Lepoglava

The Lupus's vessel approached the Lepoglava Space Station and they were greeted by the JNA (Yugoslav People's Army) and were allowed to board the station, the commander in charge was Momir Momčilović as Admiral Stevenson said. Lupus explained their situation and journey to the commander and he intently listened.

The commander offered to help in any way he could, a kindhearted old man, who has seen the worst of war now works on this peaceful station that explores the Kufiri nebula with a team of researchers.

Since the space station was equipped with long-range communication, the first thing the commander wanted to do was find out whether there was a coup on Nova Occasio? If there was they certainly weren't going to contact Nova Occasio and tell them that the kids had been found.

Through the commander's channels, they confirmed the president of Nova Occasio was still Micki, and Lupus had gotten into a direct call with the president soon after. President Micki had told them about all of the events that had transpired while they were away.

On the day of their departure, President Micki was scheduled to hold a video call and meeting with the Soviet Union's General Secretary, during their call, the USSR's leader had told President Micki about a very important discovery. The KGB through its information channels had found out about a plot to overthrow the government on Nova Occasio. The organization behind the conspiracy was the Green Dawn, a mysterious cult.

The KGB wasn't able to dig up the full details of the plan but they were able to find out a list of several potential names and a few of their secret meeting spots.

Right after the call, President Micki instituted a state of emergency, the police raided their secret bases and arrested anybody suspected of being involved in this organization, while the army moved in to protect the parliament building.

Defense Minister Celio was discovered to be behind this organization and was put under house arrest along with a demand from the army to quietly resign from his position. During the interrogations by the police of its members, many details remained unclear. How were they going to implement this coup and for what reason, the members were all silent during their interrogations.

The entire Dominion was at a tense standstill, they weren't aware of the troubles Lupus, Ovis, and Serpens were facing, they were under the belief that all of the students were safely completing their initiation exams.

Apparently, Celio had hoped that once the news of the bombing got out, public opinion would turn in his favor and he would still lead the revolution. This idea was pure delusion since most of the public on Nova Occasio wasn't even aware he was on house arrest or of any coup attempt, most citizens were fearful because of so much police and military presence on the streets. Because of a gag order on the media put in by Micki, the public was in the dark about all of the drama, and they would be until every part of the conspiracy was uncovered.

Now that Lupus had come in contact with the president, and relayed all their experiences and discoveries to him, the final piece of the puzzle was completed. President Micki called on the kids to return home and Lupus was happy that this hell was finally over.

A Solatium corporation ship arrived at the Lepoglava Space Station, with warp speed the ship took an hour to get from Nova Occasio to the station. The arriving ship brought repair men and they fixed the broken warp drive Lupus had and with that, the kids could come home. They were seen off by the JNA commander and Lupus set a course for Nova Occasio.

Arriving back on Nova Occasio they were greeted as war heroes by the rest of the army and the press, their tale of bravery and ingenuity in the face of such a difficult situation was widely celebrated. They were awarded several medals by the president and they were cleared with top marks for all of their future practical exams. All Lupus had to do was finish their school year and they were going to have bright careers ahead of them in the army.

It would take a bit of time for the students to adjust back to normal life after the high stress and trauma they endured. Soon they were back in the classroom as if nothing had ever happened with a new instructor. While they were cleared of practical exams, the school year was still ahead of them.

What fate came upon the Green Dawn and its members?

Celio, his wife, and 15 other people in leadership positions within the cult were given the death penalty in closed trials to the public and they were killed by firing squad. Celio had his name removed from all history books, with no mention of his military record or his achievements as a pioneer. His pictures in state institutions were taken down and destroyed, and his service as defense minister was also deleted. His existence was wiped from all places where it was possible.

Celio's military academy was renamed into Mok's military academy, Mok was given a state funereal and awarded the highest honors by the state. For his brave sacrifice to his students, the school would bear his name. Why he was chosen instead of the other two, also dead, instructors on Hrkar remains unclear.

The rest of the Green Dawn was sent to the Carcer prison for an indefinite amount of time to do hard labor. If they showed good behavior, the President might give certain individuals amnesty and reintegrate them into society. Three thousand people suspected of being tied to Green Dawn were arrested and sent to prison in the police raids.

While some had been genuine members and zealots, a lot of the arrested were either family members of the cultists or some were simply caught in the wrong place and at the wrong time and thus were innocent. The government did not conduct fair and open trials, instead quick sessions of forced confessions and off to the labor camp. It wanted this incident under the rug and forgotten.

And so like many dramatic historic events, plenty of innocents had their lives destroyed in the crossfire. The state of emergency, the bombing incident, and this whole ordeal quickly vanished from the public's memory.
