Chapter 6:

NYX Unbreakable will

Ethicos:Fate Of Universe

(In Past)

In a dimly lit chamber deep within the Supreme's Stronghold, Michel stood before a towering figure cloaked in dark robes. His face twisted with anger and desperation as he clenched his fists.

Michel: "Nyx humiliated me! I can't live with this shame. I need power—enough to crush him."

The Supreme smiled coldly, gesturing towards a pulsating black heart encased in a crystalline container. The heart throbbed ominously, its dark energy filling the room.

Supreme: "This is the Giant's Heart, a relic of immense power. With it, you could surpass any mortal. But it's no mere weapon—it chooses its user, and the price is high.".

Michel's eyes narrowed as he stepped closer to the heart.

Michel: "Price doesn’t matter. I want my revenge. Give it to me."

The Supreme tilted his head, studying Michel with amusement.

Supreme: "You aren't ready to wield it yet. But the heart can be bound to you. When the time comes, its power will be yours to command."

Michel hesitated for a moment, then nodded.

Michel: "Do it. Bind it to me."

The Supreme signaled to his assistants, who began a ritual. The Giant's Heart glowed with energy, and a thin tendril of black light extended from it, wrapping around Michel's wrist like a mark.

Supreme: "The bond is forged. When the moment is right, the heart will awaken for you. But remember, Michel—you now carry its burden. This power will demand a price, and you cannot escape it."

Michel clenched his marked wrist, feeling a surge of dark energy flow through him.

Michel: "I don’t care about the price. All I care about is destroying Nyx."

The Supreme's voice grew colder.

Supreme: "Then serve me, and I will ensure you face him when the time is right. Use the heart wisely, or it may consume you."

Michel's lips curled into a cruel smile as he turned away, his thoughts burning with hatred for Nyx.

Michel: "He won’t know what’s coming. He’ll regret ever crossing me."

As he left the chamber, the Giant’s Heart pulsed faintly in its container, waiting for the moment its true power would be unleashed.

(In Present)

In the heart of the burning city, the air was thick with smoke and chaos. Nyx and his group arrived, their faces etched with horror as they took in the devastation—houses engulfed by flames, people screaming in panic, and cries for help echoing everywhere.

A man staggered toward them, his body burned and bloodied. His trembling hand reached out as he spoke in a broken voice.

Man: "Please... my family... help..."

Nyx quickly knelt beside him, gripping his arm gently.

Nyx: "Hold on. We'll help you. Just stay with me."

The man's gaze lingered on Nyx for a moment, filled with fleeting hope. But his body suddenly went limp, his life slipping away.

Nyx froze, staring at the lifeless figure in his arms. The group stood in stunned silence.

Eris clenched her fists, her voice shaking with anger.

Eris: "We couldn’t save him... We failed."

Astra wiped her misty eyes.

Astra: "How many more are suffering like this?"

Naomi shook her head, looking away.

Naomi: "This destruction... it’s too much."

Avelina gritted her teeth, her voice barely above a whisper.

Avelina: "I feel useless. We should have been faster."

Eliza crossed her arms, her expression tense.

Eliza: "This isn’t just a random attack. Whoever is behind this—I’ll make them pay."

Nyx carefully laid the man's body down, his hands trembling slightly.

Nyx: "We were too late for him. But we can’t let this happen to anyone else. We have to stop this."

Avelina stepped closer, her determination breaking through her sorrow.

Avelina: "You’re right, Brother. We can’t give up now."

Eliza looked at Nyx, her voice firm but with a hint of worry.

Eliza: "You saved me, Nyx. Let’s make sure no one else falls like this. Together, we’ll end this destruction."

Sana placed a steady hand on Nyx’s shoulder.

Sana: "We’re with you. Let’s move before it’s too late for anyone else."

With renewed determination, the group pressed forward, the cries of the city fueling their resolve to save as many as they could and uncover the truth behind the catastrophe.

