Only happy endings

It's been a little over a year since Lizzy and Alex started dating. Lizzy didn't really move out after she was recovered. She tried but she would end up falling asleep nine out of ten times at Alex's. Alex didn't really want to send her home before she fell asleep either.

Alex was a bit ambitious to propose to Lizzy on their first Christmas together. With some miracle for Alex he didn't faint when she said yes. Lizzy planned a June wedding. To be honest Stacy held up options for Lizzy to pick since Lizzy came begging for Stacy's help.

Now today's the day they get married. There is a big white tent set up by the barns because Lizzy was adamant that's where they got married. The warm breeze was starting to carry in a light rain from the distance. Lizzy and Alex are both filled with joy and flustered nerves of being infront of everyone.

Alex is in a nice dark kimono that his Grams said was a family tradition. Lizzy walks down the isle in a beautiful white kimono with pink Sakura accents. Alex picked out a ruby and gold ring to match her necklace she got when she first came here. She got him a gold one to match hers. They both agreed that their line of work is hard on rings so they will get a tattoo ring later on.

There were lots of happy tears and sad tears. Tiger, Jaff, Ray, Jay and Angel were all there with their chickens as their plus ones. Angel did bring a pretty brunette with him too. Tate, Stephen, and Dragon all showed up with the college kids. Hitohito was there as Stacy's plus one. Lizzy made a few new friends at college that were invited. Alex introduced her to his one and only friend from highschool named Twighlight. They met a few months before the wedding. He is a shorter husky guy with glasses and brown buzzed cut hair that had a streak of silver on the side above his ear.

Twighlight was Alex's best man for the wedding. Stacy not only was the maid of honor but Lizzy's hair and makeup artist. Jay made a huge finely detailed wedding cake. 

The diner was about to begin when the rain started to lightly drizzle down outside the tent. Lizzy and Alex are sitting at the head table. Lizzy has orange juice and Alex has something stronger in his glass.

"You know it's you're wedding. No one will bat an eye if you drink a little." Alex whispers in Lizzy's ear.

"Uhh, I can't drink." Lizzy whispers back.

"No one's going to run to the authorities because you're not legal age. It's our day, they wouldn't ruin it." Alex tries to reassure her.

"Alex." She looks him dead in the eye. "I CAN NOT drink."

He processes her words for a minute.

"Wait." He looks her in shock.

Lizzy looks up at him with a small grin.

"You mean?"

"Yup."

Alex gives her a big kiss and the crowd goes wild. They didn't over hear their conversation but kissing is always welcomed at a wedding. Alex touches his forehead to hers.

"I'm so happy right now." He whispers.

"Me too hunny. Me too." She whispers happy she is with him.

"I just hate to ruin a happy moment." Karen pops up behind them. "But can I tell them the story of when Lizzy was recovering and she fell in the shower. Then you almost passing out from seeing skin when you went to go save her?"

"NO!" Lizzy and Alex yell at Karen.

"Thanks for saying yes! I will go do that!" Karen takes off. Lizzy starts chasing her down.

Lizzy is slowly taking classes for a veterinarian degree. Her main job is to run farm tours for the schools. She also got a teaching certificate so she holds a few agricultural based classes year round. Thankfully the pay is well. Along with Karen still helps her out to this day. Lizzy enjoys what she is doing so the veterinarian classes are more for knowledge. 

Alex is more of a stay at home father unless someone volunteers to watch the kids. Then the man books it to the farm office to indulge in Soleil repairs. Lizzy did her best over the years to move her schedule around so he has one full day every week where he can get out of the house. 

"Moooooooom!" Yells a red hair little girl running at full force towards Lizzy. Kicking up dust from the road between the barns at her work.

Lizzy scoops up her running child into her arms. She gives her a big hug. Lizzy smiles at Alex walking up to her holding onto their five month old baby boy named Kevin and the two year old girl named Cora that enjoys being carried. 

"Hi hunny." He says rather tired.

"Hard day?" Lizzy giggles.

"Why did they have to get your feral side." He gives her a kiss.

"Pretty sure it's your stubborn side." Lizzy teases, rubbing her nose against his.

"Ewwwww mommy and daddy are grooooooossssss." Trixie their five year old daughter yells.

"I'm here to save you Trix!" Gramps yells while in a super hero pose. Gramps is still aging well. 

Trix squirms free from Lizzy. Cora leaps from Alex's arms to run to her great grandpa. Kevin bounces in Alex's arms ready for Gramps to hold him. Gramps carries Kevin after hugging the girls.

"Should we head to Great Grams and Gramps house kids?" Lizzy asks.

The kids and Gramps all cheer loudly and start heading for the station. Lizzy and Alex follow hand in hand.

"I'm looking forward to having a drink with you tonight. On our date without kids." Alex says happily.

"Funny story." Lizzy shyly grins.

"Work?" His facial expression fades to disappointment.

"Not that. It's a... I can't drink." Lizzy finally tells him.

"Wait what? I thought we were being careful!" Alex looks at her in disbelief.

"Apparently not you horn-" Karen pops up from no where.

"Karen! The kids are still nearby!" Lizzy snaps. Karen looks at Gramps and the kids that were 100 yards away in the distance.

"No they aren't! Now let me call him a horn-" Lizzy starts chasing Karen before she could finish her sentence.

Lizzy and Alex dropped the kids off at Grams and Gramps house. As always they are happy to see each other. They break the news that Lizzy is pregnant again. Grams and Gramps are more than happy. 

The two love birds make their way to a restaurant for their date. And somehow run into Stacy and Hitohito. They just got married a year ago. They were on their way to meet up with others so they didn't get to talk long. 

Keeping in contact with everyone is a bit difficult but they do get together when they can. Everyone is either chasing their dream or making their dream bigger once they catch it. 

Angel made it big and has hired Tiger as a private pilot. Ray isn't a starving artist but is happy with his art community and husband. Jaff is still taking classes to get a masters degree in counseling. Soon he will be a "doctor". Jay opened his own bakery after his cake went viral from Lizzy's wedding. They all enjoy being the doting uncle on top of their busy schedules. None of them have ever missed one of the kid's birthdays. And Jay makes sure the kids cake is over the top.

Tate, Stephen and Dragon all are still figuring out things. Chasing after relationships and possible jobs. Dragon did become a manager at an ice cream shop though and finally got to try all the flavors. Tate with his extrovert personality has taken on various jobs centered around meeting people. Lately he is a traveling journalist. Stephen is going with the flow as always. 

Stacy works at a salon after graduating beauty school. Her clientele all love her and she is always booked. Hitohito got a teaching certificate and teaches at the highschool. They have talked about kids recently and are leaning towards adoption.

"You have been lost in thought tonight dear." Alex's voice brings Lizzy back to the present.

"Just thinking of how far we have all come." She smiles at him.

"Who would have thought we would have ended up here." He smirks. "Just think you hated me at first."

"I found it fun to mess with you. Pretty sure you hated me for it." Lizzy grins.

"I would be lying if I said you didn't get to me some days." He smiles and looks at his drink. 

"But you love me." Lizzy gives him a big cheesy grin.

"I do so very much." He looks back up at her with a smile, his eyes are kind.

"Yay!" Lizzy tries mimicking Cora's little excited yay's she makes.

"Pfft!" Alex laughs. "You're happy right?"

"More than you know." She smiles.
