The grappling hooks were embedded in the wall of the meteorological center, Kurao had used it to gain height while going up, he threw the second shuriken at the first, when the two shurikens came into contact an explosion was created. BOOM! a crater of approximately 1 meter was formed in front of the entrance to the meteorological center. Kiyoko was surrounded by 3 lightning zombies, she couldn't react they were much too fast for her, when she thought everything was over, she saw the 3 zombies being split in the stomach by Kurao with a circular katana blow .

CHAPTER 12: WHERE ZOMBIFICATION COMES FROM

- You have nothing? Kurao asks in a soothing voice while extending his right hand to Kiyoko. 

- Yes . She replied softly, taking Kurao's hand. 

It was then that Kiyoko saw Kurao lit up that she felt embarrassed by the latter. 

“I am nothing but a burden for him, seeing him fight I realize how deep his desire to save his mother is, unlike me who gave up, he never gave up.. . I can only imagine what he went through to get to this level” she thinks with a depressed face. 

- why are you pulling this kiyoko face? Kurao asks him in a worried manner.

- out of the 300 zombies present you managed to kill 30 alone, that proves how strong you are, kiyoko doesn't doubt you. He told her with a smile. 

These simple words were enough to restore Kiyoko's confidence, Kurao had managed to eliminate 70 zombies, so that was 100 zombies eliminated. It's then that Kurao looks at the gang he was carrying, that's when he grimaces when he sees the remaining charge. 

- something wrong? Kiyoko asks him, retrieving one of her bayonets from the right eye of a lightning zombie. 

- I used a lot more energy than I thought, don't worry it will hold up. Kurao replies. 

- All right. Adds kiyoko. 

The remaining 200 zombies all attacked Kurao and Kiyoko, with her two revolvers Kiyoko shot down all the zombies from a distance while Kurao took care of the lightning zombies who approached them faster than the others, after 20 minutes of combat fierce Kurao and Kiyoko had managed to eliminate the 300 zombies blocking access to the meteorological center. 

- the way is finally clear. She told him, smiling. 

- yes, but my katana is empty, I unfortunately have to rely on my good old bat to continue! He said smiling. 

- I'm not telling you, my revolvers have completely become useless now that all his bullets are used up. She said, throwing her guns on the ground. 

Kurao had put his katana back in its sheath, and had taken his bat. Kiyoko had taken the rifle she carried on her back and started moving towards the meteorological center. They had each entered on the lookout, watching from right to left before going to take the stairs to go down to the basement. 

- Kurao why are we going down to the basement? Kiyoko request

- because the emergency generator is there, we can power the building with it. he answers

Arriving in the basement, Kurao takes a shuriken which he throws towards a pillar. after sinking into a pillar the shuriken began to light up. 

- you are definitely full of surprises Kurao! She told him. 

- let's hurry up and find that damn generator and get out of here! he replies. 

They had found the generator, but it was broken. Kurao had to locate it, while Kiyoko stood guard. Only part of the basement was lit, the rest was in total darkness, a few minutes later a zombie jumped on Kiyoko from behind and both fell to the ground, but the zombie was on top before it could bite Kiyoko Kurao had his skull blown up with a bat. 

- Is everything okay, Kiyoko? Kurao asks him worriedly. 

- yes, finally I think so. she responds in a disturbed manner. 

- at least you don't hurt? he asks her

- no, don't worry. she answers

- let's hurry back then! he said

- have you finished repairing the emergency generator? Kiyoko asks him

- yes I'm done. he adds

- you were quick. she said

Kurao and Kiyoko had gone back up after restoring the power, Kurao had pressed the elevator button and they were waiting for it to come down, Kiyoko was ready to shoot and Kurao was ready to throw his shurikens. The elevator had arrived, barely opened when Kurao had thrown 6 shurikens and Kiyoko had fired 6 bullets with her rifle, they realized that the elevator was empty, that's when they looked at each other with a look. embarrassed before getting in the elevator. 

- kurao do you know from which floor the weather forecasts are taken? Kiyoko asks him. 

- if I remember correctly on the top floor there is the broadcasting stage, it must be on the penultimate floor. he replied

Kiyoko just moves her head, the atmosphere was quiet they were alone in an elevator the perfect time to flirt.

It was then that Kurao received a direct message from Kiyoko, the elevator had stopped, they had arrived at their destination.

Once at the weather forecast room Kurao had turned on the machines.