As Nyx and his group moved deeper into the burning city, they stumbled upon creatures unlike any they had seen before—twisted forms with glowing blue eyes and dark, grotesque features prowled the streets, attacking helpless citizens.Nyx narrowed his eyes at the creatures and turned to Eris and Astra.

Nyx: "What are those things?".

Eris stepped forward, her expression dark.

Eris: "They’re low-ranking monsters from the Demon Monarch’s army."

Astra nodded, her tone grave.

Astra: "They belong to the Demon Monarch’s dark army. These are the weakest ones—blue-ranked."

The group exchanged shocked glances.

Naomi: "The Demon Monarch? Why are they attacking here?"

Avelina: "Blue-ranked... if these are the weakest, how strong are the others?"
Eris explained further.

Eris: "The Demon Monarch’s army has a ranking system: blue, green, yellow, red, white, and finally dark. The stronger the rank, the more dangerous they are tightened his grip on his sword, his jaw set.

Astra: "If these are blue-ranked, we need to prepare for worse. Let’s take them down and protect as many people as we can."

Eliza smirked, drawing her weapon.

Eliza: "Low-ranked or not, they’re still a threat. Let’s show them what we’re made of With determination burning in their hearts, the group prepared to face the creatures, ready to fight for the city and its people.

Nyx and his group made their way back to the restaurant where they had stayed the night before. Inside, the owner and diners huddled together in tense silence, with the sounds of destruction echoing faintly outside.

The elder spoke first, his voice weary.

Elder: "We’ve taken shelter here for safety. Those monsters came from outside the city, but the giant... it emerged from the City Hall."

The group exchanged grim looks.

Naomi: "City Hall... that explains why it was closed and heavily guarded before. The Supreme were conducting experiments there."

The owner nodded, his expression grim.

Owner: "Yes, they must have created the giant there. They’ve brought this destruction upon us."

Eris clenched her fists, her eyes burning with anger.

Eris: "So, the Supreme are responsible for this chaos. How could they sink so low?"

The elf, still as radiant as ever, smiled at Nyx despite the heavy atmosphere.

Elf: "You’re truly brave, risking yourself to help the city. Such a strong and kind hero..." She leaned in teasingly. "Maybe after this, we’ll celebrate properly. Just the two of us?"

Nyx flushed, stumbling over his words.

Nyx: "W-we’re focused on saving the city right now!"

Astra sighed, clearly annoyed, her voice sharp.

Astra: "He’s married. You should know that."

Eris crossed her arms, glaring.

Eris: "And yet she still flirts. Unbelievable."

The elder cleared his throat, bringing everyone back to focus.

Elder: "We must figure out how to stop this. The City Hall is clearly the source of the giant, but getting there will be dangerous."

Nyx nodded firmly, his blush fading into determination.

Nyx: "We’ll handle it. City Hall holds the key to ending this. Stay safe here, and we’ll do what we can."

The group left the restaurant, their resolve stronger than ever as they prepared to confront the chaos head-on.

As everyone inside the restaurant was deep in conversation, a deafening crash shook the building. The roof caved in, and several monstrous creatures descended into the room, roaring with menace.

Nyx immediately drew his sword, stepping forward.

"Everyone, prepare for battle! Protect the people!"

Eris summoned crackling dark energy around her. "Let no evil energy dare to interrupt as they'll regret it.".

Astra moved swiftly to help the injured, guiding them to safety.

"Stay close to me! We'll get you out of here!"

Noomi raised her hands, electricity sparkling as thunder magic surged. "No one threatens us and walks away unharmed."
Avelina unsheathed her sword, her eyes sharp and focused. "Let's clear them out quickly. They don't belong here."

Sana initially hurried to heal the wounded but froze when she saw Astra shielding people with her magic. Her eyes burned with determination. "If she can fight, so can I!"

She abandoned her healing and charged forward, conjuring her own magic to strike at the monsters.

The group worked together in perfect harmony. Nyx fought at the front, his blade cutting through the attackers with precision. Eris unleashed waves of dark energy, striking down monsters from a distance.

Naomi's thunder magic filled the air with crackling energy, disorienting their enemies.

