Chapter 13

"are we there yet mr ben?" said a girl, sitting in a car, very nervous

There was a small caravan of 5 different cars, which was running from something, running from the krood which were chasing them.

"no, not yet im afraid. But we are almost there!" ben stran said, as he was driving the car into the forest

"just how long is that almost?!" said the girl again, now very nervous, as the krood is slowly reaching to them

The krood was now getting really near, as the cars has all now gone almost top speed.

"ben, im afraid i wont be able to join you guys. But at least, i might be able to rejoin my wife in heaven." said the comms, from the rear car, before he stopped the car

"no! Dont--" ben said, before they heard an explosion behind them. "tch!" he said as he could only curse under his breath

"hey! Tell me whats really going on now?!" the girl said again, now afraid

"its for the security protocol young miss. We cant do anything about it." ben said, as he only focuses on his mission

"if im gonna die, i will die with honor!" the comms from the 2nd rear car was heard, before it also stopped. "for the emperor!" he said, before the car explodes again

"oh god." the girl said, as she could only pray for safety, amidst her ow helplessness

"damn it! How can they really fly real fast?!" the comms from the car right behind them said, before he too stopped to just explode

"please do tell me, on why are they risking their lives for me?!" the girl said, now crying over her helplessness

"young miss, i can answer that. But first! Please hold on!" ben said, before he picked up the comms. "all remaining troops! Lets pedal to the medal!"

"yes sir!" said the car in front, all before they now speed up even more

They were now almost drifting on the road, all while still being chased by them.

"oh god! Please!" the girl said again

"young miss! Dont speak while im driving! You might bite your tongue!" ben said while driving

Then something unexpected happened, that the next thing she knew, she was upside down with some blood dropping from her face. Then as she couldnt quite hear her background, she instead saw men fighting outside, and killed.

"ahhh!" she screamed upon the splash of blood on the ground, before she hurries to unfasten herself

As she unfastened herself, she then went to the other side of the car, in order to run away. But it was futile, as when she was already halfway out, a krood was now in front of her.

"no! Dont kill me! No!" she desperately pleaded to the krood, in vain, as the krood was lifting her upwards

Face to face, she now faces the very ugly face of the krood, as she cries and wets herself in fear. Until she saw a bullet pass through the kroods head, and they fell to the ground.

"are you alright?" the man in armor said to her, before she nods. "stay here! Or stay hidden!" he said, before a group of armored people also came

The girl was also speechless, as the armored people were now all fighting around her, and surrounding her, all before she was carried by the guy in armor who first came to her rescue, flying back towards safety.

Then back at the stronghold, where it was occupying all the krood going into it by killing it with a laser grid barrier..

"who are you?" the girl said, all curious on who he really is

"lets say, im just an ordinary soldier who came to your aid." the armor guy said, as they were about to land

"but--" she said, before she was cut off, as they have now landed

"young miss! Im glad you arrived!" ken said, he and other soldiers now surround her and put a towel around her

"wait! Just who is.." she said, before leo took off his mask

"like i said, im just another soldier. In any case, you must go now young miss." leo said

"at least, let me know your name!" the girl said, who is really grateful

"the name is leo, and im just doing what i need to do." leo said, with a smile

Before she could really say anything else, she was taken away by the other female soldiers, and accompanied by the 2 generals.

Meanwhile, 30 minutes before the event, on the next day..

"sir, i have both good and bad news!" loid said, as he rushed towards the observation room

Leo and the 2 generals were now a bit occupied, with the current state of the world, where they were working together with other world leaders in long distance.

"what is it?" cedric said, a bit annoyed

"which one would you like? Good or bad? Eitherway, we will have to hurry." loid said

"just tell it to us mr loid." leo said, sighing

"we have intercepted a radio help frequency, which they are currently heading here!" loid said

"what?! No one should have known our location!" cedric said

"but thats the thing.. The transmission says that the convoy is bringing some hope to the people!" loid said

"just get to the point!" ken said, now also annoyed

"meaning that the last in line for the throne, a child of the emperor, is coming here!" loid said

"what?!" ken said, as they all were surprised

"so, what of the bad news?" leo said, as he quickly noticed his haste

"bad news is.. They are being chased by the krood!" loid said

"my god! You should have said so earlier!" leo said, before he rushes to the door. "generals, have this place in red alert! Im going for a bit!"

"where are you going leo?! We arent finished here--" cedric said, before he was cut off

"im gonna go save a life!" leo said, before he looks at loid. "lead me to where the armor is being held!" he said, as loid agrees

Before anyone else could agrue with him, they then rush towards the armory, where the armor is being kept.

"whoa.. So you guys mass produced this?!" leo said, admiring the newly finished armor

"yeah, but it currently has about 7 sets of armors. So, what are you gonna do about it sir leo?" loid said

"im gonna save lives with it." leo said, before they opened the container unit of the armor. "have some men accompany me now! We are going hunting this season." leo said, as loid agrees

Then back to the present..

"leo! I cant believe you just rushed there! Into the battlefield! We cant have our leader just die like that!" ken said, as leo was still in the locker room, changing back

"and whats more, you will have children soon!" loid said, as he also was changing back to his uniform

"you are one to talk! I cant believe you two!" ken said, frustrated

"hahh.. Everyone was fine right? And we all returned. Thats what matters." leo said, as he finished changing back

"is that really the attitude of a leader?!" ken said

"yes, i believe so too general." the girl said, as she opened the door

"uhh.. Who are you? This is the guys changing room though." loid said

"sorry, forgot to introduce myself. Im yamamura yuki, or better known as hashira yuki, the last princess of neo japan." she said, introducing herself

"princess?!" loid said, before they all then bowed

"you all should raise your head. Specially you, sir leonardo. I was informed that you are now the leader of the illuminati." yuki said

"yes, he is now. So what can we do for you today young miss?" ken said

"I have come here for one reason, which is also a royal decree by my father, the emperor." yuki said

"wait, you have 2 names, why is that?" leo said

"my mother is a commoner, unlike the emperor. As she was also his secretary at the time." yuki said

"an illegitimate child huh.." loid said
