he looked at the sky. 

"First the Northern Lights, followed by a solar eclipse, dust in the eyes, an earthquake... The wind blowing, a shrill sound identical to those of the zombies that I heard screaming mixed with the sound of an airplane reactor then two moons without forgetting the black blood... was it really a natural phenomenon? Or is it the man who caused it? " He thinks, looking into the sky. 

He leaves near the window and opens the trapdoor to come down from the attic. 

"I can now say that this is indeed an interdimensional trip, the phenomena occurring are in no way natural" he thinks while walking down the corridor on the first floor. 

He stops abruptly in front of the stairs. 

- I know where I need to go to clarify everything. He whispers, smiling.