Meanwhile, Avelina's swift swordplay kept any monster from reaching the injured. Sana, despite her usual role as a healer, impressed everyone with her fierce attacks, surprising even herself.

Nyx shouted, "Keep pushing forward! Protect everyone, no matter what!"

The monsters were strong, but the team's unity and skill overwhelmed them. As the last creature fell, the room grew silent except for the heavy breathing of the group.
Eris smiled, brushing dust from her cloak.

"That'll teach them not to mess with us."

Avelina grinned, wiping her blade.

"Mom, I didn't know you had it in you. Great work!

"Sana blushed slightly but smiled.

"I just wanted to help. We all did amazing..."The group took a moment to gather themselves, knowing the fight wasn't over. This was just the beginning.

The scene shifts to a flashback, revealing the humble beginnings of Nyx and his companions in this unfamiliar world. Avelina and Nyx walked into the city, wearing plain clothes and carrying simple iron swords. These were all they could afford, meant only for basic protection as they struggled to survive.

Avelina sighed, holding up her sword. "This is nothing special, but it'll have to do for now. One day, we'll wield weapons worthy of our strength."

Nyx nodded, determination in his eyes. "Until then, we'll make do and grow stronger. This world won't keep us down."The flashback shifts to Eris before her reincarnation. She is shown as a powerful goddess, her divine energy radiating as she observed the mortal realm. Sana and Naomi are seen training in elemental magic under her guidance, mastering fire and thunder spells.
Eris smiled at her students. "The power you wield is vast. Learn to control it, and you'll shape the destiny of this world."

Meanwhile, Avelina honed her physical skills, her swordplay becoming sharper with each swing. Nyx, however, was different. When he entered this world, he absorbed every skill, magic, and power it offered. This was not mere chance – Eris and Astra had seeded portions of their divine power within him, and even Eliza's dark energy had been locked in his soul.Eris watched Nyx closely. "You don't just carry strength, Nyx. You carry the potential to reshape reality itself. What you imagine can become real. That power... makes you extraordinary."

The flashback cuts to Nyx in a training session effortlessly mastering abilities others took years to learn. His companions watched in awe.

Sana gasped. "He's learning everything so quickly. Is there anything he can't do?"Naomi added, smirking. "If there is, I haven't seen it yet."

Eris and Astra, the goddesses of the world, stood by his side, offering their support. Even Eliza, that Vice Commander of the devil army, joined them, her loyalty growing as she fought alongside him.

Back in the present, the scene returns to the group standing before the elf and the city's people, who have witnessed their strength. The elf clapped her hands together, her voice filled with admiration.

"Nyx and his companions... you are beyond extraordinary. You're not just protectors – you're forces of nature!"

The townspeople nodded, their gratitude pouring forth.

An elder stepped forward, bowing deeply. "You have our eternal thanks. Your strength and unity give us hope against the darkness."

Nyx's companions exchanged looks, feeling the weight of the moment. Their journey had not been easy, but together, they had become an unstoppable force – one that even the dark armies of the demon monarch would struggle to face.Inside the restaurant, the atmosphere shifted dramatically after the battle. The people who had taken shelter there began to gather around Nyx and his group, their faces a mix of relief, admiration, and shock.

An old man, clutching his young daughter, approached hesitantly.

"Young ones, you actually defeated them. Those monsters, the dark army... How is that even possible?"Avelina leaned casually against a wall, her sword still in hand. "Possible? It's what we do. Protecting people comes naturally to us."

The owner of the restaurant stepped forward, her eyes wide with astonishment. "I've lived for centuries, but I've never seen anyone face the demon army and survive, let alone win. Who are you people?"Eris brushed the dust off her dress, her voice calm but firm. "We're here to do what's necessary – to stop the chaos and protect the innocent."

Naomi added with a teasing smile, "And to prove that demons aren't the only ones with power. Did you see Nyx in action? Not bad, huh?"

Nyx, still catching his breath, shook his head modestly. "This wasn't about proving anything. It was about saving lives. That's all."

