Birth Of Aether - Prologue

1000 years ago, the world went through a second big bang, but it was different it was a big bang in name and name alone. That was until days after this event when people started to develop powers, superhuman abilities of all kinds.

People decided to call these powers aether after one of the old gods of legend said to have protected the world from chaos and so this event became known as the birth of aether.

People though were not the only lifeforms to develop abilities the animals of the world also obtained these abilities and became known as aether beasts.

To combat these aether beasts, civilisation joined together and formed guilds. The five great guilds that united mankind each took a corner of the continent to build new cities capable of defending themselves from the aether beasts.

These five guilds would later build these cities into the five great nations of today.

Echilia the nation of advancement is a nation filled with the continents most talented scholars with the aim of furthering the land’s technology. The nation of Echilia is ruled by the Meka family, which is also head of the Meka guild, the only of the five original guilds that still stand as the rest disbanded in the name of building their nations.

Mithhar the nation of myths and legends is home to the great forest. The great forest of Mithhar is the lair of roughly 60% of the continent's aether beasts. Mithhar is the leading nation in the research of aether and how it works. The nation of Mithhar is currently ruled by the Olym family

Faynora the nation of trade is a nation full of agriculture and wealth as they supply every nation with food and other goods. Faynora is also known as the nation of the people due to the fact that the nation has no single family ruling it but instead the head of each of the craftsmen, merchants and farmers guilds respectively rule the nation together.

Alvisia nation of peace is the nation that introduced the ranking system for aethers and classified them into the combat, defence and support. Alvisia is also the nation that introduced the judiciary system of the new world now with aether in mind and act as peacekeepers. They are ruled by the Judic family.

And finally, Witonia the nation of warriors is the most respected nation due to the the original guilds leader's feats at the dawn of aether against the beasts that had gained power. Witonia like Alvisia also came up with the ranking system but not for the people but for the beasts that they were to fight. The ruler is the current day decedents of the original guild leader.