The city elder, who had been hiding in a corner during the attack, approached Nyx with a trembling hand. "I thought we were doomed. No one has ever defeated the dark army before. You've done the impossible."

Sana, tending to a wounded child, looked up with a warm smile. "Impossible is just a word. With the right strength and heart, anything can be done."

Avelina chuckled and added, "And a good sword doesn't hurt either."

The elf, who had been observing quietly, stepped closer to Nyx and gave a sly smile. "You truly are something else, Nyx. Perhaps I underestimated you." She placed a hand on his arm, leaning in slightly. "Maybe next time, I can see more of you... talents."

Eris, catching the flirtatious tone, stepped in quickly, her eyes narrowing. "He's not available for private displays of talent. Stick to the gratitude.

"Eliza crossed her arms and smirked. "Looks like someone's getting jealous.

"Astra rolled her eyes but couldn't hide the faint blush on her cheeks.

"Enough. Let's focus on what's next. This is just the beginning."

The people in the restaurant clapped and cheered, their gratitude evident despite the destruction around them. For the first time, hope flickered in their eyes, and it was all thanks to Nyx and his companions.

As the group stood firm in the restaurant, the sound of heavy footsteps and guttural growls echoed through the broken roof. One by one, the monsters began to pour in, their grotesque forms illuminated by the flickering firelight from outside.

Nyx gripped his sword tightly, stepping forward as the first beast lunged toward him with sharp claws. With a swift strike, his blade gleamed through the air, severing the creature mid-attack. The monster collapsed in a heap, dissolving into black mist.

Before he could catch his breath, a second monster leaped from the shadows, aiming for Naomi. She raised her hands, summoning a surge of thunder magic. "Not today!" she shouted, releasing a bolt that struck the creature squarely in the chest, sending it crashing to the ground with a deafening roar.

Avelina, with her usual ferocity, dashed toward the next monster, her sword slicing through its thick hide. "These things just don't learn, do they?" she muttered, spinning to face another beast that had snuck up on her.

Sana, after healing an injured man, joined the fray. She conjured a burst of elemental magics, flames roaring to life around her hands. With speed and precision, she hurled the fireball at a monster charging toward Astra, engulfing it in flames. "Don't let your guard down, Astra!" Sana called out.

Astra nodded, her focus sharp. She summoned her own magic, a wave of shimmering ice that froze another monster in its tracks. With a flick of her hand, the ice shattered, taking the beast with it. "They're endless, but so are we," Astra said, her tone resolute.

Eliza, standing on a table for a better vantage point, unleashed a barrage of dark energy blasts at the monsters at once, disintegrating them.

"This is getting tedious," she remarked, glancing at Nyx.

"How many more do you think there are?

"Nyx, blocking an attack from yet another beast, smirked. "Doesn't matter. We'll take them all down."

Eris, her hands glowing with magical energy, unleashed a protective barrier around the civilians before turning her power on the monsters. "Stay focused! Protect the people first, then wipe out the rest!"

One by one, the monsters kept coming, and one by one, they were struck down. The group moved in perfect harmony, each member playing their part with precision and determination.

As the last monster collapsed to the ground, dissolving like the others, the restaurant fell silent. The group stood amidst the carnage, catching their breath.Avelina wiped her sword clean and smirked. "Is that all they've got?"

Naomi shrugged, lightning still crackling around her hands. "They sure know how to test our patience."

Nyx looked around at his companions, a small smile playing on his lips. "Good work, everyone. Let's make sure the area is secure before we rest."

With that, they prepared for whatever might come next, their resolve unshaken.

A knight rushed into a hidden chamber beneath the grand cathedral and knelt before the Supreme, whose identity was concealed beneath a dark hood. He reported everything – Nyx and his group had defeated the dark army and saved the city. The Supreme listened silently, hints of being the church father evident from his ornate robes and staff.

Medvilor, a sinister scientist, and several magicians flanked him. After a brief pause, the Supreme spoke coldly.

"We cannot let Nyx interfere. Prepare the giants."

Medvilor grinned wickedly. "As you wish, Supreme."

Plans were set, and the secret of the city hall remained at risk.

The Supreme handed Michel the cursed heart stone, his eyes gleaming with vengeance.

"Go, eliminate Nyx," the Supreme commanded.

Filled with rage and excitement, Michel eagerly set out toward the restaurant, determined to kill Nyx and prove his worth.

As Nyx and his group appreciated the gratitude of the townspeople, the knight arrived, along with Michel and a squad of demons, shocking Nyx.

Michel confronted Nyx. "Why are you doing this?"

Michel smirked. "For revenge," he said before commanding the demons to attack.Nyx and his companions quickly engaged in battle. Astra, despite her injuries, joined the fight. Eris and Naomi unleashed powerful magic, while Sana protected the townsfolk. Avelina and Eliza fought fiercely with their swords.

One by one, the demons fell. Michel watched in disbelief as Nyx's group defeated his army. The townsfolk stood amazed, realizing their saviors were truly extraordinary.

Seeing his monsters fall one by one, Michel clenched his fists in frustration. His eyes burned with rage, and in a twisted, psychotic tone, he shouted, "Enough! Nyx, face me one on one! If you dare!

"Nyx narrowed his eyes, stepping forward calmly. "If that's what you want, I'll accept. But don't regret it."

The atmosphere grew tense as the townspeople and Nyx's group watched, knowing this battle would decide everything.

Michel, consumed by frustration and rage, increased his strength unnaturally and attacked Nyx with his cursed weapon. Nyx blocked the blow, and a fierce duel began. Despite Michel's wild aggression, Nyx maintained his composure, countering every strike with skill.

"You're losing control, Michel," Nyx said as he deflected another heavy blow. In a final, desperate move, Michel poured all his power into a cursed attack, but Nyx blocked it with a powerful glowing energy, breaking through the curse and stunning everyone.
Nyx then drove his blade deep into Michel's stomach. In pain and desperation, Michel pulled out the giant heart stone and activated it. Dark energy surged through him. "Michel... what are you doing?" Nyx muttered, watching as Michel began to transform, his body growing unnaturally large. The stone's power overwhelmed him, and soon, it was no longer Michel in control, but the stone itself.

His body, now a monstrous giant, moved chaotically. In a pained, unconscious voice, Michel could only mutter fragments, "Nyx... revenge..." before falling silent, his mind overtaken by the stone's curse. Nyx and the group stood in shock, realizing Michel was already lost – his body alive, but his soul seemingly gone.

"We have to stop him," Eris said firmly, her magic ready. "That thing isn't Michel anymore."

Michel, now a giant controlled by the cursed heart stone, began destroying the city, crushing buildings and spreading chaos. People ran in fear as flames engulfed the streets.

"We have to stop him now!" Astra shouted, readying her sword.Eris prepared her magic while Naomi summoned lightning. Sana rushed to protect civilians, and Avelina drew her blade.

Nyx stepped forward, eyes locked on the rampaging giant.

"Michel, even if you've lost control, I'll save you." With unwavering resolve, he led the group into battle.

As Michel transformed into a towering giant, he momentarily regained a sliver of consciousness. His wild eyes caught sight of the elf who had previously intrigued Nyx. Driven by rage and the influence of the cursed heart stone, he reached out and grabbed her, holding her tightly in his massive hand.

"Stay back, or she dies!" Michel roared in a distorted voice, his grip tightening around the frightened elf.

"Let her go, Michel!" Nyx shouted, stepping forward with a determined glare.

Astra and Eris prepared their magic while Avelina and Naomi readied their weapons. "We can't risk her life," Eris whispered to Nyx. "We need a plan."

The elf struggled in Michel's grip, her voice trembling. "Nyx, please..."

Nyx clenched his fists, thinking quickly. "Michel, don't let that cursed power consume you!" But Michel, lost in madness, only tightened his grip further, ready to crush his hostage.

"We can't wait any longer," Astra said urgently. "We need to act before it's too late."
